Entrapment

“Help me!” Ron cried wrestling with the Devil’s Snare plant yet again. “Ron?! Again?! What is with you these days?” Harry exclaimed in frustration as Neville helped Ron.

“We should have dropped Herbology with Hermione when we had the chance,” Ron said on a sigh.

“Yeah well, you thought Neville would be able to help us as well as Hermoine, no offence Neville,” Harry replied sarcastically.

“No problem,” Neville chuckled as he pushed the Devil’s Snare back out of the walk way, “I can help you with Herbology Ron; I just can’t help you from yourself!” He exclaimed laughing.

The Return of Fawkes

“Albus Dumbledore is the greatest headmaster Hogwarts has ever, and will ever see. EVER” Harry screamed at Lucius Malfoy.

They were standing in the Headmaster’s office. Minerva was sitting at the desk, and the portrait of Dumbledore was softly chuckling on the wall. Suddenly there was a loud crack and a flash of light and Fawkes was standing on Harry’s shoulder nuzzling his neck.

“Ah yes, Fawkes.” Dumbledore said fondly, looking at the bird. Fawkes flew up and softly brushed Dumbledore’s portrait before returning to Harry’s shoulder, not before however, leaving a present on Lucius’ shoulder. “It would seem to me that you are out numbered, Lucius.” Dumbledore said calmly, a smile threatening the corners of his mouth.

It is ALL your Fault

Molly was banging pains around in the kitchen, completely irritated with the direction the morning was taking. “Hurry up and get ready, Lot.” She screamed up the stairs, muttering mutinously to herself as she prepared breakfast.

“Why do we have to travel on the Knight Bus?” Ron whined as he came down the stairs, “Harry’s important, why can’t we get a car from the ministry, besides Ginny always gets sick when we take the Knight Bus”

“If someone hadn’t crashed our Ford Anglia, we wouldn’t need to travel by Knight Bus, now would we?” Molly spit each word out distinctly and ferociously in Ron’s face, he in turned cowered smaller and smaller with each word.

Look at the Pretty Fire

“Bring the torch over this way.” Harry said as he struggled with the lock apparatus, a little closer, a little more to the left…..good, hold it steady.”

“Umm….Harry, we don’t have a torch.” Ron said in a small voice, “but if I were you, I would forget about this for the moment and run as fast as I can.”

“Why is that? You know I can’t just leave this and forget about it, or did you forget?” he said angrily.

“You might want to listen to him and look up.” Hermione said fear shaking her voice. Sighing Harry looked up, the retort dying in his throat. Staring him the face was an angry looking Hungarian Horntail, the small fires burning in it’s nostrils were what Harry had mistaken for torches.

Revenge of Sorts: Part 1

“Meet me in the dungeons in 10 minutes; I have something you might want to see.” Smirked Pansy Parkinson.

“And why should we?” Hermione shot back, voice dripping with dislike. “Because, like I said, I have something you three might want to see.” She said as she walked away, knowing full well that curiosity would get the better of Ron Hermione and Harry.

As the snuck down to the dungeons they tried to speculate at what they could possibly be interested in seeing. Hearing voices, they drew up and crept forward cautiously. Suddenly they could see the people talking “GINNY!” Ron shrieked before he fainted, his sister in the arms of none other than Draco.

Not France

“Hurry up, Hurry up.” Molly herded everyone to the hill near the Burrow. “We need to make it to the Portkey, come on!” She said in a false cheery voice. “I don’t know why they couldn’t just have the wedding here. France, really!” she said disapprovingly as though France were the most repulsive place on the globe. Ginny giggled.

“Don’t you think it would be nice to see part of the world dear?” Arthur said trying to smooth things over with his wife. ”You always said that you wanted to see France someday,.” He said hopefully.

“Yes but I meant under better circumstances.” “As if her son’s wedding was completely unimportant” Fred chimed in, “Can’t wait to see what she says about ours!”

