Election EraAll historical records pertaining to Ministry of Magic RPG under Ministers for Magic, Sherman Clark [IC January 2086 - December 2089; OOC February 2015 - June 2016] & Althea Scabior [IC January 2090 - December 2093; OOC February 2016 - June 2017]
The office was sparse save for the always present and two most necessary pieces. The perch and bird cage for Jasper's raven and the almost over-sized and multi-drawered desk gifted to him by an infamous Mexican seer. Upon it, a crystal ball clenched inside a bronze eagle talon stand beside a calender and dirty, tattered books. The old seers personal almanacs he'd kept since his teen-aged years and before. The wizard's love of reading and books apparent also upon the desk as it manifested in stacks upon stacks of leather and parchment. He did have a family, but there were no photos anywhere of Heather and their daughter to be found upon the desk.
There was a multitude of seating, however. As if the wizard regularly maintained company or hosted large get togethers. And it was for the most part, mostly dark and mostly silent within the confines of Jazzy Mitty's office, though shoved in the corner, way off to the side was the old hoofer's refuge in the form of a Wizards Wireless set. He liked to listen to the old Celestina Warbeck vintage hour.

It was Hazel’s first day officially back at the Ministry and she was grinning from ear to ear. She had left Mammy in the atrium, with a quick kiss and that was it. On to level 9 and her potions… and new colleagues. Gosh, she was nervous… even if she was also very excited.
With the roll of parchment in hand, she made for Uncle Jazz’s office. She was pretty sure it was the third door on the left from the scratch on the wall… but she could never be sure so after asking the rotunda to take her to the correct door of the office of Mr Mitterbill, here she was. Knocking on the door with a wide grin on her face and her lab coat over her arm for when she made it to the ever-locked room.

The older wizard was adjusting his wireless set this way and that, trying to find a better position for the acoustics so he could practice a particular pattern he'd seen performed by a Swedish couple. Just to see if he could ...at his age. He couldn't believe he hadn't noticed it before. Maybe his hearing really was going. The thought filled him with anxiety so much so that he jumped a bit when he heard the knocking rap of someone on the other side of the door.
He caught his breath and took out his wand, slowly opening the door with a creeaak. "You can come right in. Have a seat. Make yourself at home." His friendly tone before he looked over to see who'd come to call. "Miss Ward...Mrs. Ward? How do you prefer to be addressed?"

Hades was cursing just a little bit after he finally managed to get the rotunda to stop. Good gosh, his boss had a tongue-twister for a name. His life was never going to be simple, nope. Couldn't there be a less painful thing to say than 'Mister Mitterbill's Office' when one was trying to stop the doors from spinning around and avoid the urge to vomit? Of course not. It was all a part of the secrecy thing that he was not fond of at the moment.
Knocking on the door with three sharp taps, he leaned against the wall in an effort to reorientate himself. His head was still spinning.

"Aguamenti." He finished the watering and feeding of his raven and turned toward the door hearing the three shortish raps upon it. Opting to get the door manually rather than use magic, Jasper closed Sandra's cage and moved around his desk toward the threshold to his office and turned the door handle to open it.
There was one of the new hires and he was looking quite sick. "Mr. Grahn. Come right in." Jasper flung the door open enthusiastically, but he used a bit too much force and thus the door SWUNG open, HIT the wall and FLUNG closed again with a click. That would've sent the rotunda immediately adjacent to the office into a twirl again. Jasper's back was turned at that moment, however and he did not see this event take place, though he knew from the lack of presence that Mr. Grahn was not in the office with him.
"Ssssssssnap." He hissed under his breath, before opening the door to his office again and ceasing the revolution of the rotunda. "Terribly sorry, Mr. Grahn. Please come in."

Hazel grinned as the door swung open for her and then that turned into a soft smile as she saw the man, basically an Uncle to her, fiddling with the wireless. ”Of course, I always make myself at home.” She said with a grin, wondering when he would look up and she it was his favourite non-niece niece ever her standing in front of his desk.
Though, when he did notice, she groaned a little at the question. ”Mrs Ward.” She answered, taking a seat in the chair in front of him. ”Hope and Mary have taken Ward for their last names too.” There was a weird, happily satisfied smile on her face - something that was still fairly new to the woman. ”However, not from you Uncle Jazz. It’s much to formal… even if we are at work.” She eyed him for a minute or so, hoping that he would agree to call her Hazel, Leza or his personal favourite when she had been little, Zelly. Heh.
Raising her hand, she held a scroll out for him to take. ”Resigned as requested.”

She leant back into her chair and gave him a few minutes of silence to check the document over.
I wanted him to vomit on Mitty's shoes, but he REFUSED to let me. :/

Hades' eyes widened in shock and then nothing short of pure horror as the door to Mister Mitterbill's office swung open, hitting the wall and slamming shut in his face. The rotunda beginning its roration again, going on for at least two revolutions before the man had the sense to crouch down and stare at the floor because that was the only thing that wasn't rotating. He could actually taste the bile rising in his throat. It was awful.
Suddenly, the revolutions stopped and Hades stumbled a little as he got up to his feet. The sudden movement causing him to throw up a little in his mouth. Wonderful first day at work, he mused, grimacing as he swallowed it back down. "Thank you, sir," he said, following the man into his office. He wasn't going to attempt to pronounce his name at the moment. That was what had gotten him into this awful mess in the first place. He wasn't very sure why he was here. The owl had said to be, but no specifics. Hades figured that there would never be any specifics in owls for him ever again. Not working in this department. Helped with the mysterious side of things.
Sam pulled some scribbled notes from a pocket, making sure she didn't get lost on her first day. Reading through the paper one last time, she stuffed it back in her pocket and followed the instructions. "Mr. Mitterbill's Office," she stated clearly.
It took a moment, but a door stopped in front of her, and the new Unspeakable stepped forward. Sam knocked on the door, and waited for a response.
