The Last section of this chapter, even though its short

”You are probably wondering why Borgin is lying in the middle of the road. Well, let me tell you…He decided that the Dark Lord wasn’t the one he wanted to be with. He thought that he would tell the ministry some information on our status. Nott said looking at Borgin, “Fool, he thought that the Dark Lord would not find out.”
”What do you want with us then?” Ron asked.
”Nothing you blood traitor. But that wouldn’t stop us. Now you three are going to tell me the information about Hogwarts, or you will suffer. Who is the new headmaster?”
”We don’t know, please let us go,” Hermione said.
”Quiet Mudblood. Who is the new headmaster?”
Harry made eye contact with Ron and mouthed the words disarm. It seemed that Ron got the message so Harry mouthed three, two, one and they both said “Expelliarmus” as Nott flew back into the walls of Magical Menagerie.
The other Death Eaters dived in trying to attack Harry but Hermione sent a blue flame on them all as Ron did an unusual hex which made the Death Eaters turn red, whilst their arms moved very quickly in all directions. Harry sent stunners at all the ‘Eaters on the floor as he saw Tonks.
”What’s happened Harry,” Tonks said running towards him.
”He tried to attack us.” Ron said.
Tonks turned around and pointed her wand in the direction of the Leaky Cauldron as a silver four legged creature sped off.
”Are you all ok?” She asked.
”Avada Ked-,” Nott started saying.
”Stupefy,” Tonks said with a flick of her wand. He fell to the floor again.
As soon as he fell three Order members apparated next to Gringotts. It was two men Harry recognised from the advanced guard, two years ago, along with Remus Lupin. Lupin first used the full body bind curse and then tied him up saying “incarcerous.”
”All of you, go to the leaky cauldron now, we’re going home. We’ll send you whatever else you need via owl.” He added.

The walk back to Leaky Cauldron was a loud one. Many people were walking behind the group led by Lupin. Once they arrived at The Leaky Cauldron everything went quiet.
”Ron, Harry, Hermione, are you all ok?” Mrs Weasley said getting up and walking towards them.
”Yeah, we’re fine,” Ron said going red.
”Well, I think we’ve had enough action for one day, let’s go home.
Mr Weasley tapped the table with his wand as it glowed a faint blue. They all touched the table and got transported back to the Burrow.

Next to come- Some school, so secrets will be revealed!

I liked the action, and that's cool how you killed Borgin. Most people won't touch canon characters because they want to be all canon which really kills a lot of the fun in a lot of fics.



So anyways, if you're open to suggestions...then...uhm...more action. C'mon kill some more characters and have an attack at the school, just like in the books, and some Snape being mean to Harry, that's always good, especially if he's being unfair...LOL

Chapter 6- The Perfect Guard
The next few days at the Burrow went past quickly. On the final day of the holiday Mrs. Weasley had told everyone to pack their bags early, so that they could go quickly to the station.
The next day they woke early as a lot of noise came from downstairs.
Harry sat upright and looked at Ron, who had his hands over his ears.
”Morning, what’s all the noise about?” Harry said.
”Ministry, we’re getting to Kings Cross by the ministry cars so they are probably waiting for us… This is our final year, no more school after this year.” Ron said dozily.
”Well, that’s what final year normally means Ronald,” George said walking into Ron’s room.
”Thanks for reminding me, final year, maybe the final one of my life,” Harry said moodily facing the fact that he would have to duel Voldemort sometime or later.
”Sorry Harry, c’mon, lets go down and get something to eat, maybe that will cheer you up. Then we’ll need to set off to Kings Cross.” Ron said apologetically. As they walked down the stairs they noticed that a lot of people were stood still looking at Harry and Ron walking down the stairs.
”Hello,” Harry said trying to make a smile, but it looked like he had been eating something sour.
”Harry, have something to eat…There is some toast ready, eat up…Ron, get changed!” Mrs Weasley.
”But Mum-”
”No buts, get changed, we’ll be leaving in half an hour…the ministry have been kind enough to let us use some cars.” She snapped.
Harry felt sorry for Ron and got a piece of toast and walked up the stairs with Ron.