Don't Steal me Lucky Charms

“I know him!” Arthur said excitedly pointing to the television in the Dursley’s living room, that eight people were squeezed uncomfortably into, waiting for Harry to finish packing. The had turned up unexpectedly to escort him to the Burrow for some fun before the next school year started.

“You know who?” Vernon asked disgustedly, Arthur had pointed at a cartoon leprechaun in a commercial that was singing about his lucky charms or some other rubbish as that.

“That leprechaun.” Arthur said as if that was quite normal for one to know. “You…you...mean they’re real?” Vernon asked shakily. “Of course!” Arthur responded, winking to the rest of the group.

Remember: Part 2

Harry gaped at what he was seeing, while Hermione, unsuccessfully tried to arouse Ron. Not even Ron’s shriek had interrupted the kiss that wouldn’t end. He could not believe that Ginny would do that to her friends, to her family, and to him.

Finally, having enough of what he was seeing, Harry stormed into the room, “What do you think your doing with him Ginny?” Harry screamed in her face.

“Why do you care?” She asked calmly shoving him away, “You didn’t want me, remember? She said sneering as she took Draco’s hand and pulled him away.

“See I told you.” Pansy said, coming out of the shadows.

Unbelievable: Part 3

A soft hoot in the night awoke him from a deep sleep. He jerked awake as the bird started pecking his forehead. Rubbing his forehead, Harry jerked the letter off of the bird’s leg and threw the bird out the window.

“Meet me in the Common Room. G&D” Furious that she had brought Draco to their common room he stormed down to find Ginny and Dean sitting on a chair, snuggling. Confused, Harry walked towards them, looking around for Draco. “He is not here, and I wasn’t kissing him.” Ginny said point blank. She pointed her wand and Dean and he turned into Draco, “I have gotten good at the disillusionment charm.” She said smiling seeing Harry’s baffled expression. “I wanted to get you back for being such an overprotective git.”

Some Secrets Should Remain Secrets

Mad-Eye Moody, Arthur Weasley and Remus Lupin where all standing in the entryway of Number 12 Grimmuald Place, staring at the Boggart containing desk.

“Are we ready?” Remus asked the other men. “Yes, we are, Did Molly leave?” “Yes Moody, she left about ten minutes ago. Can you see the Boggart?” Arthur asked readying his wand.

“Yes I can. On the count of three now.” Moody slammed the drawer of the desk open and out came the moon, having fixed itself onto Lupin.

“So, what does it look like Moody? no one knows.” Remus asked a while later, while sitting in the kitchen. “And I will never tell!” Moody replied, grinning.

The Squid: Part 1

“Don’t be such a bore, Neville.” Luna said.

They were sitting on the ground, leaning against a tree in front of the lake. In the distance, they could see several first years playing with the giant squid. It would pick them up and throw them into the lake, and then would swim back to shore, and then stand at the edge of the water, waiting for it to toss them back in.

“But I don’t want that thing to touch me.” Neville repeated in a small voice. “Well,” Luna said standing up and brushing the grass off of her pants, “I am going with or with out you.” With that she took off running. Neville laughed as he saw her flying through the air, landing in the water.

The Challenge: Part 2

“Come on Neville, I DARE you!” Luna said laughing from the lake. “The water is nice.”

“I don’t know.” Neville called back to her, uncertain. “Those tentacles look kind of dangerous.” He said, edging himself closer. “They could really leave a mark if you got stuck on them.” He continued easing himself closer and closer, as he watched the children enjoying the fun. “Besides, he throws you pretty high, doesn’t it hurt when you land?” He asked trying to make excuses.

Luna was almost back to the shore by this time. “I am almost there, Neville, we can go together if you like.” She said reassuringly.

Flight of the Neville: Part 3

“Come on Neville, it is not that bad.” Luna said Egging him on. She had climbed out and now stood next to him, dripping water on the ground. “Let’s go together.” She said taking his hand and smiling as she led him to the lake. “It will be fun, I promise.” Luna said.

