As beautiful as these carpets are, it's no wonder they lured you over to take a better look. Rich tapestries and intricate patterns surround you in the flying carpet booths set up at one end of the stadium. With the newly revised flying carpet laws, vendors are more than eager to sell their luxurious flying carpets. Want a test ride before you buy? That can be arranged too. Simply ask one of the vendors for assistance and be sure not to fly off without permission!

Broomsticks were definitely more of Isabella's forte when it came to preferred transportation methods. However these days there were so many more options, including apparition now that she was of age. Unable to properly hold any food down, the Norwegian Chaser made her way around to visit the vendors instead.
She had one of the fastest racing brooms on the market, thanks a generous gift from her parents when she made the Under 17 league two years ago. Nonetheless she couldn't help but feel attracted to the lush patterns on display of the flying carpets. It was as if no broomstick in the world could compare and all she wanted to really do was take a ride on one of those carpets. To see if she could feel the wind gushing through her hair in the same effect that a broomstick had. Actually, the flying carpets really just made her want to see the world, a shining glimmering place...

Pssssh.
Who wanted to fly around on carpets when there were brooms? Certainly not Roarke O'Brien. Yet the seventeen year old could not stop himself from going in the direction of the carpets. The bright colours seemed to be drawing him in. Would it hurt if he took a look? He didn't think so.
Sticking his hands in his jeans pockets, the Irish chaser paused before the closest vendor. Roarke tried not to seem too interested in the carpets. Brooms were the superior way to travel. His eyes travelled along to other vendors which made him take note of Isabella. "Thinking of swapping your broom for a carpet, Isabella?'' he called.

Okay this was a good day. Interesting day. He wasn't big into sports, but he did have a job to do. The Level 5 employee wasn't there just to have fun today, though fun was what he was going to have right now. There was no way he wasn't stopping at the carpets. Since taking the job, Warner hadn't spent too much extra money on things, but this might be something he could get into. He wondered what Flynn would think seeing him riding a carpet. Forget the broom he'd fly in style, but he'd be the cool uncle then, not that he wasn't already.
Walking over he looked around. They were all so colorful and expensive looking. He was surely going to be spending some money today if he decided to buy one, but he would be flying it first. Test riding was an important part of the purchase and the fun.
Oliver decided to walk around a bit while he and his son were there since they had some time before things got underway. He wanted to spend a little father-son time together today and, while neither of them were the most avid Quidditch fans, he still thought this would be a pretty fun thing to do. "Hey, why don't we take a look at the flying carpets?" he mentioned to his 11 year old son as he steered them that way. Levi would probably rather look at the souvenirs and they could still do that too, but they were closest to this booth and it caught his eye so why not.
Once they got to the carpets, Oliver stood in front of a particularly ornate one with vibrant colors. "What do you think about this one?" he asked his son, his eyes remaining on the carpet a moment before searching for a salesperson. It might not be a bad idea to think about one of these for traveling around with his boys now that the laws regulating flying carpets had recently changed. But he should probably find out how much they are before considering it seriously. And maybe even a test ride. That would be fun, right?
Levi was pretty excited for this Quidditch tournament. He didn't really know either of the teams that were playing today, and he really knew a little bit about the pro teams, but it seemed like a really fun day that he would get to spend with his dad. He wasn't quite so sure about the flying carpets though.
The eleven year old followed his dad over and looked at the carpet he was in front of. "It looks good," he told his father when posed with the question. "Are we going to get one?" He wasn't nearly as interesting in the carpets as he would be in probably a different thing, but he could look with his dad for now. Hopefully not too long though.