They all got ready and were in the cars after 20 minutes. Hermione, Ginny and Tonks were in one car and Harry, Ron and Mr. Weasley were in the other followed by the twins and a number of Aurors.
Kings Cross Station was packed and moving was hard, especially in the groups they had to stick with. They arrived at Platform 9 ¾ and Lupin had a word with the trio.
”If any of you get in any danger I want you to contact me as soon as possible, okay?”
”Sure, now we really to get on the train before it leaves.” They walked onto the train and found a empty compartment. They all sat together because Ron and Hermione were not prefects anymore. There was no news on the head boy situation but Bill was saying that the head boy and girl would be announced after the sorting by the new headmaster.

The train ride was uneventful, apart from the fact that Aurors were patrolling the aisles, just in case of any attack.
As darkness filled the sky, the familiar scenery of Hogwarts came into view, with the lake and forest. Strangely enough, a red light was glowing at the castle entrance. Everyone got of at Hogsmeade Station and met the usual sound of Hagrid shouting “Firs’ Years, come this way.” He smiled at Harry as they walked past. They got on the horseless carriages and were at the Hogwarts grounds in no time. Right now, Harry knew what Hagrid what happy about. One at each gate, standing tall, they were the perfect guards.

So...hmm...I just wrote this up so, i d'no weather its good or not, but seeing as its 12.40 AM my head is spinning and im going to sleep. Hope ya like.

ooohhhhhh this is getting interesting. could u plzz try to keep up more with the emotions and thoughts. like harry ought hav atleast said hi to hagrid.and the carriages are no more horseles,remember??? just friendly advice.

It's not an evil cliffie. As a matter of fact I think I know why Hagrid's happy too, but I don't want to spoil it, or worse...look like an idiot for guessing wrong. Well written Ali, but then again your story always is.

Auror's everywhere. I wonder what that means for everyone. Trouble looming ahead no doubt. Mwahahahahahahahaha *remembers the war* On second thought... *worries*

I know i haven't posted in while, Im sorry, i have no excuse. But, i have a post, so yeah, its coming up.

They were Dragons, but not any dragons. There was a Peruvian Vipertooth dragon stood at every entrance to the castle. Fire was being breathed into the skies. The smooth scales shined in the moonlight as the students walked past.
”Whoa, well, Hagrid is going to enjoy this year,” Ron said with a bit of fear in his voice. ”What if it eats someone?”
”Ronald, I’m sure these dragons are trained,” Hermione said trying to assure Ron that they wouldn’t be eaten. “However, this breed of dragon certainly has a liking to human blood.” She added smiling. “But lets go into the hall, sorting will be about to start.” Hermione gestured to the others as she began walking but Hagrid appeared.
”Hagrid,” Harry shouted.
”Hullo Harry, Ron, Hermione. How are yeh?”
”Great,” they said. “Was this your idea?” Ron asked.
Hagrid looked at Ron and chuckled. “I mighta said somethin’, but Charlie helped. They came here with a violent temper, tried eating me. After Charlie was done with them they were as kind as Norbert.” Norbert was Hagrid’s previous dragon, and he was not kind. “Now you’ll need to go into the hall, Professor Orios wants a word with you all.”
”Who’s he?” Harry asked.
”Oh boy,” Hagrid said going red. “I wasn’t supposed to tell you his name. Go on then, he’ll be waiting.”

They walked to the gates following the line of people. As they entered the castle, a few new faces were walking around.
As Harry walked into the great hall he noticed three new men sat on the staff table, one of them being very big. As Harry took a seat on the Gryffindor table someone shouted “It’s him, Harry Potter.”
Harry turned around looking at the person who said it. It seemed to be a first year, but no first years were supposed to be in yet. They saw that Harry was looking at them and began waving madly. Harry smiled and turned around feeling strange. He had forgotten that he was the child that everyone knew about. For once he felt normal.

