Hey, guys! This is my fifth fanfic(yay!!) Only in this one, it's about the Marauders and their adventors, hope you like it. Enjoy

Chapter One: The Dream and the Letters Part 1

Lily Evans was playing with a little baby boy with a tuft of black hair and green eyes like hers until a man she didn't know ran into the room.
"Lily," he had said, panicking, "He's here! Voldemort's here, we've got to get out of here!" and a door opened and a terrifieing man holding a wand entered the room, laughing in a cruel, high voice.
"Lily, take Harry and go!" the man shouted as Lily grabbed the baby called Harry, "I'll hold him off!" Lily started to run, still holding a now crying baby until she heard the terrifieing man say, "Avada Kedavra" and heard something hit the ground. She turned and saw that the man who was panicking was lying on the floor, dead while his murderer was walking towards her.
"Give me the boy."
"Please, have mercy!" peaded Lily, "Please, take me instead!"
"Step aside," said the man in his cruel voice, "Step aside, girl."
"No please! Please don't take Harry! Take me!" The man laughed, pointed his wand at her and said, "Avada Kedavra!"
Lily opened her eyes and looked around, she was in her room, alive. She got out of her bed, turned on the lamp on her desk, and went to the window, she saw that the sky was still dark and guessed that everyone was still asleep. She looked at her reflection on the window and saw that she was pale and sweaty. Lily heard someone knock on her bedroom door, "Lily?" she heard her mother say, "May I come in?"
"Yes." Lily answered, going to her door and opening it. She saw her mother in a nightgown and in her robe at her doorway.
"How did you know I was awake?" asked Lily.
"I had a hunch." answered her mother, "Did you have a nightmare?"
"How did you know that?"
"I heard you saying words such as, 'Please' and 'Take me instead' Would you like to tell me about it?"
"Yes." Lily answered, backing away from the doorway so her mother could come into her room. Her mother walked in and sat on Lily's bed, "What happened in your dream?" Lily walked over to her bed, sat next to her, and explained what happened in the nightmare. "What do you think it means?" she asked when she finished telling what happened.
"I have no idea," said her mother, "Maybe you've seen too many scary movies."
"But none of them involved a man and a mother dieing from a man who has a snak-like nose, eyes like a cat, extremelly thin, or white as a ghost." said Lily.
"I don't know what your nightmare means then, Lily." said her mother, "It's just a nightmare and nightmares aren't real." she go up from the bed and walked to the doorway, "Try to get a good sleep."
"You're not going to tell dad or Petunia about this dream are you?" asked Lily.
"I won't if you don't want me to." Lily's mother said, turning to face her.
"Pinky swear?" Lily asked, holding up her pinky.
"Pinky swear." Lily's mother said, smiling as she crossed her pinky with Lily's, "Now, get some sleep."
"Yes, ma'am." Lily said, putting the covers over her and turing of her lamp as her mother closed the bedroom door.

the next chapter will be coming up soon, my family and I are getting ready for the holiday season. Happy Holidays! :D

The Dream and the Letters Part 2

James Potter woke up after having a weird dream about him panicking and trying to fight off a man who was completly white, extremally thin, and had a snake like nose. James got out of his bed and went into the bathroom. He looked into the mirror and saw that he was pale from the nightmare, he turned on the faucet in the sink and started to put the water in his face to cool off. James went back into his room only to hear familiar voice call his name; "James! James! James Potter are you there?! James looked around and saw Sirius Black's face in his magic mirror, he picked up the mirror and said, "Sirius, what are you doing up this late?"
"Kreacher woke me up," answered Sirius, "He wouldn't keep his voice down even if his life depended on it! Why are you up late?"
"Not only because you were calling me, but it was also because I had a weird dream," said James, "Did you get your letter yet?"
"Not yet, you?"
"No, I hope they come soon, we'll be able to hang out as much as we want."
"And I'll be away from this stupid place!" Sirius said, grudgingly, he hated living with his pureblood, muggle hating, family."
"Yeah, your family is horrible isn't it?"
"Besides my cousin Andromeda, I hate everybody in my family especially Regulas! I better go, I can hear Kreacher near my door and he's sure to tell them that I'm talking to you."
"See you at Hogwarts." James tapped his wand on the mirror to turn it off, he really missed Sirius, they've been friends for years and they hardly ever see eachother because their families hate eachother. James layed in his bed and tried to go back to sleep but he couldn't help but remember his nightmare. James shut his eyes and before he knew it, he heard his little sister, Mia running into his room, yelling, "You got your letter, you got your letter!" James sat up on his bed and looked at Mia, her black hair was messy because she was jumping around and because of sleep, her hazel eyes were open with excitement, and she was smiling broadly. James' mother walked into his room with a stern look on her face.
"Mia, I thout I told you to wait until James was awake!"
"It's okay, mum," said James, "I couldn't really sleep anyway."
"Why not?" asked Mia.
"Bad dream."
"What was it about?"
"Mia, I'm sure James wouldn't want to talk about his nightmare." James' mother said, giving Mia another stern look. James' father entered the room and asked, "Did I hear correctly?" he asked, "Did James get his letter yet?"
"Yes." Mia said, giving James his letter, "Open it, James! See what it says!"
"Mia!" said James' stern mother.
"You can't blame the girl for being overexcited." James' father said as James opened his letter.
"'Dear Mr. Potter,'" James read aloud, "'We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts, School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.'" James looked at his family with a smile on his face, "I can't wait to go there!"
"Who wouldn't be?" asked his mother, who was now smiling, "I don't know anyone who hasn't been appy about getting a Hogwarts letter."
"When shall we be going to Diagon Alley?" asked James' father.
"Well, I was thinking about doing some shopping today," said James' mother, "So I think we should all go there and get James' supplies today, there's no point in me going there today and having all of us going back there a few days later."
"I wonder if Sirius got his letter?" James wondered.
"I really hope he did," said Mia, "It would be great to see him again!"
"I'm sure he'll get his letter," James mother said, reasurringly, "I doubt that the teachers wouldn't want a boy like Sirius to come to Hogwarts. He seems like a very smart and charming boy."
"When does your train leave?" asked James' father.
"It leaves next week, exactly 11 o'clock." James answered, checking his letter.
"When am I allowed to go?" asked Mia.
"You'll be able to go next year." answered James' mother, "James and Sirius will be in their second year and you'll be in first."
"What's Hogwarts like?" James asked his parents.
"Well, it's a castle with wonderful teachers, simple classes, excellent feasts, Quidditch matches, and it also has friendly ghosts," answered James' father, "well, except a Poltergiest."
"Do you think I'll meet any werewolves or vampires?" James asked hopefully.
"I hope not." said James' mother.
"Actually there might be a possibility." said James' father, "Because of what's happening at the moment."
"What's happening now?" asked Mia.
"You'll learn later on when you're ready." answered James' mother, "Now, you two go downstairs and have some breakfast."

