Dear Diary,
Hiiii. Katie again, your Queen writing once more because she can. So it's thursday, the one day out of the week I don't have ballet or skating after school. I was expecting to see our babysitter since both mum and dad would still be at work for afew more hours, but instead I walk through the front door and hear a babies crying. Then Lydia ran up to me just when Julian was walking in behind me, and guess what?

Our babysitter wasn't there! Emmylyne and Axel were there, with the twin babies Ember and Colton. They're nearly three months old. We got to hold them after sitting down, and with Axel and Emmy's help me and Juls got to help feed them a bottle! Colton kinda reminded me of Grandma Angelina's baby zebra, I got to bottle feed him too; they're both real messy. And Ember screams alot, whenever someone tries putting her down.

My sister and her husband were here to visit, and surprise mum and dad like they had us. I was surprised Lainie (my sister's eldest at three years old) wasn't with them, I kinda hoped she would be but she was at her other daddies house.

Hmm. What else can I inform you of? ..

Ohh, I'm going to Axel and Emmy's house for a week in august. When the other kids are there and a bunch of friends and stuff. Maybe I could get mum to agree to me going with Savannah to diagon alley over in london when she wants to go do that. If Savannah is okay with me coming.

I'll never admit this outloud, but I'm kinda scared.. when Emmy, Nikolas and Regina became of age it was only a matter of time before they left home; Conner's gone for good, and Savannah, Joey and Madi are all two and three years away from being seventeen. What if they move away too? Will Julian and I be the oldest at home? I don't want to lose anymore brothers or sisters, Diary. I don't like it. We rarely see Regina and Nik anymore. Emmy more than them but still not as often as before when we all lived at home together.

And now I'm an aunt? I thought only old people were aunts and uncles, I'm eight! My first neice is three years old, then my other neice is two months and then two nephews at two months and seven months. I wonder how being a great grandma makes Grandma Angelina feel, hmm.. maybe she's the right person to talk to about this kind of thing, if I chose to talk about it. Grandma would understand best.

Erhm, Julian is calling me, I better stuff you back under my pillow.

Dear Diary,
Joy oh joy. I'm grounded for the rest of today, and 'I'm lucky it isn't for the whole weekend'. MEH. I am glad that it's only for the rest of today though; Julian and I were invited over to Jae's house tomorrow for a sleepover with the rest of our friends.

Now ask your Queen why she's grounded? No comments on HOW someone can ground THEE QUEEN. Even royalty have parents that still have the upper hand. I have three words for you: Milano Olona Accademia.

Milano Olona Accademia is the muggle elementry school I go to, it's from Kindergarten to eighth grade. It's kinda like a tradition in my family, instead of going to a little kid's wizarding school we attend muggle academies till the age of eleven. Mum and dad think it will help us understand things of both worlds better that way.

I honestly do enjoy going to MOA, I have friends there that are just as awesome as my wizarding friends, something I never thought possible! Our teacher Ms. Hornet is awful, but the other teachers and librarian are really nice, and I like learning what they tell us.

Legend, Julian and I are in a split third, fourth class. And there's these three girls, that I cannot stand. They're EVIL little brats! One is the leader and the other two are like her sidekicks, it's pathetic! They're mean and awful and someone needs to teach them a lesson. I'm just the person for that, no?

Let me explain. The 'leader' is Marietta Gozzi, she's a fourth grader. Then you have another fourth grader; Carina Cini, and her little sister in my grade; Lacey Cini. I vaguely remember someone telling me the Cini's and Gozzi's are cousins, I wouldn't doubt it either.

Please, give me ONE good reason she had to pick on MY LITTLE BROTHER?! She's a stupid TEN year old, making a rude remark about MY SIX YEAR OLD BROTHER! Gabriel goes to Kindergarten at MOA, but we don't often see the little kiddies, or even the ones Lydia and Lissy's age, which their in first grade. Marietta is a mean, evil girl, and I'm going to become her worst nightmare. She had NO RIGHT to say ANYTHING about Gabriel, NOTHING. And she was talking about how he can't be related to my siblings and I, then someone else in our class told her he was adopted, and she said that proves her point, he's not family because he wasn't born to us and we don't share the same blood nor do we look similar; Gab has a darker, creamy caramel complexion while I'm fairly tan. We both have dark hair and eyes, and none of that matters at all! He IS family, sure he didn't come from mum's tummy, and that just makes him that much more special. He might not have come from our mum's tummy, but he came from our hearts.

