anyway welcome Mrs Susan Potter, i'm sure many envy you hee hee thankyou for your comments everybody! i still feel unworthy hee hee expecially coz i'm quite convinced this next post is not good enough... o well here it is anyway Chapter 4: Eep!
Over the next week the kids continued cleaning the living room and eventually finished it. Now they were onto the bedrooms and a lot of unexpected things had been discovered under the beds and in the wardrobes. A secret compartment in Ron’s wardrobe held another severed hand, like the ones that Ginny had found in the attic. Also a stuffed cat was found under Ginny’s bed.
One Wednesday Ron and Hermione were cleaning the boy’s room, while Harry and Ginny cleaned the girl’s. Ginny was getting used to being in only Harry’s company now, and they never mentioned the “almost kiss”.
“Do you actually want this colour in your room?” said Harry, glaring at the sickly green colour on his brush (he was repainting the dresser).
“No way! But mum makes the choices so…”
“Do you reckon it dries and turns out nicer?”
“The only nice kind of green is your eyes.” Ginny blushed bright red as she realised what she just said.
“Do you mean that?” he asked breaking the awkward silence.
“Yes I do…” she said not believing she was saying this. Harry looked at her, her stunning blue eyes, and her gleaming red hair. This girl was something special and he loved her.
“You know what?” he said.
“What?”
“I think I owe you something…” He leaned forward and kissed her deeply. Her lips were soft and gentle, and he didn’t want to leave them but slowly, he fell of the stool he was sitting on. Great. Suddenly they crashed to the ground laughing having messed up their first kiss completely. They stood up slowly and he kissed her again. This time it was perfect. He embraced her and she felt like someone had just grabbed her hand, helping her willingly drift up to heaven. She ran her hands through his hair and couldn’t believe this was happening. She heard the door open but didn’t care. Then she realised, she should care! What if it was Ron? Breaking away she gazed up at the door her eyes wide. Harry saw she was staring at the door and turned his head in the same direction. There in the doorway was Ron, gazing at them half murderous, half shocked.
“Eep” said Harry before diving behind a bed and whispering
“I’m not here.”
Ginny couldn’t help but let out a giggle, despite the desperation of the situation.
“Harry what were you doing kissing my sister?” He sounded firm and angry, but did not shout.
“Erm… I guess I felt like it.”
“Well you can’t feel like it then!” Ron spat.
“And why not?” Ginny complained.
“Because you’re my sister, and he’s my best mate!”
“Hermione’s my best friend and you’re my brother!” Said Ginny, outraged.
“Yeah well that’s different!” Said Ron.
“No it’s not…” Harry muttered.
“Shut up Harry you kissed my sister!”
“Well aren’t I lucky!” Harry smiled and Ron glared at him.
Ginny was finding it hard not laugh as she saw Hermione in the doorway gawping at Harry.
“Harry? Did you kiss Ginny?”
“And proud!” he replied unable to stop grinning having now come out from behind the bed.
“Ron I think you’re overreacting calm down,” said Hermione
“Fine you can have her Harry but no snogging in public! Was that your first kiss?”
“No actually that was about two seconds before I fell off my chair…” He said indicating to the tipped over stool. Ginny could no longer hold in her laughter and collapsed into suffocating giggles.
Ginny’s laughter began to attract an audience at the door and Tonks, Mr and Mrs Weasley and Lupin stood in the doorway making Hermione move out of the way. Mrs Weasley observed the room with Ron slumped on a chair, Harry behind the bed, Hermione gawping at Harry and Ginny half-suffocating on the floor.
“What happened here?” she asked, but before she could get an answer Harry burst out laughing at the look on Ron’s face. He was sitting with his head in one hand and a look of both annoyance and stubbornness.
“Nothing mum Harry err… fell off his chair…” said Ginny finally able to stop laughing. The false explanation was very convincing despite the “err”.
“Whatever, just hurry up and finish cleaning…”
When the rooms were finally finished it was almost time for dinner. All the kids were called down to help prepare whether they had finished or not. Ginny was just leaving when Harry grabbed her arm and said
“Ginny can I ask you something?”
“Yeah sure…” Her pulse was quickening fast with the hope of what was coming.
“Do you want to be my girlfriend?” He sounded pointlessly nervous.
“What do you mean “Do you want to” of course I do!” Her heart back-flipped around her body in happiness and she once again found herself unable to stop smiling. Harry’s eyes sparkled and he smiled, kissed her briefly but passionately and left to help prepare for dinner.
“Harry wait…” she burst out.
“What is it?”
