This is my first time posting any of my poems here. They're really kind of random. I really write more chapter book types of things, like my fan fictions, but I thought I would post some poems too. So here is my first one

Here I sit starring at the computer screen
Thinking of all that’s been seen
What to say that’s put the right way
What words to say everything I mean to say
I guess that out of all that’s happened
All the rain stuck on the glasses
That I would like to say to you
Thank you for what you do
For being there and you truly care
That I am always right there
Thanks to you my dearest friend
The one that’s always been in my head
Hold on so tight when I was scared
Told me I wasn’t a loser somewhere
You told me to hang on tight
To stay through to the end
It’ll be alright
So here I say in two simple words
One’s that will always be in my heart

Thanks for your thoughts guys I really appreciate it. Here is another poem I wrote for a friend who was dealing with the problem of never being able to see her boyfriend. Hope you like it

I watched the rain as it fell
Wishing that I was well
I haven’t seen you in a while
And I am beginning to think that I never will
I keep your picture on my desk
And under my pillow
And on my head rest
When I go to bed I pretend you’re there
Cause deep inside I know you care
But it’s just so hard never seeing you
Never knowing if it’s really true
I read the words on the screen
And wish that you could just be seen
That you could hold me deep at night
And tell me you love me with a kiss goodnight
But inside I know you’re trying hard
Cause I am too
It’s just so hard
But deep inside I know one day
We’ll see each other each and every day
So I promise you my darling dear
That I will love you with all my heart
And I would stand out in the rain

And I would die if you died to too

From this I write to my friend

Thanks so much for your thoughts guys. I really appreciate it. I'm not really sure when I started writing poems Anna, I kind of just write them when the mood strikes me. The ones I have posted have all been for my friend though, but I love to write, so I do

Close my eyes late at night
Everything just feels so right
Day and night you’re my light
Nothings wrong everything’s right
I feel like there is no one else

The way you talk, the way you smile
That makes this seem so worthwhile

Thanks Angel My brother and I actually don't get along too well, lol. We're like the complete opposites. But here is another poem. Sorry it has been a little bit since my last post. Here it is:

I am writing this for one of my friends
One who I’ve known since way back when
I could say a lot of things how she’s great
How she’s creative, pretty, unique, and has great traits
But lately my friend has been pretty sad
Boy troubles have been making her mad
She said she felt this, but at the same time felt that
I listen so closely to give my advice
Help her through the troubles and all her frights
But unfortunately I don’t have those powers
All those wonderful physic powers
I can be her shoulder when she cries
And her friend day and night
I can hold her hand tight
I can be there for forever; eternity
I can stand up and face all those nasty pet peeves

I haven't posted any in a while, sorry about that, but here is a new poem. Kind of like a random little love thing, lol. Hard to explain. Hope you enjoy it

Day after day when they passed
He would smile
And she would laugh
In their groups
Tightly knit
In her heart was the deepest stitch
She wanted him and he wanted her
But they were so different
Could they be sure?
Their friends would laugh
And say “no way!”
And they would fight to get along
Too many problems
Have to chose
Friends or girl
Boy or friends
Why is love so hard?
It never ends
She was the bookworm
And he was the skater
Oh how much she wanted to say
“Would you be my boyfriend?”
And he would say
“Yes I would cause I love you too”
But in that world it’s complicated too
So day after day they will pass

Well since it has been a while since I last posted a poem, and I don't have any shorter poems, I thought I would post a song. I have quite a few of those. So here is a song I wrote for a friend I think. lol. I don't remember, but enjoy!

I wrote a poem just for you
To thank you for everything you do
I gave it a kiss and signed my name
Wrote a heart without being vain
I told you how I loved you so
How I thanked you for always being there
You never were one to never care
I told how once in life

From scary monsters under the bed
And all those bad things in my head
I began to grow big and strong
Becoming a teenager after not so long
I went to high school with shining eyes

Thanks Tina, lol. I usually don't tell people about my poems. They aren't the best. Anyway, we had to put my dog down and he's been in my family since I was like a month old, so I wrote this poem for him. I love him still.