The man sat at the staff table wearing glasses stood up as the final students entered.
”Welcome everyone, to another year of Hogwarts. I am Professor Fide Orios, the new headmaster.
We have three new staff this year, including me. This year we will have two Defence Against the Dark Arts teachers.
First, Professor Sollers Sawyer will be your teacher who will tell you everything about the theory behind Dark arts, as well as teaching you new spells. Professor Reid Quarterman will have practical lessons, practicing spells for your safety. I hope that you treat these two magnificent men well; they have been through a lot in their lives, at such young ages.”

”As you have all noticed, dragons have been placed at every entrance. They may not look vicious, but I assure you that they are. So, for your safety, don’t get in there ways.”
He began looking at a few Hufflepuffs talking to each other. “So, I hear you ask who I am? I have been an Auror for 5 years and I am the chief of all Aurors. My partners will be patrolling the castle, inside and out. And now, enough of the boring talk let the sorting begin.

Professor McGonagall walked into the hall, carrying an old hat, with a line of scared looking first years behind her. She placed the hat on a stool and said clearly, “When I call your name you will come and put the hat on. When the hat says your house you will sit at the correct table. Ainge, Sam.” A boy walked up to the hat trembling. As the hat touched his head it shouted “Ravenclaw.” Everyone began clapping hard. The next girl was sorted in Hufflepuff, then Slytherin. Two boys were put into Hufflepuff and two girls and a boy were put into Gryffindor. One of the last to be sorted was “Thorn, Alex.” As his name was called, everyone looked at the group of unsorted students as they all looked at each other. A person seemed to be missing.
Professor McGonagall looked at Hagrid, and he understood. As he stood up to search for the child, a boy walked between the tables up to the stage.
”Im sorry Professor, I didn’t know. I came in from the start at sat over there. Please don’t send me home.” The boy who waved at Harry said.
”Don’t worry, as long as you’re safe,” Professor McGonagall said, looking forgiving. The boy was sorted into Gryffindor and sat near Harry.

As the sorting came to a close, Professor Orios stood up again.
”Magnificent sorting, it’s been 19 years since I were sorted. I enjoyed it as you all will this year. I can officially welcome you all, let the feast begin.”
He waved his hands and food appeared everywhere. Chicken, potatoes, everything you could think of was on the table.

Hmm...I dunno, is it any good?

I'm always late...*sighs and looks at Draco's Gurl* and I'm always right too. LoL did you guess dragons as well? When Hagrid said that he liked it, I knew immediately.

Are they canon Ali? I've only read Newt Scarmander's book once, and it really wasn't that interesting...except the things Ron and Harry wrote back and forth to each other...LOL too cute, but that sounds like a mean dragon and speaking of mean Hermione should not have been picking on my poor Ronniekins...LOL

This post was brilliant, I'm kind of glad you're introducing new characters, that is very cool, just make sure you take time to get to introduce them more in depth and we get to know them...and that kid that sat next to Harry...hmm...interesting...or am I reading too much into this? No don't answer that. *Ottery's theory* The kid is an assassin for Voldemort.

That's just a theory I'm not saying I'm right...LOL

If I hit it on the nose let me know Ali so I don't ruin it...I'll edit it out...

Anyways, I think you were a bit more descriptive in this post...of course that could just be me...but you kept up the dialogue and that's good too, it's what interesting in the story anyways. Loving it, of course...I don't know what to think of this new headmaster...but I'm wary. Post more Ali, when you can. Sorry I'm late too...LOL :litebulb:

Yup. I got the book and started looking for weird creatures, im gunna try to put loads of weird creatures in.
I havn't seen King Kong yet, i might be seeing it tommorow, im not sure.

I got the idea for 2 dada teachers from my history class dont ask how History is the same as DADA
The dragon bit was just random and i thought i would put it in, but they are not going to be as annoying the dementors.
