| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... Back to work already, Victoria had been dreading going back to work. She loved work, she loved her department, she loved Quidditch. She had even been doing lots of work at home, since Quidditch didn't take a winter break. It was just coming back to the ministry, the ministry that she just lost the election with. The coworkers that must not have seen her as a good leader. She was embarrassed and envied the people that ran that didn't work for the ministry at the time. They didn't have to go face the people that didn't think she was good enough.
Walking towards the conference room she got a whiff of the coffee from the coffee cart and stopped a moment. That smell was just too strong and it made her stomach turn. Though she thought it might have been her nerves coming back to work after dreading it.
Picking up her step she entered the conference room to notice that only two were there so far. "Good Morning" She said quietly and took a seat next to Mariel. Pulling out her parchment to get ready for the meeting start she wasn't feeling up to being talkative, so she kept her eyes on her parchment and waited.

| Mr. Unicorn: Kim's daughter: Jenn's sister : MILKSHAKES: Lita Daley: The Sun: Its so Fluffy! When Saxon walked into the conference room she wasn't so surprised to see Mariel and Deacon here already. Mariel had to be, it would be bad manners being the boss and not showing up early. And Deacon was here too, good. Hopefully the readiness of arriving early, for him, was good signs for the rest of the year at the Ministry when it came to gobstones.
"Hello Deacon, Mariel." She said, giving them a nod and a smile. Saxon wouldn't bother them right now, it seemed like they were about to get into conversation. What she did do was grab herself a raspberry danish before finding herself a seat at the table, and taking out a small notebook. If she needed to look back into something further into the work year then she would have her notes to rely on.
Victoria was noticed next. She seemed a bit down, which was understandable. Saxon wondered if telling her that she had believed in her abilities, would be a blow to her or a compliment to Victoria. She wasn't quite sure, so she kept quiet, mostly. "Hi, Victoria." Saxon said giving her a small, encouraging smile, Victoria didn't have to say anything back, though.
They had a lot of planning and working to do, but Saxon wasn't certain they would be able to handle it. Especially with gobstones, if they wanted to finish this project in mind, they would need all the hands they could get.

| ❅ Purple Lightsaber ❅| | Captain Sarcastic | It was hard to believe that she had been working for the Ministry for a year. It had already been that long. A lot had changed since her first day. Once thing was her belly. She was ready to get back to the swing of being back in the office. She really hated leaving Chris alone at home looking at houses. Which was becoming more of a task than anything. There would soon be a baby, two teenage boys there too. Plus them, they were looking for a place for essentially five people. At least wedding planning was coming along well.
So working was just the distraction she needed. Looking at the time she decided to go ahead and head to the conference room. She grabbed her bag, before heading out of the offices. When she arrived she noticed that the turnout was small so far. "Good morning, everyone." She was in a fairly good mood. She poured a cup of coffee and grabbed a doughnut.

| Who Am I? Ern's 2460FUN Ferris disliked large groups of people. It not only gave him anxiety but it kept him from his work. His time would have been much more wisely used had the department had the foresight to not request he be at this meeting. He would be of no help anyway. Well, um, you see....because of his phobias and aversions to human beings.
.....it took several minutes but Ferris eventually slipped into the room. Avoiding all eye contact and sitting as far away from people as possible.
He missed his work space. And his entire body remained rigid.

| Sarah thinks I'm cute | Shan's safe space. Adjusting his tie a little bit as he entered the door, Adam grinned and ran a hand through his hair. "Morning everyone. Mariel, Vic." Everyone got nods, and he saved a very special smile for Victoria - over the past few months she'd practically become part of the Stemp family, and he was gutted for her that she'd lost the election, because he genuinely thought that she deserved it. He knew that she would be thoroughly unhappy about it, but he knew that she had nothing to be embarrassed or upset about. No one doubted her abilities, and he was apt to prove that to her this year.
Taking a seat, he pulled his notebook from his back and waited for the meeting to begin.

| Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent It wasn't long before her employees started arriving. Good, Mariel valued punctuality. She looked up and smiled, slightly surprised to see Deacon as the first to enter the room after her. "Good morning, Deacon. I had a wonderful holiday." So much so that she almost didn't come back. Or at least the thought had crossed her mind. "I hope you can say the same?" Green eyes next fell on Victoria and she gave her a small smile, though she didn't appear to be in the best mood. "Morning, Vic," she said brightly. She was sure she wasn't happy about the result of the election, which Mariel certainly wasn't either. No one was as qualified as she was, in her opinion, and she had her thoughts about anyone who didn't vote for her. None of which she would voice. Though she had to say that she was thankful that she was still part of her team. "Saxon.. Mercedes.. hello." Mariel smiled and greeted the next two that walked in as well. And then she watched as their specialty inventor seemed to hesitantly enter the room. "Good morning, Mr. Karten," she acknowledged him with a warm smile as he took a seat. She really wanted him to feel like a part of the team, and she wasn't so sure that he did. She'd have to work on that, maybe make it her pet project. And there was Adam. "Hello.. hope you had a good holiday." She found Christmas to be just lovely with her own family, she'd figure his was similar.
That was nearly everyone, save their newest employee and a few others, but their division managers would have to fill them in as she was not going to wait any longer to begin. "Good morning, everyone," she began, rising from her seat. "Please help yourself to something to eat or drink." She gestured at the donuts and danishes as well as the coffee and other beverages. "I'll try not to keep you too long today, but I did want to talk about the development and progress of some of the events we had planned for this year, specifically the Quidditch summer camp and children's Gobstones programs."
She looked towards her employees in those two divisions first. "How has your progress been coming in those areas? Do we have any players lined up or either of those yet?" She could help them work out the details, but needed to know where their development stood at this point.

| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... Victoria forced a smile to all that came in, but mostly she tried to keep her eyes down towards her parchment. When Adam entered she gave a little more genuine smile, she owed him that. He put up with her for the last year and this campaign. Such a very sweet man, the entire family was a blessing to her. Giving the rest of the employees small waves she looked back at her parchment until Mariel started talking.
Glancing at the food her stomach turned and she decided she wouldn't be touching it, not even the coffee. She had water, that would be good enough.
Getting a bit more comfortable in her seat she pulled some notes out of her bag as her boss talked about the summer camp. It had been her main focus over break when she wasn't doing family things. It kept her mind away from the other things that had gone on. She knew her team was smaller, but they would do a good job.
As Mariel asked on the progress she moved her notes around, "We are working on the age groups and how they should be divided, I'm trying to get some sponsors to maybe have brooms available for any child that might not have one. " Shuffling through her notes she looked back up at the rest, "Mercedes is working with the press to make sure all that PR part will go out on time. Sign ups will come straight here. As for players I haven't sent the final owl out yet, but with it being off season we should be able to get a good number to volunteer." Most of the players were always so willing to help out.

| HOLISTIC ACTRESS {X O} EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED This felt a little, different? This whole thing was so new, so very new. It wasn’t something that she would ever really get used to – or well, that was how it felt so far. She worked Public Relations? That wasn’t something that she had thought she would ever really be hired for, she just hoped that she got along with her boss and her other coworkers.
Quietly she slipped into an open seat around the table. Her notebooks in front of her as she really wanted to know what she was supposed to do – did she mention public relations were new to her? The surprisingly short blonde glanced around the room and made sure to glance around at all of her corworkers and her…boss?
She sent Mrs. De La Garza a soft smile as she sat there. “Good day Miss De La Garza,” she smiled over to her. Children’s gobstones? That sounded like a great idea – and really she had to pay attention to that considering she worked with the Gobstones team now.

| Mr. Unicorn: Kim's daughter: Jenn's sister : MILKSHAKES: Lita Daley: The Sun: Its so Fluffy! Saxon nodded her head once Mariel started to briefly mention what she wanted to accomplish this year and what she wanted to hear from her employs.
Victoria, as always with her, seemed to be on top of her task and what she had in mind. Saxon had some input to say on the age topic. "Perhaps we can have the really young kids age group be, for example five to eight years, nine to thirteen and lastly fourteen to sixteen or seventeen?" That seemed good to Saxon, hopefully that helped a bit. "Maybe the teams that greatly enjoyed the quidditch event will be likely to help? I would try to come into contact with them, if I were in those shoes." Of course, when it came to starting something new, any and all helping hands, whether from Ministry or Professional athletes were always appreciated.
The blonde was about to speak up for her part of the department until she noticed a latecomer. No matter, she hadn't arrived too late and hadn't missed much. "Yes, for the children's gobstones program Deacon and I were thinking that the ages should be eleven and under, and that it will most likely, and hopefully be held here at the daycare center." There was not much of a point having kids eleven plus participate, seeing as most likely they will all be in school by then. "We're figuring out which teams we want to hopefully volunteer, and will be contacting the players in a few short weeks." Was there anything else new to add? Saxon glanced over at Deacon for a while, almost as if silently asking him if there was anything he wanted to say too, without putting him on the spotlight.
Also, Saxon hoped the newcomer was doing her best to understand the gist of this. It was a lot to take in, especially for the first day. So, she shouldn't be scared about wanting to come up to her or Deacon after the meeting or anytime during the rest of the year.

