Author's note: I have been having Major writers block, and when that happens, I tend to skip ahead several months (sometimes years, Right Cassie?) , or add some random, dramatic, action-y, part. Though I try not to, I see nothing else to do. So I must decide which one to do, so I, being unable to make decisions, shall do both!!


CHAPTER FIVE: Part one; Unsuspecting Events

February 7,

I am stuck, and no one knows it. Some of my worst fears have come true. And where is Scorpius? He had told me that he would be here..that he would always find a way to never let me disappear again. And here I am, shaking so I can hardly hold this mangled quill, hungry so that I forget what having a full stomach feels like, thirsty so that my mouth feels more like sand...I know that what he promised is hard to deliver, and I don't blame him. In fact, I hope he safe in the castle..but somehow I know that he is trying to find me, and it worries me. I wonder if he is safe. I wonder if he even realized I am not there. I wonder when I shall leave this...this...cesspool.I wonder, I wonder....


Setting aside the torn, worn, and old parchment aside, I sighed to myself. Pondering how I got into such a situation. I supposed it started when my nightmares became reality...

I was sitting with my fellow Gryffindors, which was decidedly boring. No one could talk to me, or see me, but I got to sit with my house. I got to listen to people talk. I got to be normal, kinda.

That is, until my dream came to life. Two men in black suits walked over. No one blinked at them, no one even bat an eye. No one seemed to think it was un-usual for two men to walk in dressed completely in black muggle-suits. They stopped behind me, I turned around to see them better.

"Come with us," they said in unison, sending a chill down my back. Their dark sun-glasses made it impossible to tell where they were looking.

But I knew. I felt three pairs of eyes boring into me. Two pairs belonged to the strange men, while the other pair, I could tell with out looking over my shoulder, was Scorpius's.

"Me?" I asked, confused beyond belief. These men could see me?

"Bethany Sylvia Stone, please come with us," the men said at the same time.

I was freaked out now, "How can you see me? Why can't they see you? Who are you? What do you want? Where do you want to take me? When did you get here?" were the questions I wanted ask, but somehow the questions never left my mouth. Now my question to myself, "Should I go with them?"

"Come," monotoned the one on the right.

I had to ask a question, so I just plucked one that surface in the sea of questions that had become my mind, "Are you real?" Yeah, it was a pathetic question, but a very reasonable one at that.

I think I saw a grin for a half second on the face of the man on the left. "As real as you," responded the man on the left.

"Fair enough..." I looked around, finding Scorpius among the kids. I pleaded with him, "What should I do?" I asked him with my eyes.

His eyes reflected confusions and worry he began to stand, but then I was distracted by the men giving each other glances, the message was clear, I had to go now.

What was the worse that could happen if I went with them? Not like many people would miss me if something happened, well, other then Scorpius, but he would get over it eventually....right?

I stood up, they began to walk away, as did I. Only one pair of blue-green eyes were upon us as we exited the great hall.

"What do you want?" I managed to ask once we were out by the lake.

"You must he-" the man on the right was suddenly interrupted by a confused blonde haired boy.

"Bethany? What is going on here?" Scorpius Malfoy asked as soon he was in hearing shot.

The two men exchanged glances, then instead of answering to Scorpius, they turned to me. "That boy can see you?"

I rolled my eyes, "Nope. He's blind as a bat. Of course he can see me! Why else would he have been the only child watching us as we walked out of the great hall?"

The men glared at each other (Or I assume they did, it was hard to tell with the dark sunglasses on).

Scorpius repeated his earlier question, and finally there was an answer, or half of one. "We need Bethany Stone's help."

Scorpius and I blinked at each other in confusion, then Scorpius asked the obvious, "With?"

"A rescue mission," the men answered simultaneously.

"Rescue who? From who?" Scorpius asked, now the spokes person for me apparently.

They were about to answer when a crazed, female, voice rang out.

"Scorpius Orion Malfoy! My dear, dear great-nephew. How much you look like your father..."

We turned, right into the sight of a dead (Or so we thought..) women walking (or skipping more likely) up to a stunned Scorpius Malfoy.

