I'm sorry it took me so long but my exams start next week so I'm studying like crazy....... Thanks for posting and please post to tell me what you think about this next part, though the most interesting parts are still lying ahead . One more thing, I know I said that this story will end shortly but it may takes more than I had anticipated, that's okay, right?

Chapter 23 cont.

"Well, what's wrong with him?" Roxanne asked anxiously.
"He hit his head", Albus replied pointing at the bloody spot among his uncle's hair.
"Yeah and his left leg and his nose seem to be broken", James added still kneeling beside Ron.
"But things could be worse; there could be internal bleeding or something like that", Scorpius said shrugging only to cause Roxanne to start crying and to receive angry looks from both James and Albus.
"Great Scorps, just great", James sighed as he tried to console his cousin.
Suddenly quick steps and strained voices echoed across the hallway.
"Death Eaters?" Albus asked terrified as James jumped up and pulled his wand out.
But it wasn't the Death Eaters. When the aurors reached them the kids were really relieved and Roxanne stopped crying. James and Scorpius knew the auror that was leading this group; it was the auror to whom they had testified everything that had happened in Austria.
"You're Harry's son, right?" the auror asked James, who was the first to run towards them. "I thought you were at the hospital".
"What? Oh, right! I was but obviously I'm back now..."
"Anyway...is Harry here too?"
"Yeah", the nodded. "Listen..."
"Did you set the alarm?"
"No, but..."
"Sorry kid but we have to keep going then. We'll come back for you when..."
"No, wait! My uncle! Someone attacked him", James yelled grabbing his arm and pulling him closer in order to see Ron's body lying on the floor.
"Damn!" the auror spitted and then waved at two of the aurors behind him. "There's a man down. Take care of him and the kids. The rest of you follow me!"

It took Harry about one minute to comprehend exactly what Artemis had planned for his wife and about one second to lose control and forget all about the fact that they were outnumbered.
He raised his wand and attacked Artemis before the Death Eaters could stop him. Artemis used a shielding spell but the force of Harry's spell was strong enough for her to get thrown back and against the opposite wall. In what seemed like a split of a second the remaining Death Eaters started sending curses against him.
Harry jumped to the side to avoid a red flash and conjured a curse himself. Matthias started fighting again too and together they managed to get one more Death Eater out of the way but then Artemis, who had gotten up again, aimed a curse at Harry. Harry avoided it and forgetting about the Death Eaters, he focused on her. Matthias took on the Death Eaters and Artemis stepped forward to face Harry.
Fighting with her was even harder than he had imagined it. She was young but she seemed more experienced than the majority of aurors Harry knew. She had a counter spell for every curse, incantation and spell Harry was casting against her and soon the room was almost destroyed by the rebounding curses. She shielded herself from one more curse and then shot a spell at the window behind Harry. The glass flew in the air like knives, all pointing at Harry. He managed to shield himself at the last moment but some of the glass cut his skin. He didn't even wince; instead he turned and send another spell against Artemis so fast that she didn't expect it, making her fell back again shielding herself at the last second. She was as good as he was.
"Harry", Matthias shouted. "Harry, take the book and go!"
"No" Harry refused as Artemis was getting on her feet again.
"Harry, you said it yourself! Voldemort cannot come back!" Matthias yelled and the name worked like a jolt to Harry. "I'll hold them back! Take the book and go!"
Harry looked at Artemis again and then back at Matthias. He couldn't make up his mind.
"Harry, the aurors will come shortly, they can't find you here! Go now!" Matthias exclaimed as he aimed a curse at Artemis, trying to stop her from attacking Harry again.
Harry took a deep breath and then run at the door. No one managed to stop him because Matthias was in fact holding them back, at least for now. Harry glanced behind and for a fraction of a second his eyes met Matthias' and he hoped that the old man understood that he was forgiving him.
He run across the hallway as fast as he cold only to see the aurors climbing the stairs. He fell back; Matthias was right, they shouldn't see him but he couldn't turn back either.

The killing curse coming from Artemis' wand hit Matthias right on the chest. The old man fell dead on the floor the next moment. Artemis grunted angrily.
"Should we go after Potter?" said one of the two remaining Death Eaters; Matthias had managed to take one more down before he died.
"No, the aurors are coming and he'll probably be already too far away".
"But he has the book", the other Death Eater said.
"Yes, I know genius", she said ironically. "I was there, I saw him taking it!"
"So, what do we do now?"
"Don't worry", she sighed. "We'll get the book back soon".
"So, we go help Dolohov and the others?"
"No", she said and then smirked and her eyes sparkled. "Let them prove that they can make it without my help. I think I'm gonna make a visit to the family. Come on, let's go".

