Okay.... Here's my dissapointing poetry. Snape's Roll In his dungeon Poor Snape sits
He pauses when writing to think a bit
Pauses before his class is in
The class next he cannot win
"Then walkes in no mousy-Haired stranger
The smart young griffindor Hermione Granger
After her, a red head, Tall not stout
I fear he'll be dead before the year is out
And after him, the stupid one,
The stupid one with whom I have fun!
His boggart becomes me in a wig
Knows no difference between roots and a shrivelfig
Then He walkes in, thin and blonde
He walkes in a stiffels a yawn
The Slytherin you cannot miss
with whose face I would like to collide with my fist
Walkes in with his friends, big old lugs
Draco Malfoy and his gruesome thugs
Now here he comes, the celebrity,
So much better than you and me
Such an idiot, little rotter
James' son, Harold Potter"
Then he rises, class will begin
he teaches the class he cannot win.
More coming soon! :cat:

Here I am again.... I'm posting ship poems. Yay go me! Someone Named me
A Slytherin, you. A Gryff am I,
I look at you and stiffle a sigh
My heart pounds when I look at you
I pray you don't notice, you never do.
We first met on the Hogwarts train.
Since then, you know naught of my pain
With pansy you went to the Yule Ball
I admit now my confidance took a great fall
You know she dosn't love you
Why don't you get with someone new?
Someone who's brown-haired, someone who's nice
Someone who's made of sugar and spice
She's in front of your face, you just can't see
Why don't you love someone named me?
if you haven't guessed that's for my Hr/D ship.

Well, here I am, back again. He Loved Her Too
She sits all summer, one hand in a fist
Hoping that someone will grant her her wish.
But no, he's in love with Cho what's-her-name
Him with his glory, him with his fame
She never knew, while emotions stew
She never knew, he loved her too
Life is on her face, but not in her eyes
A new day dawns, she's all out of cries
"I can't have him, he's out of my grasp"
With this thought deadly terrors clasp
"I love you"'s all she has to say
Will she tell him? There's no way
Even after Death Eaters killed her, she never knew
Never knew, he loved her too.
H/G
So.... What do you think?

Hi everyone! I'm back again with more poems...... this time I wrote them in my World Geo class after a test...... BlackHole
Blackhole. Sucks light in
never ever ever
to be seen again
Life's a BlackHole, days slipping by
While we sit and wonder
While we slowly wonder why.
Oh, Why cannot I grasp
While they last, while they last
My days with a tighter clasp
And why cannot I save
A mere one
From the darkening wave.
This (if you look close enough) is like one of Edgar Allen Poe's poems....
Yeah, I do enjoy the freaky dark poems
Here they are! Do you see them not?
Are they mere playthings of my thought?
The Horses! Pale, Black White and Red!
I fear now we soon shall be dead!
Here they are! The end is near!
As the riders on us leer!
It IS the end! Goodbye today!
The riders now will have their way!
I was going to give this one a title, but I cant spell the word I wanted It was going to be "The four riders of the {insert word I can't spell meaning end of the world}
Where does mind end and life begin?
If we wish it, will we win?
But my dear, don't you see?
If we wish it, it will be!
Tell me what you think!

Aw, man, Thanks everyone. I'm really flattered! Really glad you like them. I just started writing them this year. (with help from the all-master of poets, Poe.) I'm trying to write more, but between homework, tests and my second home the mall...... well it's hard! But I've got one waiting in the wings, just got to put a few finishing touches on it. I might do another HP one, hey, you know, might as well do requests too! :cat: <ha ha. I don't know why but I love the kitty!

My friend, it is very, very good. You could easily pass for someone who has been writing much longer. *Thinks: That's the way it is with the gifted.*

Thanks Lucio! I was in a very Malfoy-ish mood after school so... Lucius Malfoy
Black robes and sleek blond hair
Evil with his steel grey stare
Wizard that cannot be beat
A Death Eater you would never want to meet
Pure-blood, proudest of them all
Muggleborns will take the fall
Sly Mr. Ministry man
His master'll rule all the land!
Azakaban's not where he'll stay!
he'll rule along with master one day!
Lucio's an awesome poet.... go read it, go on! Slytherin
The colors of silver and green
Are for friends in Slytherin
(for the color of green has a wonderful sheen)
And red and gold
For Gryffindor bold
(Quite pretty for playing quidditch, I'm told)
Bronze and blue
For Ravenclaw, true
(But it's not the blue after cleaning the loo)
Yellow and black
Mean's Hufflepuff's back
(Though I think there's alot that this house does lack)
Slytherin snake
Makes badgers quake
Lion's not supreme
Nor Eagle serene.
Winner takes all
Snake'll never fall
My evil Slytherin
Of beautiful Silver and Green
Okay.... so you've got to fudge the sounds for Slytherin...... I needed it to rhyme with green ya know.....
Tell me what you think!
P.S. Lucio, How the heck did you find out I was labled as Gifted?! :/