The Dream and the Letters Part 3

Sirius Black woke up at seven in the morning to find Kreacher going around in his room.
"Kreacher," he said groggily, "What are you doing?"
"Kreacher heard the young master talking to the Potter boy early in the morning." answered Kreacher not looking bup at Sirius, "The mistress sent me to get that mirror you talk into and give it o her to destroy it to keep you from talking to the Potter boy."
"Well, seeing as how I'm, like you said it, "The young master," I order you to stop searching the mirror and to not look for it ever again." Kreacher stood up straight and glared at Sirius with deepest loathing, "One of these days Kreacher will get the young master..." he muttered as he walked out of the room.
"But for now you will be here muttering until you end up like your dear old mother." he snarled to Kreacher. Kreacher turned to look at Sirius not just glaring, but also crying. As Kreacher ran out of Sirius' room, bawling, Sirius rolled his eyes and said to himself, "Little mistake of a house-elf he is." he got out of bed and put on some clothes. When he climbed downstairs into the kitchen he saw that his parents and brother, Regulas were already awake at the table. When Sirius sat down at the table, his mother glared at him and said, "Kreacher told us what you said to him about his mother."
"Mum, I don't know how you care since it was you who cut her head off and hung it on the wall."
"I don't care, all I care about is that if you insult him and make him upset, then he surches from his work and this house will get filthy."
"Like as if it already isn't." Sirius said under his breath.
"I heard that!" Sirius' father said over the Daily Prophet, "You better watch that attitude or you're not going to Hogwarts."
"Don't say that!" said Regulas, "It'd be god that he's not here for a whole year, then we won't have to put up with him!" Sirius scowled as his mother said, "Regulas is right, we can't have Sirius here every year when he's supposed to be away, it'll ruin the time our family needs." Sirius heard an owl and paper falling onto the floor in the living room. "My letter's here!"

The Dream and the Letters Part 5

"Dad, please let me in!" Remus Lupin shouted desperatly through the locked door. He was outside on a full moon and a werewolf was runing towards him, his father and mother were locked in their house to save themselves while Remus was stuck outside. His father offended a werewolf the other day by making fun of it's curse, and that night Remus was watching the stars until he saw the werewolf his father offended coming towards him. He ran towards the house and tried to open the door but his father locked it and wouldn't let him in. When Remus pleaded his father to let him inside, his mother and older sister Silvia tried to unlock the door but his father locked them in a closet. Remus turned around and saw that the werewolf was two yards away from him until it pounced on him, biting his arm. Remus yelled in pain as the werewolf's sharp teeth bit into his skin.

Remus opened his eyes and looked around, he was safe inside his room. Remus sat up and looked at the scar he got from the werewolf when he was eight. Remus heard someone knock on his door and come in, it was his mother.
"Morning mum." Remus said as his mother sat at the end of his bed.
"Good morning, Remus." she said beaming as she handed something to Remus, he saw that it was a letter.
"Is that what I think it is?" he asked excited as he took the letter and read it.
"Yes, it is." his mother said proudly, "It's your letter from Hogwarts,"
"I can't believe they're letting me attend due to my problem."
"We should be happy that Albus Dumbledore is the Headmaster now or you wouldn't be able to go."
"But what if some of the kids there make fun of me?" Remus asked looking up from his letter.
"Don't worry, I'm sure Dumbledore will keep it all a secret and I'm sure they'll find a place for you to transform."
"Dad says that being a werewolf is something to be ashamed of."
"Don't listen to your father," said Remus' mother, "It's not your fault that the werewolf bit you, and there's nothing to be ashamed of, being a werewolf or a vampire or anything else is a gift, and you must be happy for that gift."
"How is being a monster that bites people on a full moon a gift?"
"You'll know soon, I just know it. We'll go to Diagon Alley today to get your's and Silvia's things for school."
"Does dad know about my letter yet?"
"No, and I think it's best that we keep it a secret until you both leave, he'll might not allow you to go because of you condition." Remus' mother took the letter from him and started to read the list of thing he'll need for school.
"But what will happen to you when he finds out?" Remus asked concerned, his father was a very violant man and if he, Silvia, or his mother did anything to upset him, he would hurt them badly.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Remus' mother said, but Remus saw a look of concern in her eyes.
"Why can't we just leave him, you know, escape and never come back?"
"Because you know how bad your father is, and he'd be sure to find us and injure us or worse." she stood up and walked towards the door, "You might want o start getting ready, we're leaving to Diagon Alley as soon as your father leaves for work."

that was so nice.. stupid remmy father..evil evil evil stupid old man. how could he?!?! couldnt remmy jsut bite him and kill him?!?! he deserve to have his head chopped off!

He would, but you know that he's not that kind of a guy, also if he did, remember everybody in the Wizard world(well, except for the trio and the Order of the Pheonix) hate werewolves and if Remus bit his father and/or killed him, he'd be in Azkaban just like that!(snaps fingers) but don't worry, they'll be fine.

