Counter-productive, yes. Harmony had been watching the others as they discussed ideas and agreed that simply blowing up the toilets would only cause more flooding and would not help them at all in their mission to re-enter the ministry. She gave the man an approving nod and then approached one of the stalls, considering what hidden secrets might be there. With a flick of her wand, she cast the revealing charm and raised her eyebrows, both amused and interested in what she found there. "Sadly, I'm not sure a phone number for a certain Accidents and Catastrophes staffer would be helpful to us." But perhaps she'd scribble down the number for, y'know, curiousity's sake. 555---
"Perhaps someone has used the blocked barrier charm?" That was something to think about. "Or perhaps the universe just doesn't want us in the ministry," Harmony added airily, glancing around at the others. Hey, it was possible.
Vic was still leaning against one of the stalls, his foot resting on the other one lazily and one of his hands in his pockets. Everyone was already doing their job and discussing, and his point was legit though no one could do anything about it considering it was no one's specialty. How sad. The runes idea was also proven false. Vic nodded along with what Saul's said, checking every stall and not blowing up the toilets. "We should get a probity probe." Whose specialty that was? It wasn't something someone had on them randomly, and he didn't know what sort of job he was supposed to do in a local toilet sooo he didn't bring one.
The Creatures boss lady seemed to stay on track of the investigation and did not succumb to child's bickering like the other two, good good. Though bickering was also fun when nothing seemed to work.
... well, he liked her until she added the universe theory. That sounded so... anti-pragmatic. But he chuckled, assuming she was joking. Right? Right. "Wait, what." A phone number? Vic moved closer to her and peeked in. "Oh." That was too obvious and too long a shot to be taken seriously, but hey, that was what he did. "Want me to check this... phone number out?"

A silvery patronus in the form of an African Wild Dog bound through one of the stalls and came to a halt in the middle of the bathroom space, it's ears and tail erect as the form opened its mouth and the voice of the MLE Department Head filled the void.
"We have gained access to level one. The restaurant entry mission has been a success."
The curious African Wild Dog stood for a moment before sitting on its hindquarters and after a brief stare faded away.

Were he a little less composed Gavin might have done a double take at a member of Law Enforcement finding explosions senseless. For now he was fine with a subtle smirk being kept to himself. Whatever mind disease had been floating around in that Department, it didn't get to him. Vic nodding along must have meant he was immune as well. Thank you Emily for sending him the sane people and keeping all the trigger happy ones elsewhere.
Now then, what were they on about this time? Checking the stalls? By all means. Did he want to help? Nope, but Gavin was a team player and knew you couldn't lead unless you were willing to show that you would be of just as much help so he'd try this stall looking thing....or well, he would have until he spotted the wist of light halt before him.

Excellent! They'd gained access to Level 1--HOLD ON. Explosions....and now they'd gained access to Level 1? The Senior Undersecretary could feel the slightest of headaches coming on and all he could do was hope to Merlin he'd find his office still in one piece by the time they got there. It would have been too much to hope for minimal to hardly any damage.
"You all heard the Patronus. Don't see the point in wasting anymore time here. Them gaining access to Level 1, I think we should head over and see what assisstance we can be." Yes? Yes. It was the most practical approach.

Blocked barrier charm? There was... Cora thought about this as she stepped toward the group again to see what they were going to do next, but she didn't have long to think when a Patronus appeared.
So entry from somewhere else was a success at least. This was exciting. She wasn't too keen on just giving up on this though since she didn't like giving up on a challenge, but it did seem much more practical to go help the other mission that had succeeded. Perhaps they could figure out how to work the toilet entrances from the other side anyway.

This was getting them no where now. Not even revealing secrets within the Bathroom was useful. Unless Vic here felt that picking up chicks who leave their numbers hidden in the stalls useful. Wait! "Are we sure that's a Phone Number and not a Code? Could that be one of those Fancy Arithmancy Codes to tell us what the curse is?"...Although it did look just like a phone number and nothing else. So he maybe way off on this. "I could always just pop on over to Weasley's and buy a Probity Probe." On the Ministry's sickle. He was just about to head on out when his his Boss' Patronus came on into the Bathroom. He had a big grin on his face, and pushed his glasses up. That means they all could do this, if they just thought a little harder. "Whoa, what!? You're gonna give up?" They were going to abandon this mission just because the other one succeeded!?! "No, we were supposed to open this way into the Ministry as well. You're just going to leave the toilet's clogged here?" Saul believed they were getting ahead of themselves here. "Unless you intend to remove the spell from the other side. I say we stay here until our task is finished."
Hell, if he had to he'd go Lone Plumber and do this himself. He always liked working alone anyways.