“Don’t tell anyone yet I don’t want my mum to know…”
“Ok how come?” he asked kindly.
“Well… She’ll probably freak… She knew about Dean but that didn’t go anywhere and she didn’t know about Michael…”
“Oh right ok, she probably would freak actually…” He kissed her again briefly and half jumped down the stairs. When he got to the bottom she heard him say
“hee hee!” happily.
Ginny ran into her room and squealed in pleasure, jumping up and down on her bed in celebration of what just happened. She had waited so long… Suddenly her one-person party was interrupted by a surprised laugh and she turned to see Hermione, once again, standing in the doorway.
“What’s the celebration for now?”
“I’m Harry’s girlfriend!” She replied. Hermione screamed and started jumping with her, something very unlike the Hermione she knew.
“Oh my god Ginny! You are so lucky!”
“I had to wait four years do you call that lucky! You’re Ron’s girlfriends aren’t you?”
“No we’re just going out! You’ve never been out with Harry you’re already his girlfriend! You’ve skipped a stage!”
“There are stages?”
“Yes!”
“Ok then…” Silence fell as Ginny wondered where Hermione’s weird stage idea had come from.
“Oh alright I’m talking rubbish there’s no difference but congratulations anyway, come on lets go!”
“Hermione don’t tell anyone please!”
“What, not even Ron?”
“Oh would you tell Ron?”
“Yeah sure! It might come as a bit of a shock for him though, look at his first reaction…”
“Oh well he’ll get over it let’s go…” end of seventh post hey atleast i got the most important part done! anyone got any advice? xxx

When Ginny and Hermione came down Ron was looking a little more cheerful and was talking to Harry as normal. She began to sit down when a brown owl landed on her seat and she fell over sideways trying not to squash it.
“Oh not again…” moaned Harry untying the letter.
“What is it Harry?” asked Ginny
“Another stupid letter from Cho…”
“Are you still in contact?” Ginny asked, worried.
“No she just keeps sending me stupid apology letters… well this is the second one I didn’t reply to the first… human hosepipe…” he replied and Ginny laughed.
“What does it say?”
“Hold on… Blah blah blah blah usual drivel er… “You didn’t reply to my last letter so I assumed you didn’t get it” Ha! Whatever “I’m really sorry about last year, with Cedric and everything it was really hard for me” Oh my god she can barely write his name anymore… “I’m willing to give another chance really, see you at school” Why can’t she just leave me alone! Has anyone got a quill and some parchment?”
Lupin handed him the equipment needed and he began to write. Ginny read it from over his shoulder when he was done along with Ron.

It’s a bit late to apologise now so can you please stop sending me letters. I have a new girlfriend now anyway and she’s not going to be happy if you keep writing to me. If Marietta hadn’t told on the DA maybe it could have worked, but she did and it’s too late to apologise. Harry
“Who’s your girlfriend?” Demanded Ron.
“I made that up so she’d stop writing stupid!” He replied, but he winked at Ginny when Ron looked away. She blushed and sat down at last to eat. It was then that she realised Tonks had seen him wink at her as she was (as usual) beaming at them from across the table.
After dinner Tonks cornered her and demanded to know what was happening.
“Ginny what’s going on between you and Harry?”
“Nothing!”
“Don’t lie I saw him wink at you!”
“Fine there is something going on…”
“What!?”
“Well… I’m sort of… his girlfriend…”
“Oh my god! Wow! You two are so perfect!”
“Hey Gin” said Harry appearing out of nowhere, well his head appearing out of nowhere. He supposedly was hanging down from the balcony above the door; it looked very strange, as his head was floating upside-down at the top of the doorway. “What is it Tonks?”
“Oh my god you two are so perfect that’s what!”
“Oh right Gin did you tell Tonks? … Well that sort of gave it away anyway but?”
“Yeah I did but she kinda figured it out for herself…”
Harry’s head disappeared for a second then he swung down from the balcony into the room.
“Ok then Tonks please don’t tell anyone, I know Ron’s gonna freak when I tell him…”
“Hermione’s telling Ron!”
“Really? Great!”
“I’ll see you two later then, bye!” said Tonks and she left, leaving the kitchen empty except for Harry and Ginny.
They stood in a comfortable silence, which was broken by a yell from upstairs.
“WHAT!” Followed by the thump of someone running down the staircase two steps at a time. Ron came bursting into the kitchen looking very shocked.
“Ginny are you Harry’s girlfriend?!” he almost yelled.