Harry was waiting hidden behind a wall for the aurors to leave and then run down the stairs. As he reached the lower floor fear washed over him once again. What had happened to Ron? Was that evil woman telling the truth?
"Dad!"
Harry froze when he heard Albus calling him from across the hallway and then he run there. Albus, James, Roxanne, the Malfoy kid and two aurors were there and...
"Ron!"
Harry fell on his knees next to his best friend's body and grabbed his wrist hurriedly.
"He's alive", James said but Harry ignored him; he wanted to find Ron's pulse by his own to make sure. When he did, relief overwhelmed him. He sighed and then realised that there were two aurors there with them; so much for not knowing he was there.
"What's wrong with him?" Harry asked them but it was James who answered him.
"His leg is broken but they can't fix it from here; they fixed his nose and his head though...but he still hasn't woken up".
"What are you doing here?" Harry asked.
"What...? Um...we just..."
"Never mind", Harry said quickly. "Anderson, Jones. I want you to join your colleagues, go to the room we keep the book", he said to the two aurors and they nodded and followed his orders. When they were gone Harry turned to the kids. "Okay, listen..."
"Do you know you're bleeding?" James interrupted him pointing at the cuts on his father's face. "What happened? Did you get the book?"
"We don't have time now, James", Harry said and the boy believed that to be true since his father used his full name to call him; something that only happened on emergencies. "Listen, I want you, Albus and Roxanne to take your uncle to Hermione. I'll go find your mother and Lilly and meet you there, okay? I need to get you all out of here".
Then without waiting for them to agree with him he turned his earphone on to talk to Hermione.
"Hermione? Hermione, can you hear me?"
"Harry!" hermione exclaimed loudly in his eardrum. "Where the hell have you been? I'm going crazy here! Where's Ron? Why isn't he answering his earphone?"
"Ron was attacked by Death Eaters".
"WHAT?"
"Calm down, he's gonna be okay", Harry said quickly. "Hermione, I want you to listen to me carefully. Death Eaters have penetrated the Ministry. I got the book but there's something that I..."
"Harry, are you serious?"
"Yes...Hermione, I learnt who the traitor was", Harry said slowly. Hermione gasped as the kids turned to look at him. "It was...it was Matthias".
"WHAT?" Hermione and James yelled together.
"I know, I know", Harry said. "I don't think he wanted to...never mind now... Hermione, Artemis is involved too".
"Artemis?"
"Yeah, she's Bellatrix's daughter".
"Bellatrix's? You mean like Lestrange's?"
"Yeah, you know anyone else I could be referring to?" Harry said impatienlty. "Hermione, she is Apostollo. Artemis is. She's behind everything".
"What? It can't be. Harry, I checked her file...if her surname was Lestrange don't you think I would have noticed?" Hermione said confused.
"Hermione, all of those years no one knew the existence of Bellatrix's child. I imagine she kept it a secret from everyone, probably giving her daughter a fake surname and a fake backround; something Artemis used to get into the Ministry".
"I can't believe this".
"Okay, look, I got the book but there's something I didn't see coming. She wants Ginny".
"What do you mean she wants Ginny?" Hermione asked dazzled by all the information. "Like a lesbian kind of thing?"
"What? No! Hermione, will you please focus? She's after her! She wants to kill Ginny in order to get revenge from Molly for killing her mother!"
Albus gasped hearing this, Roxanne brought her hands at her mouth and James had frozen at the spot looking straight at his father.
"Okay, I gotta ask. Are you kidding me?"
"No", Harry said tiredly. "Listen, Hermione, I need to go and get Ginny before Artemis gets anywhere near her. James and the others will come to you with Ron, okay? Go straight to the hospital and we'll meet you there".
"Are you sure? Maybe I should..."
"No, do as I said", Harry said strictly. "Okay, kids?" he added looking at them. Albus and Roxanne nodded and got up but James remained motionless.
"It was Matthias?" he whispered finally. "He...he..."
"James..."
"I thought he was on our side".
"He's holding off a bunch of Death Eaters and Artemis right now; all to help me get away with the book", Harry said.
"He gave me to the Death Eaters and you're defending him?"
"Jamie, please, please, can we talk and argue if you want about it later? When your mother's life won't be in danger?" Harry pleaded. The boy bit his lips holding back the retort that rose to his mouth and nodded, getting up as well.
"Okay", he said and Harry exhaled and then casted a quick spell to make Ron's body levitate.
"I know you're not supposed to do magic outside from school but..."
"I'm sure this will count as a special situation", Roxanne said.
"What about Scorpius?" Albus asked and Harry turned to the boy, who shrugged.
"Don't worry about me. I'll just go find my dad".
"Are you sure you're gonna be okay by your own?" Harry asked him torn between his urge to get to Ginny as fast as he could and not to leave the boy unprotected.
"Yeah, I'll be fine", the boy shrugged.