The phone number seemed to spark some interest though Harmony was sure this was more an act of humor than some secret code that would grant them access to the ministry. It was creative thinking, though. She'd have to pass on how dedicated to the task some of the employees here were. Impressed, she was. "I don't mind looking into this number myself. I do love a good mystery." A serene smile graced her lips and she traced her fingers along the numbers thoughtfully before turning her attention back to the others.
Oh, a wild dog! How lovely! They only had four toes, y'know! The red head was simply fascinated by them and so she watched the patronus with interest as she listened carefully to the message it carried. "Far out! I'll have to send some flaxseed cookies over in celebration when I get the chance!" Y'know, after she washed up and such since she'd spent much of her day in the loo.
And there seemed to be two conflicting attitudes about this new development. Harmony listened intently to both sides and then clapped her hands together. "I think that if a few of you would like to stay behind and continue working on the mystery within the toilets, that shouldn't be a problem as long as it is Okay-ed by your department heads." Otherwise the rest should see if they should lend a hand.
Vic was taking this very seriously, thank you very much Mr. Senior Undersecretary for suggesting to LEAVE so soon. Emily's Patronus had made him grin proudly, of course, his boss never got into something without nailing it, but he agreed with Saul about trying and fix the....toilets....

But, wait, Mr(s). Skylark was saying they needed Emily's permission to stay here? That was... not achievable. Vic shrugged his shoulders, "Might as well get into Level one and inspect the toilets from the other side if we can..." He eyed his colleague.

Just when he thought this whole business had been put behind them with the arrival of the Patronus and the news they'd gotten back inside, he was proven wrong by those who didn't seem to understand when to let things die. They weren't giving up, merely focusing on efficiency. It was clear they wouldn't be getting anywhere with these loos and he could appreciate those who were willing to follow through with the next plausible course of action.
Cora got an appreciative smile for her willingness to follow the next set of orders the suggestion but before he could respond to the adamant MLE-er Harmony was allowing them to stay...with Permission from their own Department Heads. Somehow he couldn't see Mr. Primeaux walking all the way over there just to walk back and he couldn't see Emily being okay with that type of time wasting either but sure, he was free to. By all means.
Vic's expression warned of his own protests where heading over were concerned but they weren't followed by the same line of argument, rather, he was using the logic the Senior Undersecretary had been. "That is the basic idea. There's nothing on this end from what we've seen, no runes, no magic, no transport. Getting a look at it from the inside now that we have that option would prove more beneficial than walking down the lines checking and re-checking stalls." Efficiency people, think efficiency. He wouldn't spend his day looking at toilets when there were other avenues.
Gavin headed back to the door of the bathroom. "Shall we then?" He asked, swinging it open and giving them all beckoning look. Surely they wouldn't all still stand around here. The Senior Undersecretary left the bathroom in full confidence that those who wished to help would be right in toe.

Giving up? No, they weren't. The mission was to get into the Ministry at all, and that much had clearly been accomplished. But if they really wanted to stay and work on this specific thing from this specific side, Cora didn't really care. At least there were some who saw the logic in getting into the Ministry through whatever means worked best, and then going from the inside out to fix the other entrances.
So she just raised an eyebrow at the one who wanted to stay and nodded at the others who seemed to get it. "Perhaps you can send a Patronus to your Department Head if you want to stay so badly," she suggested with a shrug. If their DH wanted them to stay or go, they'd find out. She, however, was going to head to the Ministry, so with that she followed the Senior Undersecretary out.

Mariel was starting to feel like people were putting words in her mouth from all sides or at least misconstruing her intentions, though she really felt no need to keep pressing the point. Her patience was beginning to wear thin as ideas were beginning to be exhausted with no real progress. And it looked like no one had a probity probe on them anyway. Not even an MLEr and she had thought that was one of their things.

