--------------------------------------------------------------------------- 6. Divination-Using your inner eye "Maybe it's going to be foggy today." Caroline said as she stared into the crystal ball. How was she supposed to see anything through all the fog or smoke whatever that was. "Use your inner eye to look into the future" The Professor told the class. "Use your inner eye!?" Caroline questioned that so many times in her Divination lesson. She turned to the red headed Ravenclaw boy sitting beside her. "Can you use your inner eye to help me with this?" She asked trying to hold in a laugh.
The Ravenclaw said nothing. he just blinked at her.

95. Snowball
Caroline's pet owl snowball had been gone for several months now. Caroline never expected to see the owl again. But then again Caroline had sent a letter to her sister in New York and some cookies with a note to her brother in Taiwan at the end of the last term. She had been home about most of the time he has been missing. Caroline had to use the family owl, Russell a mean old barn owl that took forever to send and receive messages and things. One day Caroline was outside riding her horse Katty. When she seen snowball arriving with a very important letter.

"Caroline, are you sure you want to be a healer?" Sarah asked. Caroline as she petted her horse, Katty.
"Yes, I want to be a healer. Why on earth would you ask me a question like that?" She raising her eyebrows and putting her hands on her hips.
"Well, Caroline I think that you should be the Care of Magical Creatures Professor." Sarah told her.
"What? Me a Professor?" She shook her head frantically. “No way. Never. Why do you ask?”
She laughed the thought of as a professor.
“You’re great with animals, and you know tons about them.” Sarah smiled. Caroline smiled back Sarah is going to be a great sister-in-law

"I know I haven’t seen you since the train.” Carter grinned at her. “So how has your summer been so far?”

Caroline came into Starr's room showing off her new dress that she bought.
"Oh Merlin's pants. What are you wearing a plaid dress? What is so 1990 something or something like that?" Starr rolled her eyes.
"Oh I think I look awesome” She danced around a bit. Around Starr’s bed
“I think you look like Hannah Montana” Starr laughed.

43. Headmaster
Caroline couldn't believe that she was sitting at yet another end of term feast. The past two had been very emotional for her seeing her brother two years ago leave and her sister left last year. She only had a two more start of and end of term feast.
This year had really been the best year ever for Caroline. She walked into the great hall and went to the Slytherin house table. She would start there no telling what house table she would be at next. There were so many people that she wanted to say goodbye too. She turned to listen to the Headmasters Speech.

Caroline was very excited that Casey got her an ipod. She sat in the kitcken, listening to it.She bobbed her head to the music. She sing loudly.
"Caroline, Caroline. Caroline!" Casey shouted. finally realizing that she had her earphones in. He grabbed the strings of the earphones and pulled them out of her ears.
“OUCH! Jerk what was that for?” Stupid mean meany older brother. “That hurt.”

"Samira, you wanted me to teach you how to duel, right?" She asked her, she remember Samira telling her that she wanted to learn more advanced things. For a second year dueling sounded pretty advanced.
“Sure if you still want to.” she said. She knew that Caroline was busy with sixth year things but Caroline had always made time for Samira if she needed help or wanted to learn new things.

Destiny’s eyes widen as she was being offered a piece. She eyed Caroline. There was no way that she would not accept a piece of chocolate. She nibbled on the chocolate. “That’s good chocolate. What makes it so good?” she asked.

Caroline and Kita sat in a café as a very handsome man walked in. Caroline grinned at Kita. They had been best friends for so long.
“No way, I‘m not going over there and talk to him” Kita giggled. Caroline was still making that face as if daring her to go talk to the man.
“Well I‘m not the single girl at this table” Caroline smirked.
“But…. But.” Kita rolled her eyes. “I… grr fine.”

Caroline and her partner in crime, Katie had it all planned out. They went up to Casey’s room, one night while he was asleep. They were ready with a rope. Making sure that he was asleep they worked quickly tying the ropes around the mattress and Casey to the mattress. Katie put her hand out to gave Caroline a high five.
“I‘d love to see him get out of that.” Katie giggled quietly.
“I don‘t see how he can untie himself from this.” She snickered. That was he gets for giving them a bat-bogey hex when they couldn’t defend there under selves.

