Waltzing the corridors, faint mutterings of two familiar enemies could be heard. Draco smirked and approached them;
"Hermione - what lesson do you have next?" Said Ron Weasley, scruffling up his red hair.
"Arithmancy!" She replied excitably. "Oh, you should have taken it, Ron! It's fantastic!" But the boy didn't look too interested.
"That's a bit sad isn't it?" Draco approached and interupted their conversation. "Getting soo excited over a lesson? I'm surprised you even understand what us magical folk do, as you were raised by muggles and all."
"You're just jealous because Arithmancy is too hard for you."
With a snarl, Draco wandered off to Charms. A much easier lesson indeed.

..... "Dare." Blaise Zabini said, with his eyes narrowed upon his blonde haired opponent.
After a moment of consideration, Draco smirked and snapped his fingers as he finally thought of something. "I dare you to..." Pause for dramatic effect. "... Kiss Granger." Mwahaha, what a nasty dare.
"WHAT, no way!" Blaise said immediately, shaking his head. Now he just had to find a way to make Draco feel bad.
"Wimp! WIIIIMP!"
"You talk about Granger a lot, you know. I'm starting to think that you FANCY her."
Blink blink. Draco shut up straight away. The thought disgusted him.

Draco waltzed into Honeydukes, with his crew of Slytherin frineds following behind him. "Go and get some chocolate frogs for me, would you?" He directed his question to Pansy Parkinson. Meh, she'd do anything for Draco.
When she had finally collected a huge bundle of chocolate frogs, she placed them on the counter and Draco placed some Bertie Bott Every Flavour Beans down too. With that, he dug into his pocket and pulled out a bag of Sickles.
"Blimey, Draco. Where did that come from?" Pansy asked in astonishment. Yes, Draco was rich, but who knew that he brought all the money to school with him.
"When your parents are as rich and powerful as mine are, you get these privilages, you see?" Draco smirked.

"Oooh, you passed Charms. Big deal - that class is easy." Draco remarked towards Hermione as she gloated about passing the class. With an eye roll in her direction, he picked up his books and headed for the door.
"Windardium Leviosa!" Hermione shrieked with her wand pointing at Draco's chest. His books floated into the air, leaving Draco reaching up and jumping to reach them.
"This isn't funny, Granger. Get my books down NOW!" He replied angrily to her laughter.
"I thought you said Charms was easy? Get them down yourself." And with that, Hermione left the room whilst Draco still desperately tried to retrieve his books.

Waving around his shiny new dragonhide gloves, Draco shot a smug glance at a bunch of Gryffindors, then looked back towards his fellow Slytherins.
"Great, aren't they? Father bought me them, even though we don't need them until our fifth year." He explained, like it was ground-breaking news or something.
"Oh, yes, they're amazing." Ron called sarcastically down the room. "But if we don't need them until fifth year, what's the point in having them?"
"For extra protection, Weasley. Clearly, my safety is far more important than other... scum they have floating around in this place." He put on his gloves and smirked at Ron, before leaving him with his 'non-dragonhide-glove-owner' self.
Ron needed to write down a memo; 'Buy second hand dragonhide gloves'.

Wasn't being a child amazing? Not having a care in the world about anything. And just living to have fun..
At 5 years old, that was exactly what young Draco Malfoy was doing.. just being a kid. Before all of the Slytherin and Gryffindor rivalry had even occurred for him.
"WHEEEEEE!" He squealed, with some sort of pot over his head. It was covering his eyes, and he was surely about to bash into a wall.
"Draco! Put daddy's cauldron back!" Shouted his mother, Narcissa, in an almost panicky tone.
With that, Draco yanked the cauldron off from his head immediately and placed it neatly to where he found it. Daddy would never know, hehe.

"Alright, Malfoy. Truth or dare?" Ron Weasley said across the table. That's right... Slytherin vs. Gryffindor!! Yaay.
"Dare." Draco smirked. Eh, it couldn't be that bad, and he had to prove that he wasn't a pathetic little wimp. Because that's what most people thought of him.
"I dare you to carve your name into a tree." The red headed boy smiled, and so did Draco.
"HA! You call that a dare!? Fine, i'll do it." He got up, but Ron grabbed his arm as he did so..

Like he would do THAT. Draco sat back down with a huff, "Pass." He muttered. As much as he would love his legendary name written on a legendary tree, it would basically kill him.

