Rose lay on the sunbed in the middle of the hotel, soaking up the Spanish sun, eyes closed and with headphones planted firmly in her ears. As The Wanted, her favourite muggle boyband blasted through her ears she could feel the sun prickling on the backs of her golden tanned legs Hugo was over with Ron buying ice cream, a substance that now never crossed her lips and her mother was sitting under an umbrella, reading “Beauwolf” Ron finished up paying and Hugo bombed into the pool, jerking her from her sleep and soaking her. “YOU PRAT HUGO!” |
Rose stood at the front of the church, dressed in a smart if slightly short, fitted black dress. Two pointy high heeled court shoes hung of her toned legs that were covered by black tights and she stood, head down, clutching her little brother´s hand. Hugo was also looking smart, the smartest he’d ever been in fact, but his wibbeling lip betrayed how he was really feeling “We are all here to mourn the sad loss of Geraldine Granger…” Rose and Hugo clutched at each other’s hand, consumed in personal misery but shared and inconsolable grief |
Lily was making so called “vela-eyes” at the worst person in the world. Scorpius Malfoy. How bloody typical. It was obvious that Lily was making eyes at the person who everyone thought was Rose's “man”. Pfft. Bloody rumours. And no doubt started by the red haired Potter. But talking about pensieves? Strangest thing she’d done in a while. Rose glared at Lily, this wasn’t the first time she’d mucked up Rose’s relationships. Rose turned on her heels, storming over to Scorpius Malfoy “And you still want to know why I won’t go with you?” |
Rose was browsing all of the cauldrons for her second year, running her hand over the smooth surfaces and the shine they emitted, when Rose heard the shop bell tinkle and a high pitched, candy fuelled hyperactive squeal. And a bomb of red hair that followed it. “ROSE I GOT MY WAND" Hugo shouted, bounding over to his older sister, she turned with a glare and put her fingers to his lips “I see that Hugo” she nodded, before turning back to the cauldrons “Whatcha doing?” “What does it look like?” “Being boring?” “Shut up Hugo” “Why? You are” -_______- THWACK! |
Rose propositioned Al in the hall, jumping onto the bench next to him, pushing Scorpius out the way, she flicked open her notebook before looking up at Al “Rose? What are you doing?” Albus asked warily “I’m doing a report for the school newspaper“ Rose nodded importantly, tapping her badge under her Head Girl one, “and I’m doing a report on what pupils think of the lessons, so”, she turned onto reporter mode, “Albus Potter, what do you think of divination?” “Shut up?” “Al please be serious” “Alright fine. I think its poo. Good enough for you?” *Glare* |
Rose and her latest “boyfriend” Charlie were sitting in the hall, having a major argy bargy. And it didn’t look good. Rose looked beyond hurt, fuming and like she was about to slap one and Charlie just looked plain nasty and malicious. Albus and Scorpius watched from the table "How long do you recon?" Al asked Scorpius as the voices raised in the corner "AT LEAST I DIDN’T SHOVE MY TOUNGE DOWN SOMEONE ELSE’S THROAT!" "THAT NEVER HAPPENED!" "AS IF!" Al and Scorpius looked at each other, shaking their heads "she’s too proud" Scorp muttered, shrugging his shoulders |
Rose stepped out of the girls bathroom and found herself nose to nose with Scorpius Malfoy "Before you say anything, let me talk. First, I never ever took any bet or money, because I don't need too, I have enough money, two, you're fit, don't deny it you and me would look good. And three..uhrmmm" Rose looked at him, cocking an eyebrow and tilting her head "And?" "And I think you're cool and nice and funny..and I want to go to the Yule Ball with you" Rose shrugged "Fine. I'll go. But only if you stop stalking me" |
Rose walked through the pitch that was empty apart from the Gryffindor team who were practiscing for the next game, when she heard cheering and whooping from the stands. Hugo. Rose narrowed her eyes and shot up the stairs to him "Hugo. What are you doing?" she asked accusingly "Cheering, what does it look like? "Why?" "Well, technically I'm egging it on" "It?" "Yeah" Hugo pointed to the bludger that was zooming around the pitch "I'm egging on that bludger" "Why?" "Because how else will it succeed. Duh" "Succeed in?" "In knocking off your boyfriend. Duh "HUGO!" |