“Hey, Neville, what are you doing?” Harry asked as he Ron and Hermione walked up. Seeing a way out he grinned and started to turn towards his friends. As he felt one of the tentacles wrap itself around his chest and launch him into the water. “NO!” He screamed through the air until he hit the water.

Fighting it Only Makes it Worse: Part 4

“Why did you fight it, Neville?” Luna asked as she helped drag a shivering Neville out of the water. His teeth chattering, Neville had a look of pure terror on his face.

The squid, seemingly knowing the fight Neville had put up, had launched him farther than anyone, almost to the middle of the lake. It had taken him almost an hour to swim back, due to the fact that the squid kept throwing him back as he got close to the shore.

Finally exhausted, he had turned on his back and floated to shore, the squid helping him the last hundred feet or so.

Sorry Guys

“Why don’t you just tell her you like her, Dean. I am sure she knows that you attitude is just an act.”

“Because I can’t Seamus, she is with Harry now.” He said sneering on the word ‘Harry’

The two boys were sitting in a window seat in the Gryffindor Common Room, watching Harry and Ginny snuggling in front of the fire.

“Oh this is ridicules!” Dean burst out after watching a particularly passionate kiss. Jumping out of the window he slammed out of the portrait, ignoring the screams of anger from the Fat Lady

“Sorry guys.” Seamus said, shrugging as he chased after Dean.

Not A Laughing Matter: Part 1

“Can’t you take a joke?” the boy asked as the Bat-Bogey Hex finally wore off. “Argh!” He screamed and ducked, but not soon enough, and was hit with another Bat-Bogey Hex.

He tried, unsuccessfully to run away, but the flying Bogies just kept beating him relentlessly. Again this hex wore off.

“Ginny, please, no more, I was only kidding.” Fred begged mercy from his sister.

“So am I!” She screamed as she cast another spell his way. This time however it wasn’t the Hex, it was Perfectus Totalus. Fred instantly froze solid.

“Can’t you take a joke Fred.” Ginny asked furiously as she sat back and cast the Bogey Hex at him again and again.

In Loving Memory: Part 2

“What did he do?” Ron asked in awe as he watched his sisters unrelenting hexing of their brother Fred

“He made her new boyfriend break up with her.” George replied, conjuring a bucket of popcorn, offering some to Ron.

“Remember that potion he gave you, that made your face break out in hives, and each of the bumbs was a laughing you?” George asked, enthralled with what was happening, “Well, he gave a huge concentration to the boyfriend, and they erupted all over his body. Only Fred didn’t change the potion, so they were YOUR heads laughing all over the boy’s body.”

“Well,” said Ron struggling not to laugh, “He isn’t going to make it, we might as well kiss him goodbye!”

They Really Do Exist

Luna and Neville were traveling at a lope, silently riding along, enjoying the scenery
.
“It’s a beautiful day, isn’t it Luna?”

“Hmm, yes it is.” She replied, “a good day to hunt crompled shnork-backs.”

“Ok then, let’s go.” Neville said, kicking the animal into a gallop

“You’re being too loud.” She scolded Neville when she finally caught him, “Besides, why do you want to do this, I thought you didn’t believe in them.” Luna asked him suspiciously.

“Well, said Neville, I didn’t believe you about Thestrals either until you put me on top of one, just because I can’t see it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.”

No Mooching for You

“Don’t mooch off of me.” Hermione yelled at Ron. She was in a horrible mood, and was taking it out on everyone around her.

“Ok. I’m sorry.” Ron said timidly, not expecting her to yell at him. “I didn’t mean to upset you.” He apologized.

“Everyone always mooches off of me!” She screamed, “No more! No one is taking anything from me, no help with homework, no food, no advice on relationships!” “Ok!” Ron said as he backed away.

In the corner Lavender sat laughing silently in her book. She had intentionally asked Hermione for advice with Ron that morning,, hoping for this reaction.

In Need of a Nap

“I need a nap.” McGonagol said to herself as she crashed into a chair in the teachers lounge.

“I find that sometimes I quite agree with you Minerva.” said the soft voice of Albus Dumbledore.