If I find out that Gabriel hears any of those cruel things, I'll make Marietta regret ever laying eyes on me. I can promise that. NO one messes with MY family and gets away with it. It doesn't work that way, think again.

So after hearing Marietta talking about that, I had politely interupted and corrected her, also asked her to mind her OWN Business instead of discussing MY families, and she said she it was a free country and she could talk about whatever she wanted! Legend and Julian both had to grab me before I reacted the way I wanted to. I was MAD, I still AM! I tried telling Ms. Hornet but the old hag scolded me for tattling and might as well have praised Marietta. The bratty teacher's pet.

I know and fully understand using magic to your own advantage on a none-magical being is wrong, but what could I do?! I was mad. Let's just say Marietta will be having nightmares of big red balls bouncing after her, for a loooong time. Might even catch her, 'cause I know these ones did! Of course that involved tying her shoelaces together... without coming within two feet of her. If you were a talking book with a face, you would be giving me some look, I can just assume, but I don't care! The girl had it coming, and far more. Legend and Julian tried stopping me, then when Legend heard why I was being.. witchy, he almost helped!

Marietta didn't know it was me causing those things to happen, I hadn't touched anything that attacked her! No one except Legend and Julian knew it was me, but she STILL told Ms. Hornet and blamed me! So I had to stay after class and the old hag gave me a note to give my parents AND left a messege on the house phone to tell them I would be bringing it, just so I couldn't throw it away without a word.

While the people at school didn't have proof it was me, my parents did know. The boys didn't tell on me, but it wasn't hard to guess to be honest. That's why I'm grounded, because I couldn't handle the situation right, I let my temper get the best of me. And it felt good.

Dear Diary,
I think I'm most thankful your just a book, right about now. Full of blank pages waiting to be filled in, and afew in the front already complete. In a way I imagine your understanding, even sympathetic. If.. you were a human, or turned into one. Or even given a mouth and emotions. That would be an interesting idea to play around with, but I think we'll leave that alone. I'm good and all, but if it were to let's say backfire I don't think anyone could fix it if I couldn't. Plus if you blabbed a word of what I write in you, you would be no more. Period.

Enough of that though! I have more important things to fill you in on. Like why I haven't written in forever. That is a long, long story. Actually no, it's real short. I've been busier than normal. Today was the last day of school till after summer, which is one less thing on my list. Ballet and ice skating doesn't stop, but I'll be taking two weeks off from both in all for summer. I'm spending a week (August third to tenth) at my eldest sister, Emmylyne's and her husband Axel's house with a bunch of other family and friends. And then I'll take days off here and there that equal out to another week, to actually get a little break for summer without having to do anything but what I want. Not that I didn't want to be in ice skating, it's just hard work every single day almost. And Ballet wasn't optional, if I wanted to get good in figure skating.

I've been spending alot of time with my two best friends at school; Monique Lombardi-Russo and Olivia Della Penna. Olivia has long pale blonde hair and misty grey eyes, her looks come from her mothers side of the family. You could hardly guess latin blood ran through her veins by her appearance. Livi is inbetween Mo and I in age, just a month behind me. Mum thinks she's a sweet girl; I'm going to miss her when I leave to attend Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, just like Savannah and Joseph.

Monique is almost a full year younger than me, but she's in the same year. Normally she would be a second grader, but Mo is advanced and fits in better with us so she went up a grade just before the begining of school last year. When I had moved over here and started school, to be exact.

Momo has brown hair and eyes, like me. She's kinda tan too, also like me. So we look alike but we also don't, if that makes any sense. We're colored the same way? Like when you color in pages of a coloring book or a drawing.

Anyways, she likes Marietta and her sidekicks as much as I do. Livi too, but that's not the point. What the point is, is Monique knew that I did infact cause the small attack. I was in complete shock of how she could of figured out I'm a Witch, no one else knew even after the attack! Did this mean I would be introuble? She's a muggle! So guess what that meant? Monique has a family member that's magical too! See Diary, It wasn't my fault, my 'incidence' gave away harmless information since she already knew about the Wizarding world.