Mercedes sat and waited around as more of co-workers showed up. She finished up her doughnut and took a few more sips of coffee before sitting the cup down in front of her. Digging through her bag she got her notebook and pen. Just in case, she needed to take notes or write down any reminders for herself. Smiling back at Mariel, before the meeting actually started.
She had heard that the department had gotten quite smaller. But she never expected it to be this small. One new hire. They all would have a lot on their plate now. Not that Mercedes minded. She liked being busy with work. Even on top of all the other things going on.
Giving her full attention once the meeting started. Quidditch summer camp, and the kid's Gobstone program was their main focus right now. Mercedes had been in contact with the press and other media outlets with the camp things. She had been working on a few things with this. She speaking up "I sure we can get plenty of players to help out with the summer camp." She looked over a Saxon when she spoke up. She agreed with her age groups and they sounded like they would work together.

| Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Mariel wasn't surprised that Victoria was the first to speak up. Turning her eyes towards her, she listened to the progress the Quidditch division had made so far. "Oh, a sponsor for brooms sounds perfect. There is sure to be a few without one." And they didn't want to have to turn anyone away if cost was an issue. Good job for thinking of that. She glanced over at Mercedes at Vic's mention. "Well, if you need any assistance with the press, let me know." She, of course, had her own connections there. Looking at both of them, she listened to what they said about getting players to commit. "Alright, we should get a jump on that sooner rather than later, I think. Get a confirmation from at least a few so that we can advertise with some names and make sure there are enough to help out." She knew that many were willing, but there were just as many not. And she thought it would make their jobs easier i they had that part squared away too.
She noticed their newest employee slip in next, but as she had already started the meeting, Mariel simply gave her a nod. She might say something later about how she valued punctuality in her employees but Ms. Johanson could just listen for now. They'd be talking about Gobstones next and if she had any thoughts, they'd be welcome too. She listened a moment to Saxon. "I think the daycare center is a great start for this," she nodded. And if it took off, they could do something bigger. "I think we have a little more time to get player confirmation, but I wouldn't hold off too long with that." She flipped open her appointment book. "Are we still thinking Autumn? Did you have a specific date yet?"
She glanced around the room with a small smile. "As you can see, we have quite a small group this year. That means we'll all have to pitch in to help, even with things that may not be in your specific division.. but it really will benefit everyone." The entire department as well as the rest of the Ministry and community. But she had a great team, so she knew she could count on them. And she was glad to see Saxon jumping in on suggestions for the Quidditch camp. "Adam.. Mr Karten.." She looked to the two men. "Are either of you working on or has anything come through the offices that could be used for either of these events we are working on?" She was certain that the prank gobstones could be used, but if any new developments came in, that would be great too. "Also.. the change in violations for Quidditch as well as the cheating from one of the teams in Gobstones.. has there been any new development for either?" For better or worse.. or even if there was nothing new, Mariel just wanted the current information.

Deacon sure had his fill of breakfast in between the conversing going on. His usual two-finger salute wave at those who had arrived and a little mix of his so-called dashing smile at the new employee joining the ranks of Gobstones. He had a thing for welcoming the newer ladies with his own looks. In a friendly matter of course, he was happily taken but wasn't stupid enough to not appreciate when someone else had good looks of their own. Heeeey.. But no seriously, he was a good guy. Friendly at the worst.
Saxon then beautifully described their plans for the daycare center. Still casually sitting he nodded approvingly at her. Now it was the question on any new regulations. Well, since Saxon had already started discussing plans with the daycare he chose not to step on her speakings of it by waiting until after. "Under our division after the punishment had been laid out for that team we then implemented a mandatory scanning check on each player, the stones and the field in between measurements and breaks. That way it'll help insure that the right stones are still being played and prevent further tampering." |

| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... Noticing the new person slip in Victoria just gave a nod, she was Gobstones, but Vic would still greet her after the meeting. She sighed quietly to think she didn’t get any new people, but her little team would make things work. They always did and she wasn’t afraid to step up her own duties to help out. Her eyes moved over to Saxon as she spoke, she dearly loved the woman and had become good friends, at least she thought so, but she could tell that she might not have many Quidditch children around her. “That’s a good thought, but five and eight broom levels can be so different. Five year olds are just starting out have never been on a broom so they will need the basic of the basic riding lessons and the brooms that do not go very high, where eight year olds could go a little higher and start ball handling skills.” It seemed crazy, but her own son had started camps at five so she understood the age gaps a bit more. “What I’m hoping for depending on ages and groups is to have a basic flying group, a beginners Quidditch group, a moderate Quidditch group, and for our older children a more advance group.” That way they could work on all their skill levels without the more inexperienced in the way. My son has mentioned that flying is not something the school is teaching anymore. I think we really need to think about that for these camps as well. If muggleborns aren’t getting proper training on a broom how will they ever be interested in flying or trying to play Quidditch.”[/b] Though without Quidditch at the school it didn’t seem to matter. “I was thinking maybe we could find some flying coaches and possibly have some flying lessons set up for the younger children.” It had nothing to do with the camp actually, but the thought was there so she brought it up.
When the topic moved to the Gobstones, Vic was very interested since she loved the game, thought a few questions came to mind. “Eleven would probably not be at the daycare. They would most likely be at school. Do we know the exact ages that are there and how young would be too young to start?” She knew there were some parents that were crazy enough or lacked the common sense that would try to get a two year old in this. “Also, would we offer it to the community as well or just the daycare, because I’d love for my girls to be part of it if they are the right age for it that is.” They’d be four soon, so that seemed like an okay age to start learning the sport.
She had heard about the cheating stuff the Hereford Hippogriffs had done. Read it in the WSPM actually, very sad that they had to do that. She shook her head as she listened to Deacon. Glad that something was being done. “The regulations have been going smoothly. We’ve had a drop in fouls this seasons. So I’m pretty impressed with how it’s going. We’ve had a few complaints that it’s too strict which I’m willing to go back and look at it if we want, but for now I think it’s fine. The highest foul is a two at the moment, but there is plenty of the season left.” It was only January so she could see it getting close to four.

| Mr. Unicorn: Kim's daughter: Jenn's sister : MILKSHAKES: Lita Daley: The Sun: Its so Fluffy! Ah, good, Deacon had taken care of answering Mariel's question about the mess the Hereford Hippogriffs had gotten themselves into. You know, none of this would be necessary if everyone played fairly, sigh. But, they had a good hold on it, and hopefully in the future, they wouldn't have to deal with this sort of level level intelligence ever again.
Let's hope.
Saxon listened to what Victoria had to offer for her team and what advice or thoughts she even had for gobstones. But, first, Victoria had a good idea on what to do with the quidditch camps, and even suggested, or furthered Saxon's point. They had slightly, yet different perspectives on this, and although it seemed her co-worker had everything under control in terms of game planning, Saxon would be willing to help. Now age range, or at least the beginning, of the gobstones kids program was brought to her attention. "We haven't thought of an actual beginning age range. We've mostly figured up to eleven would be good, but your point about those children possibly being away at school, is a good point." What would be a good starting point? "Maybe four of five would be good? We could always shrink the gobstones so that there isn't too much of a danger to the younger kids." If that did happen they would have to make sure no kid thinks that their gobstone was a candy that could be edible. Hmmm, Saxon couldn't remember if she and Deacon had ever talked about bringing the program to the community rather than the children who had parents working at the ministry. "As far as I can remember we haven't talked about that. But, I'm sure we can bring it to the public community, instead of just ministry children. As they say, the more the merrier." Saxon said with a nod and warm smile. It wouldn't be much more difficult to do that. All they had to do was get more promotion in general.

| Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Green eyes shifted towards Deacon as he then spoke up about the recent Gobstones issues they had and Mariel nodded at his update. "Good, that sounds like that will help prevent any future issues." It was a shame that it happened at all, but she supposed she wasn't too surprised. There was always someone who tried to force an advantage.
She then turned her attention towards Victoria and Saxon as they began to discuss the proposed Quidditch camp in further detail. She, herself, had started out rather young on a broom, but Victoria had a very good point about the difference in skill levels at that age and she nodded her agreement. "Alright, that sounds good in regards to dividing up the groups," she said, jotting down in her notes what Victoria was saying about different skills. That all made perfect sense to her. "Have you decided what skills for them to work on or develop in each group, or is that more for the coaches and players to determine?" Either way worked for her, but one might affect timing issues more than the other. And a level of consistency would be good so it might be better to decide in-house. Listening more about the disservice that Hogwarts was doing for their students regarding Quidditch and flying in general, she nodded at Victoria. "That's a shame, really. I think having our own flying lessons could be a viable solution though." She made a note of that also. "In the summer as well?" Probably would be the only time kids of that age could do it.
And now Gobstones. Mariel again looked between the ones that expanded a little more on the proposed events, listening before she added anything else. Yes, she knew that by age eleven children were likely to not be at the daycare, she was under the impression that it would be up to that age. "I think four to ten is probably a good range. Maybe split up into two groups?" Something easy or beginner for the younger ones and a little more challenging for the older ones, but not too much so. That was still a little young. "Oh.. no.." Mariel said suddenly, shaking her head a bit and chuckling. "We'll want to do the opposite of that, Saxon. Increase the size of the stones for the younger group. Little ones often like to put things in their mouths, we don't want anyone to choke." Though likely at age four, they would be out of that stage, but no taking chances. Of course, having her own little one at home made her a little more attuned to that sort of thing. "And yes, the idea is to branch it out for the community, but we'd like to try it out in the daycare first to see how it goes." She would like it to have a broader reach eventually though.
It sounded like Quidditch regulations were doing well also. She nodded as Victoria essentially said so, though people thinking things were too strict didn't surprise her. "Good. We can always look things over at the end of the season to see if anything needs adjusted." She always thought it best to give it a whole season to see how things were affected good or bad. "We also need to schedule a few promotional things for both Quidditch or Gobstones.." But of course that could wait, she had kept them long enough. And if there was nothing else.. she got up and started passing out the magazines she had with her paperwork. "I'd like you each to have a complimentary copy of the newest sports magazine out there." Of course she knew that some of them knew about it, but now they all would. "Wizarding Sports Programming Magazine.. my brilliant husband is the creator and owner, and it features all of the most up to date and cutting edge stories." And she knew that it was only a matter of time before it was even bigger.

| Mr. Unicorn: Kim's daughter: Jenn's sister : MILKSHAKES: Lita Daley: The Sun: Its so Fluffy! It seemed that Saxon and Deacon, and hopefully their new member of the division wanted to jump in, had some very minor thinking to do in terms of trying to split up a group. Saxon figured the younger kids would stick together, while the slightly older ones, although the program wouldn't contain very old kids may be grouped together. That may not be the case. Also, Mariel questioning Victoria about what skills would be developed in learning how to play quidditch brought attention to Saxon that maybe even that would have to be thought about for gobstones.
God. Saxon covered her face when Mariel corrected on her to make the gobstones bigger, rather than smaller. That would be terrible. Its a good thing she mentioned it now and let it out, rather than panicking later when the program started. Though, Deacon might've rejected that idea had Saxon brought it up earlier. "Of course, Ministry comes first." Saxon said, agreeing with Mariel. Perhaps she should've clearly elaborated on her words earlier.
The blonde took the newest issue of the wizarding sports magazine. She quickly flipped through the pages, but told herself she would thoroughly read through it later. Did anyone else have anything to offer to the meeting?

| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... "Yes I have thought of that. Beginners would just have flying skills, which the child brooms that don't get up off the ground too much. The next group would have some basic catching and balance skills. Thought some chasers would like to teach the kids this, the next group would go into some more tricky skill training for different positions. Learn them all and have a basic understanding for each position. The last group could do some trainings and possibly games since many of them have played before. This group would be the more advanced group." She looked back at her notes to see if she'd missed anything, but she felt she hadn't. What she had missed was the smell of coffee that had just hit her nose and her stomach did a flip.
Listening to Mariel she smiled and nodded, "I would think this could be the best time. If the school isn't giving flying lessons then we could certainly do it in the summer to make sure all ages that need to learn could. Muggleborns especially wouldn't know anything about brooms until school, so if we don't do it in the summer, they might not have a chance." That was just ridiculous not to help them learn.
Listening to Saxon her eyes did get a little bigger with the ball sizes, but Mariel corrected her and Victoria went back to listening. "Well if we find we need some extras I have two very eager three year old, who will be four by that time, that will play." Her girls knew what Gobstones were, they didn't have a chance not to know what sports were with their parents both being a huge part of it. Plus brothers as well. "I'd like to schedule a few photoshoots, but I think some community events with both Gobstones and Quidditch could be fun." It was always good to give back. Taking one of the magazines, she had already seen the issue, but flipped through it anyway. What a lovely thing that it was for the ministry, she wished him the best to make it even bigger.