Hermione and Ron were sitting, in a tent, and Harry was outside. It was the first time that they'd got some quiet time, together. They were sitting next to each other on a bed, sitting in a companiable silence "If I died, what would you do?" "I don't know Ron" Hermione said "If you died, I'd kill what killed you and..." Ron trailed off, blushing "I'm touched" she murmered, taking his hand. Rose pulled her head out of the pensieve and turned to see her parents. "And that was when I realised I loved your mother Ron said soppily |
Rose HATED James. Hated him. He'd told her on the train that not only did she have to do the dare but she had to throw food at Scorpius. James didn't like Scorpius. "Go on Rose" James hissed, digging her in the stomach as the Headmaster sat down from his speech. Shakily, Rose stood up, as James stared at her "Could I have your attention please?" she asked, watching 500 pairs of eyes turn to her "I smell and I, and I" she dipped her voice "what was it again?" "Love Scorpius Malfoy" *Shudder* "And I love Scorpius Malfoy" |
Rose smashed into Al as she rounded the corridor, fear on her face "Al, you have to save me!" she gibbered, looking over the back of her neck "Rose? What's wrong?" Al asked, knitting his brows together "It's, it's your sister she gibbered "What about Lily?" "She found out" "Found out?" "About me and Scorp" Rose said, begining to hyperventilate and jumping on the spot "What, your snog?" "Yes my snog!" she snapped infuriarted "you have to save me" "Why?" "SHE'S GOING TO KILL ME!" "No she isn't" "ROSE WEASLEY I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" "See" "Oh. Raiiighhht" |
Rose and Scorpius sat next to each other next to the lake, Rose was scribbiling her homework out and Scorpius was sitting, skipping stones. Finally, Rose looked up "Scor, what do you recon a definition of a Veela would be?" Scorpius shrugged "I dunno, someone pretty?" "Bit more technical please?" "I dunno, someone who everyone is attracted too?" "I guess" Rose conceded, writing it down "give me an example" "Fleur Delacour?" "She was only part Veela" Scorpius briefly debated before deciding on an answer "you?" "Me?" "Yeah, you have waaaaaaaay too many boyfriends" "Jealous?" "No way" "Suuuuure" "Yeah" "Whatever" |
Rose sat in the common room, nose deep in a book, when Lily Potter popped through the common room and, spotting Rose made a beeline for her "What do you want?" Rose asked, not looking up "Roooossse, how comes Scor doesn't ignore you?" Because I don't stalk him "I don't know" "Yes you do. Tell me" Sighing Rose looked up "You want the truth?" "Yes please" "Treat em mean, keep em keen" Rose said, rolling out the old mantra "Rose!" "Okay, fine" she shrugged, shutting her book "STOP STALKING HIM!" "I don't" "Oh you do" "Don't!" "Trust me" |
Rose sat, a happy smile on her face, in the middle of the hall, mindlessly chatting to a load of Gryffindors in her year when Al spotted her at the table "Rose!" Al called. She turned her head, still grinning. He stopped in his stride "are you okay?" he asked, slowly walking over to her. "Fine. Why?" "Ehrm, you're smiling" "I'm not always in a bad mood" "9 out of 10 and anyway, Scorp just came back to the common room, totally un-punched" "I don't always punch him" "Pffft" "Why are you so annoyed?" "WHY ARE YOU SO HAPPY?!" |
Rose and Scorpius stood in the empty classroom, facing each other, their Head badges pinned to their jumpers "Why exactly am I here Malfoy?" the red head asked, rolling her eyes "I thought we had a deal" Scorpius said, slightly injured "Deal in what?" "The deal we made at the begining of the year" "Concerning?" "Lily Potter!" He burst out "What about her?" Rose asked, utterly confused "You said you'd keep her away from me!" "I have been" "No. You haven't" "What's wrong?" "SHE ASKED ME OUT!" He shouted at Rose "Sheesh. Calm down! I do my best!" "Its not good enough!" |
Rose was sitting in her room, sorting through her make up and making room for her new text books when her cat shot through the door and barricaded under her bed, closley followed by a red faced Hugo "I'm telling you Rose, keep that thing away from me if you don't want it turned into a hat! "Shut up Hugo" Rose said, ignoring him "I mean it Rose, keep your bloody kneazle out of my room!" "Snowball is not a kneazle!" Rose snapped, whirling around "Is" "NO SHE IS NOT!" "Whatever Rose, I know the truth" "HUGO!" |
Rose stood, next to her first car, the boot loaded up and her father put the last suitcase into the car. She was the only one taking on the next step. University. Amd everyone had turned her out to say goodbye to her. Well, most people. Rose had said goodbye to her brother and aunts and uncles and briefly Lily and was now left with Al and Scor, she hugged them both tightly, giving them each a last kiss on the cheek. "You'll come back?" "Course I will" She nodded "we're the three musketeers. We're a team" |