It was the second day at Hogwarts. First year, Draco Malfoy wandered the corridors, surprisingly alone. He wouldn't deny that he was nervous.
"BOO!" Came a voice from out of nowhere. Young Draco almost fell face first onto the ground.
"W-w-who is t-that?" He stuttered, looking around frantically. There wasn't anybody here. Maybe it was a ghost?!
"Over here!"
"No, over here!"
With a few seconds of frantic spinning and twirling, Draco caught a glimpse of a portrait sniggering. Ohhh, they were all having a little practical joke now, were they? Very funny. Draco snarled, then dashed away. Very quickly.

"Draco, come here and see this newspaper!" Blaise insisted in a fast paced tone. It was as if the world was about to end with the way he was going on.
"Am I in it?" The blonde replied, relaxed and firmly sitting on the sofa without moving a muscle.
"No.... But your mum is."
Draco jumped up quickly and grabbed the newspaper from his friend. Blah blah blahh.... PSH, there wasn't anything about his mother in there. He got up for nothing. Instead, headline read:
'He Who Must Not Be Named Returns'
"Come back to me when we get some actual DECENT news, okay?" He rolled his eyes. AS IF that headline was true. Psh, nah. Draco fell back onto the sofa.

Any outsider of Hogwarts would be jealous of all the young witches and wizards that attended the school. I mean, come on, it was HOGWARTS. But for some, it was wasted excitement and most of the time, there wasn't anything interesting to do.
These kind of thoughts were mainly found within the dungeons, inside the Slytherin common room.
Draco Malfoy sat upon the Slytherin couch, tapping his feet lightly on the floor. In his hands, was a large wod of cash. He smiled at the sight, but a sigh followed. What was the point in being rich when he lived in this boring school?
He might as well be a Weasley.

31. Dress robes
Some may say it was impossible. But at this moment in time, Draco Malfoy felt over-dressed and... embarrassed!? It wasn't his fault that his parents automatically bought him the most expensive dress robes in the Wizarding World. It should be an honour really. Yet another way to prove how he was better than everyone else.
Draco loitered outside of the Great Hall, narrowing his eyes on all the people who were staring at him. Then, as if God was trying to cheer him up, Ron Weasley appeared.
Snigger.
"Hey, Weasel face. Those are some real nice dress robes you have there." He laughed, then walked inside the hall with his usual confident swagger.

22. Kneazle
One thing that you can always find at Hogwarts, was the insane amount of animals running around the place. Cats, dogs, toads, owls, etc... Basically, Hogwarts was a bad place to be if you were afraid of animals.
"Get this cat away from me!!" Draco said, flailing his arms around like a lunatic. Pansy Parkinson rushed forwards and retreived the animal.
"Actually, it is a Kneazle. And he is lovely." She snuggled the furry thing. Draco's eyes narrowed. Cats... Kneazles... Kneazles... Cats... What was the difference? Like, really?
"I don't even care if it is a dinosaur, just keep it away from me!" And with that, he stormed off.

23. Telescope
Astronomy. Not a favourite lesson to many people, but occasionally, it was quite interesting.
Draco Malfoy had already found interest when he discovered that you could re-name stars if you had the cash. He was definitely going to do it. But today, they were just looking up into the sky with the school's shiny telescopes.
The blonde wandered straight to his assigned telescope and looked straight up into the sky, whilst his other classmates were still fiddling around with it. They were all confused.
"Mr Malfoy, you're looking very confident with that telescope there."
He smirked. Draco had his own high-tec telescope since he was 3 years old.

Mmmmkay, Diagon Alley was ALWAYS a busy place, but there were times when things just got plainly ridiculous.
Trying to get into Scribbulus Ever Changing Inks, Draco pushed past about 20 people to get through the front door. And to be honest, it was weird. He would expect this sort of thing in Ollivanders but.... here??
After about 10 minutes of waiting in line and pushing people out of the way, Draco approached the counter and sighed with relief.
"I would like a Quill please."
All that fuss over a stupid Quill. He could have got one taylor-made especially for him quicker than that.

A snowy owl? Well, that could only be one person's owl, right?

Draco found Hedwig, just sitting casually in the Hogwarts Grounds. Random, eh? But he took the pretty owl back to his common room, where he could do the unthinkable. He transfigured one of his woolly hats into a fluffy pink one. One that would fit an owl. 
Okay, he wouldn't do anymore animal abuse, like putting a cardigan on it too, heh. This would do perfectly. Now, where was he going to put Hedwig? ......Got it.
...On the Gryffindor common room's doorstep.