I was going to make the fifth chapter about Pettigrew's family(I mean, unfortunatly, he IS a Marauder) but right now...I got nothin' so while I think I'll make this chapter about how Lily got her letter

The Dream and the Letters Part 6

Lily woke up after a few hours of sleep and completly forgotten about her nightmare. She got out of her bed, walked downstairs, and went into the kitchen to have breakfast. She saw that her mother was already awake and was aready making breakfast for the family.
"Good morning, mum." Lily said as she rubbed her eyes
"Morning Lily," answered her mother, "Did you sleep better?"
"Yes, I also can't remember what happened in my nightmare."
"That's great, would you like some tea?" Lily's mother added holding two cups of warm tea.
"Yes, please." Lily said gratefully as she and her mother sat down at the table and drank their tea. "Are dad and Petunia still sleeping?"
"Yes, they're not early birds like you and me."
At that moment Lily heard a small click and paper htting the floor.
"That's strange," Lily's mother said as she left the kitchen and into the livingroom to the mailslot, "The mail never comes on Sundays."
As Lily drank her tea, her mother came back into the kitchen and said, "It's a letter for you." she handed Lily an envelope that was closed with a seal that had an "H" which was surrounded by a snake, lion, eagle, and badger. She opened the envelope and read the letter within it. Lily gasped and said, "Mum, I-I think that I'm a w-witch!"
Lily's mother laughed and said, "What akes you say that, dear?"
"This letter says that I've been accepted to a wizard's school called Hogwarts."

I'm sorry that this chapter was short, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway

The Dream and the Letters Part 7(and last)

Peter Pettigrew watched the other children play in outside as he stayed inside reading his book, he's never had a friend ever since he first came to the orphanage. Everyone thought that he was a bad kid because he was taken there by a police officer, Peter wasn't all that bad the police officer took him there because he was wandering around London looking for his mother, she left him at the park in the neighborhood when he was five so that she could do some shopping, but she never came back. Peter searched around London trying to find her until he met the officer and was taken to the orphanage. Peter was always made fun of because of all the weird things he would do without even meaning it, he was even made fun of how he looked, how he was a bit of a coward, and how hardly anyone liked him. The only people who did like him were only the adults who worked at the orphanage. While Peter was remembering all the weird things he could do, he didn't hear a man's voice saying his name. He looked around and saw an old man he never met before. The man had gray hair and beard, he wore hafl moon glasses, and he had a crooked nose.
"Hello, Mr. Pettigrew." the man said softly.
"How did you know my name?" asked Peter.
"I know a lot about you Mr. Pettigrew, I came here to tell you about a achool you will be attending."
"A school?" repeated Peter, "I've never been to an actual school before."
"Well, then I have a feeling that you will love this school very much," said the man, "And forgive me, I've fogotten to introduce myself, I am Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts."
"I've never heard of Hogwarts."
"I assume you haven't because Hogwarts is no ordinary school, but a school for witchcraft and wizardry, and I've almost forgotten to mention, you're a wizard."
"A-a wizard?
"Yes, you are indeed a wizard, I don't think you would know much about it since youl ived most of your life in a muggle orphange."
"What's a-"
"A muggle is a kind of person who doesn't have a drop of magic in their veins."
"But I can't be a wizard," said Peter, "I've never done magic before."
"Really?" asked Dumbledore, he sounded like he was trying to remind Peter of something, "Are you quite sure of that Mr. Pettigrew?"
Peter tried to remember everything he's been doing for the past six years, he was able to do bad things to people who picked on him, he was able to speak mice(I just wanted to put that in XD) an he was able to do things he didn't remember doing like the time ended up on the roof.
"You see?" Dumbledore said smiling. Peter gave the impression that he could read minds. "You've been doing things you ever meant to do for years, and Hogwarts is the perfect place for you to learn to control you powers, and you'll be able to make friends of your sort and you'll lean so much more about the wizarding world. Would you like to come to Hogwarts?"
Peter didn't need to think about answering, all he could do was say "Yes, I would like to come."
"Very well then." Dumbledore said as he reached into his cloak and pulled out a small sack and a letter. "Your letter has a list of everything you will need from Hogwarts, and here's some money for you to pay for them, but you will have to buy secondhand I'm afraid."

Sorry I haven't been around for a while...........Gah, it was a long time I'm glad my ficlet wasn't deleted.......that's not the point.
Any way..........aewsome post, as I earlier said, ha ha ha (OMG LOL(lol)).

Chapter Two: Going to Hogwarts

Lily pushed her trolley around the train station looking for platform 9 and 3/4. People were giving her odd looks not only because she had an owl strapped down on top of her trunk, but also because she kept asking directions to a platform that might not even exist. She even asked someone who worked there and he got very annoyed with her. As Lily walked away from him, she could've sworn that she heard him say, "Bloody kids asking me that every year." by 10:50 Lily was starting to get desperate until she saw two boys walk past her with owls strapped on top of their trunks like her's. She walked towards them and asked, "Would you happen to know where platform 9 and 3/4 is?"
"I'm guessing you're a muggle-born." said one of the boys, he had messy black hair and hazel eyes, he looked exactly like the man in her nightmare, only younger, but she didn't want to mention that because she knew it would sound stupid.
"A what-born?"
"A muggle is someone that doesn't have a drop of magic in their veins."explained the other boy, like his friend he also had messy black hair, only it was longer than his friend's and he had a handsom face.
"Then I guess I am." said Lily.
"Well, then you're in luck because we happen to know where to go, follow us." Lily followed the two boys until they stopped in front of barriers 9 and 10.
"All you've got to do is walk through those barriers and you're there," said the boy with the messy hair and hazel eyes, "If you're nervous, you can run."
Lily hoped that the boys weren't planning tricking her as she closed her eyes and ran to the barriers. She waited for the crash, but it never came. She stopped running and opened her eyes and saw that she somehow left the train station and ended up on platform 9 3/4. The boys came up behind her and one of them said, "I see you made it onto the platform, I'm James Potter by the way." he held out his hand for Lily to shake. She was about to until James jerked it away from her and ran it through his hair saying, "Too slow!" James and his friend laughed at this joke as Lily rolled her eyes. James' friend held out his hand and said, "I'm Sirius Black." Lily looked at it disbelievingly and Sirius said, "Don't worry, this one's for real, honestly." Lily put out her hand and shook Sirius' hand.
"See, I can be honest every once and a while."
" have to admit, that joke was a bit funny." Lily said smiling.
"My cousin plays that trick on me all the time," said Sirius as he, James, and Lily dragged their trunks and carried their owls onto the train, "I taught that joke to James last year."
"So," said James as he looked for a compartment, "you got a name, Carrot top?"
Lily blushed as James called her that name, Petunia calls her that name even when she knew that Lily hated the name, "My name's Lily Evans, and could you please not call me 'Carrot top'?"
"Don't worry, I won't call you that name, at least not all the time." James said opening a compartment door and asking a boy, "Is it all right if we sat in here with you?" The boy looked up from the book he was reading with a shocked look on his face and said, "Of course, come in." James, Sirius, and Lily walked into the compartment, putted their luggage on the racks and sat down. The boy who was reading was almost completly pale, had wrinkles under his eyes, and had brown hair. "My name is Remus Lupin," said the boy, "What are your names?"
"I'm Lily Evans, and they are Sirius Black and James Potter." said Lily pointing at James and Sirius.
"It's nice to meet you," said Remus putting away his book, "It's not every day that I meet and talk to someone."
"You don't talk to people often?" asked James.
"No, people don't really like me that much."
"Sorry to hear that." said Sirius and the compartment door opened and a girl with light brown hair and was wearing black came in and asked, "Is it all right if stayed in here with you lot?"
"Sure." said Remus, he seemed pretty happy that there were people in the same compartment as him.
"I'm Keely Walker," said the girl as she put her trunk in the rack and sitting down next to Remus, "And you guys are...?"
"I'm Lily Evans." said Lily giving Keely a smile that she didn't return.
"I'm Sirius Black." Sirius said staring at the girl, he thought that she looked beautiful.
"James Potter." said James glaring at Sirius because he knew that Sirius also liked the girl.
"And I'm Remus Lupin." said Remus, he smiled and thought sadly about how he could never ask Keely out because of his condition.
"I know you," said Keely, "We live in the same neighborhood, remember?" Remus suddenly remembered that he and Keely used to be friends when they were little until the werewolf attacked him. He hoped that Keely wouldn't mention it in front of his new friends because he doesn't want them to stop seeing him but through most of the trip she didn't say a word about it.

