Chapter 3 All you Do
Cedric’s Point of View
Was I still dreaming? Was I still even alive? Was I dead? I felt myself open my eyes and I was greeted with angry blackness. I turned my head to the felt and right slowly breathing deeply taking in my surroundings again through my ears. I felt warmer. Had Hermione put on another blanket? The bandages on my chest felt *****ly and my bare arms were freezing. My legs were covered in hospital pants. I had little time to think before I heard the door slam and voices.
“How could he have lived?” It was Cho Chang! I anted to smile at her and have her reach down and hold me close.
“I don’t know Cho,” Hermione said back breathlessly. “Why are you here?”
“I had to let someone know… that I couldn’t be with him anymore, so that I could have a clear conscience and let it go and move on.”
“Why do you want to leave him?” Hermione bellowed. “He needs you!”
“I need someone who can love me! He can’t love me like this!” I felt my heart snap. Everything inside me was broken. Cho, the only girl I had ever really come close to loving … I wasn’t good enough now.
“I can’t be with a boy who’s disabled Hermione. It wouldn’t work. I need more than that.” I felt the disgust in her voice, and I felt like a weak petty excuse of a man knowing I was now a ‘that’ in her eyes. Hermione was more furious than I was broken hearted. But, then again, if she really was truly that heartless, then I guess I never really would want to be my girl.
“He just heard every word you said.” I heard Cho gasp and could feel her cheeks flush in embarrassment.
“WHAT?”
“He’s not deaf Cho, he just heard every word you just said. You aren’t worthy of him! GET OUT!” I heard the door slam loudly and I heard Hermione stamp the floor and say
“WHY CAN’T EVERYTHING BE ALRIGHT FOR ONCE! WHY ME? WHY ME?”
I wanted to get up and rush over to her and hold her while she cried, but I couldn’t. I felt tears leave my blind eyes.
WE sobbed together, but we were completely alone.

Wow I had always wanted to read a story about Cedric never dying since I totally love him (what girl doesnt?)and this one is really good.I can't believe Cho would do that to Cedric! She should be happy hes alive even if hes blind and cant talk! Never read anything like this its amazing, Keep Up The Good Work!!!! PAMS PAMS PAMS!

Chapter 4: starting to fulfill a promise made.
A few weeks later, still hurt by Cho's remarks about him, Cedric carried on with life. Struggling with learning from his carer. Still not being able to see, he was very, very slowly getting his speech back, and trying to move, but still not being able to much. He sighed in frustration of getting his bones to work, thinking that his predicament was unfair.
"Ced. I know you can do this. I know it's difficult." Hermione said, holding his hands, willing him to try and stand.
"It's not fair 'Mione. I can't do it." Cedric told her.
"Yes you can." Hermione wrapped an arms around his waist and with all her strength and his, she gently willed him to stand up.
Cedric moved one leg wobbly in front of the other as Hermione slowly walked with him.
"It's ok, Ced. Just try. I won't let you fall." she promised, silently hoping he wouldn't fall, for she knew full well that if he should fall, he'd be taking her to the floor with him.
Her words boosted Cedric's confidence, and he confidentally moved a bit away from her so he could try on his own, but still keeping her in close contact. He couldn't see, so he had to feel his way around, Hermione steering him. He walked slowly to a near by table, Hermione at close aid.
"It's too hard." Cedric said to her.
"You're trying to be a bit more confident than you can handle. Take it one bit at a time." Hermione said, looking at him sympathetically.
He looked at her, his vision blurry, but still in the dark blindness.
Hermione felt him wrap his arms around her the best he could, and she hugged him back.
"You'll get there, my love. You'll get there." she whispered, brushing her fingers through his soft hair.