Three first years, one with red hair, one with brown and one with blonde, were sitting in their third transfiguration lesson, staring intently at their pet that they were meant to be transfiguring, Rose and Scorpius were intently ignoring each other after their most recent argument that had brought their names into it. Again. “Will you two ever give in?” Albus asked desperately “its really distracting” Rose shot a nasty look at him and proceeded to transfigure her cat into the goblet, tail-less before speaking again, only this time to the professor “professor, these two are distracting me” |
Rose and Scorpius stood in her dingy uni flat, each glaring daggers at each other, since he’d gone up to visit, all he’d done was be moody and glare at her “Why don’t you trust me!” The red head shouted at him in exasperation “Because you never keep in contact and you’re so far away, why should I trust you?” “Uhm I dunno, BECAUSE I CARE ABOUT YOU!” “Oh it was so obvious back there was it” “What is your problem!” “You Rose. You’re my problem” She watched him as he turned and headed out the door |
Rose sat in the Potter’s living room, curled up on the sofa, whilst Albus bustled around the room. She stared moodily into the distance, ignoring all of Al’s chatter, until it was just white noise. Irritating white noise “Al, please shut up” Rose said wearily, inspecting her nails, her red hair falling infront of her eyes “Why-” “Because its giving me a headache” “No I mean why are you like this?” “Like what” “All moochy” “None of your buisness” “Tell me” “Why?” “Please?” “Fine” Rose sighed. “Me and Scor broke up. Okay?” “Why?” “Al. Please don’t” she sighed |
“Al whats going on?” Rose asked, as she found herself in the same room as Scorpius Malfoy, who, like her looked disgusted at the situation. In that moment Albus ran to the door, opened it, and locked them in “Now you’ll have to talk to each other and I’m not letting you out till you do!” Rose stared at the door angrilly “do you want me to hex him into oblivion?!” “Not particulary” Rose turned to Scorpius Malfoy an angry glare on her face “Rose?” “Shut up” she muttered “reckon he’ll let us out if we start dueling?” |
“Rose, don’t be so pathetic” Scorpius snapped at her, ignoring her laser eyes “I’m pathetic?” She retaliated “you don’t have any idea about me and suddenly you hit the roof, and I’m being pathetic?!” Albus stood behind the door, a hopeful smile on his face “Only because I never see you and you never write” “I have deadlines! Why do you need me to prove myself anyway?!” Scorpius said nothing and just stared at her. She whirled around and faced the wall of the room she was stuck in. Nothing special. “Because I care too much” he mumbled |
No. He hadn’t just said that. No. Rose turned to the door “Albus Severus Potter, if you don’t let me out this instant!-” Scorpius crossed the room and placed a hand on the angry red heads shoulder. She turned angrilly and pushed him away “Why are you doing this Rose?” he asked wearily, shaking his head “Let me out Al!” Behind the door, Albus was smacking his head off the wall, but he could hear the tone of Scorpius’s voice and could tell “DO IT NOW!” He shouted “Rose. I’m sorry” Scorpius said suddenly “For everything” Rose stared |
“And?” She asked, the bite in her voice extinguished, for once, she genuinley wanted to hear He began, “I’m sorry for being an idiot and not letting you live your life, I’m sorry we argued almost every day since first year, I’m sorry I didn’t say anything until we were leaving. I’m sorry that my family hated yours and I’m sorry with what you’ve put up with” Rose interupted him “you weren’t being an idiot, you were being a normal, overprotective boyfriend, the arguing was good fun. At least you said anything. And I’m sorry I couldn’t help you more” |
“Can we be friends?” “I was kind of hoping we could start our seventh year again?” Scorpius said, looking all vunerable. Rose sighed and walked over to him, shrugging, "fine, but I’m warning you, if you ever go like that again, no second chances” “Received and understood Miss Weasley” Scor said, with a grin, giving her a huge hug “I mean it Scor” she said, totally serious, “no jokes, this is for real” Scorpius nodded “Then, I guess, I forgive you” she shrugged, all the fire gone from her eyes. And then, she gave him a mahoooosive snog. |