AWWWWWWWWW totally awesome, keep it coming! loved it to death. p.s. i would really appreciate if you'd keep on posting if no one's posting here cause sometimes im kinda bsuy, you know what i mean.. but if you havent got the time, it's okay.. atleast there's still one post ^^

Going to Hogwarts Part Two

The Compartment dooropened after an hour and a girl around thirteen stood at the door, she had long dark brown hair, she was wearing hand-me-down muggle clothes, and she had the same eyes as Remus.
"Hey Remus," said the girl, "Mum wanted me to check up on you." she looked around the compartment and saw James, Sirius, Lily, and Keely, "Remus, it looks like you made new friends." she added smiling.
"Hello, Sylvia." said Remus, "Lily, James, Sirius, this is my older sister Sylvia. Sylvia, these are my new friends James Potter, Sirius Black, and Lily Evans, and I think you remember our neighbor, Keely Walker."
"Keely, it's great to see you again," said Sylvia, "And it's great to meet all of you."
"It's great to meet you too." said Lily.
"I better get going, my friends are waiting for me on the other side of the compartment." Before she left she turned to Remus and said, "Remus, you got a bit of dirt on your nose by the way."
Remus blushed as he wiped a bit of dirt off his nose.
"Sorry about my sister," he said, making sure he got all of the dirt off, "She can be kinda embarrasing sometimes."
"She's better tham my younger brother Regulas," said Sirius, "he always embarrases me in public because I'm a blood traitor."
"What's a blood traitor?" asked Lily.
"Oh yeah, I forgot that you're muggle-born," said James, "Blood traitors are the kind of wizards that treat muggles and muggle-borns as equals. Like me, Sirius, Remus, and Keely."
"You mean, there are wizards that treat muggles and muggle-borns badly?"
"Yeah, in Hogwarts, we get sorted in houses, and there's one house you wouldn't want be in and that's Slytherin House, it's full of dark witches and wizards. My cousins, Bellatrix and Narcissa are in Slytherin, in fact, most people in my family are in Slytherin, except for my cousin Andromeda, she's in Gryffindor."
"Hope I don't get sorted in that house." said Lily.

Going to Hogwarts Part 3

During the rest of the journey James and Sirius talked about Quidditch while Lily, Remus, and Keely talked about school and what classes they'll take until the sky got blood red, they knew that the sun was going down.
"We better change into robes, we'll be arriving soon." said Lily taking her trunk down from the luggage rack along with the others. They all took out their robes and decided to let the girls change into their robes first while they wait in the corridor.
"So what do you make of James Potter?" asked Keely taking off her black shirt and folding it into her trunk and putting on her school shirt.
"I guess he's kinda funny. And I don't know why but I feel really weird when I'm around him.
"Like yhou love him?" asked Keely as she put on her skirt.
"No, like as if I've seen him before, and I don't know where. And that's impossible since I've only met him today."
"Or it's just that you love him."
Lily looked at Keely and said, "I think I liked you better when you weren't talking." Keely laughed and as she put on her robe and opening the compartment door to leave with Lily. James, Sirius, and Remus entered the compartment while the girls waited out in the corridor.
"SO James, what do you think of Lily?" asked Sirius.
"She's kinda cool I guess. Doesn't have much of a sense of humor but I guess she's cool."
"And you like her?" asked Sirius putting on his shirt.
"As a friend, I guess." James said shrugging and putting on his shoes.
"I meant more than a friend." said Sirius.
"You mean like love?" asked James putting on his robe.
"Is there another word for it?" asked Sirius.
"Actually there is." said Remus.
"It was a rhetorical question, Remus."
"I know, but I was just making sure you knew."
"Well, I don't love her, it' just that I get this weird feeling around her like I've seen her before." said James.
"Well, that's impossible since we only met her today." said Sirius.
"Maybe you saw her at Diagon Alley or something." said Remus sitting down.
"You know, I've been wondering," said Sirius, "How are muggle-borns able to go into Diagon Alley if they don't know anything about getting there."
James shrugged and said, "Maybe Tom, the landlord helps them out or something."
"But how do they know that they have to go to the Leaky Cauldron in order to get there?"
James rubbed his chin and said, "You know, I've never thought of that. Remus, what do you think?"
Remus shrugged and said, "You got me."
For the next ten minutes the boys talked about what Hogwarts might be like until the compartment door opened and they heard Lily's voice saying, "What's taking you guys so long?" The boys suddenly remembered that the girls were waiting in the corridor while the boys were changing ten minutes ago.