I always kinda thought her and I had a closer bond, now it makes total sense! I'm glad she knows, it's easier not having to keep that from her. If only we could tell Olivia, but I know the situation is different with her. She's pure muggle, I don't think she's heard of magic aside from fairytale book magic, which ironically isn't even close to realistic FYI. Really now! Their Witch version of us are hags; Get it straight people! Atleast Mo and I will be able to keep in contact when I go away to school, that'll be good. For now, I need to go. Regina is here and she's calling me down to help her with dinner since I asked to help.

Dear Diary,
Firstly, looking over the entry from yesterday I failed to mention Regina's here, though that's obvious.. okay I kinda did, but I didn't formally say it I just threw her in. So yes, Regina is here. She's visiting for awhile; we hardly see her since we're in Europe and she's in America. It would be simple of Regina would use the magical methods of transportation she was born to be able to use, but noooo. She prefers not to, Reg would rather fit in with 'normal' people. Not that it's a bad thing I guess, dad's a muggle. I just wish we got to see her more often then once a year, is that so much to ask? I know I shouldn't complain, she's here now and staying awhile, then going to see Nikolas and his wife Jasmine, and then going to see Emmy as well, so I'll see her again. Speaking of which, maybe I could see if Monique and her brother Carter could come too! I'll have to ask Legend what he thinks first, Carter's his friend.

I'm going to hang out with Regina tomorrow, and the next day is 'family day' *Insert eye rolling here* so mum's going to call my ballet teacher, Mrs. DaClan and my figure skating coach Madame Popov to let them know I won't be there. The next day I have both lessons as usual, which Hunter also attends one of them. He figure skates too; Madame Popov, our instructor (I just call her coach..), believes we're the best out of our class and work 'fabulously' together. We have an opening for a partner skate thing, and she offered it to us! Which means extra work, but it's so worth it.

Back to what I was saying, after and between classes I'm going to be with Hunter. I should see if Legend will come, since he has ballet with me. I'm not sure if he would come down to the rink, but it can't hurt to ask.. maybe I could use my birthday wish he gave me on that. To make him come. I haven't used it yet, so why not? I haven't come up with anything better to use it for.

I would ask Monique and Olivia to come too, but Mo is at.. her dads house, I think. And Livi went to visit her grandma for a week, so neither will be home.

Speaking of Grandma's, I want to go to mine soon! Just me, and Julian. No Lissy, or Lydia, or Gabriel this time. They can go another time, I want a day or two with Grandma Angelina, and Julian of course. We're hardly ever seperated, it feels funny when we are.. atleast I think so. Plus I need him to help me, Grandma Angelina has three horses and she told me before I helped her alot by riding them because it let's them get out and exercise alot. All three are fully grown gypsy horses; whatever that means I'm not really sure at this moment but I'll have to ask or something. Anyways, the first one is Esmerelda, she's white and black blotched, kinda like how a cow looks. Cinnamon reminds me of.. well, cinnamon. her coat looks like that color but a little lighter, like.. a buttered cinnamon roll and last there is Snowy, he's the newest; his name fits since he could easily blend right in with the pure white wet fluff during the winter.

Grandma Angelina has a bunch of other pets too, Mum seys her house is worse than a zoo. The bunnies are so cute though, and then there's Chester. Chester is a kneazle, he's about five years old and you'll never see another kneazle with such a personality and attitude on him you'd think he thought he was human. Oh! Rabid is over there too, he's Savannah's one year old badger. Still a baby badger cub, but he's growing more. Much bigger than what she found him as. If you had a brain, I'm sure you'd be thinking something along the lines of 'Your sister's insane' well don't! Cause Savannah's not, she might not think clearly about how dangerous some creatures can be but that's just her. If some snake bit her, startling her and was the reason of her falling backwards and stepping on it, she would be more concerned with if the thing was okay or not rather than the newly open wound she had. It's incredibly silly, but that's my sis. I respect the way she thinks and feels, like that. She had found and saved Rabid when he was only weeks old, his mother had died and he was all alone. Now the badger acts more like a dog.. or turtle is a better example, they even have the same diet!