“YES AND NOTHING YOU SAY IS GOING TO CHANGE THAT!” She yelled. Ginny was so sick of Ron being so over protective. She wasn’t a little girl anymore she could take care of herself! Her blood boiled with rage and love. She had waited many years for Harry just to notice her and she wouldn’t let her brother get in the way of her dreams.
“Ron do you want me to get you a punchbag or play the roll of punchbag?” asked Harry. She smiled despite her mood and turned to hug Harry tightly. She didn’t know why but tears were spilling down her cheeks and she sobbed onto his shoulder as Ron watched, completely confused.
“Ginny I’m… I’m sorry…” he mumbled looking at the floor in shame.
“Ron I think you’re overreacting… again… why can’t somebody else say that for once I said that earlier!” said Hermione, entering unexpectedly… again…
“Besides why does Ginny being my girlfriend change anything, you saw us earlier?” asked Harry.
“It’s just… well… that’s different!”
“That’s your excuse for everything Ron, that’s different.” Said Ginny
“Yeah well… whatever I don’t mind…”
“It’s ok mate I know it must be weird, every man’s nightmare to have his best friend date his sister… but hey! We’ve got another year before we’re men so we can do whatever we like!” Said Harry, which made Ron smile and mumble a weak apology.
“I’m sorry…”
“It’s ok! Ginny what’s wrong?” He sounded concerned and she felt her heart lift.
“I don’t know… I’m just…” She burst into tears again found herself sobbing on his shoulder. Ron looked immensely guilty. Ginny let him breath for a moment and sat down on the same chair as Harry.
Suddenly there was a loud crack and the chair collapsed along with Harry and Ginny. She found herself lying on the floor next to what looked like a broken chair leg and burst out laughing.
“I have got to stop sitting on chairs or there’ll be none left in the house…” said Harry. He saw Ginny laughing and he beamed at her, his eyes sparkling. He was obviously overjoyed that she was happy again.
In August the booklists arrived from Hogwarts bringing many surprises. Hermione had all Outstandings except for DADA. Harry had mostly Exceeds Expectations like Ron, but was surprised to discover he got an Outstanding in DADA. Harry’s letter also contained another surprise.
“Wo…” said Harry.
“What?” said Ron
“Erm… nothing!” replied Harry. Ginny snatched the letter from Harry, who then jumped behind the sofa where no one could see him. Ginny screamed and yelled
“Quidditch captain!” Everyone gasped.
“Yeh… how’d I manage that?” asked Harry (still behind the sofa.)
“By being the best player on the team duh!”
“Good one Harry” said Hermione.
“I think I’ll try out for chaser this year, although my skills might have dropped a bit being cooped up here…” said Ginny.
“Great, I have to hold tryouts for the new beaters and chasers, I don’t wanna have to turn down my girlfriend!”
“I won’t be offended don’t worry, I’ll just glare at the chasers constantly throughout matches so they loose concentration, then I can replace them!”
“That’s ok you can do that, captain’s permission”
Everyone laughed as Mrs Weasley came in to collect the booklists. Harry received many congratulations from the Order at dinner. Ginny felt so lucky, she wasn’t just Harry Potter’s girlfriend, she was the Gryffindor Quidditch captain’s girlfriend now! She could already see the envious faces of the girls in her dormitory…
The summer holidays wilted away as September approached. Harry and Ginny were still together but no one else had found out about their relationship. Ginny was now more confident and didn’t blush all the time that Harry was around. How would it look if she was embarrassed all the time he was around and she was his girlfriend? She knew many girls would be deathly jealous of her, and she’d have to put up a fight to keep him by her side. Little did she know that Harry wouldn’t trade Ginny for anyone in the world. Cho had sent many pleading letters to Harry, but everyone had learned to burn any letters from “that dark brown owl”.
Everyone was up early to catch the Hogwart’s express, and as usual Mrs Weasley was killing everybody for being five minutes behind schedule.
“KIDS GET DOWN HERE NOW, GINNY LEAVE THAT TRUNK, RON GET OUT THE BATHROOM, FRED THROW THAT AWAY NOW, GEORGE YOUR UNIFORM IS NOT IN THE BASEMENT YOU BURNED IT REMEMBER YOU IDIOT?”
When Mrs Weasley’s voice could yell no more the Hogwart’s party set off in ministry cars to King’s Cross Station.
“Harry you do realise every girl in the school fancies you now?” said Hermione
“I won’t trade Ginny for anyone, you know that.” Harry replied.
“Good, coz she’s worried you’ll go for some blonde girl she knows fancies you in our year…”
“Who’s that?”