I usually wait until I get replies from everyone until I post the next part but I just couldn't keep myself from posting this lol! So please read it and don't hate me, please don't hate me! By the way I think that this next chapter is as bad as the one where Harry found James almost dead, but I wanted to show you guys just how disturbed Artemis really is ...Please tell me what you think!

Chapter 24

When the auror came running down the stairs screaming that someone was dead and that the book was stolen, the hall still hadn't emptied and Ginny was still there, clutching Lilly's hand tightly. In spite of all the fuss everyone could hear him. A red flash of light though hit him right on the chest and the man fell on the ground silenced, as the fight between the aurors and the Death Eaters kept going.
The crowd started moving towards the exits again but Ginny was frozen, petrified actually. Someone, a man, a man the auror knew obviously was dead and the book was stolen. Stolen by whom? And who had died? Who had died?
"Mum", Lilly spoke after a few moments. "Mum, it's not daddy, right?"
"No, honey, I'm sure daddy will be fine", Ginny responded automatically. He had to be fine, she couldn't duel with the alternative.
As she stood there, not so sure what to do now, someone pushed her out of the way.
"Hey..." she started irritated. "Malfoy?"
"What?" the man said as he tried to break through the crowd that still moved towards the doors. "Oh, look, it's the crazy hormonal Mrs. Potter again!"
"Yeah, nice to see you to!" she grunted. "What are you doing?"
"Um...getting the hell out of here before they notice me?"
"You do realize you're going the wrong way?"
"This might shock you, but I'm not stupid! I'm looking for Scorpius. I brought him with me tonight but now I can't..."
"Last time I saw him he was backstage with my brothers", Lilly interrupted him. Malfoy exhaled from his nose.
"That kid with his irrational friendships..." he muttered under his breath and without thanking Lilly, he left.
Ginny rolled her eyes.
"That was rude", Lilly said.
"That was Malfoy", Ginny shrugged. "Oh, for God's sake! Will you people get out of my way? she added furiously as she got into the crowd again.

"Scorpius! Scorpius!" Draco yelled when he made it backstage, but there was no sign of his son. "Where the hell has that kid disappeared to again?" he asked himself exasperated.
He looked around for a while but there was no use, it was obvious that the boy wasn't there. He exhaled angrily again; of course, only Scorpius could go and get lost when Death Eaters had invaded the Ministry. Honestly sometimes he actually wondered what that boy had in his head, because it wasn't brains, sure thing.
He shook his head and turned to leave but he came face to face with a bunch of Death Eaters that blocked his way. He took some steps back and reached for his wand but a flash of light came from somewhere behind him and his wand disappeared. He turned and saw a woman moving his way with his wand in her hands.
"Hello, Mister Malfoy", she said and when she stepped into the light, Draco recognized her. She was that girl he had met at Potter's house, the one that seemed oddly familiar. He couldn't think of anything else though because the next moment she hit him with a spell and he fell into darkness.

