#1 - Herbology
Herbology is one of my least favorite subjects and we have to share it with Ravenclaws. Ugh… I hate all other Houses for different reasons – Huffplepuffs because they are dumb oafs, Gryffindors because Potty, Weasel and the Mudblood are in it, but I can’t think of what I hate the Ravenclaws for. Well, they are smart, it is true, but how can the Loony girl be there if they are all smart? She can’t have paid to the Sorting Hat to be sorted into Ravenclaw, can she?

I think I just hate them all because we share the Herbology class.

#2 - Muggle Studies (picked by Taking Back Kirstie)

“What classes are you going to take, Draco?”

I drink my pumpkin juice as Pansy rambles throw our schedules. “What options do we have?”

I notice her skipping a line at the top. “Divination…”

“Maybe.”

“Care of Magical Creatures?”

I freeze. “With that servant oaf Hagrid?” My grin becomes wider as I glance at the teachers’ table. “You bet I’ll go. It will be great to throw him out of school.”

Pansy shakes her head. “Ancient Runes?”

“I’ll think of it. What did you skip?”

“Um… Muggle Studies.”

“Oh…” I see Granger talking to McGonagall. “No, I won’t take it.”

#3 - Transfiguration

“Draco dear, how was your first term? How is Severus?” Narcissa asked after Draco got home on his first vacations. “Did you like Hogwarts?”

Draco kicked the drawer. “That Transfiguration Professor McGonagall is an old toad. She gave me hundreds of detentions. And Dumbledore is an ancient fool, I’m afraid if you touch him he will fall apart”, he said sitting into a comfortable armchair. “And that Potter, he thinks he’s allowed to do anything as if no one wanted to kill him. And that Mudblood friend of his.”

“How is Professor Snape, honey?”

“Oh, he’s fine. Still hates Potter.”

#4 See you soon. (Ancient Runes)

I see her at the Great Hall, I know she looks at me out of the corner of her eye, but I know I can’t look back whenever I want. I have to attract attention so she can look at me the way she wants; too bad her friends are always involved, they don’t like me much. But who cares as long as we can look at each other? She gets up and walks towards the entrance stopping for a split second.

“See you after my Ancient Runes class”, she whispers as she passes by accompanied by her stupid friends.

#5 - Astronomy (requested by Lizzie a.k.a. BlackGirl)

The wind’s ruining my hair, it’s blowing around me as if trying to stop be because I’m not supposed to be here, so late at night, when the evening is saying its goodbye to us. The Astronomy Tower is a place I love the most after the Potions classroom, because you can see the whole school grounds and even beyond the boundaries, where the village of Hogsmeade begins, where you can run and hide forgetting everything.

I shiver as the wind tries to stop me again. There’s no other place where I want to be right now like home…

“Morsmordre!”

#6 - Divination

“…so he just fell asleep in the Divination classroom and he had that dream about the Dark Lord”, I tell Crabbe, Goyle and Nott. “Rita has it all down now, she’s brilliant, no wonder she became so rich in just ten years.”

“I think we should be careful with her”, says Theodore. “She can do the same to us one day and we will be able to do nothing, because we can’t tell anyone we were in contact with her.”

I smirk. “Don’t worry, Theodore, she won’t tell anything, my father will pay well.”

Still there’s something I’m worried about…

#7 - Care of Magical Creatures

“What are we having now?” I ask Pansy after out first class this term. Merlin, it is the first time I get to listen to Flitwick’s squeaks this year, but I’m already annoyed and angry.

“Care of Magical Creatures”, she simply replies. We walk outside the castle.

“Wonderful”, I grin as I think of our new “Professor” who can’t even speak normally, let alone the art of teaching. “I think I can make this class very interesting today.”

And as we walk down to the edge of Forbidden Forest, I am already making up a wonderful plan in my head…

#8 - Potions

Potions… Wizarding chemistry… The art of potion-making is sacred to me… But the Potions master is my mentor who wants to help me. Does he really want to help? I don’t know. I know that he feels sorry, but I also know he wants the fame and glory to himself. The greedy teacher who is playing double games and thinks that he will be rewarded for doing that. How mistaken he is, if only he knew what expects him in the end. I don’t know, but I wish I knew. I’m sure it’s awful and will be fun to watch.

