I feel really dumb and annoyed because I wrote the thing for everything that was going to happen in detail on a piece of paper and guess what...I cant find it so im going to have to start from scratch, hopefully I will be able to get in a post late tonight, like an hour? Im not sure, I'll try and get in in but no promises

Okay, so i've typed abit up for you all. I'll try type some more tommorow, if not then Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it and Happy New Year.

Everyone ate until their stomachs couldn’t handle anymore, and then came desert. Chocolate cakes, apple pies and fruit cakes. Ron helped himself to some chocolate cake and was halfway through eating it until he noticed something.
Harry was staring at the new headmaster, and he was staring back. Then he lifted his hand and pointed to the door.
”What’s he doing?” Ron said looking at Harry.
”I think he wants us to go to that door,” Hermione said “, yes, that’s right, look. He’s gone to the door as well.” She was right; Professor Orios had walked to the door, and stood waiting for them.
They all got up and began walking drawing the attention of everyone. “What do you think he wants?” Harry asked.
”He probably wants to talk about what happens last year,” Ron said trying to convince himself. “I mean, we haven’t done anything wrong, yet.”
As they reached the door he began walking again, to his office. Past the gargoyle statues into the staircase which lead to his office. All three of them followed, staying with Harry in case this headmaster was a fraud.
”Harry, Ron, Hermione, I’m glad that you understood my message. I wanted to talk to you all, about what you learnt last year.”
”What did we learn last year?” Harry asked feeling confused. Apart from the school work what did they learn? He wouldn’t be meaning Voldemort would he?
”The Horcruxes my dear boy, for Dumbledore left me a letter explaining everything about the situation. He specifically said that who ever became head should help you defeat them. But what I don’t understand is what are the Horcruxes.”
”What they are? Well, they’re pieces of Lord Voldemort’s soul, trapped in different objects.” Harry said feeling confident.
”You misunderstood me, what I meant to say is what are the objects?”
”Oh, well there’s a locket, which belonged to Slytherin. A cup which was Hufflepuffs, and Dumbledore said that maybe Nagini is one too. Then there is either something of Gryffindor and maybe of Ravenclaw.”
”Yes, you remember well. During the summer break, me and my team have had a special mission. To find these Horcruxes.
We are certain that no Horcrux was made relating with either Gryffindor of Ravenclaw. But we stumbled across something else. We think that Lord Voldemort created a horcrux, using his fathers’ tombstone. But we cannot be sure until we have visited the scene.”
”So why did you ask the questions,” Ron asked looking annoyed.
”To make sure that you all knew and also to inform you about what I knew. Now that we are done, I’m sure the feast has finished and the common rooms will be filling up. So, hurry along, but before you do. I want you to stay within the castle at all times unless I say otherwise; we don’t know who lurks out in the grounds.”
”Okay Professor, we won’t leave the grounds. Can we go now?” Hermione said.
”Of course you can Miss Granger, have a good night.”

That is such a Ron line Ali, I mean, I think you totally caught his character in that line... I just thought I'd point it out. Oh, and this too:

That's actually a Ron line too... not that it doesn't work for Harry too, but it really screams like something Ronald would say...

You're doing great Ali, I'm sorry to hear about your notes disappearing, I hope you do find them soon...and I hate Christmas...but I'll take your New Year's greeting and give you one from me back too.

I hope your holidays, and the new year (not that I wont see you before then I don't think) a wonderful, funfilled, exciting adventure. And Post More when you can...we understand if you don't...I mean we're all of us on holiday...

It was actually a Ron line from the start but when I re-read it I thought i would give Harry abit of dialogue.

Thanks, i dont really celebrate Christmas but i like New Year's. I've been looking even more since i posted but I still cant find them. I might just re-write everything

Typing and should be able to post later I found bits of them, so im typing them onto the pc. Another post should be on later tonight.

I found my pad so i have the bits that i lost before. This post was originally non-existant. I was going to start a new chapter but then i wrote the next post which is completely random. You might like it, you might not, but it wasn't planned. Should be on in a while

This post was going to be put earlier but i had to change my cars motor.
Now, like i said, this post is completely random. You may like it, you may not. Here goes

As they walked out of the office Ron eyed Harry.
”Do you think he’ll be any good this year?” Ron said.
”Who, Prof. Orios? Im sure he’ll be weird in some way but he seems normal so far.”