“Alison Edwards… she’s that tall blonde one, know her?” that was quite long uh huh, gd 4 me

Welcome Kaitlyn! thankyou bery much all of you, watch out coz if you keep complimenting me i might accidentally propose to you, i do that sometimes... but anyway heres another post::::::::::::::::::::::::
Chapter 6: Flirting Monsters!
The trio and Ginny spent most of the train journey playing Wizard’s Chess and eating chocolate frogs. When they arrived at Hogsmeade station they were desperate to do anything but play chess, much to Ron’s disappointment (he had won all five tournaments). At the feast Ginny could already feel the eyes watching her as she sat next to Harry, talked to him, smiled at him. Lavender Brown was glaring at her menacingly all dinner, but smiled sweetly whenever Harry noticed. Lavender was one of the girls (along with Alison Edwards) who blew kisses at Harry through the doors of the train compartment. Harry had simply ignored all the girls flirting with him through the glass as all his attention was given to Ginny. At one point a girl in Ginny’s year had stopped at the window to wave at Harry and blow kisses. Ginny was busy telling a story about an accident someone had in Potions, so all Harry’s attention was on her. Without taking his gaze off his girlfriend he had moved over to the door and shut the blinds in her flirting face. The offended gasp was heard through the door and Ginny glowed in pride. He wanted her and no one else.
Ron and Hermione left to shepherd the first years so Harry and Ginny went back to the common room together, followed by the glares of jealous girls. They didn’t seem to be able to get through a single corridor without some random girl saying:
“Hi Harry” in a honey voice. She could tell he was struggling not to laugh at all the faces.
Parvati Patil’s POV
Parvati was feeling left out. Ever since she admitted to Lavender that she didn’t fancy Harry, her best friend had started hanging around with Alison Edwards. Alison doesn’t even like Divination! She’s as crazy as Hermione Granger, I still can’t believe that girl gave up Divination how could she? Parvati was pondering on how on Earth Hermione Granger could have given up Divination when she heard raised voices coming from the stairs to the fat lady.
“NO WAY HE’S MINE, HE DIDN’T EXACTLY IGNORE ME ON THE TRAIN” yelled Lavender’s voice.
“O YEH HE WAVED AT ME I SWEAR” bellowed what sounded like Alison.
“YOU LYING BI**H HE DIDN’T EVEN LOOK AT YOU”
“YES HE DID, HE’LL DUMP THAT GINGER COW FOR ME AND YOU KNOW IT YOU’RE JUST JEALOUS”
“OH YEH PROVE IT ASK HIM OUT THEN, GO ON I DARE YOU ALISON EDWARDS TO ASK OUT HARRY POTTER”
“FINE I WILL YOU’LL SEE” finished Alison and they both stormed towards the fat lady who was covering her ears and looking extremely annoyed.
Ginny’s POV
The common room was empty, as everyone else had gone to bed by now. Upon seeing this Harry leaned in and kissed her passionately. She slung her arms round his neck and heard the portrait hole open, but she didn’t care anyone could look. Suddenly she was pulled away from Harry and two girls appeared looking furious. Lavender Brown and Alison Edwards. Ginny was shoved aside as Alison approached Harry.
“Harry go out with me I know you want to, I saw you looking at me on the train, and I’m so much better than that thing over there” she said indicating at Ginny.
“No way I know you love me Harry you don’t want them, lay off Alison he’s mine”
“I don’t think so Lavy dear he’s mine!”
“No way he’s mine he loves me!”
“HE LOVES ME HE’S MINE!”
The two girl’s voices rang through the common room and Harry ruffled his hair impatiently. Eventually he decided to brake up the on going argument.
“SHUT UP!” He yelled and the two girls immediately obeyed.
“I think you’ll find you mad little ferrets that if anyone’s I’m hers…” he said indicating at Ginny. “G’night Gin I’ll see you tomorrow” He kissed her briefly and disappeared up to his dormitory, leaving three stunned girls in his wake.
ladies and gentlemen please welcome another amazing siggy from Miss Cheyenne. Oh yeh and don't worry Kaitlyn i hate splitting couples up, although it won't all be plain sailing... *mwahaha* *shifty eyes* thanks again people!

Chapter 7: I’m Bored.
It was two weeks into the new term and everyone was still together. Gryffindor house seemed to be full romance as everyone was paired off. Although it was more like everyone was trying to make someone else jealous. Seamus had agreed to go out with Lavender, but it was obvious that she was just trying and failing to make Harry jealous. The difference was that he didn’t care that she was using him, as long as he got enough kisses everyday. Also Dean had asked out Parvati and began to eat her face everytime Ginny and Harry appeared, so he was trying to make Ginny jealous. Neville had run around to common room hugging everybody when Luna had asked him to go into Hogsmeade with her. Everyone knew this was Neville’s first date minus the Yule Ball, and couldn’t help but laugh at his joy.