Mariel raised an eyebrow as a couple of them got a bit distracted by whatever nonsense that was and began to add her thoughts on magical barriers when she was distracted herself by the sudden appearance of a patronus. "They got in.." she confirmed to herself with the hint of a grin present on her face, then glanced at the others as a few expressed their desire to head over that way. Finally, they could get back into the Ministry and she'd be out of that dirty and drafty hangar.
She gave a nod to Gavin and Miss Greenwell as she was about to head over with them when her eyes fell on the MLE man who had taken a tone with her earlier, eyes glancing back to Gavin as he addressed him, then to Harmony as she mentioned those wanting to stay behind. Whatever other people wanted to do, she could care less to be honest. None of her employees were here so she wasn't going to demand that anyone go with her, though she did find in futile to hang around here any longer.
"Our task, sir," she began to the insistent MLEr whose name she did not know, "Was to first find a way into our building."Any way, as far as she was concerned. "One of the teams was successful. It seems most logical to now get into the only known entrance and reassess things from that end." Perhaps once they were inside it would give them more clues to why they could not access the building by normal means. And yes, that might include the dreadful toilets. Yes, she would have to agree with the others that were willing to get in but if the other guy wanted to stay and poke around, more power to him.
"Right behind you," she replied to the Senior Undersecretary as she followed him and the A&C woman out of the public bathroom. She wanted back in her Ministry and she wasn't hanging around here one minute more if she could get in that building.

Harmony could sense the mood change in the room and could clearly see the colors of certain auras adjusting to reflect people's current feelings. Needless to say, some seemed more annoyed than others about people wanting to stay behind. What the red head didn't get was why it mattered so much. To each his or her own, yes? But she still stood by running it by their department heads just in case they were needed at the place of entry. Anyway, it seemed that the others were leaving and because Harmony was curious to see what type of condition her level was in, she smiled and followed along excitedly, ankle bracelets jingling as she went.
Jasmine was late to work this time. It was just her luck because she wanted to take the floo powder network to work but she had no more floo powder. Once she realized she didn't have enough powder, she fell into the fireplace and got her dress all ruined. Great what else could have happened. She did change her dress but you could see some soot from her hands rubbing against her new dress. It was just one of her nervous habits. Now onto her plan B is to take the public toilets. She didn't really want to but she knew she had to.
She felt this way of traveling was kind of disgusting because she knew what toilets were used for. I mean why would anyone wanna travel this way. She pulled down the handle and she swirled into the toilets and made her way to the other side. She breathed a sigh of relief and was trying to regain her composure because Jazz felt a little dizzy.

The pretty blonde introduced herself and held her hand out, which was accepted. Kai shook hands gently and beamed a smile at the woman. "Nice to meet you. My name is Annette, but you can call me Kai or something shorter if you like." Nicknames were just easier for most people, herself included. At least she didn't use her full name for her introduction.......

This was going to be interesting. Replacing the out of order toilets would be fun but it seemed like she was the first one here. Did this make it seem like Megan was eager to get started? You bet. She was loving her new job so far and when there were persons like Logan, Zhenya and Kai around, who wouldn't love their job even more?
To pass the time, the blond woman began surveying the toilets. She did this from a distance because who knew if one of them would start sprouting its contents at her out of the blue. No, she was happy observing from a bit afar.
Urgh.He literally had to drag his feet to work today, Charles wasn't exactly looking forward to their new assignment. He sighed. Why couldn't they pick somewhere clean and sanitised for once? Thank goodness, he hadn't forgotten to bring along his gloves this time. Perhaps casting a bubblehead charm around his mouth too, enhancing his protection. No way would he touch using his bare hands or breathe in the filth while he was working there. He didn't care if people see him with them, he was more comfortable being himself right now than not.
Oh, it seemed like he wasn't the only one who had arrived first in the public toilets. There was Miss Baines who was already there inspecting the toilet cubicles. He cleared his throat,"Ehemmm, morning Baines..."
Lynley had worn flats today, turning in her usual heels because of the work this might involve. Simple clothes, hair in a tight bun, etc. Well, it seemed none of HER employees were here yet. HMPH.
Well, it was a bit early, she realized as she checked her watch. She nodded at the woman and the man, both of which had names she did not remember because they were NOT in her department. It was something the department head really needed to work on. Other employees mattered too, she supposed.
"It's as nice of weather we could have today...for replacing the toilets." She said as she looked at the sky. It wasn't too sunny, a bit cloudy, but it wasn't supposed to rain today, was it? Hopefully not. The breeze was enough to keep Lynley from working up a sweat.
She had seen Aron on the way out..he was just poking around in some of their current toilets. Good for him, she supposed.