Our jaws hung to the ground, our eyes popped from their sockets.

Bellatrix Lestrange was back from the dead. And she was standing right in front of them.

CHAPTER FIVE: Part Two; Unsuspecting Events

Of course, Bellatrix could only see one person standing if front of her.

"Bellatrix?!" Scorpius almost yelled.

Bellatrix stepped forward and slapped her hand against his mouth. "Shush boy! And it's "Aunt Bellatrix" to you."

I glared at her, instantly hating her. Hating the crazed look in her eyes, hating her mangled hair, hating the twitch in her mouth...I wanted to hit her, of course it wouldn't effect her...

"You are supposed to be dead, so I don't really have to call you anything," Scorpius responded coolly.

I saw it coming before he did, so I stopped it (well, not really, more like I jumped along for the ride..)

"NO!" I ran forward, grabbing Scorpius's arm, clinging on so hard I probably cut off his circulation. He stared at me, realizing what I was doing, his eyes widened as Bellatrix lunged forward grabbing his arm as well. Just as I saw she was going to apparate, I shoved Scorpius out of her grip.

He was left there, still gaping along with the men. I heard faintly as I was sucked away, one of the mysterious men say, "The rescue mission is for her....."

We landed heavily in Malfoy Manner, Bellatrix was stumped as to how Scorpius was not there with her. And I was stumped as to what had happened. Somehow I went from eating in the Great Hall, to sitting on the floor with a dead women in Malfoy Manner.

I was terrified, to put it bluntly. Yes, I had seen Malfoy Manner in my dreams, but I didn't actually know where it was. So I was stuck there. I was stuck and only three people knew where I was. And only one of them could be seen by other people.

Not that it mattered who know, because no one would believe him. I had disappeared two years ago, to everyone else, I was already dead.

Bellatrix was mad. She was more then mad. She was mad enough to kill. It was times like that, when I was glad that people didn't know I was in the room.

She, however, seemed to know I was in the room...

"I know your in here little girl," her crazed eyes scanned the room, looking right past me several times, "Come out and," she paused dramatically, looking only a few inches to my left, "play!" A crooked smile played on her lips. Like, like she had planned this all along...like she...like she really never wanted Scorpius. Like she wanted me this whole time. But how could she want me? She couldn't even know about me..

"You sick old witch!" I screamed, half hoping she could hear me. Half hoping she couldn't. I screamed it again, "You sick OLD WITCH!"

She didn't even blink. She did throw curses all across the room, while screaming threat's, "You don't stand a chance! Everyone thinks your dead! No one cares about you! But you could do well working for me, continuing on in the Dark Lord's work. Join us Bethany, come and help the rightful cause. You could do well for us, I even know how to reverse that curse on you. You want to be seen again, don't you? Your brother, your parents, they could all see you. Understand that you didn't abandon them..."

That made me pause. Be seen again? All I would have to do is work for Bella- WHAT AM I SAYING?! I shook the thought from my head. As much as I wanted to be heard and be seen, especially by my family, NOTHING could get me to work for Bellatrix.

"Very well then girl, you have now heard my offer. So I must hear your answer. I'll let you see that I can keep my promises.." She closed her eyes and called out, "Laudivite Sentirey Videril!" A flash of yellow light.

I winced, expecting something. But nothing happened. Nothing except, Bellatrix was staring right at me.

"What a pathetic sight..." Bellatrix murmured. "See? I can make you visible again, I can get your beloved brother to see you..I can make it happen, all you have to do is say, 'yes'."

I stared at her, then I glared at her, then I stood up in front of her. "There is something I have wanted to say to you," I told her, staring at her wild, greasy hair, "Something I'm surprised people haven't already told you," I took another step closer, so I was now right at her disgusting ear, I whispered into it, "Wash your hair, you sick old, WITCH!"

I was rewarded by the unbearable, unforgivable, pain of the Crucio curse.

Oh. My. Gosh. You did not just give us another cliffhanger did you?