LOL TEN minutes ago.. even i dont take so long to change.. i guess i wouldve banged the door five minutes ago, i take only like 2 minutes to change! and yes, by nick i mean nickname :) i miss the com n SS so much.. havent been using it that much lately, my bro just made me really annoyed... he hogged the computer for like more then 2 days and i really needed to use it for some homework and stuff but he's like whatever and goes back to using the com.. he's such a idioitic git, seriously. i gotta out some other romance stories *keke* havent been here for quite a long while. ciao~!:pea:

The Sorting Hat Part 1

A few hours later, the train pulled into a stop and Lily, James, Remus, Sirius, and Keely walked out of their compartments and onto a platform where they heard someone calling "Firs' years this way! Come on now!"
They looked around to find the owner of the voice until they saw a giant carrying a lantern and leading the first years to the lake.
"Allrigh', get into these boats, they'll got you to Hogwarts allright." said the giant "No more than four in each."
Remus, James, Sirius, and Keely went into a boat together while Lily went into a another boat with a small plump boy with blonde hair
(ooc: sound familar? *wink wink*), a boy with shoulder length of greasy hair(ooc: also sound familiar?), and a girl with long blonde hair who didn't seem to care about what was going on and was focusing more on her nails.
"Right," yelled the giant, "Forward!" The boats seemed to move across the lake themselves without anyone using any oars. And in a few minutes, they were in front of a huge castle; Hogwarts. When everybody reached land, they got out of the boats and followed the giant to the oak front doors.
"That boat ride was actually quite amusing if you ask me," Lily heard Keely say when she caught up with her and the boys, "Hey Lily, did you make any new friends?"
"A fat boy seemed kinda friendly but i wasn't really sure about the other two, one was a girl who really didn't care about her surroundings and was focusing more on her nails and there was this boy with shoulder length black greasy hair and-"
"Did this boy have a hooked nose too?" asked James.
"Yes, how'd you know?"
"It looks like Flower, here met Severus Snape." said James.
"'Flower'?"
"Well, you got have a nickname, don't you?"
"Flower was a good name for you since James thinks you're pretty like a flower." said Sirius putting on a serious expression while Remus and Keely sniggered.
"No, I thought the name was good for her because the word 'lily' is a flower," said James, "and seeing as how her name's 'Lily' I thought it would be a good nickname."
"Sure, Jamie." Sirius said rolling his eyes, "Whatever you say."
"James was about to retort until the hiant came and knocked the front doors and it was answered by an old woman who had her gray hair in a bun.
"Thank you, Hagrid," said the woman, "I'll take them from here." She walked away from the doors so the students could come in after her. She walked into a large entrance hall and stopped in front of some other doors at the other end of the hall. She turned and faced the students.
"Welcome to Hogwarts." she said, "In a few moments you will walk through these doors and we will start the sorting ceremony. Here are the things you will need to know, the sorting will put you into the houses Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, and while you're here, your houses will be like your families. Your triumphs will earn you points, any rule breaking, and you will lose points, at the end of the year, the house with the most points will earn the Inter-House Champion Cup, Now wait here until we're ready for you."
When she left everybody started to talk and made predictions on how they're going to be sorted.
"How do we get sorted?" asked Lily.
"Sylvia told me that we gotta put something on and it tells us what house we're going in."
"What do you put on?" asked James.
"I can't remember, she told me about it when I was nine."
"We're ready for you now," said the woman, James and Remus jumped because they didn't see or hear her come back, "Follow me."
Everyone lined up in twos and walked into the Great Hall. The room was brightly lit with floating candles and there were four long tables and at each table sat students from different houses. All the first years gathered at the other end of the hall and James, Lily, Sirius, Remus, and Keely looked over their heads and saw a three legged stool with a patched and frayed hat sitting on it.
"Now I remember!" whispered Remus, "We gotta try on the hat!"

The Sorting Hat Part 4

McGonnagle held up a list and said, "When I call your name, you will come up, put on the hat, and wait for it to make its answer. Baker, Ashley!"
A pretty blonde girl walked up to the hat and put it on, careful not to have it mess her hair up. The hat made it's decision and said, "GRYFFINDOR!"
Everyone at the Gryffindor clapped for Ashley as she sat at the table, James, Remus, Sirius, Lily, and Keely saw some boys making catcalls at her as she walked over.
"Black, Sirius!"
"Wish me luck." Sirius muttered and walked over to the hat and put it on. The hat took a while to make its decision until it opened up it's sem of a mouth and said, "GRYFFINDOR!" Sirius sighed in relief and ran to the Gryffindor table, clearly very happy that he wasn't put into Slytherin.
"Cook, Hannah!"
Another pretty blonde girl came up to the hat and put it on, as soon she put it on, it immediatly said, "GRYFFINDOR!"
Hannah ran to the Gryffindor table and sat next to Ashley, really pleased for herself.
"Evans, Lily!"
Lily took a deep breathe and put on the hat. It whispered in her ear, "Talent, very smart, plenty of courage. Difficult, you will make great sacrifices and soon find the boy of your dreams, but I will not say who. But where to put you?" Lily didn't hear anything else because at that moment, she then heard the hat say, "GRYFFINDOR!"
Lily ran over to the Gryffindor table, very happy and sat next to Sirius.
"That was so scary!" she said breathlessly as "Huff, Meg" was being sorted.
"Yeah, being sorted can get you very nervous. I remember what my cousin, Adromeda said, very nervous, she was. But she almost cried with joy when the hat put her in Gryffindor." Sirius said as the hat put her in Gryffindor also.
"Kenyon, Marcus!"
A nervous boy with brown hair put on the hat and it right away said, "HUFFLEPUFF!" everybody in Hufflepuff clapped as Marcus walked over to their table.
"Lupin, Remus!"
Remus nervously came over to the hat and put it on, after a few minutes, the hat finally said, "GRYFFINDOR!"
Remus came over to the table and sat across Lily and Sirius as Mason, Kevin" was put into Ravenclaw, "I can't believe I'm a Gryffindor!" he said happily, "For a moment there, I thought it was going to put me in Slytherin!"
"Why would you think that?' asked Lily, but Remus didn't answer, he just clapped as Hillary Northern" was sorted into Gryffindor.
"Patil, Jack!"
"I hope the others are sorted into Gryffindor too," said Sirius, "It's bad enough that me and James can hardly ever see or speak to eachother, but it'd be even worse if he's sorted into a different house."
"I'm sure he'll be a Gryffindor." Lily said reassuringly.
"Pettigrew, Peter!" the boy had to stay in the boat with came up and put on the hat, it took longer for him to be sorted than anyone else until it said, "GRYFFINDOR!" Peter took off the hat and ran to the Gryffindor table and sat next to Remus.
"Hi," he sai, "My name's Peter."
"Hi, Peter." Lily said in a kind voice, "Nice to meet you. I'm Lily and they are Sirius and Remus."
"Hey." Sirius said distractedly, it was now James' turn to have a go with the hat and was now waiting for it's answer. It opened it's mouth and said-

