Layla smirked as she watched Dacs fall unto her bum. It definitely served her right. Where did she get off hitting her like that? That was assult in her book and so she had every right to defend herself, whether or not Dacs was apart of Law Enforcement.

"Yeah, Yeah I did just push you. Likewise sister dearest. You put your hands on me and you will get retaliated on."

She gripped her wand and returned Dacs' glare.

"Dangerous because of what?" She rolled her eyes." Because your boss said so? I'm sorry but you'll have to go through me."

Once again she blocked Dacs' path.

"You're gonna be so sorry you messed with me today, sis." Dacs said. With one fluid movement Dacs said,"I'mpedimenta!", as she intended to knock Layla out of the way.

Pulling back she said,"Can't say I didn't warn you.", with a slight smirk. She looked to the door at the end of the corridor with her intent set.

Layla scoffed at Dacs. She was never once sorry for any action she carried out and she wasn't about to start today, especially not something as fulfilling as pushing her sister unto her bum like that. "I'm sorry but I do not share your sentiments..sis." She had predicted Dacs drawing on her which is why Layla was just in time to defect the spell shot at her."Protego!"

"Warn me? You've got to come better than that little sister. Seems all that training has gone to waste." She stood facing Dacs wand at the ready.

Dacs smiled at Layla. A rather evil grin."Very nice Layla. I see you know a few magic tricks." she said as walked closer to her. With her wand in her right hand, she stepped back. She was a fighter through and through but she was patient

"Watch it, Dacosta." she said."You've been asking for this for a long time and I've been dying to oblige."

Okay... perhaps this was where he needed to be...

With a pop Alex appeared and stumbled slightly. Stupid Animagus and even stupider MLE.

His eyes adjusted and he saw at the opposite end of the hall, the way he needed to go, that there was yet ANOTHER MLE employee. BAH! Taking a deep breath he began to stealthily sneak up the corridor trying to decide whether he should apparate directly into the place he needed to go... or if he could simply blast his way through. Heh. Either option was doable.

Dacs stopped breathing the minute she heard the unmistakable sound of someone apparating behind her. Turning away from her insufferable sister, she turned toward the sound.

She let out a slow breath when she saw Alexander Wrekin."Well, well, well, look who popped in for a surprise." she said without a hint of surprise or humour. She now thought of getting him but then there was her sister who was clearly unaware of the severity of why she was here.

"Gonna run again little boy?" she teased him, gripping her wand tightly, feeling the weight of her second.

First off... HOW LAME WAS SHE?! Secondly, PFFFT.

Smiling as he stalked along, wand at the ready, Alex shrugged his shoulders slightly. "I would be offended if you were intelligent enough to make sense. And I might even get all hot and bothered by you calling me little. As it were, you are filth beneath my fingernails, and really who gets angry with filth?" he said in a cool voice as he kept moving along.

Did that intimidation technique EVER work for her? Because it was failing miserably right now.

Dacs smirked,"As much as I am intrigued by you and your rather backward charm, that really is now way to speak to a lady." she said as she stepped forward."What are you doing here?"

There was no use in going around making small take with this guy. He didn't seem to be the type for small talk. He definitely seemed to be very comfortable here."What are here for Wrekin?" she asked in a low tone.

Alex shook his head and shrugged again. "Don't act like a lady... and I won't treat you like one. Seems a simple enough concept to grasp, yes," he said with charm oozing from his voice.

"That is none of your concern now is it? You can either move and let me by willingly, or things can get ugly. The choice, of course, is entirely yours, but I WILL get through. That much I am certain of," he said smoothly.

Really did she think he would merely open up and gush all of his reasons for being there to HER? Riiiiight. That would happen.

She pouted a bit and said,"Careful, you might actually offend me. But I guess your reasoning is logical.", with a winning smile.

"It is my concern. You're my concern."she said as her smile faded,"Hence, you are not getting by me. In fact, it can get as ugly as you want, you're not passing me. So you come good Alexander."

She stood as calm as a cucumber and as steady as a brick, leveling him with a hazel eyed glare.

This was a SNOREFEST. Talking trash and yada yada. Using his given name in hopes of shaking him up a bit. All typical of Law Enforcement and definitely not concerning him.

