She snatched it from his hand finally to get a good look at it. You never knew with some people. They could have some weird foreign creature caged up in their basements. Well, that got a loud laugh from William. "Look at you, making jokes to try an' fit in around here," he chuckled, giving her a small nudge to her shoulder. "That would be an awesome division though," Willy added in a quieter voice. Hmm, he'd sign up to find some XXXXXX rated creatures --- which wasn't a rating they used, by the way, they only ever went up to 5 X's here.
But, back to the Pet Project. "Yes! It was my idea and it's already been approved by Harmony. She's just getting some support from other department heads now." And he had a good feeling about this event, all things considered. "Yeah, and a list of creatures we'll have available for adoption by people who don't HAVE a pet to bring to work!" He absolutely loved that part of the idea. "I was just trying to decide about bringing in birds or not. Do we really want to clean up with them? Don't most people HAVE an owl already? What do you think?"

................. Death glare. That's what Willy was getting. AND an elbow to the side. "I fit in just fine," she said even though she knew it was a lie. January was a bit stiff all the time at work and she always liked to keep busy and make sure everything was perfect. She didn't have time to try and fit in. She had Willy and that was good enough for her.
And no, it wasn't a surprise that Willy would want to be in Jan's made-up division. Sigh. She was amazed he had all of his limbs.

She couldn't win. He was right. Not that she would let him WIN. January wrinkled her nose when he poked it and then kept that way to show her distaste to his words. "You think you're so funny," she muttered. Socializing had never been her expertise and he was teasing her about it. How rude. [b]"I happen to be very well known and liked within a number of spirit societies. They'll do me favors, too. Like haunt people's houses."[b] January gave him a pointed look. Watch your back, Williamson.

Well, she was never going to attempt to be funny ever again. William would just make fun of her. Repeatedly. January crossed her arms, narrowed her eyes and STAYED QUIET. ALL FUNNY BONES ELIMINATED. Thanks to you, William Williamson. January was very good at being stiff and not funny. It came natural.
Coffee breaks and stuff. January considered it and nodded. "I suppose I could do that." That didn't sound too bad and she wouldn't have to deal with all the smelly animals all the time. "Would I have to keep a leash on her?" she asked, about her kitty. She didn't like being confined to one space. January did think she would like Jack, though. | |

Why was Jose so tired, he didn't stay up too late last night and he had a good dinner and a very filling breakfast this morning but he felt like he couldn't drag himself into work on time. and because of this he was late. Jose was never (usually) late but he was glad out of the whole situation that he had managed to dress him self appropriately.
Looking around while he walked over to his work area, he smiled at a few friendly faces he already knew and said "hello, good morning. its lovely day" to anyone who was around him. even though he was tired he wasn't going to let it show to his friends and co-workers. taking off his jacket he slung it over his chair while picking up his travel coffee mug to go and hunt for some coffee. he was Happy that since he's been here the coffee had improved greatly, for one thing he had brought his extra fancy coffee maker to the office and it managed to stay and no one has moved it or complained. He guess everyone loved coffee.