"GRYFFINDOR!"
Everyone from Gryffindor applauded as James ran to the table and sat down next to Lily.
"It's great that you were put in Gryffindor, James." said Remus, "We want you to meet someone, this is Peter. He's in first year too."
"Hey, Peter, nice to meet you." James said smiling at Peter
"it's nice to meet you too." Peter answered back, as Rodgers, Kenny was sorted into Slytherin.
"Snape, Severus!"
The boy with the hooked nose and the greasy hair put on the hat and it instantly said, "SLYTHERIN!"
"I always knew that Snape would end up in Slytherin." James mutterd to Lily.
"Walker, Keely!"
Keely nervously tried on the hat, and waited for it's answer. After what seemed like a minute, that hat said, "GRYFFINDOR!" Keely ran to the Gryffindor table and sat next to James.
"I was so nervous up there, I thought I was going to be sick." she said excitedly as the sorting went on, she looked at Peter and said, "Hey Peter, how was your summer?"
"It was great, thanks. The orphanage went to the moutains in July, wasn't really that enjoyable since I saw giants up there."
"You two know eachother?" asked Sirius.
"Yeah, Peter's my cousin from my mom's side. We hardly see eachother because my parents are divorced and I live with my dad and Pete, here lives in the orphanage. But we still see eachother."
"Wish mine were." Remus said under his breath.
The sorting went on until the last girl was sorted(Wilson, Amber in Gryffindor) and Dumbledore stood up and said, "To those of you new combers; Welcome to Hogwarts, to those of our familiar faces, Welcome back! Now I just to say a few words before we start the feast, Nitwit, Oddment, Blubber and Tweak. That is all."

The Sorting Hat Part 6

Most people clapped while others-including James, Sirius, Remus, Peter, Keely, and Lily-laughed.
"Is he mad?" asked Lily.
"Kinda, but he's a genius." said Sylvia, "You want some potatoes?"
Lily looked around saw that food appeared after Dumbledore's speech. Everyone helped themselves to whatever they liked. Lily helped herself to potatoes, steak, and salad, she was about to eat her potato until she heard someone yell in fright. She looked up and saw a ghost next to Peter.
"Hello," the ghost said, "sorry for the fright."
"Hello, Nicholas, did you have a nice holiday?" asked Silvia.
"Yes and no, for once again my invite to the Headless Hunt has been, once again, denied."
"Sorry about that."
"Wait," said Sirius, "You're Nicholas, as in Nick, as in Nearly Headless Nick?"
"Yes, but I prefer Nicholas, Nick, or Sir Nicholas. If you don't mind." said the ghost.
"How can you be nearly headless?" asked Peter
"Like this." the ghost pulled his head to the side and it was almost completly off. Lily felt like she was going to be sick when she saw this. Nick put his head back into pocision and said, "I see some of you are first years, welcome to Gryffindor. I think you'll enjoy it here." He floated away towards some sixth years and started to have a conversation with them.
"I wonder what the other ghosts are like." said Keely
"I'm sure that you'll get to know most of them." said Sylvia, "Their's hundreds of them that pop in and out of rooms every now and then, except during lessons. They never want to interrupt."
When the feast ended, the gold plates were clean, and the food disappeared. Dumbledore stood up and said, "Id like to tell you the rules of this school. The Dark Forest is strictly forbidden to all students, no students may be out of bounds such as taking a stroll in the middle of the night. And the following items that are prohibted are listed by the caretaker's office. And the House Quidditch team tryouts will be dated on October 23. Now, off to bed. Chop Chop!"
Everybody left their House tables and started to leave the Great Hall.
"First years, follow me!" called out a fifth year girl. James, Sirius, Remus, Keely, Lily, and Peter followed the fifth year girl through corridors and climbed stairs-on their way, they saw pictures move-until they reached a painting of a fat woman.
"Password?" asked the fat woman.
"Pig Snout."the painting moved forward like a door to show a portrait hole to another room. They climbed through the portraight hole to find themselves in a huge room with chairs, a fireplace with a lit fire, and tables.
"This is the Gryffindor common room," said the fifth year girl, "upstairs to the left, boys, is your room and girls, your room is on the right. You'll find that all of your things have allready been brought up."
James, Sirius, Remus, and Peter climbed upstairs, turned left, and entered the boys' dormitory. Their things were indeed, brought up already. The boys put on their pajamas discussing what kind of classes they'll take the next day.
"I hope we don't get lost on our way to class." Peter said in a worried voice.
"Come on, Peter." Sirius said getting into bed and pulling on the covers.
In the Girl's Dorm, Lily and Keely put on their pajamas in private because the blonde girls, Ashley, Hannah, Amber, and Hilary kept talking so loud they couldn't even hear themselves breathe.
"Did you see that cute messy haired boy?" asked Hillary, "I felt like giving him a hug!"
"I know, and what about those other boys," asked Ashley, "you know the one with the brown hair and the other one with the handsome face and black hair too?"
"Yeah, they were cute too!" agreed Amber
"What about Peter?" Keely asked automaticly.
They looked at her like as if she was thick.
"He was kinda cute, but he just wasn't really that cool like those other three." said Hannah
"He's as cool as James, Sirius, and Remus!" said Lily.
"Oooh, you know them?" asked Ashley, "Could you introduce us?"
"Yeah, sure," said Keely, "When H*ll freezes over!"

