81. DepressionHolidays. Scorpius sat in his bedroom quietly, although there was a whole Manor to run amuck in whilst everyone was out he didn’t want to. He didn’t want to do anything besides curl up in his bed and sleep for days. He heard the large door open down stairs but he didn’t move. He heard voices talking, possibly calling out to him but again he didn’t move. He didn’t move until he heard a knock at the door and Grandpa Malfoy came in. ”Now Scorpius, don’t be ridiculous-“ Lucious started but Draco had interrupted him ”I can handle this dad” He said, waiting for him to leave the room before sitting on the bed next to Scorpius and cradling him as he sobbed over Grandma Malfoy’s death.

29. PensieveFourth Year ”Pensieves are really interesting aren’t they?” Socprius heard a dreaded voice that had basically stalked him for the past three years but he looked up anyway.
Should’ve known. Lily Potter. ”Sure. I guess” he said before looking back down at his homework, hoping she’d go away.
BUT NO. Lily quickly took a seat beside him. ”Like you can look into the past and stuff” she said, making that weird face Al had once told him was her “veela face”
Before he knew it there was a head on his shoulder, this caused him to jump up and run out of the library yelling something about ”emergency Quidditch practise!”

Scorpius burst into the Slytherin dorms and yelled ”YOUR SISTER JUST TRIED TO KILL ME!”
Albus looked up and raised an eyebrow at his friend who was now doubled over panting. ”I highly doubt she tried to kill you” ”She made the veela face AND put her head my shoulder, whilst talking about pensieves” he said between gasps. ”That bad?” He asked and Scorpius nodded frantically. ”I’ll get Hugo to talk to her” ”But he doesn’t like me, he won’t do me a favour. Get James to do it” he protested ”He won’t do it either” Al said with a shake of his head

Quidditch; continuedFourth Year ”What did I do to him?” Scorpius asked, looking confused. ”Slytherin won against Gryffindor remember” Al said and Scorpius couldn’t help but feel at a bit smug considering he WAS a chaser in that game of Quidditch. ”Right, um, what about Lysander?” Scorpius asked. ”Not likely, if Hugo won’t then Lysander won’t either” Al said giving up and going back to his homework. ”I know Rose won’t, what about you? You talk to Lily” ”uh, no” Al said not lifting his gaze ”Why not?” ”She’d never forgive me AND mum would kill me” he said with a small eye roll.
With that, Scorpius flopped face first on his bed and groaned ”I swear she’s gonna kill me”

89. PastPost Hogwarts The image of a small boy walking in what seemed to be a forest was fuzzy, but it was still easy to make out what was happening. Well, for Scorpius it was. The small boy was running, as fast as his legs would carry him and his backpack.
He looked only about five, he slowed down looked behind him then sat down under a large tree to catch his breath. He tried to stop breathing loudly because his father had always warned him about what could be in there on a night like such but he couldn’t
A shadow started moving in the distance and Scorpius pulled his head out of the pensieve. He had hardly thought about that night until then.

30. FeastSeventh Year. The blonde head boy had decided to take a walk around the grounds before heading in to feast himself on chocolate cake, recently he had gotten into the habit mainly because he was leaving awfully soon. It wasn’t until he noticed a familiar head of hair did he stop thinking about chocolate cake and headed towards the person.
He figured it was over one of the douches that she had been dating or something, and in all honesty, Scorpius had NO interests in comforting her over such things, if anything he wanted to say ‘told you so’. But either way he sat down beside her and grabbed her hand praying to God that her brother wasn’t around. He did NOT, want to get punched.

61. Kiss; sort of continued.Seventh Year. Yes, Scorpius was feeling quite smug, even at the early hour of 11am in the morning also known as the crack of dawn. He dressed quickly and made his way to the great hall and took a seat across from his best friend Albus, still with a smug look on his face. ”Where were you last night? We were supposed to make the house elves prepare a chocolate feast for us!” Al said pointing the butter knife accusingly at Scorpius. ”I snogged your cousin” he said quietly but proudly. ”I’m not sure if I should punch you for snogging my cousin or punch you for taking seven years to do it”

He stopped and leaned against a wall to catch his breath before hearing a voice behind him. ”Let me guess, the Potter girl again?” An old portrait said behind him and Scorpius nodded, before seeing head of red hair come around the corner and he whispered to the portrait ”save me” but it turned out it was Rose “And you still want to know why I won’t go with you?” she asked ”You think I choose to have her scare the heck out of me?”

Chicken Fourth Year ”You’re an idiot” Albus said from the shore of the Black Lake. ”You’re going to die never have done anything interesting in your life” Scorpius yelled back, wading throw the shallows of the lake. ”Scorpius, you are going to get killed by that stupid squid” ”And you’re a chicken” Scorpius said turning around and impersonating a chicken ”I’m not saving your sorry behind” ”You won’t need to. The squid’s so old it probably died or something” Scorpius said, no longer impersonating a chicken. ”That’s what you said about the Whomping Willow” Al pointed out. ”but that was a tree!” Scorpius yelled before he felt something grab onto his leg and pulled him under only for a moment, and as soon as it let go he ran back up onto the shore. ”Why did you let me do that? I could’ve died”

He needed to talk to her. ”What is it moron?” Rose asked, she didn’t want to be late for her date with Tom because of friggin Malfoy. ”I need you to do something for me” He said, quickly looking around to make sure no one was around. ”What is it?” ”Can you keep Lily away from me? She scares the bageebers outa me” ”You’re scared by my cousin?” Rose asked, looking somewhat amused. ”Yes, yes I am” ”Fine. I’ll do my best” she said starting to laugh and walk away but Scorpius quickly hugged her, which was weird, before running off in the opposite direction and yelling out ”THANKS WEASLEY!”