"Ought to have placed your concern elsewhere," he said mildly. With a flick of his wand he sent a huge stream of fire bursting through the corridor toward the woman and then blasted at the ceiling. Confringo it was. Flicking a shield around himself he merely smirked and waited. He could play a little until he got bored.

The golden labrador bounded into the corridor, nose in the air. She'd caught it! She'd caught the scent! After searching for ages around the lower levels of the Ministry, she'd picked it up! She saw her target just standing there and raced over, barking at him. I found you! Way too easy! You smell like a poodle! Seriously, what brand of aftershave did Wrekin use? Someone should tell him he smelt like a dog ...

Really, this guy has a serious ego problem.

Cocking an eyebrow, she said,"Oh?". Before another word could leave Dacs' mouth he attacked. She raised her wand quick enough to use the Protego charm to block the flames as they rushed toward her and the falling pieces of the ceiling. The force of if pushed her back a bit but she stood her ground.

"Nice try Alex but you're gonna have to do better than that." she shouted from where she stood. Then she saw a patronus of a dog as it barked at its target, Wrekin.

"Stupefy!" she shot at him.

Yeah Dacs was going to get hexed in the face, she was sooooooo ready to do this. And Layla was about to hex her sister's ugly face off when a pop caused her to turn her head.

Ack, what horrible timing? She was about to do what she had wanted to for months, hex her sister in the face and now it was ruined!!!

And now Dacs was engaged in lip service with one of Lord Borrs'a acquaintance. Really? Ugh..was he one of the persons she was looking for? If he was, she would get no help from Layla in taking him in. In fact the woman leaned against the wall to watch the show.

And then Mr.Crazy sent fire down the corridor, was he off his rockers? Really? She did as Dacs had done,which was to deflect the spell with protego just in time to avoid getting burned.

Dog patronus..did she miss the memo?Had the circus been unleashed in the ministry? Layla rubbed her temples. She needed to get to the bottom of this.

With Dacs' attention completely on the Wreken guy and her back turned to her,Layla aimed a hard kick at Dac's wand hand then she pointed her wand at the guy down the corridor. "Expelliarmus!"

Hopefully with his attention on her sister he would not have expected that and she could have them both disarmed. Then maybe she could get some bloody answers and tick her sister off even more.Then it would be score one for team Armen..hoorah!

MERLIN! That man was fast! Luckily, Lights was also fast. He had followed the sound of her barking, and had taken a few wrong turns, which explained why he was so bloody late.
He rounded the corner just to see Alexander and the fire that he must have caused. Light's was here, as was another MLE and a person from Magical Transportation.
What had just happened? He rose his wand and aimed it at Alex Wrekin. "I wouldn't advise trying to escape again, Mr. Wrekin. You are under arrest in the name of the Ministry of Magic!"

Lights turned to see Ebony and the other guy - Danny, right? - here as well. She barked at them, wagging her tail slightly. 'Didn't I tell you to help the others in the work area?!' she wanted to shout, but couldn't. Dogs can't talk, see? So she contented herself with giving them a stern look, and turned her attention to Wrekin again. If he ran, she'd be able to give chase faster as a dog.
Lights also had a contribution to make about how to capture Wrekin. 'Shoot Incarcerous at him!' she tried to tell Ebony, but all that came out was a bark of exasperation. Good Merlin, this was so frustrating!

Alex aimed a kick at the dog!witch and scowled at her as he flicked a reinforced shield into place just as the stunner so easily bounced right off. Terrible, she was. Women ought not to be in law enforcement. They were terrible at the job.

He moved out of the way as the second poorly aimed spell was sent his way. WOMEN. Bah. And now an MLE employee came in telling him he was under arrest. Riiiiight. That was going to happen. Shaking his head, shield still strong he sighed before wiggling his fingers and POP he went on about his business... trying to get to the location he needed to be in.

It was what she knew would happen. Wrekin ran again. She leveled her sister with a deadly glare, then turned on the other two. Walking toward them, both wands out, she said,"I hope you two can catch him." as she continued passed them before apparating to somewhere else.