Thanks so much, DarkRaven109
Commentary for Lucius Malfoy
A descriptive, poetic account of one man you don't want to cross! Astonishingly accurate-no fuzz to tarnish the Evil Sheen!
Commentary for Slytherin
A creative description of all the Houses with intermittent dashes of Slytherin satire blended right in! It is sure to make any Slytherin proud of who they are!
By the way, cats are very cool-and serpents of course!
On a more fantastic level, of course I have my...rather cunning ways...to get to know those who I see worthy of acquainting myself with. And you are MORE than worthy.
(Just so everyone knows, I am playing the part of a smug "Malfoy-ish"
pureblood wizard. Do not take offense, and certainly do not think I see any of you here as unworthy.)
On a more realistic level, as you well know, there are certain characteristics more or less very prevalent and prominent in gifted people. One of them, greatly expressed in this very thread, is highly developed verbal/linguistic abilities/expressive abilities. Gifted children also tend to have a high emotional sensitivity, which well explains your ability to open up to a character most people hate the guts of. That is only one example, however. Many typical people enjoy Lucius, while many gifted people may not like him at all.
Also, I am gifted too-we tend to pick each other up like magnets. We stand out. It also pleases me intensely that you got the chance to be labeled gifted. Gifted females deserve so much more attention for their gifts than they are currently receiving overall. Fight the power, DarkRaven-I know you can.
For the rest of you-I can't stress enough that ypu have your own unique abilities. If you didn't know already, feel free to express yourself in the Leaky Cauldron in "Where do you talents lie?" Okay?

Wow, Lucio. Thanks. Here's another one I wrote about writers block in math class (Don't ask.... I was having writers block and....)
I'm sitting here, my mouth agape,
I think I must have the IQ
Of a very large ugly ape
The writer's death
What shall I write?
Faded words still on my breath
And the block in my mind
has continued to grow
words don't come at all
or else come very slow
And there's no other word
I can get to rhyme
So I'll finish this poem
At some other time
There's no other word
My tired mind can rend
So sadly my poem
Must come to an end.

Here I am again..... No Taste Sweeter
There's no taste sweeter on these ruby lips of mine
I know I've looked forever, but another one I can't find
A candy sweet
Delicious treat
There's no taste better
Now or ever
I know it'll bring the world to an end
But there's no taste sweeter than revenge!
And there isn't too! Anywho, here's another one I've written for my Love Bites Anti-Cupid Campain. There's one member so far..... Sort of reminds you of S.P.E.W. don't it?
It was the summer month of June
She fell in love by the light of the moon
He said he'd love her forever
She went home as light as a feather
The've been in love since
I don't give two pence
So if you fall in love by the light of the moon
You're doomed.
Ha. Found it funny for some odd reason. Well if anyone wants to join the L.B.A.C.C.....

Hey guys (and gurls) Sry for the lapse in poem time  I've been buisy, but I've got a finished one upstairs (I'm sort of in my basement) and I'm too lazy to get it, And American Idol's coming on. I gotta see my Simon (did I just say that out loud?!) and I've got one about Snape. I'm not done, but it's going to freaking be the longest and most depressing thing I've ever written. Watch me. It'll be coming soon!

Hey everybody! Sorry I haven't been here for a while. My Wonderful computer Wouldn't let me on Snich :kill_computer: Then I FINALLY got on today and found out that they changed the color of the forums. (which I hate, Puhleeaassee change it back!) well at least it's changed on my computer... which freakes out alot. So, Where I am it's Problem Gambler's week here's a poem I wrote about it... Even if I don't know how to play poker... but... Poker Game
You make me feel so out of place
Can't see beyond your poker face
You've got a winning hand I know
as you draw your cards oh-so-slow
The chips are on the table now
You're out for blood, cat on the prowl
Everyone's folded 'cept you and me
You're going to win, you know I see
You lay down your hand with such an air
My cards are feeble to compare
Voices in my head now say
"There's another hundred blown today"
And if you like it or not, we don't bluff the same
Life's just one big poker game.
here's another one, I was laughing SO hard Hogwarts
Trelawny's in a trance
Lockhart's got tight pants
Snape's trying to hide
his evil, death eater side
Lupin's howling at the moon
We all think Quirrel's a loon
McGonagal's a kitty kat
She's rather thin, not short and fat
There's Hagrid, tall
and Flitwick, small
Binns the goul
Still teaching school
Filch is a psyco
Umbrige needs lipo
And then there's Mad-Eye
What a strange guy
Now a new year has begun
The School song has now been sung
At the table sits Dumbledore
This year will be better than the one before!
HAHAhAhAhAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! *passes out* okay, i'm better now. My REALLY long one about Snape'll be on my next post. It's IS quite long, and I'm not sure about the limit. :cat:

Okay, Here we are... Severus Snape
The battle for everything will be fought at Hogwarts today
What I would like to say
I can't
I might as well, if I die it will be irrevelant
My Death Eater days are over and done
So many battles lost, so few won
The Phoenix will burn today,
Will it rise? I cannot say
I'd like to say my childhood was fun
I'd lived every day like it was my last one
Lived every day like tomorrow'd I'd die
Then again, that would be a lie
My father was my mother's prize
Even through all of his lies
She'd walk around, her eyes shaded
Then one day she retialated
I did something I won't mention here
The look in hes eyes still brings me fear
She tried to protect me, but he killed her that night
It wasn't a fight
Though he tried
What he killed was her mind
There closes that chapter, memories no dearer.
I think the Death Eaters are coming nearer
Later then, I went to school
At classes I was no fool
Then came James
Ugliest of names
Never liked him before
Worst was in store
Lilly and I were in the same house
She fell for Potter, Pathetic louse
After she married, when it was too late to see
Lilly Evans-Potter realized she really loved me.
Then came her son, Harry was his name
The Potter boy who now has fame.
She said Harry didn't belong to James, which was fine.
Except he was mine.
I became a Death Eater that year
My master I feared
I was on the crusade to the potter's house
It was me, the Dark Lord, and Peter the Mouse
I watched him kill my love, my only one.
Then he tried to kill my son.
A hero was made that day
but it wasn't the one the papers say
Ah, It'd take to long to explain
The memory still causes pain
I began to teach,
No, I began topreach
The learned art of Potion-Making
Whilst the students were note-taking
Then Harry came
Came with his fame
I'd loved to dump him in the Thames
For the Idiot looked just like James
Now here we are, aged seven years
I live inside the same old fears
I've caused so many so much strife,
I battle now to save my life

You think Professor Snape is evil? I'm not sure, but I honestly think he could be.
Dumblefore is human after all.
Keep them coming. By the way-Gilderoy looks horrible in tight pants!

Hey everyone!
This is one for Lucio The Swimming Trip
The Malfoys went swimming one fine summer day
It was at a pool, not a beach or a quay
The whole family was in the pool
The air was warm and the water cool
But those poor Malfoy's didn't know
(If they DID know they wouldn't go)
That the chemical of pool chlorine
Turns even wizards' blonde hair green
And for a random fact of usless info; in this week's issue of US news, there is, in fact, a teacher quoted who's name is "Lucius Stephenson" just thought I'd let you know. Hedwig
Harry's owl, Hedwig, white
Glides so swiftly through the night
Met McGonagal the cat while delivering a letter
Now he's no more that a pile of feathers And, since it's St. Patric's Day, I'd like to leave you all with a message: Ireland
She's calling me home
With the sound of sheep in the field
She's calling me home
With that magical power she weilds
O'er the green hills I'll walk
for she's calling me home
And with the green land I'll talk
And I'll know I'm home
The breeze will speak to me
and tell me I'm home
And at night the Moon'll see
Me asleep on my home
For Erin is calling me home
And her wounds I will mend
For I'll always be home
In the green of Ireland
Walk the path to a peaceful Ireland! Find your Ard Ri!
Erin go braugh! :rose:

I'm trapped
Not going anywhere
Been here since the beginning of forever
I'll be here until the end of never
Screams to the bars of my gold-gilded cage
Crying hot tears of rage
Find the key
Pick the lock
Free me
And you'll see
That I can land on branch and sing
This bird still flies with broken wing!
I wrote this in Math sort of how I feel at school. I hate that place.

Urgh! I just found out that in "snape" I mispronounced "Thames" . Grr. Bad darkraven! Bad darkraven! That's what happens when you're an American trying to sound British. Yeah. When I watch BBC I end up learning something. Unlike American Programming which teaches you next to zilch

Happy Easter everyone! Sorry I haven't been poetic lately.... Spent alot of time (and money) at the mall. (ie. At Hot Topic) The Kingdom of Somewhere
I ruled in a land long ago
somewhere
Where it was I don't know
It was Somewhere
And it was bordered on by the sea
Of Somewhere
A kingdom for just you and me
Somewhere
I seem to have lost that place
It's somewhere
Where I was dressed in ribbons and lace
Somewhere
And noone seems to care
(although they would there)
I'm a lost refugee from Somewhere
I'd written this a long time ago.... I found it in my portfolio while I was cleaning out my desk..... It's amazing what you find when you look!
