Chapter 13: Helping him.
Christmas came and went, and soon it was the beginning of February.
‘Mione I don’t think it’ll work.’
“Why not, Cedric?” she asked gently. “We’ve done it before, come on love.” She added, hugging him gently.
She gently and slowly let him go and stepped back enough to give him a bit of room to stand and she bumped into someone. She turned around to see who it was.
“Harry, didn’t anyone tell you NOT to creep up on people?” she asked jokingly, punching him playfully in the arm.
“Yes, but I’ve had a good teacher telling me to creep up on people.” He said, poking her.
She giggled. “I do not tell you to do that!”
‘Mione, can we start now?’ Cedric asked in her mind. Hermione heard the amusement in his voice.
“Yeah ok, let’s go.” She said and with Harry’s help, gently lifted him up so he was standing on his feet.
As the two teenagers slowly moved, Cedric started shuffling his feet gently and stumbling along the way from one end of the common room to the other.
‘I feel like I’m a baby again’ Cedric whined to Hermione in her mind.
“That’s because you have no choice that to become one again for the third time in your life.”” She giggled.
Harry looked on in confusion.
“He just said he feels like a baby.” Hermione said, still giggling.
“We have to treat you like one unfortunately, Ced mate.” Harry grinned. “You’d better make it up to my friend once we’re done.” He added jokingly.
‘I will, don’t worry.’ Cedric said to Hermione.
“What did he say?” Harry asked, seeing Hermione start giggling again.
“He said he will.” She whispered.

"H-Hermione..." Cedric breathed silently.
Hermione was shocked. "Harry... He spoke." she said happily
"I heard." Harry grinned at his friend's shocked appearance.
Over the next three weeks turning into Spring, Cedric had progressed and was slowly walking on his own. He was verablly speaking now, though still having trouble with certain words.
Another few days later, he was able to see again, with the help of Harry's 'Lumos' charm.
Harry, Ron and Hermione walked down to the Great Hall for dinner after a tiring lesson of History of Magic with Professor Binns and the Ravenclaws and a harsh two hours of Potions with Professor Snape and the Slytherins.
"Wonder where Cedric is?" Hermione asked, scouring the Hall for sign of him.
"By the lake, Mudblood. Just saw him walk dow there with that Chang girl." Draco drawled as he sat down next to Ginny, drawing a protective arm around her waist. She nudged him in the ribs, but smiled lovingly at him.
"Why? After she dumped him because he was disabled. What dirty rotten trick is that girplaying now?!"
"Mione calm down." Ron said.
She greatfully took a few deep breaths to calm herself down. "How can I calm down properly though Ron? She's playing with his emotions." she whispered.
Ron and Harry looked at each other and said in unison: "We'll be right back." and took off towards the lake.
They've probably gone to stop her from getting any further to Cedric's heart." Ginny said.
Hermione looked on in confusion and worry.
Moments later, Ron, Cedric & Harry walked into the Great Hall, followed by a sour looking Cho Chang.
Cho walked to the Ravenclaw Table and sat next to her best friend, Marietta Edgecombe.
"Granger girl sent her precious Potter and Weasley to backfire my plan to win MY Cedric back Mari. I'll get my revenge." she whispered to her friend evilly and glared at Hermione and Cedric, who had just sat beside her, Harry and Ron sat either side of the pair.

Chapter 14: Cho's revenge.
It had been a further two months, in the month of May, since Cho's encounter with two, irritated members of the Golden Trio. She had been plotting her revenge ever since.
"Mari. I think I've come up with a plan." she told her friend in a hushed whisper, as they advanced to the Paddock, for Care of Magical Creatures.
"What's the plan?" Mat=rietta asked.
"Girls, whatever you have to talk aboutm discuss it after class." Hagrid said.
"Sorry professor." the Ravencalw girls said.
**** In the castle****
"Cedric, go to class." Hermione giggled.
"Come on, it's been over 4 months since I've seen or spent time properly with my girlfriend." he pouted.
"Cedric." she said in a playful, warning tone.
"No. Can't make me!" he said childishly.
"Mr Diggory get to the dungeons for class." came the deep, drawling voice of Snape. "Ah. Miss Granger. Detention and 50 points from Gryffindor for trying to get a student to skip class." With a swish of his billowing cloak Snape stalked off to the dungeons.
Hermione and Cedric glared after the greasy haired older man.
"See you after transfiguration." Hermione said, kissing him.
"No chance it'll be lunch I'll next see you. Double potions then Divination straight after. I don't get a break like you do. It's not like other lessons either." he told her.
Hermione nodded and the two went their seperate ways to class.
Cedric ran into the Potions class muttering a sorry for being late to Snape.
"Sit down, Diggory. And that's 60 points from Hufflepuff for lateness and tardiness. And also 80 points from Hufflepuff for attempting to skip class for the 3rd time. If this happens again you will be in detention." Snape growled. "Sit down now! And take down the notes on the board or it's detention for the rest of the year!"
Cedric quickly sat down beside his best friends, Michael and Richard. Their other friend Pete was sitting at the front, looking angry.
"What's Pete done?" Cedric whispered to his friends as he copied the notes.
"Swore at Flint and started fighting with him because he tried to curse you at breakfast. He confronted the sly snake just moments before you ran in here." Michael told him.
"He can't help but swear and go a bit mad. He's got Tourettes Syndrome. And there probably isn't a cure for it. You've got to live with it." Cedric said, looking sypathetically to Pete. He'd always told his friends not to treat him differently. So they treated him like a normal person, as he wanted, and not someone who's got a disability.
"Yeah, Snape knows that and he's using Pete's disability to his advantage. and it's cruel." Richard said.
"Yurtseven, Diggory, Stratter. Detention for talking in class." Snape drawled evilly.