A group of Slytherins were sitting very silently in the Great Hall, studying. Draco Malfoy was twiddling his Quill around his fingers, then took a look around at the huge room. It was so much better when he wasn't at school. He hated it here.
"I wish I had a time machine." He said randomly to the silent group. Maybe time machines didn't exist, but there was another option for wizarding folk, a timeturner..
Too bad Draco Malfoy had never heard of one. *facepalm*

With a SLAM of his bedroom door, Draco was taking a stand as he had just had a huge argument with his mother. It was rare that he would ever back chat his parents, but at 11 years old, it was inevitable occasionally.
He knew that his arguing was going to get himself a punishment. It made him shudder. Right on cue, he heard stomps up the stairs. Stomps from his father.
"BOY! You are grounded and will not receiving pocket money for a week." Lucius Malfoy growled firmly from outside his door.

Everybody was waiting patiently in the Great Hall, most people twiddling their knives and forks. Moments later, the four tables filled with every kind of food imaginable. Not a lot of healthy options though...
The blonde's nose turned upwards at the food, then he watched as every other Slytherin gobbled it all down like animals.
"You aren't having any, Draco?" His new friend, Pansy asked.
"I could never eat such garbage. My family only endure the best, you know.." He bragged, eyeing a chicken wing. Oh, what the hey. As soon as Pansy looked away, Draco grabbed it, and ate it quickly. Nommyyy!

Professor Snape's office. Even for a Slytherin, it was a pretty scary place to be. He wasn't in any trouble, but Draco was practically Snape's right hand man. Or top student, or whatever. His eyes danced around the room, then he spotted some strange, well-lit bowl.
Sparkle, sparkle.
Draco watched as something silvery swam around in the bowl-type thing, and his face naturally went closer, and closer, and.... YANK! An arm thrust the blonde backwards. Dumbstruck, his eyes met with Snape's. FEAR!
"You should really be thankful that you are a Slytherin. Now get out!" Draco scurried away frightfully without a word. Oh, Merlin.

As soon as the word left the sorting hat's mouth, Draco's smile stretched across his face. This was all to be expected, all Malfoy's were Slytherin. If Draco was any different, then shame would be brought on his entire family.
After the feast and all of the celebrations, the blonde followed his new classmates towards the common room. A place he had only imagined up until this point. The Prefects introduced the room to the new snakes, and Draco smiled.
The Slytherin common room. Draco Malfoy's new home for the year. He betted with himself that it was better than Gryffindors'.

It was Christmas time at Hogwarts, and even though Draco usually went home for this festive date, he decided to stay for his fourth year. Just to see what it was like to spend it with his friends.
Blaise opened one of his presents sent from home, whilst Draco anxiously eyed his own sitting further away. Ugh, why did he have to watch Blaise open his rubbish presents?

There was an awkward silence in the common room, which was soon interrupted by Draco's laughing. This was a perfect opportunity for some serious bragging now.

Nobody knew why Professor Snape was taking over Lupin's class today, but Draco wasn't complaining. This was what it should be like. Snape teaching DADA.
"Does anybody know the difference between an animagus and a werewolf?" Snape asked solemnly. Obviously, Granger's hand shot right up. And she did answer, but Draco wasn't listening.
"Psssst." Blaise whispered, catching Draco's attention. "What would you be, if you were an animagus?" Hmmm..
"A massive tiger, cause then I'd be the strongest living person in the world." Right?

Second year, and Draco Malfoy was a Seeker for the Slytherin Quidditch Team. YEAH, maybe Potter made it in his first year, but who cared about that? Not him.
The team were sitting in the Great Hall, when suddenly a dozen of owls came swooping in with large parcels tucked under their beaks. They dropped all of the parcels, and the team opened them up quickly with anticipation.
STAAAAAARE.
Draco looked smug.

"What house are you in?" Shrieked a first year student to another. How unfortunate for them that a couple of fourth year Slytherins were to wander by at that point.
"Guess. ROOOOOOOOOARRRRRR!"
On that note, Draco Malfoy walked by and shoved the first year onto the floor. Anyone who bragged about being in Gryffindor needed a bit of a push. The blondes friends laughed hysterically, but Draco stayed looking cool.
"Wow, aren't you a big tough lion?" He said sarcastically. Hehh.