They arrived at the fat lady, but realised that they didn’t know the password. Hermione began wondering what they would do, should they go back to a teacher and ask to be let in. Just before Ron opened his mouth telling Hermione to shut up and stop worrying the portrait swung open and Professor McGonagall walked out. She slammed the portrait shut and looked at the three.
”Good evening Potter, Weasley, Granger. I suggest that you go inside and stay there until tomorrow morning. We don’t want you wondering anywhere.”
”But Professor, we were with the Headmaster,” Hermione blurted.
”So you didn’t hear what I was telling the students. No student is to go out of the castle without adult supervision, that includes you three,” She said with a slight grin. “And when you go in, you will be in for a surprise. Good Night,” she finished and walked away, looking back at them grinning.
The door was closed, how were they supposed to get in. Was this her idea of a joke?
”Professor, what’s the password?” Harry asked.
”Oh, did I forget to tell you, it must have slipped my mind. The password is Horntail, I’m sure you will be able to remember that Potter.” She started walking down the stairs, going out of sight.
”Horntail,” Hermione said, hoping that it was the real password.
”Indeed,” the fat lady said swinging open letting them in.
”What’s wrong with her?” Ron said sounding amused.
”She did seem a bit, em…Strange,” Hermione said. “She said something about a surprise, what do you think it is.”
”Maybe she’s going to stay like that for the rest of the year.” Ron said looking like he had just been force-fed lemon juice.
”Maybe, but let’s go in and see,” Harry said walking into the common room. Nothing was unusual, the regular people were sitting by the fire, and some were reading magazines. Nothing seemed strange.
”She must have been joking. I wonder what lessons we will have tomorrow. ”
”Well, there’s no Snape so it can’t be that bad,” Ron said without thinking. He looked at Harry and realised what he had said. “Im sorry Harry.”
Harry looked at Ron and weakly smiled saying “Its okay.”
”I don’t know about you boys, but I am going to go to sleep. I’ve been feeling very tired recently. Good Night,” she added and then began walking to the girls dormitory.

”Harry,” a boy shouted.
“I was looking for you. The names Thorn, Alex Thorn. Where did you go?” The first year asked.
”Erm, Harry’s tired now, talk to him later. Okay?” Ron said before Harry had to tell the kid about the meeting with the Head.
”Okay, he’s not ill is he? I know quite alot about treating ill people. I’ve seen it on television.”
”Television?-” Ron started.
”-No, I’m fine. It’s nothing that a good night rest won’t fix. Good Night Alex,” Harry said cutting in, faking a yawn to get out of the room.
”That was close,” Ron said.
”Too close, but thanks for jumping in. But now I think about it, I am feeling tired. I’ll see you tomorrow,” Harry said getting his pyjamas out.
”Night Harry,” Ron said getting changed.
Harry climbed into his bed and thought about what the headmaster had said. Riddle’s tombstone was a horcrux. This year was going to be an eventful year.

I didn't think this post was random at all...of course know I know for sure there's something weird about that Thorn kid, first year...I wonder if his name is any indication of his character? Hmm... o_O *wary*

Well, its a remote controlled car, but its quite quick. I wish i had a car, still a few years till i could get a License. And the woods bit, im confused.

The woods bit was a joke. I like in a valley, we've got nothing but flat land for miles around, there's not any large grouping of trees you could call woods, just a lot of brush...tumbleweeds, mesquite and cacti. Just watch a western and you'll see what I mean... *sighs*

But anyways...so maybe Thorn's a thorn or maybe not? You're evil Ali, and now you've got me wondering about McGonagall...Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah... I'm going to reread it again...*takes out magnifying glass* see if I can find any clues.

Well, what do thorns do? (This may have something to do with the Fic or it maybe pointless, im not evil ) And McGonagall, i'm still wondering whats wrong with her, when i find out i'll tell you.

Chapter 7 – Revival of the Giant
The next day they all woke up early and got out of the common room as quickly as possible. Alex Thorn had kept following Harry around, slightly like Colin Creevey did.