Exiting the loo after removing some of the wards off the toilets to help speed up the process, Aron strolled over to the humble group that had gathered thus far and offered them nothing more than a quick nod of the head.
"Charles, Megan, good to see you," he said after throwing Lynley a cheeky wink. "Why don't you two go on inside and finish up removing wards and the actual pipe work to the toilets. We are going to need to move them all out by hand once the truck arrives."
Which ought to be soon. Unless the company's time keeping was on par with their spelling.

They must excuse her for taking her time in getting down to the public toilets entrances. Out of all the things she could've been doing today, replacing toilets wasn't even on the list. It was probably in the non-existent section such as 'mucking out a hippogriff's stall' or 'eating asparagus'.

So in which part of his job description did it say they had to install toilets? This was why the Maintenance department had been a thing. Rusty didn't mind keeping the muggles away of course, and being on hand to obliviate as required but he wasn't 100 percent confident in anything regarding plumbing, magical or otherwise.
Better to stick with his area of expertise, lest he flood the ministry with a misplaced pipe.
"I'll get a perimeter established." He said to Aron, alertly.

Loud honking announced the arrival of the freight truck carrying the shipment of new toilets and, upon backing up and stopping on the street just outside the public restrooms, opened the back doors with a loud BANG into the pavement. The driver, however, remained seated. He had only been paid to drive the truck, so there would be no help from him.
Time to load and unload all that precious porcelain!
Here came the truck, rumbling down the way with its obnoxious horn and driving. Merlin, she was beginning to distrust this company a great deal. Luckily, Aron was here to keep her a little sane at least...she met his gaze with an eyebrow raise. She didn't miss that wink, Ashburry-blah-blah-blah.
"ALL RIGHT EVERYONE--" she tucked huffed a little. "We need people to both....GET THOSE TOILETS OUT of the truck--and people INSIDE helping unhook the current ones--" Lynley had no idea how toilets worked??? You just had to...unhook them right? Pffft. The works could surely handle it. Lynley would be doing the harder work--the unloading--Aron had sent a few to undo toilets...well good.
For once, she was glad she wasn't doing this alone.
Charles blinked. Nice weather for replacing the toilets? Uhh...okay. He simply nodded, not wanting to disagree with the other department head either. They could have had it worst...y'know. London's weather was not something to be envy upon anyway. He much preferred the weather back in Luxembourg. Hmm... he missed being there. Right...now was not the time to dilly-dally with his thoughts, time was gold and they had a job to do. Where the heck were the others? Shouldn't they be here as well? *points at Zhenya,Logan, Kang and Kai* They needed more hands on deck,yeah. Speak of the devil, here comes his boss now ...and barking orders as soon as he came. He groaned mentally inside. Great...Hopefully, this project didn't take the whole day to finish because he still had case files left on his desk to go through.
He smiled or tried to. "Yes sir, we get on it right away." Charles went ahead to grab more tools.
He turned around when another one of his colleague finally reached in time. Rolling his eyes, he continued unscrewing the bolts and what not so he could remove the wards. He wasn't going to start on the pipes first though, who knows what disgusting residue left stuck in there. Urgh...the horror. Charles was so going to scrub himself clean after this.
Soon the truck carrying the new toilets arrived, and it was about time too! Although, he was secretly hoping they could delay a little longer so be wouldn't have to touch those pipes again and let others handled them instead. Guess he had no choice then...blegh.
"Yeah,I'll help carry it out from the truck,"he volunteered. Besides it was a man job to handle heavier stuff,right? He jumped up onto the back of the truck and began lifting the toilet up.

Bloody hell, the dreaded thing didn't move an inch.Okay...uhh...maybe he tried another way to lift it? *struggle* *struggle* His veins on his neck popped out as he tried. Damn it...