They had been busy with the season, so busy that it was already February and she hadn't had a team meeting since coming back in from Holiday break. She had a few things she needed to discuss with her team so she had put a memo out and told them to be there at 10 a.m. sharp. Enough time for them to get their morning things out of the way and they could have the meeting over by lunch. Yes it would be perfect.
She wanted a little more leg room for the meeting today so instead of having it in the Quidditch office she decided to do it in the conference room. Having some snacks, coffee, and tea put out Victoria made her way into the room at 9:50. She liked the quiet before a meeting started, so sitting down she could collect her thoughts. She had too many of them lately.

This was amazing but to be honest she was happy about nearly everything she did. This department was perfect for her and she knew it, it involved sports so why wouldn't it be perfect for her. She was a little nervous about this job but she was also very relieved that she hadn't gotten lost yet. Talullah made her way into the conference room. She looked at her white watch, she was about five minutes early. She had gotten here ten minutes ago but she had to get herself some coffee. The blonde looked around with a smile on her face. "Good Morning!" She said cheerfully.

| ❅ Purple Lightsaber ❅| | Captain Sarcastic | After receiving the memo about the 10 o'clock meeting this morning, Mercedes got straight to working on her paper work. It would take about that time to finish the work this morning. But first thing was first she went to the coffee cart. Then she could get her day started.
Thinking it was about time she looked up seeing it was ten minutes until 10 she packed her things up, most likely the meeting would run into her lunch hour so she had her things done for after the meeting.
She headed down to the conference room. She smiled as she walked in, "Good morning, Talullah, Victoria." She sat her bag down beside one of the chairs and went over to grab a cup of tea. Then going back to the chair and sitting was it 10 o'clock yet?

| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... Sitting in her usual seat Victoria glanced around the empty conference room. Her thoughts on home things and some changes that were coming. She couldn't help but to smile because they were good changes even if Bart wasn't going to be moving back after graduation. If he was happy she was happy.
Her thoughts were interrupted as Talullah and Mercedes walked through the door. "Good morning ladies, I hope you have been having productive and good mornings." She had a productive few hours before coming here and most of her team seemed to be having the same. She couldn't help but think about how so many women ran their department. It was rather interesting, but she enjoyed it. Checking her watch, she decided to give the rest of the team a few more minutes.
Standing she walked over and handed each ladies an agenda for the meeting. There were a few thigns she needed to cover, but the rest would be a team lead flow. "I guess we could get started and when others arrive they can just get caught up. I would like to have some training for our team this term. I feel we've been having a bit of a turnover in regulations and that makes me feel we might need some training in efficient ways to do our paper work, to handle managers, and to just flow smoothly in our area. You all do a wonderful job and I appreciated everything you do. I'm just trying to make our jobs easier. The less stressed you are the better work you will do." Getting rid of a certain manager could probably help as well, but that wasn't going to happen or at least not at the moment. "What are your thoughts on some training?"

Hogwarts RPG Name: Periwinkle Evie Paeng Slytherin Fifth Year | Bre Bear | Asherine | Whisper | Kemmy | Raeney | Madyra | Bumble Bee The blonde walked over to a chair and set her orange bag down in it. She took a sip of her coffee a co-worker of hers had walked into the room. She knew this woman's name...she had met her at the orientation almost two months ago. It was...erm...it started with an 'M', she knew this! Mercedes? YES! That's what it was. So she was slowly learning and the woman that she had just greeted was one of her bosses, Victoria. Okay, okay. She hadn't met or seen any other co-workers or she at the very least didn't know what their names were. "Good Morning, Mercedes." The Irish woman greeted her as well. So was it only the three of them today or were people just running late? She was having a productive morning.
And let it the meeting begin....
Talullah moved her orange bag to the floor as she sat down in the chair and looked at the agenda sheet. It was going to be a some what busy day today. That was fine with her because she didn't really have that much to do or a social life so far. Lullah looked up at the woman and nodded as she talked. She was pretty good at listening. She had to be after all. Training, training. She was going to be a little slow at this. Stupid question number one. "By training do you mean the teams, the mangers or us?" She asked Victoria. Talullah went into her purse and took out a little notepad and a pen. She would have to write some notes down about this. "If you mean it's on our end then maybe we can do something like an assembly line? Like they would do in some muggle factories." But she really didn't have an idea really to make it any better. She wasn't used to paperwork yet.
Talullah tapped her teal pen against her lips. "Then again if you mean for managers maybe we can put a list of people together that would be good managers and I don't know just choose who is most qualified or speak with the owners when they go and hire some of them." Now for the team. She wanted to make her point even if she was blabbering too much. She was just trying to fully understand her job. "I know I wasn't playing in the British and Irish league but for teams there are times when I think that some practices for us were too short and in turn we would mess up in some matches." Okay, point made.