#9 - Defense Against the Dark Arts (picked by LovelyLunaLovegood)

Sometimes I don’t understand why we need it. I’m talking about the Defense Against the Dark Arts classes. It makes me feel silly, as if I ever need the defense. I see my housemates around me and they feel the same. I see people who’ll need defense against my dark arts when I eat at the Great Hall, I see Potter, Weasley and Granger who are helpless… I see fear in their eyes, they can pretend whatever they want, I know that the day I’ll make them beg and plead for mercy will be the best day of my life.

#10 - Arithmancy

Draco leaned over the table to reach for the cakes. Taking a bite he glanced at their schedules again running through all new subjects.

Pansy sat down beside him. “Arithmancy was awful, that know-it-all Granger spoiled everything with her squeaks.”

Draco laughed helping himself with pumpkin juice while Pansy turned away to talk to her friends. “No one forced you to go there, that was one of the reasons why I chose different classes.”

“Though I’m the only one that knows the reason why I don’t want to see Granger so often”, he muttered quickly glancing at the Gryffindor table.

#11 - History of Magic

I see Death Eaters throw curses at all directions… one of the curses hits me…

I feel pain and anger building up… my insides hurt…

I can hear a distant voice calling me as if trying to knock on my soul’s door, trying to send me a message I can’t get…

I fear those who are stronger and smarter and it scares me to see my father cursing me…

I know it can’t be real, because my father cannot hurt me, still I see them round up on me…

I scream…

…I wake up at a History of Magic lesson.

#12 - Charms

“My Charms essay looks great, I never knew dad could make House Elves write such a brilliant thing, seems like they know everything”, I say as I put my feet on the sofa cushion and unwrap a Chocolate Frog.

Pansy takes the parchment from my hands. “You should not really send your father owl every time we get homework, it is rude.”

I frown. “Oh, what do you know about being rude? You should be more Slytherin-like even if there is no Gryffindorks around. You are just too polite when they are not around.”

Sometimes she is not so Slytherin.

#13 Seekers do it better. (Quidditch)

“Alright, boys, strike a pose!” the photographer called as Harry, Viktor and Draco posed for the Witch Weekly’s new article ‘Famous Seekers of International Schools of Magic’. “Good, now Cho and Ginny, it’s your turn”, he said to the girls as the guys went to change their clothes. Draco stopped by the door where a nice married couple stood holding arms.

“You have that thing for Seekers, don’t you?” he said to the pretty married lady.

“I don’t like Quidditch, Malfoy, I like certain players”, she answered angrily taking Ron’s arm and leading him away with her back to Draco.

#14 - Hogwarts, A History

She slams a heavy book against the table and the legs shudder. She sighs heavily and opens the book on a random… no, wait, she knows the page she needs. Merlin, she knows the whole book by heart. I bet it is Hogwarts, A History, she reads it all the time and you can probably name any page and she will tell you what is on it.

I feel a hand on my shoulder…

“What?” I ask. “Oh…” I turn to our table to see everyone looking at me. I frown and shrug. “What? I just reacted to the thud.”

#15 - Room

I like it when it is quiet in the Slytherin Common Room, when no one is sneaking everywhere trying to spread the latest rumors about Potter or Weasleyю It annoys and bothers me when people are so ignorant they may not even care about themselves.

I like to watch them speak and laugh, the way they think they rule the world. The are my housemates, but I am not like them and I know that for one reason – I am always above them. I know that, my father knows that and one day I will show how important I am.

#16 - Dragonhide Gloves

I look outside the Greenhouse’s window…

“Ouch!” I shriek as the plant bites my finger.