Caroline watched as Carter poked the plant. Herbology was Caroline's worst subjects. On top of that the whole nearly losing her finger to a toadstool totally ruined the love for the subject. But she needed to finish this assignment, lucky for her Carter didn’t mind poking the puss filled plant.
“Eww that’s gross.” She said and making a gagging noise as puss oozed out of the plant.
“I can’t believe that you couldn’t do this yourself.” He said, shaking his head, and chuckling.

4. Ancient Runes
Ancient Runes was one of Caroline's favorite subjects. It was challenging and interesting. Plus all of the symbols were pretty awesome. That is until she has a very important essay to write. Then it’s no longer colorful rainbows and pretty butterflies. She nibbled on her uninked quill as she stared at the blank parchment. The essay was due it just a few hours and she hadn’t even started yet. She tapped her foot and put the quill down. Rubbing her hands together trying to warm them or at least give her an idea of what to write about. It must have worked because she started writing.

8. Potions
Caroline absolutely loves Potions class. She really doesn’t understand why more people don’t like potions. It’s almost like baking. Which is another thing that she loves. What could be easier you just have to put everything in the right amount, the right order everything just has to be right. Another thing that she didn’t understand is why everyone was afraid of the potions lady? She was awesome in Caroline’s book. Maybe because she was her head of house, she got along with her better than. Caroline was happy to be back at school and have Potions lessons again. She skipped through the dungeons to the classroom.

"So who are all of these Portraits of?" Carter asked walking through the halls of Belle Vue, Caroline's house.
“Family, but mostly my brother and sister and me.” She said with a giggle. She looked totally goofy in that one. “There‘s one of me and my first piano practice,”

81. Depression
If there was one thing that Caroline couldn't stand it was depression. She couldn't stand when people were depressed or she was depressed. She couldn’t stand when her friends were depressed. Being around depressed people made Caroline depressed, and she doesn’t like being depressed. The best thing for someone being depressed is ice cream, because ice cream makes everything better especially being depressed. Unfortunately at the moment she was depressed. And she wanted some ice cream. The reason why she was depressed is because she was grounded for the rest of the summer and wasn’t allowed to leave the house.

“You mean that that weirdo is going to be teaching us Defense Against the Dark Arts” Caroline said pacing that grass. This was some crazy joke that someone was pulling.
“That‘s what it looks like. It‘s mad. Completely mad.” Kyle said shaking her head. Kyle was now also pacing the grass.
“It‘s not going to be same as Headmaster Tate‘s Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons. ” She frowned it would be all ministry approved.

Caroline looked up and seen a white speck coming toward her. As it got closer she could tell that is was Snowball her owl. The owl landed beside of her with a letter attached to her leg. Taking the letter and giving the very tired looking owl a treat she ripped the envelope open. And pulled out a blank piece of parchment. That was strange who would send her a blank parchment? It hit her, Starr! Now what was the spell to get invisible ink to appear. She couldn’t remember, it had been so long since she used it.
“Aparecium” she pointed her wand at the letter.

Caroline went up to the kitchen, late one night. She was busy working on homework and missed dinner. She walked into the kitchen to get some food. She took a seat at one of the tables. She really wasn’t in to mood to cook for herself. A house elf came up to her. She told him that she wanted a plate of pasta. After a few minutes the house elf came back with a huge plate of pasta teeming at the sides.
Caroline smiled and laughed, at the elf as he put the plate on the table, “Where's Carter when you need him?"

45. Torch
Caroline stared down at the box of letters, pictures, and whatever else she had saved from the past year and a half. She debated on whether or not she really wanted to do this or not. Even the scarf that he gotten her Christmas was in the box. Wiping a few tears from her face. She lit a torch with her wand. The moved the touch down to the box. Stopping right before the flame hit the contents. She just couldn’t do it. Removing the scarf from the box. And putting the flame on the touch she slid the box back under her bed.