Whilst he was asleep, Harry kept dreaming about the night Dumbledore died, how he hung in the air for a few seconds before he landed. Something was unusual with that night, but Harry did not know what. The locket had been removed from Harry’s pocket the night before Hogwarts began, But he kept the notes with him, reading them often trying to understand them.

”Harry,” Hermione said waving her hands in front of his face.
”Wha- What,” said Harry jumping up.
”You were, in a trance or something, and the timetable has come. We have double Defence Against the Dark Arts and then Potions.” Ron said staring at Harry. “Are you ok?”
”Yeah, im just a bit.-”
”Harry,”
”If it’s that Alex kid then tell him im not in the mood.” Harry said looking at his timetable.
”Hello Professor Slughorn,” Hermione said making Harry look up.
”Hello Miss Granger. I hope to be seeing you three today in Potions.” Professor Slughorn said.
”Professor, I thought you said you were only staying for a year,” Ron said trying not to sound rude.
”Trying to get rid of me already, eh.” He said chuckling. “I see you’re taking after your brothers. Well, after the tragic events of last year we decided Hogwarts needs as many skilled wizards as possible.” He added and then walked off to the staff table.
”He still didn’t answer my question, why did he stay?” Ron said grinning, “I never knew he was a ‘skilled wizard.’”
”Look at the time, Defence Against the Dark Arts is starting in ten minutes, and we need to get there!” Hermione said standing up.

They all walked out of the hall and began running up the many staircases, arriving at the Dark Arts corridor. They were either really early or late because no one was stood outside waiting.

As Harry pushed the door open he realised that they were late. The students studying the Dark Arts were seated listening to the two professors. One was bigger than Hagrid, with thick black hair. He had a scar from the top of his eye straight down to his cheek. This was Professor Reid Quarterman. The other, also with black hair had a small goatee. He was the first to talk as they entered the room.
”Mr Potter, Ms Granger, Mr Weasley, please take your seats. I am Professor Sawyer,” he said pointing at the front bench.
They sat down at the bench, pulling out their books, but were stopped when the other man dropped his hand on the table.
”You won’t need your books,” Reid Quarterman said. “Today, we are going to have a practical lesson.” As he lifted his hand he noticed that he had left a mark on the table. “Oops,” he said looking at the table. He muttered an incantation and the mark was gone. “This is what you learn when you are a spy for many years,” he said in a deep voice.

During the lesson, Sawyer began telling them the spells that they would use if they ever got injured. He began with “Episkey” and went over the way it could be used a few times making it clear for them. Then he told them about reawakening the unconscious with “Enervate.” He told them the theory behind the spell before letting them do it and everyone did it right first time.
An hour had passed without anyone realising and Professor Quarterman took over the lesson. He started telling them about his history spying amongst the giants and confronting Voldemort. Sadly, Lord Voldemort escaped before he could be captured and Quarterman starting hunting down death eaters.
After he realised that time was running out he set the class homework to learn how to perform the ‘Stupefy’ spell.

Just before they were released Prof Sawyer told the class to be quiet.
”I have been speaking with the potions master, and he has agreed that he will teach you to brew the reawakening potion. I understand that some of you may not have chosen potions, but Slughorn has said that you are all welcome to attend the class. I hope you all understood the class and if you have any questions feel free to ask either professor and we will do our best to help you. Now hurry along to your next lesson, we don’t want you to be late,” he said looking in Harry’s direction.

Just as Harry was walking out, Prof Quarterman pulled Harry to aside.
”I hear that you used to have a combat group with the students, is this true?” He asked.
”You mean the DA? Yes, but I don’t think it will keep going.” Harry said, slightly disagreeing because the DA was not a combat group.
”We would love it if you could keep it going, maybe even letting us, join in, not as teachers, but help. What do you say?”
”Yeah, we’ll do it, but when do you want to start?” Harry said sounding exited that the DA was coming back.
”Forget the details, we will sort everything later, now don’t be late for Potions.” He said sounding serious.

They all walked out of the class and started walking toward the dungeons, for the ‘Slug Club’ to reunite. But this time, Harry didn’t have the Half Blood Prince’s book with him, as it was still in the Room of Requirement.
