I made this so everyone could post any kind of poetry!

to guide you into another land
to keep you safe from harms way
to help you any day
don't fret when i am away

Thro dying suns and midnights grim
Teachers gone and faith grown dim
Whatever dark the world may send
Still friends meet at journeys end

Lonely nights are all I know
Some spared of mournful tears
But tonight I cry, salty tears pour down my face
Stream down my face
Flow into the river of my soul

when i look at you
my heart seams to fly
like an owl in the sky
soaring and gliding
sky high

when you hold my hand
my heart seams to drift off to another land
just me and you
and the big blue
with little white shapes
and even dimonds too

when your lips touch mine
i seam to fly
a mile high
into the sky

but when you leave
i feel all alone
like a stary cat
on the road
begging for food
and a home

so don't leave me all alone
i don't think i will make it on my own

okay, I wrote this about 2 weeks ago, and i'm really nervous about posting it, so here it goes:

A hole in my heart,
A big, gaping mass.
It shattered to pieces,
Like fine, thin glass.

This could not be right,
This could not be true.
My throat was tight,
That December day, 2002.

As I stared into the casket,
Memories flashed by.
She had once put eggs in my basket,
But that was before she had to die.

But the memory that stood out,
Was just the past day.
I had screamed, cried, and shouted,
Like a horse stuck in clay.

Six bullets in her body,
Two in her chest.
My step-dad was naughty,
The doctors tried their best.

If I could hold her one more time,
That would be enough for me.
She was beautiful, sweet, and kind,
I'll miss you, mommy...

Its a poem about my mom, Last year (Dec. 15 2002) my second step-dad shot her to death. (I had another step dad, but she got divorced, then married to the person who killed her later on...) I like writing poems about my mom, and I feel kind of strange posting it here, but I just felt like doing it, so please tell me if its good... :flowersmile:

I'm sorry your mom died, you have a great talent to write poems,and I'm sure your mom really loves you and shes looking down from heaven each day glad that you are her daughter.

And I know she's glad I'm her daughter, because out of the four kids she had, she only meant to have me! The other ones she got pregnant without wanting to...I wont go into details...(ewww..)