Draco started coming around after a while. Everything was spinning around him and his entire body ached. When some of the dizziness left him, he realized he was tied up on a chair in the center of the room. He looked around. He was in a dark room with little light and he could only imagine that he was in one of the cells in the Ministry. Two Death Eaters he didn't know were at the door with their wands in their hands and another one, still wearing his mask was standing in the opposite corner next to that strange, blonde woman.
"Well, well, look who finally woke up", she said smiling at him.
There was something in that smile that made it cruel and nasty, yet it seemed oddly familiar to him.
He tried to analyze the situation. He had gotten caught by the Death Eaters obviously, but what was that woman's part in all of these? He thought she was an auror but she appeared to be working with the Death Eaters. Did that mean that she was the infamous traitor they were all looking for? And why did she seem familiar?
"Who are you?" he asked.
"Straight to the subject", she smiled with her cruel smile. "Who am I? Well, the last time we met I was Artemis Santos, the devoted auror; my Death Eaters friends though like to refer to me as Apostollo".
"You? You are Apostollo?" Draco asked with disbelief.
"Add it up, it all spells 'duh'", she responded still grinning. Draco had started finding that smile irritating.
"And what do you want from me?" he asked her.
"Hmm, I just wanted to meet you. See, my real last name isn't Santos", she said shrugging.
"What are you...? Huh...?"
"Tell me Draco, how much do you know about your aunt Bellatrix?" she asked him.
Draco looked at her puzzled. Bellatrix? Where the hell did Bellatrix fit in all of this madness?
"I don't..."
"Did you know she had a child?" she asked, her eyes sparkling. Draco froze completely.
"Oh my God", he muttered after making all the connections. That was why she seemed so familiar, because she was familiar. She was...his cousin.
"Oh, so you did know!" she said almost chuckling with relish.
"I don't...I can't believe this. Where have you been all these years?" he asked.
"Why did you ever go looking for me?" she whispered with a hollow voice.
"I wasn't sure you existed", Draco replied. "My mother had told me that..."
"Your mother!" she repeated angrily stopping him. "Your mother! Wasn't she the one that lied to the Dark Lord about Potter being dead and betrayed us all?"
"She just wanted to save me", he said.
"Well, then too bad she isn't alive anymore to save you now", Artemis smiled showing her teeth like some kind of a hyena.
"What do you want?"
"Is revenge enough for you or do you want me to make up more reasons?"
"Neither me nor my mother ever did anything to harm you", he said.
"You never did anything to help me", she said with a hard expression upon her face. "Yaxley!" she ordered then the man next to her, who walked forward and for a moment Draco thought that he was going to hit him but he walked pass him and disappeared to the side of the room the wasn't lighten. "I want you to tell me where the book from Mexico is", Artemis added.
"The book from where? I don't know what you're talking about", Draco said confused.
"I see", she said and then sighed. She walked forward too until she reached him. She turned his chair with her wand so he would be facing the dark side of the room. "Yaxley", she said again and with a flash of light the dark side was lighten.
Right opposite Draco, tied up in a chair like he was, gagged and unconscious was...
"Scorpius!" Draco breathed.
Artemis laughed again and walked over to the boy, placing her hand on his shoulder.
"So since I'm Bellatrix Lestrange's daughter that makes me...what? Your son's aunt, right?" she asked him.
"What did you do to him? Why is he unconscious?" Draco asked her, keeping his voice calm.
"Oh, just a sleeping spell", Artemis shrugged.
"How did you got him?"
"Well, I guess Potter took his kids and left the Ministry and the boy was just wandering around alone...not so hard to get actually", Artemis responded and Draco grunted. "Now, my dear cousin, will you please tell me where the book is?"
"I don't know anything about any book", Draco replied shaking his head.
"Hmm, see how we're gonna play it", she smiled. "First I'm gonna wake him up, because it will be more fun if he's awaken".
And with that she hit the top of Scorpius' head with the tip of her wand. The boy stirred at once and looked around. He was gagged with a cloth, so he only made a hollow sound when he saw his father tied up as he was.
"Scorpius, it's gonna be okay", Draco said looking at his son. "I don't know anything about any book; I'm telling you the truth".
"Ha! The truth? That's funny, why do I think you're lying?" she asked him ironicaly. "So, now that my dear, sweet nephew is awake", she continued stroking Scorpius' hair, "see how we're gonna continue. I'm gonna count to ten and if you don't tell me where the book is, I'm gonna kill your son".
Scorpius groaned as she pulled his head back from the hair.
"I don't know anything!" Draco exclaimed.
She just smirked and Yaxley walked forward and placed a sharp knife in her hands.
"Avanda Kedavra is a nice and useful curse in a battle but not in something like this. I want you to see your son's blood", she smiled slowly making a cut at the boy's cheek.
"Don't do that!" Draco yelled as Scorpius moaned. "I don't know!"
"One", Artemis started counting.
"I don't know! I don't know, I swear!"
"Two".
"I don't know what you want but I can look for it! I can find it for you!" Draco said trying to buy some time.
"Three".
"Look, I can make Potter trust me, I can. I can get Potter for you!"
"Four", Artemis continued counting.
"Don't hurt him", Draco pleaded. "I don't know anything, I swear! Please, Artemis, please! We're family!"
But that was the wrong thing to say. Artemis' eyes sparkled.
"Do you think I'm fooling around? I really am going to kill him!" she yelled and then to confirm her words she raised the hand with the knife and before Draco could say anything more, she stabbed Scorpius' leg. The boy groaned harder than before as tears of pain started falling from his eyes the same time blood started spilling from his wound.
"You b****!" Draco screamed. "He's your nephew! He's fourteen years old!"
"Five".
"Scorpius, look at me, look at me", Draco said and the boy raised his head to look at him. Draco fixed his eyes on his son's. "It's gonna be okay, you're gonna be okay. I'm gonna get you out of here. You believe me?"
The boy nodded shakily.
"Six".
"I'm telling you that I don't know anything! Will you stop this madness?" Draco yelled at the woman again. "Listen to me, don't hurt my son. Let him go and I'll stay and help you get that f***ing book!"
"Seven".
"Please, Artemis! Please! I don't know anything about any book! Let my son go!"
"Eight".
"Stop! Stop counting, damn it! I'm telling you I don't know anything! Don't you dare touch my son!"
"Nine".
"No, no, please", Draco pleaded, tears falling from his own eyes now. The boy moaned again. "Scorpius, it's gonna be okay. She's not gonna do it. Artemis, please! Please, I'll do whatever you want! Just let Scorpius go!"
"You know, I never expected to say that, but I guess I am sorry", Artemis smirked. "After all he's such a cute, little boy".
"I don't know what book you're talking about! PLEASE! I'll join the Death Eaters again if you want me to! Don't hurt Scorpius!"
"Ten", Artemis said and with that she cut the boy's throat.