“Now, Mr. Malfoy! I told you you need to put your Dragonhide Gloves on to work with Fanged Geranium! When will you start listening carefully?” Professor Sprout yells and her yelling echoes off the glass. I make a face when she turns around to lead bleeding Crabbe away. Obviously the Gerania bit him on his arm… he needs to go to the Hospital Wing, so Professor Sprout leaves and I have a chance to look outside again while putting my gloves on.

Stupid mudblood Granger…

#17 - Cauldron

I lean over my cauldron to see what is there and the substance does not make me feel good.

“What did you add?” I ask Pancy as I wave my hand in front of my face.

“Me? I did NOT add anything, you added crushed moonstone before the claws”, she frowns.

I glance at the bushy-haired girl sitting next to Weasley, her potion is shimmering with the proper color and does not have that rotten smell our potion has.

“Mister Malfoy, I hope that is a terrible accident”, Snape waves his wand above the cauldron making it disappear.

Stupid Granger…

#18 - Whomping Willow

“Hey! Have you heard what happened?” Pansy asked sitting at the table beside Draco who was glaring at Gryffindors while eating his kidney pie.

“What?” he asked turning to her with curiousity. “Did they fire Dumbledore?”

The girl frowned shaking her head. “No, Ron Weasley and Harry Potter hit the Whomping Willow on a flying car, I just heard that from Professor Snape.

Grinning from ear to ear Draco slowly put the fork on the table and folded his arms.

“Nice”, he said. “Will they be expelled?”

“No, I guess Dumbledore forgave them because they’re his favorites.”

Draco’s grin dissapeared.

#20 - Hogsmeade

I enjoy the trips to Hogsmeade, they’re quiet and relaxing and the only thing you have to care about is how to get more candy from Honeydukes.

I love the village in winter when it’s covered with snow and the spirit of Christmas is all around. We’re just messing around with the snowballs and have funny bullying the third years.

I always have good time there, it makes me think of home and the way mom would tell me Muggle stories about wizards, witches and all things I like to laugh at.

I’m sorry that I’ll never go there again…

#22 - Kneazle

What an ugly cat she has, it looks like it’s got its face smashed against the wall… What is it, it looks like an orange brush. I guess it’s half Kneazle, another half breed like she and her stupid friends are.

Where did she get it anyway? I bet it’s Weasel’s hair it has got, so red and awful. Wasn’t normal cats supposed to be black or at least grey? She could’ve at least transplanted Pothead’s ugly hair, it doesn’t look like it’s made of Gryffindor uniform.

Oh no, she looks at me. Don’t look back, Draco, don’t look back.

#23 - Telescope

“Hey Crabbe, I need to use your telescope, mine is broken”, I push Vincent aside as everyone laughs. “I have to see that star Professor was taking about, the one that brings luck if you see it.”

I look around – the Astronomy tower is really beautiful and the Forbidden Forest looks even more unbelievably dark and fascinating from here. I am sorry it will be over soon, but my plans are two important to regret. I forgot how to eat, I forgot how to sleep, but I didn’t forget how wonderful the school looks from up here. I need luck.

#24 - House Elf

Dobby is our House Elf. He does what we say and never complains… that’s why I like having fun making him do the things I don’t really need, but it’s so amusing to watch him do what I say.

It can be “Dobby, I want a glass of pumpkin juice” and when he brings it I splash the juice all over him and say “What did you bring? I asked for a mug of Butterbeer!” Those House Elves are stupid, I hope my father will get me a couple of new ones soon, since that one is getting really old.

#25 - Sorting Hat

Bones, Crabbe, Goyle, Granger, Finnigan, Longbottom... there’s Potter, Weasley and other oafs to be sorted soon.

I glance at Professor Snape and he nods at me as the old toad McGonagall calls my name.

“Malfoy, Draco”, she says and I walk up to the high stool. I jump onto it and she places the Sorting Hat over my head. All I hear is “Hmmm… I know.” And the Hat shouts “Slytherin!” barely touching my head.

I look at Snape again and it looks like he’s actually smiling, I can’t distinguish any expression on his face, but I know he’s happy.
