| Awaiting You
I sit and wait,
You are so late,
You shouldn't be,
Late for me,
The Dark Princess,
Whom you must impress,
You should be sad,
You made me mad.
~And the point of this poem is...DON'T MAKE ME MAD!

| Behind Closed Doors
What's happening?
Behind closed doors.
Are they laughing?
Behind closed doors.
Do the hate me?
Behind closed doors.
Are they crazy?
Behind closed doors.
Do they cry?
Behind closed doors.
Do they die?
Behind closed doors.
You never know.
Behind closed doors.
You never go.
Behind closed doors.
~I wrote this when I was having a fight with one of my best friends.

| Tomorrow
Yesterday, I had pain.
Today, pain again.
I look to tomorrow.
Tomorrow, I may have pain.
Time and time again.
Yet the future looks brighter,
Because I am a fighter,
Tomorrow may be sunny,
Filled with milk and honey,
Not today.
~I wrote this one when I was having a fight with my best friend and she turned everyone against me, so I had no friends.

| See Ya Later!
See ya later,
See ya tomorrow,
Never again to feel sush sorrow,
Maybe not, I'm near the end,
Just one more turn, around the bend,
Through the door,
See you no more,
I shall die,
I must not cry,
And as the door draws closer,
I lose my composure,
No reason to live,
I've nothing to give,
Goodbye now,
You can live-but how?
~I wrote this one because my friend wanted me to write a really depressing poem.

| Mobile Phone
Ring ring!
My mobile phone.
Ring ring!
It goes again.
Causing radiation cancer.
Slowly killing me.
It's murderous.
Ring ring!
Should I answer it?
Should I radiate my brain?
Maybe not.
Ring ring!
It could be important.
It could be my family's hurt.
Ring ring!
What to do?
Ring ring!
Only one thing can happen.
Ring ring!
"Hello?"
~Wrote this when I was tal;king to a friend and her phone rang.

| Colours of Life
What are the colours of Life?
For some it's the red of a blood-tainted knife.
Or maybe the green of soft, springy grass.
Or even the blue of seeing the sky at last.
Could be the brown of a great big gum tree,
Or the pink of a rose, plucked fresh for thee.
Whatever yours is, its you own, no-one else,
May take it, it's yours,
It lies on your shelf.

| Knife of Despair
Sad, mad, bad, glad.
Detangle each aspect of my life,
Before I'm hit with the blade of a knife,
I need to cry,
But how come, why?
I don't undrestand,
Where is your guiding hand?
I just live my life,
Avoiding that knife,
That will kill me,
It's despair, you see.
Why do people die young?
When their life's just begun?
Why are they stolen,
And the old people hold on?
Tell me, now,
Before I go "ow!"
As I am hit,
By the knife of despair,
I cling to life,
But because of that knife,
The knife of despair,
I run out of air,
And die.
~I wrote this one when this kid in year 5 died for no reason atb all. He just wouldn't wake up one morning.

| Hostage
Sitting, crowded, crying,
Shooting, screaming silence.
I sit quietly.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Three warning shots.
Three people dead.
Outside people are anxious.
But I'm not.
I just sit quietly.
Waiting.
Waiting for my turn.
Waiting to die.
I know it'll happen.
They won't let me go.
I just wait.
Wait for the Bang!
That will end my pain.
Envelope me with darkness.
Kill me.
I am no longer a hostage.
~This poem was inspired by the school hostage crisis in Russia.

| Yawn
A yawn is a silent scream.
You stretch your mouth wide,
But do not yell.
No sound comes out,
Yet it is still there.
People yawn at tired times,
They are screaming for sleep.
People yawn when they are bored,
They are screaming for escape.
But whenever you yawn,
You are screaming.
Everyone yawns,
Everyone screams.
~This poem was inspired by someone telling me that a yawn is a silent scream.

| Distance and Time
Distance and Time,
Do not mean a thing,
When two people bring,
Their hearts,
Together.
Distance and Time,
Mean everything,
When two people take,
Their Hearts,
Apart.

| Bird
There's a bird outside my window,
I watch it fly so free.
I watch it meet with other birds,
And whistle happily.
How I long to be that bird,
To fly so high,
To be so free.
And I bet that pretty bird,
Would long to be like me.

A way to walk,
A way to talk,
A way to be,
That's so not me.
You must say this,
You must thinks that,
You must wear this,
right here, right now.
This colour hair,
That dress style,
This gold bracelet,
You just must have.

| Smile
A smile lights up a dreary day,
A smile washes your cares away,
A frown will always bring you down,
A smile likes to spead around.
So smile today and every day,
Smile to wash your cares away.

| Broken Heart
I thought I'd cried my share of tears,
I felt my tears had run dry,
I'd no idea I could still cry,
Who could have guessed?
It wasn't I.
He broke my heart a second time,
And made me cry yet again.
But now that time of tears has passed,
Now all I do,
Is seek revenge.

| Falling
Falling feels like flying,
Wind whistles in my ear,
I stretch my body open,
Cothes flap everywhere,
The city lights draw closer,
As I watch the ground draw nearer,
Falling feels like flying,
Untill you hit the ground.

| Murder
Prowling, stalking,
Searching, seeking.
I will find you.
I shall hunt you down,
Like a dog finds it bone,
And as I tighten my grip,
On the gun in my hand,
I hear your breath gasp,
I take aim and fire,
BANG!
You crash to the ground,
As your life seeps away,
I come kneel with you,
I press my gun to your head,
BANG!
You are dead.

I stalk the night silently,
Scanning the surrounds,
Waiting for your move,
Your mistake.
I see a small momevent,
I look at the spot,
Where I watch your body shake,
With insupressable fear,
Your breath starts to gasp,
As you realise I see you,
You begin to run,
And the chase is on.
You blunder and crash,
Yet I still am silent,
Drawing closer you scream,
As I rip at your flesh,
Feel your blood flow away,
As I kneel and drink,
Of the force of your life,
You grow weaker and die,
As I begin to hunt another.

Okay, I'm starting to see a trend here...
I write a happy poem, followed about a bazzillion depressing ones...
DEPRESSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its not Easy
Its not easy being me,
As you very soon will see,
As I cease to exist,
And expirience sheer bliss.
As death clutches at my heart,
And my blood freezes to still,
The cyianide in my hand,
has done its job and even left,
a friendly drop for those from whom I committed this theft.
