Here's one of mine. Just so you know making it up as I go along.
Trapped
I'm gone in this endless world,
trapped in a box, a lonley girl.
Crying my eyes out for all you've
done to me. My soul is crying and
no one can see. Stuck forever, never
to be found, I scream so loud, but to you
I don't make a sound. You can't even see me
to you I'm like a bug. I have many problems,
but when I tell you them, you just shrug.

The Pain
It hurts so much
I can't hold on
I feel out of touch
It's been for so long
The pain will win
It always does
i don't know where to begin
And that's just because...

i sit here waiting,
waiting for you
i sit here debating,
debating on what to do
i sit here on this bridge,
on this bridge waiting for you
i sit here wondering'
wondering if youll come
i sit here,
here in the rain
i sit here searching,
seaching my mind
i sit here searching,
searching for an answer i wont find
i sit her deciding,
deciding what to do
i sit here waiting,
waiting for you
i sit here and relize,
relize your not coming for me
i sit here with a decision,
a decision on what to do
i stand here on the edge,
on the edge wondering why
i'm here sinking below,
i'm ready to die

Y'all rock at writing poems. Heres one of mine, An ex-friend of mine said something about me while I was in the shadows and I heard. It inspired me, lol, i guess....
In The Shadows
Hiding in the shadows, slipping from the light
you hear the little things, others just not might,
want your prying ears, to hear along the way,
cant you hear them calling, crying all the day,
only you who bares, carries all alone,
the never ending stream, of comments to the bone,
your bone they want to break, your ears the want to fake,
covering the tales, they tell not to your face,
lying, lying, lying, lying all the same,
tell some other one, who fakes the killing pain,
dying from inside, burning from within,
cant you see the signs, Im falling once again.
So what do you think?

The storm outside
Is nothing
Compared to your eyes
You glare
Hey! It's not my fault
Thunderous insults erupt from your
Beautiful mouth
And I want to kiss you
Not berate you
Or recieve your bitterness
Lightning fast is your toungue
Darting in your mouth around the sharp words that you form
I can't take this
You are mesmerizing
So shimmi your way on out of her
Because I might
Just give in to myself
I might kiss you

| Wow these are all really good!! mine is kind of depressing but at the time I wrote it I was really upset so here it goes... Lies
See my smile
it's a lie
Look in my eyes
they lie too
And my laugh
also a lie
but these scars
they show the truth
these scars on my arm
my only truth

| Judging
I hate it when people judge me
they think i am a brat
but if you look deep inside
you see
i am just like anyone else
i may look preppy
or even act like it to
but you got to keep looking
to find what is true
i have simalar qualities
like you
it may not look true
but it is there
deep with in my inner soul
waiting to be found
and the truth let out
like my mother always says
"Don't judge a book by its cover,"
what really matters is the story inside. |

Should I tell
What's on my mind
Would I go through hell
Or just go blind
What should I do
I know I love you

nice ones! mine's kind of different..it's my latest one
"There's Something Beautiful"
There's something beautiful in the dark corners of empty rooms
Dust gathering around what once had held fragrant beings
There's something beautiful in the yellowed keys of her piano
A ballerina fading from sight, silk ribbons lying upon the ground
Trailing away
There's something beautiful in the pages of an ancient diary
Not from the hidden blossoms, but from the words
Written so long ago
Imagine the spirit hiding within
Once running in a windy meadow, chasing a butterfly down the stream
Or wasting away in an upstairs chamber, glancing out curtains of yesterday.
comments?

Is it just me or is this forum rather deserted? Anywho...
I've been told of a cimmerian tale
As I thrilled and shivered from her eyes
The wind blew an ever frosty gale
Freezing tears tasted in frantic cries
Trying on a smile angular from the shade
Tide as the Night maiden's gleaming blade
Waves ebbing to the last seashell buried deep
Among colored sands still flowing in gentle sleep
Becoming when I was running with her stride
As the butterfly among moths wanting to hide.
Wisdom is cast upon the black sea
Shedding light from her ancient home
As her hair rippled with the eastern wind
I kneel before this wonderous dream
Temper gentle and conscience meek
The sun is her cloak, emerald trees her pin
She only sees the stares so keen
The truest of song, the lyrical poems
Ne'er had I imagined the maiden so fair
Bluish tears upon the autumn sky
Alas so free as a flyaway kite
Kissing the beings that turn away
Asking them for the answers that keep one awake
Soft prayers uttered to herself at night
Still breathing in the morning light
She is again asleep for the other day.

Here iz a lil poem called Alone(about Sirius written from Harry's point of view.)
My friends are great
I'm quite well known
But since he's gone
I feel Alone.
My life is full of people
My friendship circle's grown
But one person's gone
I feel Alone.
I'd not known him for long
When I saw him I felt at home
But he left me here
I feel Alone.
I worshipped Padfoot
The king with no throne
He left without warning
I feel alone.
You like???

here is another poem from me:
inside the box that holds the mystery.
the dark, dank, depressive inside.
what is the mystery?
hidden away inside locks and chains,
escape not an option, and hate is to blame.
to blame for the reasons of why we came
to see this thing that has our minds all twisted.
dain and discord follow the crowd as the shorud
of the rain clouds appear all around.
and the rain begins to fall as the box remains closed.
drip,drop,drip,drop,continuouly into insanity.
the sound of the rain falling to the ground are like
nails on a chalkboard to the ones who seek to find.
the truth, what is truth?
is it something that satisfies our minds for a time
then at the drop of a dime changes the mind.
to believe what it wants to believe.
but the box is the same,
a torturing object that reamins the same and
drives us insane till the same people that we came to know show
no remorse to the underlying hope that the box will open.
chains and locks, and a mystery unrevealed.
or is it?
hope you like stepping into the mind of goldengirl05chs. i am open to opinions.

That's wonderful, it really is. I love your sense of style and the way you arrange your words....wonderful
here's another from me..it's based on the novel The Secret Garden Alone and withered leaves edged the door never opened anymore,
the overcast stone of the barren walls deathlessly same as before.
Like a forlorn and rejected orphan liberated from the wild,
only found by another one, somehow another forlorn child.
Aged eyes and ears just feigned ignorance and passed by,
as the unheard heart of youth broke though the barrier of lies.
With the finding of memories that elapsed beauty left behind,
hopes of this moment in which past ties will cease to bind.
Myopic eyes can sense the coldness of this abandoned lair,
only craving unrequited love thus giving out its despair.
The lock disclosing earlier times may not give it's freedom way,
yet can one speak of freedom to the cynical years and a day?
Small and trembling fingers touched the lock and wiped away the years,
released what had been only fastened by unspoken words and fears.
Letting through the light to what had been broken tears held inside,
these wounds shall heal with time using conviction as a guide.
In the beginning it was a lost soul searching for her promised sunlight,
breaking through to new discoveries and hidden, untouched sight.
Holding out her few dreams of life for this one venture of concern,
the rejuvenated garden reached out and opened its heart in return. |