She had Layla in her way for the last time. Now she knew it would take more than just a few months to actually stop hating her half sister. Dacs had enough and she was tired of it all. She wanted to end it. Yeah. Her day was going downhill and it ticked her off to an unprecedented level

Ebony hadn't expected Wrekin to have been able to evade all their spells. He was alot better than he had assumed him for. Mentally kicking himself for making the same mistake twice, he nodded briefly to Dacs.
Then he turned to Light's. "Where could he have gone?" He swiftly thought to himself as to where Wrekin could have gone. "We aren't going to catch him if he is trying to escape from the Ministry. He could already be half-way across the globe if escape was his mission. Yet he didn't do that. He must be trying to reach the other Cultists, remember that paper airplane that was sent to Sakura?"
He thought quickly and said "He's trying to find either Martel or Recard. Since we don't know where Martel is, I suggest we try Recard."

Lights transformed back into a human, leaning against the wall, her hand pressed to her tummy. Her baby had better be alright or there'd be hell to pay. She looked up at Ebony. "If Wrekin's still in the Ministry, I can find him. I know his scent; he smells like a poodle." Lights couldn't wait to tell Wrekin that to his face. "He wouldn't be reporting to Recard," she objected. "The man's a fool. Somehow I don't see arrogant Mr Wrekin answering to him. He's gone after Martel, that's the only explanation. Or he's gone back for Sakura. According to my research, those two are as thick as thieves. Wrekin wouldn't leave Sakura behind in Mysteries willingly, he'd try to go back." Now it was a choice between going back down to Mysteries, or trying to find Martel. Lights had no idea what Martel looked like, let alone smelled like, so she would be relying on Wrekin's strong poodle smell to lead her to him.
Lights transformed back into the dog. As she did so, a fiery pain shot through her stomach, and she yelped in pain. It was gone as quickly as it had come. Lights shook herself. She'd worry about it later. Then she took off down the corridor. Alexander Wrekin was going to become pretty tired of Lights Lennox before long ...

Ebony nodded to what Light's said. "Well, we might have to contact the team in charge of finding Martel if he is to go to to him." But then he shook his head. "No, they might be abroad now, looking for him. I doubt he'd go back to Sakura, he just left him."
Ebony started wondering if she could take Martel all by herself, not that he doubted her skill, but Wrekin had demonstrated skill already, and Light's was about to have a baby. Hardly in any state to go hunting after killers by yourself.
He saw Light's yelp, and caught himself wondering what affects transforming might have on a baby. But he didn't say anything. If it got worse, however, he would have to object to her coninueing this hunt. But for now...for now it migth have just been a passing thing.
He followed Lenox.

Ben popped into the Sixth Floor Corridor, he looked about noticing Lights and Ebony. "I'll be right with you, I just got distracted." he attempted to smile, but his face was puffy and there was purple goo was oozing from it. "They found me again, but there is no time to explain." he finished as an American cultist appeared and dived into Ben, they were both promptly apparated away.

As they reached the sixth level, Konrad - once again - stopped for a moment so Mariel and Lourdes could have a look around, before he spoke. "The Department of Magical Transportation. You will also find here the Apparition Test Center, Floo Network Authority, Portkey Office, and everything else that has to do with any magical means of transportation." Obviously.

While he waited for the information to sink in, hoping they wouldn't have any questions he didn't know how to answer, he reluctantly allowed his mind to wander towards a certain someone who used to work over there, but quickly shook the thought away. Wasn't going to do there.

Level 6. Transportation Department. Armen's department, if she wasn't mistaken. Lulu looked around the Corridor and examined the stuff around. Well, they can't go inside the department since it wasn't hers. But if Armen wouldn't mind, they could explore a little bit. Though probably Armen is busy inside.

Lulu just watched the things happening and wondering what was going on in the department. Though Lulu was curious, she had no questions in set. Weird? But... maybe Mariel did? She seemed smart, and Konrad being a Secretary... he must know things.

Mariel followed the other two of her group onto Level Six and took a few steps into the corridor to take a look around. Magical Transportation.. Hmm, she knew enough about that, she thought, and the rest sounded like boring Ministry regulation stuff. Shrug. "Seems a bit quiet.." she began, walking a bit further down the corridor before turning around to walk back to her little group. Ehh.. at least there were no so-called zombies around.. "Though I suppose they had some excitement last year," she mused, think about some school incident she thought she had read about.

Pulling herself out of her reverie, the brunette smiled back at the group. Well, Lourdes was being a bit quiet.. She couldn't tell if she was completely captivated by the thought of Magical Transportation or just had no questions. She decided it was the latter. "Well.. I don't think I have any questions here," she said, giving another cursory glance about the area. She supposed they could keep moving if that was the consensus.
