Atticus probably looked like he needed a break. He felt like he hadn't gotten any sleep for the past several days, and even before then, around the beginning of September, getting a good night's sleep happened only about every other day. This new sleeping problem was starting to take its toll, evident in his slower steps and the fewer smiles that he gave. If he was honest with himself, he knew the reason why he was having this problem, but though he was generally an honest person, he wasn't when it came to himself and this kind of thing. Ignoring it had worked before, so he would continue to do so.
Taking a seat on one of the couches by the fireplace, he set his elbow on the armrest, laid his head on his fist, and closed his eyes. Maybe if he just sat here for a couple minutes and rested his eyes, he could make it through the rest of this day...

Amy burst into the room and struck a small pose. She was going to make full use of her break by coming here, to the break room, and 'getting to know' some of the hotties that working in Level 4. Oh Amy, you're such a smart little cookie! A smart, gorgeous cookie who knows how to get the guys. What more can anyone ask for?
Grabbing a nice cup of steaming coffee, Amy turned round to find a lonely man. Her eyes scanned the seating area until they landed on... was that Attractive Man? Amy flicked her hair and let her lips form itself into an Amy-smile as she made her way towards the man. Her boss. A guy who probably didn't even know she existed.
Reaching the man, Amy sat down opposite him. Her eyes wandered over the various features of his face. Unless she was mistaken, Attractive Man seemed a bit sad. His eyes were closed and he was just... sitting there. "You know, Attrac-Atticus," she said, in a sweet voice, "Someone with a brilliant mind once said... gorgeous people aren't meant to be sad." And with this, Amy let a smirk spread across her face and sipped her coffee in a very Amy way.

Amy moved forward slightly in her seat. Attractive Man was far too far away! He needed to be closer to her so she can smell his musky scent. Mmmm! Musky scents of a good looking man! Attractive Man was probably one of those men who constantly smelt good.
But as for Atticus... the man seemed to be saying something! He was tired. Right! How could Amy make this more flirty? There was the hair flicking/twirling. It was probably the thing that got him thinking about her in the first place. But maybe... she could do something else?
And then it hit her. This would be perfect! Amy leant forwards and gently touched his hand. "You know, Atticus," she whispered, looking deep into his eyes, "I may be your employee but you could tell me anything." A flash of her sweet smile later, and Amy leant back. Atticus had officially had a chance to be really close to her. Now he was going to want more! This was a genius plan!

Upon entering the room he immeadiately noticed the change. He went over to the tabe with the drinks, and poured some tea water. Then he picked out an English Breakfast tea. He dipped the tea bag a few times into the hot water, and let it sit in there for a while. He then took the tea bag out after about two minutes. He added two cubes of sugar, then he stirred it. He found a seat at a nearby table, and waited for Atticus to come in.

Atticus got himself a cup of coffee almost as soon as he entered the break room. He added a bit of sugar to it before taking a sip. Ahh, yes, that tasted good. With the cup in one hand, he turned and would've headed for one of the couches by the fireplace, but he noticed one of his employees had already followed him here.
Atticus smiled. "The break room called your name too, eh?"

"Ahh yes indeed it did. I needed a nice warm tea. Haven't had one in ages." He said then took a sip of his tea. "I almost forgot what it tasted like. So anything happened outside the ministry lately?" Thomas asked Atticus. He then took out a locket from his pocket, and opened it. An image of his brother was on the inside of it.

Almost forgot what it tasted like? "Must've been quite a long time then," he replied with a slight chuckle. As for anything that had happened outside the Ministry recently... Hm. There was, of course, the protest against the former Minister Borr, but that had happened over a year ago now - Merlin, had that much time passed already? Strange. But certainly not something he considered to have happened "lately." "Nothing out of the ordinary, I believe," he replied before taking a thoughtful sip of his coffee.
He then watched as Thomas pulled out what appeared to be a locket. The young man seemed to be looking at something inside, and though Atticus couldn't quite see it from this angle, he assumed it to be a photograph of someone. "That's a nice locket you have there," he commented with a smile.

"Thanks. My younger brother has one identical to this, but with a picture of me on the inside. He's off at Hogwarts. He's in his second year there. He's really nice. Do you have a brother or sister at Hogwarts?" He said putting the locket on the table so he can see the photo.