New chapter! :D

Chapter Three: New Friends, New Enemies

James, Lily, Sirius, Remus, Keely, and Peter went to the Great Hall for a quick breakfast before Transfiguration. Keely and Lily told the boys about the girls who were swooning over them in the Girl's dormitory, but the news didn't upset Sirius or James.
"Those cute blonde girls think we're cute?" Sirius asked happily. Lily nodded and Sirius was even more happy.
"I wouldn't be surprised," said James, "A lot of girls think we're very handsome. Once a girl even gave me her adressee and kissed me."
"That's because I gave her five galleons to do that to mess with your mind, remember?"
"Oh yeah."
"Hey, Lily." Sirius faced her, looking serious(haha, get it?), you better watch out or James might cheat on you!"
"What are you talking about?" Lily asked sharply.
"Well, you guys fancy eachother, so you better watch your back."
"We don't fancy eachother!" Lily and James said in usion.
"Aww, look at them," said Keely, "Quaraling like an old married couple. I hope this doesn't affect their chances of actually getting married."
"We're not getting married!" James said firmly, "I don't even think Lily is even pretty." Lily glared at James and asked, "So you're saying I'm ugly?" James went pale and said, "No! No, that's not what I meant, it's just that I really don't think you're pretty in my point of veiw." but this didn't help. Lily abandoned her breakfast, swung her bag over her shoulder, and stomped out of the Great Hall.
"Oh, that was pleasant." Keely snapped as shewent after Lily.
James looked around at Remus, Sirius, and Peter and said, "What'd I say?"

New Friends, New Enemies Part 2

James, Peter, Sirius, and Remus hurried to Transfiguration just when McGonnagle was letting the students into the classroom. James, Remus, Peter, and Sirius sat at the table nearest Lily and Keely.
"Lily, I'm sorry if what I said offended you." James whispered to Lily while everyone else was taking their seats.
"What do you mean, 'If'?" Lily hissed back taking her books out.
"That it offended her, that if it offended her." Remus quickly whispered to James.
"Sorry, I meant that it offended you. You just over-reacted."
"What?" Keely and Lily whispered in unision.
"Wait, that came out wrong."
"Just leave me alone, Potter!" hissed Lily.
McGonnagle cleared her throat and the talking imediatly stopped. She went over the rules for Transfiguration and handed out beetles to the students and instructed them to Transfigure them into buttons. James immediatly perfected his beetle into a button and earned Gryffindor ten points, while everyone had difficulty. It took some students ten to twenty minutes to perfect their beetles. By th end of the lesson, Lily still had trouble with her beetle so she and Peter were the only ones given homework to practice the spell.
"I just hope we don't get any homework in Charms." said Peter.
"I'm sure it'll be easier in Charms than Transfiguration." said Lily, "I practiced in Diagon Alley before coming here."
"Lily, if you want, I could help you with your Transfiguration homewok." saids James.
"Thanks, but no thanks Potter."

New Friends, New Enemies Part 3

To Lily's relief she and Remus were the only ones in Charms to not get any homework while everyone else-and to Lily's enjoyment, Sirius and James-had loads of homework. That night in the Gryffindor common room, Lily, Keely, Sirius, Peter, Remus, and James were working on there homework.
"How do you hold the wand when you're using the Levitating spell?" asked Sirius.
"I forgot," said James, "Hey, Lily Flower, can you help us out here?"
"Weren't you guys paying attention?" Lily hissed as she worked on her Transfiguration homework.
"We were sort've tuning in and out." said Sirius.
"Honestly, would it kill you to take notes?" asked Keely.
"Put it this way;" said James and he and Sirius started to gasp, gag, and fell off their chairs and onto the floor pretending to die. Peter and Keely laughed, Remus rolled his eyes, and Lily snapped her book shut and stomped up to the Girls Dormitory. Sirius and James immediatly stopped and James asked, "What's her problem?"

Lily was running in a feild with a stag. She was very happy to be with it, but she didn't know why. When she stopped to catch her breathe, the stag transformed into a man with untidy hair and glasses. She hugged the man and said, "I love you James Potter."
Lily opened her eyes and looked around; she was in her bed in the Girls Dormitory. She saw that the other girls were sleeping so she looked at the clock and saw that it was 6 o'clock. Lily couldn't get back to sleep so she got out of bed and got dressed. She grabbed her bag and went into the Gryffindor common room and to her surprise, she saw Jame Potter sleeping at the table they were working at the other night, and he was using his homework and books as a pillow. Lily smiled, she knew that he must've been working hard on his homework. She walked over to him and for some reason, watched him sleep. She thought he looked peaceful and cute when he was sleeping. She raised her hand and put his hair out of his face. His eyelides slowly opened and she quickly put her hand down. He sat up and yawned, "What time is it?"
"It's 6:02 am." Lily answered looking at her watch and James sat up, wide awake.
"AM?" he repeated horrified, "Oh God! I gotta get ready! Wait, what were you doing here, watching me sleep?" he added looking suspiciously at her.
"I was putting a hex on you that makes you grow boils." Lily said smiling
"You WHAT?" James shouted and ran to the nearest mirror, but when he saw that his face was normal, he looked at Lily and said, "This means war, Flower."
"Yeah, it's on." she said giggling thinking how funny it was that James actually felt for her lie.

In Slughorn's potions class, they were taking notes on how to detect poisons stop them from killing anyone. Lily was hanging on Slughorn's every word and had three rolls of parchment already written out. She had more notes than every one else in the classroom put together, although both she and Sirius were both Slughorn's best students. For homework they were to write an essay of detecting poison, two rolls of of parchment due next Tuesday. When Lily and Keely were walking out of the dungeons, they heard James and Sirius sniggering uncontrollably behind them.
"What's so funny?" asked Keely.
"You'll find out tomorrow." said Sirius.
"Find what out tomorrow?" asked Lily
"You'll see."
"Just tell us!"
"We don't really feel like it." said James
"Fine," said Keely, "Then we won't tell you what we're planning." said Keely. Lily shot her a questoning look and Keely gave her a look to play along.
"Yeah, that's right." said Lily
James scoffed, "You're not planning anything." said James, but his voice didn't sound convincing.
"Yes, we are. And if you're not telling us what you're planning, then we won't tell you." That night in the common room, Lily, James, Sirius, and Remus were working hard on their homework until one o'clock in the morning. Lily said she was going to bed until Sirius said, "Wait, Lily. You look exhausted, here," he picked up a cup of clear potion, "This can help you sleep better so you won't be so tired tomorrow." Lily looked at it suspiciously and Sirius chuckled, "Don't fret, it's just a harmless potion, what could happen?" Lily was convinced so she took the potion, thanks Sirius, and went to bed.