When Yaxley closed the door behind him, leaving Draco staring frozen at his son's bloody corpse tied up on that chair, he turned to Artemis.
"I don't think he knew anything about the book", he said to her.
"I never thought he did", she replied as she cleaned the blood from her knife. "But it was more fun that way".

Okay, so this, I think, is in fact a happy chapter even if it doesn't seem like it in the beginning... tell me what you guys think.

Chapter 24 continue

He must be going crazy, because what happened just couldn't have happened. Draco felt like his head was going to explode. He was trying desperately to find a way to convince himself that what happened wasn't real but he couldn't manage it. The terrible truth was right opposite him, even if he couldn't look at it.
He couldn't make himself raise his eyes from the floor to look at his son's dead body. He didn't want to see the blood drowning him, he didn't want to look at his vacant eyes, he didn't want to see the big, deep wound across his throat.
He was dead. Scorpius was dead. She had killed him without any hesitation. She just took the knife and did it. And then she just left. She didn't even bother to untie the boy's body from the chair or untie him so he could at least take him out of there. She just left them there. And Scorpius was dead and he had promised him that everything would be okay.
Well, it wasn't the first promise he didn't keep. So many years had gone by and now that he thought about it he never had spent more time than it was necessary with his son. He rather doubted if he had even told him he loved him. He wasn't a good father, he knew that; having his own dad as a role model didn't help. But he loved his son, he did and never had he done anything to show him that. And now he was gone and there was nothing he could do about it. He couldn't save him and now Scorpius was dead.
He was looking at the floor but he couldn't see it, he was blinded by tears. What would he do? What would he say to his wife? Astoria...this would make her go mad for sure. That Artemis. He would kill her, oh, he was determined about that.
While hate and grief were building up inside him and the smell of blood started burning his nose, the door opened again. He looked up and grunted.
"What the hell...? Oh, my God!"
"Potter!" Draco spitted furiously. It was Potter's fault; all of it. He left Scorpius alone, unprotected and now...and now...
"What...? Wow", Harry mumbled looking at the covered in blood boy. Draco didn't follow his gaze but kept his eyes fixed on Potter; he didn't think he could remain sane if he laid his eyes on his son's body.
"She killed him!" he yelled at Harry. "That crazy b***h Artemis did! She cut his throat right in front of my eyes!"
Harry's jaw had fallen open as he was looking from Scorpius to Draco and back again.
"Oh, God", he whispered. "She's even crazier than I thought".
Draco tried to suppress a wave of tears that burned him inside, but just as he thought he would manage it, Harry walked over to the boy and Draco's eyes followed his movement automatically, without realizing what he was going to see.
It was worse that he had expected; seeing Scorpius all ripped up like this. He head had fallen to the side and his gray eyes were still open and though motionless and dead, he could still see the fear in them. He was covered in blood and he was dead. He was dead, there was no doubt for it. For a few moments Draco really thought that he was going to lose his mind, that he was going to go insane, as grief consumed him.
All that lasted for a minute because then Harry crouched down in front of the boy, slowly moved his head right and examined the wound. Draco's grief surrendered its place to a burning feeling of anger.
"Don't touch him!" he yelled at Harry. "DON'T TOUCH HIM!"
"Draco, calm down", Harry said standing up and turning to him.
"Calm down?" he repeated. "Are you freaking crazy too? My son is dead! He's dead Potter!" he yelled as tears filled his eyes again.
"Draco..."
"This is your fault!" he said breathing hard. "How could you leave him alone? How could you leave him unprotected?"
"Draco, I didn't", Harry said.