With a shriek, Minerva jumped out of the chair, “Oh, my!” She exclaimed, “I didn’t see you, Albus, I thought I was alone!” She delicately sat herself back down in the chair.

“I also find, that when people are focused on something, the tend to shut everything else out.” He said knowingly, “Take a nap, Minerva.” He said kindly, as he got up to leave.

Nasty
“They are oozing everywhere! What do I do?” Fred and George had promised Ron 100 galleons a month if he would help them test new products.

“Just hang on Ron.” George said in a near panic, the antidote they had created didn’t work, and the large boils on Ron’s face and arms were growing larger and beginning to ooze everywhere.

“Try this” The two Boys frantically rubbed the lotion all over the boils which stopped oozing instantly.

“Whew.” Fred whipped his brow. Just then every single boil exploded covering everything in the nasty ooze. “Well, at least their gone.” George said whipping his face.

We Gotta Pick up the Pace

“He is pacing again.” James told Sirius. They were standing behind a statue looking at their map trying to decide on the best route to get to the shrieking shack. It was time for Lupin to go into hiding again, and they were running out of time.

“Filtch is on the seventh floor, let’s go.” Sirius said as the boys started out. They ran down the hallway turned the corner and had the statue of the hump-backed lady in their sights. The started walking towards it when suddenly they heard, “Filtch! Proffesor! I have found them!” Too late they realized that Snape had snuck up on them. Stunning him, Sirius and James shoved Lupin down into the passage way before Snape could recover and see where they had went.

Remember

“I love you, Pumpkin” Ron said trying to quell her anger. “Look what I got for you!” He said conjuring beautiful Long stem Roses behind his back. Hermione glared at him and transfigured the roses into a bouquet of snakes.

He screamed a quickly dropped them, following after her. “I didn’t forget, honey!” he said hoping that she would turn right.
“Right.” She said as she turned right. Suddenly she stopped short, her breath taken away by the beautiful candle-lit dinner. “See.” Was all he said, as he took her into his arms. “I remembered.”

Only a Dream

The sound of Luna’s roaring Lion could be heard around the quidditch pitch above even the sounds of the screaming, cheering, jeering and booing students watching the game.

It was the Quidditch Cup final game: Slytherin versus Gryffindor. Harry was circling high above the match, occasionally diving down fast, then coming back up just to throw Draco off.

Suddenly Draco shot down in a steep dive.

“Yeah right.” Harry though laughing, “Like I am going to fall for that.” He smirked.

Above the cheers he heard, “Draco Malfoy has caught the snitch, for the first time ever, and Slytherin wins the cup!”

“What?!” He roared sitting bolt up right in bed. It had only been a dream.

A Real Knee Slapper
“Wow Hermione! That’s a real knee slapper!” Ron laughed sarcastically as he slapped his elbow.

“You know what Ron?” Hermione asked through gritted teeth.

“I have no idea, but I am sure you are going to tell me!” To most people, he sounded like he was teasing, but Hermione, Ginny and Harry could tell that he was exceptionally angry. That and he had an very angry look on his face.

“You need to stop right now!” Hermione yelled almost in tears.

“Oh no, your not upset are you?” Ron asked with Mock concern, “Well, why don’t you go cry on Vickie’s shoulder.” He bellowed as he stormed away.

A Real Hot Head

“Untie me!” Ron screamed in anger.

“Not until you listen to me!” Hermione insisted. “There is nothing going on with me and Victor, Ron.”

“There is nothing going on with me and Victor, Ron.” Ron mimicked back at her in a high-pitched sneer. “Yeah right!” He screamed again, “you agreed to go see him, at his house! At his HOUSE!!!” he reiterated, beginning to grow hoarse from his screams of furry.

“Let me go!” He bellowed again, shaking his chair and toppling it over.

“No.” Hermione said calmly, as she walked out of the dungeon. “And scream all you want, no one will here you. I will be back when you have calmed down.” And with that she slammed the door, plunging Ron into darkness.
