The blonde Malfoy drummed her fingers against the Herbology table anxiously as she glanced at her watch. She couldn't wait for this class to be over. It was excruciating. Watching the hands of her watch move in slow motion just made her tap faster and louder. Please, be over, thought Emma as she frowned and continued tapping. The blonde wanted to be anywhere but in this class.
“ Miss Malfoy! Pay attention and stop that drumming NOW. That is the warning before I take ten points away from Slytherin,” warned the Professor. Emma sighed and nodded. What else could she do? | |

The only time Emma ever saw the Headmaster was during the feasts. He seemed like an overly busy man who kept to himself. Each year, she had watched his hair become more grey as he watched her become taller and taller. On the eve of her graduation, she finally had a conversation with the Headmaster. “Miss Malfoy,” he said as he approached her. He shook her head. “Don’t ever forget that you are worthy. You don’t need to prove yourself to the world. The only person you can prove yourself too is yourself. Best of luck. You will be terrific.”

Note: Ye Olde Holm themed- The time that Emma thought she was a pirate captain.
She led the charge into the cave. Braeden, Ellie, Alfie, and Deus followed shortly behind. They needed to get some shelter from the hot rays of sun that were burning them and a cool cave seemed like the best option at the moment.
After a couple minutes of walking in the dark, Captain Emma stopped. “First mate Braeden! Do ye have any torches?”
“Torches? Ummm…” he said, sending a quick glance at the rest of the gang to help him out.
All of a sudden, Alfie appeared with a torch. “You mean this, Captain?”
“Thank ye. Now where’s me ship?”

Emma entered the Slytherin Common Room and dropped her backpack on the ground, collapsing into the comfy couch beside her best friend. “Selena, how do you yodel?”
Selena grinned happily. “Like….” She took a deep breath.
“Oh-di-lay-ee-ay, di-lay-dee-oh, de-lay-ee!” interrupted a voice. The two girls sank further into the couch and hid from whoever was making that noise.
“What was that?” asked Emma.
“Oh-di-lay-ee-ay, di-lay-dee-oh!” The noise continued. Selena’s eyes widened. This was the end.
“Oh-di-lay-ee-ay, di-lay-dee-oh, de-lay-ee. Oh hey ladies!” smirked Alexander Reed as he walked past.
“Emma, hold that really nice thought. I’m off to get my revenge.”

The blonde raised her eyebrows. “Umm, okay, why?”

Sighing, Emma placed the novel on the bedside table and folded her arms. “He doesn’t like Braeden.”
“Emma…”
“No, mother! I’m sick and tired of this. Draco gets to go do whatever he wants and I’m always here following rules. I’m going to fight for what I want. I’m not going to see David nor will I ever marry him.”

"Hello, beautiful." Emma jumped slightly when she heard that voice. Braeden was here and she would play right along with his joke. "You wouldn't happen to be expecting a tall, lanky boy would you?" he continued, "I saw him on my way here and I must say, I am much more handsome, you should dump him and run off with me." The boy wiggled his eyebrows at Emma.
Closing her book, she chuckled. “Oh really? Run off with you?" she joked and then winked at him rather playfully. "Give me fifty good reasons why I should do that Mr. Smooth.”

After successfully polyjuicing into Alfiana Port, Emma began to roam the castle grounds. She went to the Whomping Willow first of all because she didn’t think that anyone that Alfie knew would be there. Oh but she had been so wrong. She noticed Theodore Dumble flirting with random Hufflepuffs.
Zap!
Something changed within Alfie Port. Emma could feel it. So Alfie had feelings for Theo? “Hi Theo!” she said rather nervously.
Theodore (or should we say Braeden?) looked around rather confused. Then his eyes widened in realization. He nodded. “"Uh--uh--uh--yes! It is I! Theodore!”
Alfie laughed.

Emma and Braeden walked hand in hand. It had been a long day spent exploring the castle with Alfie and Theo. She frowned slightly as she thought about it being one of the last days Brama would spend together as students. “What’s up?” asked Braeden.
“Uh nothing. Don’t worry.” She gave him a grin and then turned back to see Alfredore holding hands. Her eyebrows rose and she quickly glanced at Brae. "I knew it!”
Braeden winked at her. “Let’s give them some alone time.” He squeezed her hand and the two ran eloped away to spend some time together.

Emma pulled out her secret stash of candy and sat on her bed. It had been an average day so the blonde had figured that the only way to make this day better would be to have some delicious candy. A couple younger girls came into the dormitory and eyed the bag of candy that she had. Being as nice as she was, Emma offered them some. “Here,” she said, handing the bag out towards them.
“Thanks!” they said.
The bag was empty when Emma got it back.
Pout. That was the last time she was giving out her candy.

“A little. What colour do you think would work best for the invitations?” she asked. She held up the two colours. “White or cream?”
He got up from the sofa, pulling Emma into an embrace. Pursing his lips, he eyed the option. “White.”

