Here is the next chapter! I hope you all enjoy!
Chapter 9:
“Hermione come on…you have to eat something,” Tonks said as she tried to persuade Hermione to eat a bit of toast.
“I’m not hungry…” Hermione sighed as she starred at her plate.
Tonks sighed and said, “Well I’m off…I have to go to the office and see if D…” Tonks looked at Hermione. “To see if anything had come up” Tonks finished hastily.
“Bye Tonks” Hermione said as Tonks walked out of the kitchen.
Harry went over to Hermione and sat down next to her.
“Hermione sitting around all day is not going to help at all,” Harry said as calmly as he could. He was tired of seeing Hermione like this…out of all the boys in the world why did she have to like Draco?
“I know that Harry!” Hermione snapped. “But for your information you did the same thing when Sirius died! Crying wasn’t going to bring him back!”
Harry, without realizing it, jumped out of his chair and snapped, “Sirius has nothing to do with this! So why don’t you be quiet!”
Hermione got up from her chair as well and stomped out of the room…
Harry sat back down and threw a glass against the wall. It smashed into little pieces.
“Hey…I don’t have much so don’t break what I have” Lupin said as he walked into the kitchen.
“Sorry…” Harry mumbled as he took out his wand.
“Hermione isn’t doing any better is she?” Lupin asked as he sat down in front of Harry.
“No…and we just got into a fight which makes matters worse…”
“What did you two fight about?”
“She brought Sirius into her depression somehow!” Harry snapped as he slammed his fist into the table. Another glass fell off and broke.
“Harry!”
“Sorry” Harry said again as he waved his wand.
“Harry I’m sorry but I have to go into the office,” Lupin said as he got up.
“Okay…can I leave the house?” Harry asked.
“Harry your of age…if you want to risk your life go ahead…even if it would be better to stay here and talk to Hermione” Lupin smiled.
“With her temper I’m already risking my life by just sitting here” Harry laughed.
“Yes well…just don’t be gone too long…” Lupin said as he grabbed his cloak and left.
Harry got up from his chair and walked outside. He decided to go to the Leaky Cauldron… he was of age after all…
Harry turned on the spot and in seconds was in the old pub. The bar tender looked up and smiled at Harry.
“Mr. Potter! Long time no see!”
“Hello Tom…um…I’ll just have a butter beer…I’m not ready for the hard stuff yet” Harry laughed.
“Coming right up sir” Tom said.
Tom gave Harry his drink and Harry paid him.
“Thanks!”
Harry went over to a table and sat down…he spotted a copy of the Daily Prophet and began to read it.
Harry had begun to read about a Death Eater sighting in Albany when someone tapped him on the shoulder.
Harry turned to see a girl no older than he was. She had breath taking beauty and long black wavy hair. Her eyes were gray and she wore a look that showed she wasn’t supposed to be talking to him. Harry could have sworn she would have looked related to Draco Malfoy if her hair was not black…she would be the first one who actually looked attractive in the Malfoy family.
“You’re Harry right?” the girl whispered.
“Yes” Harry said as he watched the girl walk over to the chair and sit down next to him.
“Hello my name is Anastasia…Anastasia Malfoy” the girl whispered as she looked over her shoulder.
“I knew it!” Harry smiled as he looked at Anastasia.
“Will you keep it down!” she snapped.
“Sorry…”
“Listen…Draco doesn’t want to do anyone any harm…so please don’t think badly of him…”
“What? How…” Harry said confused.
“Draco only joined Voldemort because he was forced to…he did it to save this girl…I don’t know who but he doesn’t want her to get hurt…”
“So Voldemort threatened Draco he would hurt Hermione if he didn’t join?” Harry said.
“Who’s Hermione?…” Anastasia asked.
“His girlfriend…”
“Oh…well yes…”
“Do you know where he is? Do you know what they are planning?” Harry said as he began to get excited. He could finally get some answers.
Anastasia looked over her shoulder and whispered, “I can’t tell you here but one thing you have to know is that Voldemort is going to attack at the Ministry…he is going to go to the Hall of Prophecies again and look for…”
“But the prophecy smashed…he won’t…” Harry interrupted.
“No they had a copy…but it was hidden. Dumbledore barely discovered it”.
“So…basically…”
“Harry they are going to attack there and you have to prevent it!” Anastasia said as she got up.
“What? Where are you going?”
“I have to go…just do what I tell you too! Please! And don’t judge Draco…he’s doing it for her.”
Anastasia ran out of the pub. Harry made to follow her but she was gone. It was weird how things happened sometimes. When you have so many questions and you think that no one has the answers someone magically appears and gives them to you.