50. BoggartHolidays Scorp loved finding new places in his house even though he’d lived there his whole life. He was exploring the library when he saw a book that looked a bit out of place and pulled it out. Before he knew it the bookcase moved revealing a door. There was absolutely no hesitation in opening the door but it took him less than a millisecond to shut it and run away. ”DAD?! WHY ARE LILY POTTER AND A STAMPEDE OF MOOSE IN THE LIBRARY?!” He yelled still running from the door.
Well I guess we all know there was a Boggart in there.

He gaped. Like seriously. ”Shut your mouth before you attract flies” she said, whacking him on the arm. ”You look stunning” was all he could think of to say, was this even Rose Weasley? IT WAS AN IMPOSTER! ”amazing what a good set of dress robes can do” she said smugly before adding ”you don’t look half bad in a tux”

(I’ve decided fourth year is going
to be Scorpius’ "rebellious" year) There were two boys sneaking through the dungeons, one with dark hair the other with a black hoodie on to hide his blonde hair. In their hands they each held a wand and a torch. They hadn’t wanted to run the risk of muttering spells and possibly attracting Peeves, so torches had to do. ”We are going to get caught” the dark hair one whispered at his friend ”We will if you don’t shut up” the other whispered back ”Well, well, well. What have we got here?” OH NO ”STUDENTS OUT OF BED!

This is the 14th wand you’ve tried” he asked, taking the wand off the boy. ”Does it not feel right?” ”Well no” ”Then what is it?” ”Isn’t it obvious?” he waited a moment ”There was no music playing in the background when I held it”

Scorpius, of course, hadn’t been fully listening but got up either way and made his way over to the table with a shoe on it with the rest of his class. It looked nothing special. So he reached out to touch it ”Mister Malfoy DO NOT tou-“ but he was too late
Scorpius fell on his behind in the middle of nowhere before picking up the shoe again and muttering ”there’s no place like home. There’s no place like home” what? Maybe the muggles had been onto something.

He was sure he had seen something. ”Nothing” she muttered, pulling on her sleeve as to hide the bruise from sight. But Malfoy simply rolled it back up again. ”Did MClaggen do that to you?” ”No” she said pulling her sleeve back down again. ”Then who did?” Now he was confused. If it wasn’t MClaggen, who was it? Hugo? ”None of your business” Rose hissed starting to pack up her stuff to get away from him.

Unless it was someone more in shape than him, then maybe he’d tell James about it. ”Shove off, Malfoy” Rose said as she heard his footsteps through the corridor. ”Just tell me who it was” he said managing to catch up with her. ”I don’t need you to beat him up for me. I don’t need you to do anything for me.” she spat, before saying ”I need to do my homework or I’m gonna be roasted, SO GO AWAY!”

Blame Zabini, he always wants to know where you are” he said defensively I had to look something up for Ancient Runes” she said lamely ”You had no books out” ”Why does it matter so much anyway?”

You wanna know?” ”No I’ve just harassed you for the past five minutes because I couldn’t care less” Scorpius said sarcastically, only to receive a whack on the arm from Rose. ”Thomas was angry because Slytherin beat Gryffindor in Quidditch and then he couldn’t figure out something to do with Astronomy and yeah” Rose said extremely quickly because she really didn’t want to talk about it with Scorpius, or with anyone.

Well. Scorpius had to think for a moment, before actually opening his mouth ”Well he does have a short temper. I mean, I saw him on the Quidditch pitch. Can’t extinguish that fire easily” he said awkwardly because in all honesty there was no way in the world he’d be able to beat up Thomas MClaggen. Better find James. ”You’re just making the situation worse” Rose said grumpily, starting to walk off but Scorpius followed again. ”You dumped him, right?” Well she had been known to make some stupid decisions from time to time.
Rose gave him a quick glare before replying ”Obviously” holding up her wrist. She wasn;t that thick.

26. QuillFourth Year Scorpius was shivering his behind off but he had to send a letter to his father. So he quickly took out a quill and a bit of spare parchment and wrote. Dear Father.
I was wondering if I would be able to spend the Christmas Holidays with Albus and his family. Albus invited me earlier today. But if not could I at least spend a bit of time at the Potter’s? Albus and I have to make plans on how to best annoy teachers and not get caught.
Also, don’t tell Grandfather. He’ll kill me.

He always forgets that he can’t fly through glass” ”His name’s Errol, not ‘my uncle’s owl’” Harry said opening the window for the owl to come in. ”what’s Uncle Percy want anyway?” Al said ignoring the Errol comment. He always forget the stupid bird’s name. ”Wants to know if we’re going to Nana Weasley’s for Christmas”