She had found her boyfriend skinny dipping with Ruby Blair of all people. What was worse about the whole she-bang was when Ruby had piped up about Braeden promising to leave her. What?  That wouldn’t happen would it. Braeden wouldn’t do that. He loved her, didn’t he? So hurt, she had glanced at him speechless.
Ruby went on and on. The anger built up inside of Emma and she cracked. She pushed the Lioness into the Lake. Emma smirked. She had wanted to do that for ages.

She scrambled out of her bed, slipped into a bathrobe, and grabbed the fire extinguisher that they kept under the sink. She ran out into the kitchen and saw her friend flailing by the smoking oven. “Step back, Selena. I’ve got this,” she said.
After the work was done, Selena beamed. “Yay! So that’s how you use it?”
“Yes. Wait. Did you set it on fire on purpose?”
“Of course not, it was just a happy accident.”

Today was the day that Selena Zabini Riddle would get back on a broomstick. With a handful of muggle and magical candies, Emma and Nikolas teamed up to decorate an old broomstick. Heh. Today, their friend would fly again.
So they had spent months designing the plan and figuring out which candies were Selena’s favourite to use to coax the girl back into the air. Finally the wait was over and they were decorating it.

“It was. We should do this more often,” added Ellie.

Wearing sunglasses (and trying to resemble Tom Cruise), Nikolas Agger slid across the wooden floors of Selena and Emma’s apartment with his socks on. The girls had gone out shopping and the whole pace was his. “Cause I’m happy…” he sang, dancing around the room.
Then he turned around and found Selena smirking at him. She was holding a heavy bag filled with groceries. “Well I’m glad to see someone in a good mood,” said Emma as she arrived with two bags of groceries.
He shrugged nonchalantly. “I’m happy.”
“I’m glad.” Emma smirked and then started dancing.
Even Selena joined.

“Dictionaries.”
“What for?” asked Alfie. Her blue eyes were as wide as saucers.
He pulled out several pieces of parchment, ink, and quills. “I couldn’t find the word Slytherclaw in any of these dictionaries so I thought we should make our own.”
Emma smirked. “Let’s get to work. It needs to be defined!”
“Yes, Empress Emma,” said Theodore wiggling his eyebrows at the two girls.

“Those are Ravenclaw colours,” added Emma. She frowned. He must have been with Ellie, her competition, to dress like that. She smirked and gave him a playful wink. “How’s Ellie?”
“Emms…” said Alex.
“Ellie? Who’s this Ellie girl?” interrupted Fee.
“Alexbear’s girl!”
“Emma…..”
“Lighten up, Ally, we’re just teasing,” said Selena with a wink.

Braeden and Emma were in the Three Broomsticks. He was talking to her about how much he missed their lessons but all Emma was thinking about was how she was going to tell Braeden how much she liked him.
When the conversation came to a natural pause, she took a leap of faith. “Braeden.... I like you a lot,” she began. However, her voice was drowned out by the sound of Braeden dropping his fork on the ground.
“Sorry, what were you saying?”
“I like you” she said.
This time she wished Braeden had dropped his knife to the ground.

By the time Braeden had made it over, Emma was still in her fuzzy pajamas. The blonde would’ve been embarrassed but she had been dating the boy for eight years so it didn’t matter to her. She could tell that something was upsetting him so she asked him what and he explained the difficulties involved in getting into the movie industry. She struggled to find the right words to say. “ We just need.. connections which will take time. But if anyone's going to make it, I know that you'll be that person, love.”
Connections?  Merlin, she sounded like her father.

Emma had to check all of her surroundings before she headed into the Room of Requirement. She and Alfie were meeting up to discuss important business. Her hazel eyes searched around the corridor, but she couldn’t find anyone. Taking a deep breath, she quickly entered the room and closed the door behind her. The room had transformed into this bright parlour with aisles of candy to her left. In the middle of the room, she found Alfie. “Alfie!” she cried, hugging her friend. “Are you ready to discuss the revenge prank?”
Alfie nodded and pulled out a bag of candy.

The best way to spend Christmas was wearing fuzzy socks. Emma didn’t have any this year though. She pouted, eying the presents under the Christmas tree, hoping that one of them would be fuzzy socks. Picking up one of the presents with her name on it, she shook it gently. Rattle. Rattle. Those were definitely not socks. She placed the present underneath the tree.
All of a sudden, Selena entered the room and flung a pair of socks at her.
“ It’s an early Christmas present!”
“ Selena, you shouldn’t have! Thank you!” Emma tackle hugged her best friend. “ Best Christmas ever!”

Emma didn’t see herself in the mirror. A strange blonde woman wearing a beautiful white gown was looking at her. She fiddled with her engagement ring. “Emma?” called out a voice. It was her maid of honour and her best friend in the whole wide world, Selena, who had entered the tent.
“So how do I look?” she asked, turning around to face her.
“Beautiful.”
“Thanks. I can’t believe I’m getting married.”
“Neither can I.” Selena paused. “Don’t forget about me?”
“How could I? You’re my best friend,” said Emma, pulling her best friend into a hug. “You’re my sister.”