"DON'T LIE TO ME!" Malfoy yelled. "He's dead! He's dead and some of his blood is on your hands too! I swear the God if I get you in my hands..."
"Malfoy, listen to me..."
"He's dead! HE'S DEAD!" he yelled again but his voice cracked at the end of the sentence and he started sobbing hard lowering his head again. Harry walked nearer and crouched down in front of him this time. He would have untied him but in the state Malfoy was right now, he rather thought that it was best to keep him like this for a while.
"Draco", Harry said quietly then. "Draco, try to listen to me for a few seconds". Draco didn't respond. "Draco, Scorpius isn't dead".
Draco's sobs stopped at once. He looked up at him and for a moments Harry thought that he had understood until he saw how hollow his eyes were.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Draco whispered. "Do you relish on my pain, is that it? Do you hate me so much that you joke with me now? NOW?"
"What? No, I would never do that!" Harry said shaking his head, shocked from what he thought. "Listen to me! I didn't leave Scorpius! He's not dead!"
"Potter, his dead, motionless body is right behind you!"
"Draco, that's not your son!" Harry exclaimed and he got up walking towards the boy again. "That's not him! I don't know who that is, but it's not Scorpius!" he said pointing at the dead body on the chair. "This is a decoy! Scorpius is alive, Draco. They must have used that spell from the book, the one they used to help Death Eaters escape Azkaban, the one that can duplicate someone..."
Harry kept going but Draco wasn't listeing anymore. The words Potter said were echoing in his ears. That's not him. Scorpius is alive. He's not dead. Decoy. He chanced another look at the dead body across the room. Could Potter be telling him the truth? He shook his head as tears started blinding him again. He couldn't believe it. Grief had consumed him so much that what Harry had just told him, seemed impossible.
"I don't believe you", he muttered slowly.
"He's right outside the door, Draco", Harry whispered back. Malfoy's eyes widened.
"Are you telling me the truth?"
"Of course", Harry said and then after hesitating for a little bit, he decided that it was safe now and pulled his wand out. "Go see for yourself", he added and cut the ropes around Draco.
The man looked at him stunned for a moment and then he jumped up and run out of the door. Draco emerged into the hallway outside the room completely out of breath. He looked around but there was no sign of Scorpius. Of course there wasn't. Because Scorpius was dead and Potter was just messing with him...
"Father?"
Draco gasped and turned with the pounding of his heart echoing in his ears. And there he was. Scorpius was standing there looking back at him alarmed by his anguished face and his watering eyes. Potter was telling the truth. Scorpius wasn't dead. He was there. He was breathing and moving and blinking and there was no wound across his throat.
When the first minutes of shock passed, Draco crossed the space between them hurriedly and hugged his son tightly. And Scorpius was completely taken aback by that. When Harry came out of the room a few moments later, Draco was still clinging on the boy.
"What did you do to him, Mr. Potter?" Scorpius asked Harry, looking at him over his father's shoulder, stunned.
"Nothing", Harry shrugged grinning. "But I am guessing that he just had an experience that made him reevaluate certain things".
"What?"
"Scorpius, I'm so glad you're alive", Draco said looking at him with his hand on the boy's cheek.
"Thanks?" the boy responded still confused. Harry laughed.
"Well, I am glad that you are glad. See you later".
"Wait, Potter", Malfoy said as Harry turned to leave. "Thanks".
"Whatever, you know", Harry shrugged. "Just keep away from Artemis, okay? I have enough people to worry about as it is".
"I still don't understand who that Artemis is", Scorpius said.
"Just a psycho", Draco shrugged but he held Scorpius' shoulders tighter.
"Yeah, it runs in the family", Harry laughed. "You take care of your son from now on, Draco", he added and left before the man had a chance to respond.
He needed to hurry anyway; now that Artemis had tortured her cousin, who knew who her next target would be? What if it was Ginny?