| ❅ Purple Lightsaber ❅| | Captain Sarcastic | The blonde made her way back to the the chair where her bag was and got comfortable. "Are you settling in alright?" She hadn't had a chance to ask Talulah how things were going. Even though it had been going on Over a month since she started. Mercedes took a sip of her tea, as she waited for the meeting to start. "Definitely, keeping busy this morning." There was plenty of work to keep her busy. She looked around and sadly disappointed that no one else had shown up yet. Maybe the others would get here soon.
She looked over the paper that she was given. She looked over it again and looked back up as Vic started the meeting with just the three of them there.
She had to agree that turn over was crazy in the department. She didn't understand why. Everyone got along good and everything. Maybe for regulations though, some of the managers were hard to deal with. Some of the managers were hard to deal with. Training sounded like a good thing. Mercedes tried her best to not laugh or make sound kind of noise when Talulah asked about training the managers. "Of course. Training is always something that is needed. For at least the sake of keeping a line of commutation open. I personally think it's lack of commutation. Communion with managers and us, players and us, and us." There commutation between each other was pretty good but there's always room for improvement.

| Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something... She listened to the two talk, though her facial expressions probably showed her thoughts on a few things. The assembly line was the first thing that had her cock an eyebrow. "Well since we aren't a factory and we have so many different areas of our department I'm not sure how that would work. We have our PR, our regulations, pitch maintenance, and many others." She really didn't feel the need to get into all of the areas, but that was enough to show that an assembly line wouldn't work and she wasn't fully sure what they would even be doing in a line with what they do. "The training would be for us. It is a team building and just a refresher on initial training for rules and regulations. It's always good to have my entire area experts not just my regulations." They had some very intense managers so everyone needed to be on their toes. "Managers and player things are up to the owners. We do some, but for the most part I leave that up to them." She wasn't touching their practices that was not their business. "Keep the ideas coming though, I like hearing what everyone has to say."
Though she couldn't say she was thrilled to hear the communication thing. She strived to keep the communication open. So hearing someone say they lacked it was disheartening. "Where do you think we are failing at that?" She needed to know if she was going to fix it.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Periwinkle Evie Paeng Slytherin Fifth Year | Bre Bear | Asherine | Whisper | Kemmy | Raeney | Madyra | Bumble Bee Talullah nodded. She looked down at her notepad and crossed out the words 'Assembly line' that was a bad idea. She really didn't have anymore ideas to give to her. She wasn't used to this side of Quidditch and she wasn't experienced at all with jobs like this. She was trying though and she really hoped that it was showing in this meeting so far but right now she had no idea what to suggests.
Keep the ideas coming?
There were only three of them there. Talullah thought that the lack of employee's that worked in this area of the department was horrible. Why have a job like this if you don't want to put forth the effort? The blonde wondered if this kind of thing happened in the other departments. If so that had to be a Ministry problem. Thinking more about it and hearing Mercedes talking and suggesting ideas. "As I'm becoming more aware of somethings in this department and I don't maybe this kind of thing is happening in some of the other departments but if the work load is an issue here then I don't think that's the issue at all." She paused for a moment to think about how she should word the next part. "I mean I've been here since January and it's almost April and the lack of employees showing up for work in this department amazes me." Talullah shrugged. "I really think this might be the source of the problem." Then again she could be wrong. She knew it really wasn't fully on their part here. "Unless it's just me that see's it." Maybe people get bored but if you're going to get bored at a job like this then why even apply for a job at the Ministry of Magic? Talullah really didn't know what she was getting at but she felt that she just had spoken her mind more than actually giving any of them an idea.