I need to be going now, so I'll wrap this up as quickly as I can because I have BIG HUGE NEWS!! (Which is going to be a discussion topic on 'family day') My mother, Lorraine Mae, is going to have a baby. We were just told last night, I had nightmares of screaming babies and flinging of dirty diapers and oh! It was awful. Thirteenth kid sounds insane right? Yeah I agree!! You chew on that, while I go chew on my breakfast. See ya!

Dear Diary,
So, today is friday. Regina isn't here anymore, she's either in Romania visiting Nikolas, his wife and their son or she's home, in america. Legend's here though, he's spending the night. Tomorrow my sister and his sister come home from Hogwarts, for summer. I can't wait to tell Savannah everything she's missed, and to ask WHY it seems so hard to write and send a letter to me every now and then while she's away!

I guess.. I've accepted the fact that mum's having a baby. It's not as if we can stop it now, so I don't have a choice in the matter. Denial won't help, 'cause they'll come anyways. Funnily enough she's not the only one, either. Legend's step-mum Rae is having twins, and on that note my mum isn't having A baby, she's having three of them. Triplets. Oh boy. It's kinda weird though, their old people, like Legend was just ranting about earlier. Mum just turned 41, and Dad's going on 43. They even have four grandkids (one under the age of four and the other three under the age of one), three of which are Emmylyne's. Then again, Emmy had gotten married pretty young, right after she turned of age almost and that's the same thing Mum had done when she was that age. So.. it doesn't matter, because everyone is different and have their own choices to make and destinies to find or follow (whatever makes sense). Which makes no one wrong, pluuuus.. we already made Mum and Dad promise this was the last time. And, I'm talking them into letting us pick their names! That's the least they could do; From Madi and up they all got to help pick names so it's only fair. Hmmph.

Eeek hold on, I think I hear Legend and Julian coming! .....

False alarm. Lissy and Lydia are chasing the boys around the house. Good girls; I'll have to sneak them each a cookie later for keeping Legend away without asking them too, while I write.

Speaking of that boy - OH NO you NEVER believe what happened. Or what we found out, actually. For once I'm greatful Legend is.. Legend. It means, on this, we equally agree NEVER to EVER let any of our friends find out our stupid secret. STUPID SECRET. His fault. I blame him, and he knows it. We argued, no surprise. What is this said secret you ask? Okay, this is what happened. Legend came over this morning and we all spent a really fun day at the park and stuff and then later towards dinner time, Dad went to get pizza and ice cream. He took L&L (< Lydia and Lissy) and Gab along with him. Julian, Legend and I stayed home with Mum, and decided to clean up the attic abit and get the baby cribs and things out or prepare to, so they were closer to the front of the room.

What does that have to do with a secret? I'm getting there! Where was I.. Oh, yes. We were in the attic finding some of the babies stuff, and Julian came across a container box of pictures. Old pictures, mind you. Mum told him to bring it to her, and we all crowded around her and looked at them. Weird part was there was alot of people I didn't recognize, sometimes with ME.

What pictures does she stumble across then? Try guessing, you'll never believe it. She found pictures of Legend and I, from when I was four years old. I didn't know I knew him then! I don't remember that, not once. He didn't remember either, but that's besides the point. One of those pictures needs to be destroyed! One of those pictures could ruin me for LIFE! One of those pictures.. LEGEND KISSED ME! Yes, just a little tiny kid's kiss on the cheek, but I will die from embarrassment if anyone see's or hear's about that, PLUS bring Legend and whoever it was with me.

He didn't believe it was us, though I do know it was me because I do remember how adorable I was at that age. Anyways, our names are signed on the back in our handwritings from that year. Hard to read, but mine said 'Katcub' which was suppose to be Katiecub. What makes that a thousand times worse, and even more important to keep that secret a SECRET is - You know how I got that nickname? I didn't till today, never thought to ask. Three and a half year old Lysander Chosen gave me that nickname, yeah because kissing me on the cheek wasn't bad enough! and to top it off my face is bright red in that photo! Why did Mum take a picture of THAT?! It's Legend's fault; Even at that age he shouldn't have been trying to be all little and cutesy with ME. Coocoo bananas, I tell you! I finally understand when people say 'You're past will come back to haunt you' Aren't I too young for that?!