Thanks guys! I'm pretty busy (Church today, then I'm getting ready to go to Haiti, PLUS my school during this..((yes, I am going to Haiti, for two weeks)) But I'll try to post before I leave! (I leave on Wednesday)

Okay, I'm working on more, but I seem to have come down with a case of Writers block. Suggestions are welcome! Please, I can fit anything in at this point, whether a purple unicorn an epic explosion....Help is welcome!

um..... I'm in complete and total shock, (psttt, it's actually spelled manor not manner ) and I'll think of a way to fit in an epic explosion (if I can't call J.J.Abrams or Michael Bay) anyway it was a really good chapter, well, I mean, it isn't good that Bellatrix is going to try and attempt to either kill Bethany or make her evil. WHERE IS SCORP? Or William, I want either one to show up and save the day (more so Scorpius then William because Scorpius is ADORABLE) (William is too, but not as much)

Anyway, off the huuuuuge subject of that thingy above.

Yes well...I'm glad you support the Epic explosion, I actually know a spot I can fit it in, but it can't be in for another couple posts! My next chappie will be in Scorpius's point of view...I still need to figure out where I'm heading with the two men showing up....

CHAPTER FIVE: Part Three; Unsuspecting Events

Scorpius's PoV

I stood there like an idiot, gaping at the spot where my dead great-aunt and invisible best friend had vanished. I whirled to face the two strange men, "Who are you? Who was she supposed to rescue? And where the heck does my great aunt fit into this equation?!"

They looked at each other, then the one on the left (I made a mental note to find out their names, if they had any) said, "The rescue mission is for her....."

"How the heck could it have been for her if she wasn't kidnapped before you got here?" I snapped at them irritably.

"We have our orders, we were just carrying them out," one of the men said.

"How do we get her back..my aunt is a murderer! She'll kill Bethany if she finds out she's there!" I yelled at them, now not caring who heard me yelling at thin air...

One of the men (I really needed to figure out their names...) said bitterly (Hey! He showed emotion), "Bellatrix knows alright. She knew along that Bethany was here. She knew that you could see her. She knew how to get her." At my blank expression the man drew a long deep sigh of frustration. "She was the cause of her disappearance in the first place!"

Again, I blinked in confusion. I must've seemed pretty dumb, but what they were saying made no sense. "How? Bethany told me that an old Witch at the train station in her first year cursed her because she bumped into her."

One of the men grumbled under their breath, I didn't know what he said, but I'm sure it wasn't nice. "Okay I'll put it slowly," the more talkative one began, "the old witch was Bellatrix, probably using Polly Juice Potion. She was intending to take her right then, but then something happened, we aren't sure what, that made Bellatrix leave."

"Why the heck would Bellatrix do that?!" I called wildly, now I was panicking, knowing that my friend was in the hands of a crazy, sadistic, murderer.

The men answered at the same time, "Because she wants to finish what You-Know-Who started."

I swayed on the spot, she wanted Bethany to...kill?! "She would never do that," I stated defensively.

The one on the right answered, "She will if she is persuaded correctly."

"How is that?"

"Being able to be seen again."

I opened my mouth, then closed it. Well, maybe he was right. I probably would have taken the deal myself. But she was different, she didn't like violence...well, actually, I wouldn't quite know, if she wanted to hit people, her hand would have gone right through them..except for me. And she only hit me once, but I deserved that... "Well how do we rescue her?" was what I asked instead.

There was silence, "We think Bellatrix took her to Malfoy Manor. You used to live there. Therefore, you know the place better then any one we could possible ask. You need to rescue her Scorpius. That and, if Bethany is still invisible, then you are the only one that could help her."

Translated, I needed to break into Malfoy Manor, and if Bethany was too beat up to do anything, it was my job to carry her out. I was non too thrilled with my assignment.

Come here Scorpy-Worpy, you need a hug *holds out arms*

Well, Bellatrix Black Lestrange, you are one weird crazy - HOW THE HECK ARE YOU STILL ALIVE YOU FREAKISH - can I have your autograph?!

Anyway, those two men should be name Tom and Bob, haha, not Tom, Bruce and Bob! Hahahahahah *laughs weirdly*