Harry and Ginny seemed to be the most successful couple in Gryffindor. They never argued and enjoyed eachother’s company. Ron and Hermione had the usual quarrels but they seemed to be more playful than evil. One evening the trio and Ginny were doing last minute homework in the common room. Well Harry and Ron were doing last minute homework while being watched by impatient and amused girlfriends.
“I’m bored” said Ron slamming his quill down on the table. A first year walked pass and he flashed a cheeky, evil grin before throwing a pillow right at her head. The girl screamed and fell to the floor, causing Harry, Ron and Ginny to laugh.
“Ron!” said Hermione, but she bit her bottom lip as though she was thinking. Quickly she came out of her trance and threw a large cushion at a group of third years, before she burst out laughing. On impact all the third years around the table fell off their chairs, followed by Harry.
“DAMMIT! Why is it everytime I sit on a chair I fall off?” he moaned (he had fallen of the bench in Charms earlier that day) as Ginny rolled around on the floor laughing, resulting in Harry throwing a book at her. She retaliated instantly with a quill that soared over his shoulder, narrowly missing his eye. Having run out of stationary items to throw Ginny lunged forward and knocked Harry off his chair. She intended to fight him but ended up kissing him instead while Ron started huge ink fight, but she didn’t mind. Soon everyone in the common room was chucking books and ink across the room. The fight was so large no one noticed Professor McGonagall enter. Consequently the whole of Gryffindor house retreated up to the dormitories plastered in ink, after being thoroughly yelled at.
Once clean and settled the sixth year dorm members began to discuss the highlights of the big fight.
“I can’t believe how many people got involved!” said Seamus. “Although Harry spent most of his time on the floor with-_” but he never finished his sentence, as Harry’s pillow came flying at his head.
i would love that to happen at my school... *sigh*

Chapter 8: The Love Life Of Vegetables!
Harry and Ron were once again catching up on homework in October and were once again bored. But Harry had a very interesting question bothering him.
Harry: “Hey if Ginny was a fruit or vegetable, what would she be?”
Ron: “Um… a tomato?”
Harry: “Nah… er… what about a cherry?”
Ron: “Heh maybe yeah”
Harry: “What about Hermione?”
Ron: “Um… a frozen pea”
Harry: “A frozen pea?”
Ron: “Yeah most people say that frozen peas were the smartest invention ever… fruit wise”
Harry: “Peas are a vegetable idiot”
Ron: “Hey, you say tomahto”
Harry: “Whatever… hey your dating a frozen pea!”
Ron: “You’re dating a cherry!”
Harry: “Cherries are nicer than frozen peas so ner”
Ron: “No way! The frozen pea is a legend!”
Harry: “So you’d rather eat a frozen pea than a cherry?”
Ron: “Ok you’ve got me…”
Harry: “Oh yeah! Cherries forever!”
Ron: “So what was Cho?”
Harry: “Something very juicy, that leaks to much when you eat it…”
Meanwhile Ginny and Hermione were secretly listening to Harry and Ron’s insane conversation about their girlfriends and vegetables.
Ginny: “He thinks I’m a cherry?”
Hermione: “Hey you’re lucky I’m a frozen pea!”
Ginny: “Yeah you are!”
Hermione: “Oh shut up cherry”
Ginny: “Frozen pea”
Hermione: “We shouldn’t be using their compliments as insults!”
Ginny: “Heh, well what are they then?”
Hermione: “Um… Ron’s a carrot!”
Ginny: “A carrot?”
Hermione: “Yeah he’s tall and… orange haired… red haired…”
Ginny: “If he was a carrot he’d be green haired, although he does like carrots…”
Hermione: “Exactly, so what’s Harry?”
Ginny: “Um… an aubergine!”
Hermione: “OK THEN”
Ginny: “What he’s got black hair and green eyes! Aubergines are black with green things on the top…”
Hermione: “So his hair is green…”
Ginny: “And so is Ron’s remember?”
Hermione: “Ok you win… You’re dating an aubergine!”
Ginny: “A hot aubergine! You’re dating a carrot!”
Hermione: “A hot carrot! Oh the love life of vegetables…”
Ginny: “Mmmmmm roast dinner…”
anyone else love bread sauce as much as I do? in a eat the entire jug before everyones sat at the table so no one else can have any kind of way?