CUSTOMERS! How gloriously amazing was this? Aadil put on a big welcoming smile. Come on spend your money on these amazing flying carpets. Only the best that money can buy!
The man looked over at a boy (FearlessLeader19) and a girl (PhoenixRising) that had walked into the vending area. Aadil walked over to the two teenagers. "Do you the two of you fancy buying a magic carpet today?" He said in his cheery salesman tone.
Just the he noticed another person walk in. "Hello sir." Aadil greeted the man (Bazinga). "Is there anything I can help you with or are you just looking for the time being?" He didn't want to rush his customers but he did want them to buy something no matter how long it took them but seriously no rushing anyone.
Oh my goodness! More people!! "Come in, come in!! Take a look around and if you have any questions you are more than welcome to ask, I don't bite." He said to the two guys (emjay) that walked in. Today was going to be so very exciting and hopefully full of profit!

Kali had ventured out to the Quidditch event. she was bored and tired of being alone. She figured some of her classmates would be out here and she could hang with them. She should have invited Ollie. This would have been a great event to bring him to.
Kali had passed the petting zoo and giggled at some of the little kids there when something caught her eye. Was that a flying carpet vendor?!?
She hadn't realized that the laws had changed lately and magic carpets were legal. But obviously, she wasn't passing up on this.
Heading over there, Kali ran her hand along the fabric. The designs were beautiful. She doubted that she would be able to afford one. But she at least wanted a test drive.

Quidditch was interesting enough, Brooklyn guessed. She’d been around it in one way since she was an infant, but that didn’t mean she was the type to get all excited over the sport. She had other things to find interesting after all, and foremost of those was birthday things. However, she was too old to fight it when she’d been asked to go along when her father chose to make an appearance. It had either been that or staying home by herself, after all, seeing as both parents were around the event somewhere and her sister was in New York with Austin and Tyson. Lily hadn’t liked Apparition much before now and Brooklyn didn’t expect her older sister to like it any more at the moment. And Muggle transportation took too long.
Leaving her parents was easy enough, as she’d wandered over near the flying carpet vendors. Staying well clear of the petting zoo and the kids running around there. The only reason she’d go there was if they had a dragon, and she doubted that was going to happen. It was easier to stay away from the little kids. A near smile appeared on her face as she saw a familiar figure over at one of the carpets, though, and she walked over without a pause. “I wonder how it rides?,” she mused aloud, fingering some of the fringe edging one end idly.

This rug was beauuuuutiful. The markings on it were intricate. The color was... Astonishing. What was the price? Oy vey. The price. Nope. Definitely can't afford that. Maybe she could steal it..............
Only Kali had never stolen anything in her life. A magic carpet was probably the worst thing to steal first hand.. BUT how awesome would that be??
Kali was about to look around when a voice came up beside her. She yelped, her heart jumping out of her chest. "merlins beard Brooklyn!!!" Nope. She was not stealing that carpet. But riding it, riding it she could do.
Once her heart was back in her chest and pumping like normal, Kali nodded. "We should! Riding on magic carpets I mean. Let's try THIS one out!" Kali said pointing to the carpet she had been admiring before she was almost killed, with her heart out of her chest!

There hadn’t really been that much attention brought to the carpet, even as Brooklyn had continued fingering the fringe. She wasn’t looking to buy anything, after all. Even if she’d had money to buy anything at the event, she wasn’t particularly concerned about a flying carpet. Even her comment hadn’t really been entirely serious, although she wouldn’t have turned away an offer to ride it. Carpets seemed slightly less dangerous than brooms after all. It was a wider surface, so it had to be safer. She wouldn’t be looking down at the ground the entire time.
A slight smirk crossed her face at the reaction from Kali, however. She hadn’t thought she’d been that quiet. It was an interesting thing to consider, though. She had thought her friend had noticed her arrival, but apparently that hadn’t been the case. She wasn’t bothered by the whole situation either way. No one had died.
“Think we’d be allowed to?,” she replied with a shrug, acting much less enthusiastic than the other girl even though she was definitely curious what the carpet flew like. No one had seemed bothered by their perusal of said carpet, or offered to give them a ride. She was beginning to wonder what the vendor was even doing if he wasn’t paying attention to customers. Or, non-customers, but then nobody knew that for sure. They could have been thinking about buying one.