"POTTER!" Lily yelled at the top of her voice inthe common room th next day, causing many people to look at her and laugh. Her red hair was completly black as night and had purple streaks. James and Sirius ran down from the Boys Dormitory laughing.
"Nice look for you, Lily." Sirius said as he wiped the tears from his face from laughing so much.
"How could you do this, Potter?" Lily yelled, she was very proud of her hair.
"Oh, I didn't," James said sniggering, "It was Sirius' idea and he was the one that gave you the potion last night." Lily then remembered the potion Sirius gave her last night, "That potion was actually charmed to make it look like anothr potion to anyone except the person who charmed it."
"Good thing I'm good at potions, huh Lil?" Sirius asked laughing his bark like laugh again
"You have a dark gift, Sirius Black." said James and he and Sirius did high fives
"You...you toads!" Lily said taking out her wand and saying a spell so a pair of toads sat exactly where James and Sirius were.
"Good thing Remus taught me that spell, huh Potter?" Lily said as she and Keely walked out of the common room laughing, she guessed that she'd have to find a way to make her hair change back when she finds Remus.

This is all SO funny!!! Are James, Sirus, Peter and perhaps Lily going to find out about Remus being a werewolf?

yeah, they will but it's not going to happen 'till a couple posts later

New Friends, New Enemies Part 5

Lily and Keely entered the Great Hall and some people stared at how Lily's hair looked. When they found Remus, they sat across him and he asked, "What did you do to your hair, Lily?"
"I didn't do it, Black and Potter tricked me into taking potion that would change the color of my hair, and I was wondering if you know how to fix it."
"Sorry Lil, but I'm not that good in potions. I don't have the same gift as you and Sirius."
"But I can't go around looking like this forever!" said Lily.
"Then why don't you ask a teacher for help?" suggested Keely.
"I doubt they would know how to fix this seeing as there are many things a students knows that a teacher doesn't."
"Just ask Sirius and James to change it back." said Remus.
"I can't!" said Lily, "Not after I-" but before she could finish she saw James and Sirius-still in their toad forms-hop into the Great Hall, glaring at Lily.
"You changed James and Sirius into toads, didn't you?" asked Remus, he had trouble looking and sounding stern since he was laughing.
"I think you can answer that." Keely said laughing.
Sirius croaked and hopped onto the table followed by James.
"I never should've taught you that spell." Remus laughed as he took his wand.
"It's making people laugh, isn't it?" asked Lily and she was right, people near her were laughing hard, even the Slytherins. Remus waved his wand and the toads changed back into James and Sirius. They got off the table and sat down next to Keely.
"Now, can you please change Lily's hair back?" asked Remus.
"No way!" said Sirius, "Not after she changed us into toads, you can just forget it!" Keely waved her wand at Sirius and James's pumpkin juices when they weren't looking.
"What didi you do?" Lily whispered to Keely.
"You'll see." she answered quietly.

"Ms. Evans," braked Professor McGonnagle, "What have you done to your hair?"
"Someone gave me a potion that changed my hair." Lily said quietly as she tried to changed her needle into a toothpick, instead she was accidently making it bigger.
"Well, I insist that you ask Professor Slughorn to help change it back, it isn't exactly school appropriate." Lily glared at James and Sirius who were snickering quietly behing McGonnagle's back.
"Mr. Black and Mr. Potter, what in heaven's name did you do to your tongues?" James and Sirius stopped laughing at once.
"Wh-what do you mean, Professer?" asked James. McGonnagle picked up a mirror from her desk and gave it to him. He and Sirius opened their mouths and they saw that their tongues somehow turned yellow with green polka dots. Keely was silently giggling behind McGonnagle'
s back and Lily knew what she did to their pumpkin juice that morning. She joined in the silent laughter by the end of the class. James and Sirius caught up with them and James asked angrily, "What the hell did you do to our tongues?"
"One, watch your language," said Keely, "And two, both of you deserved it, especially after turning Lily's hair black! Now change it back!"
"Not gonna happen." said Sirius
"Unless," said James, "You give us a kiss."

omg bree(i hope i got ur name right!) but those posts were awesome!!! i miss them >_< havent got much time, next week is exams and i havent came on ss for like AGESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS james is as mischevious as ever... :xd: but i think he should've said well, you change my tougne back to it's original color AND get missstubborn flower to kiss me, that potion will go as if it was water.... but keely kiss james? 50% unlikely. lily kiss james? 100% no way, and thats what makes it fun. lily will go stufy study study study about potions till her eyes drop and finally find a way to turn it back... or maybe keely will just kiss james and u know that rest...pranksters on the loose, warning pranksters on the loose!!!

yeah, I thought I could have James and Sirius have a crush on Keely before James likes Lily and Sirius likes...I'm not saying who. And Keely really belongs to...once again, I'm not gonna say, you're gonna have to find out yourselves

Chapter Four: Past, Present, and Future

"Are you mental?" asked Keely, "I would never, I repeat, NEVER kiss you."
"Alright," Sirius said as he shrugged and he and James began to walk away, "Enjoy the new look 'til seventh year, Lil."
"Wait," said Lily, "She'll kiss you, please?" she added to Keely, "You heard McGonnagle, it's not school appropriate and I don't want to be a mess up on my second day here." she put on a sad face that Keely couldn't resist and she said, "Yeah, I'll kiss you both."
"And it's gotta be on the lips." said James as he and Sirius quickly turned and walked straight back to Keely. Keely groaned and he said, "Just think happy thoughts!"
"I'm gonna punch you!" she said under her breath and she leaned in close and kissed James's lips. Whe she backed up, she wiped her mouth and kissed Sirius's lips too. They both did high fives when she finished and she started to wipe here mouth.
"Okay," said Sirius, "Take this, and you're hair will be back to normal in no time." he took out a small vial with sky blue potion and gave it to Lily, "Now, can you change our tongues back?"
"Fine." Keely waved her wand and James and Sirius's tongues were back to normal.
"So we're even?" asked James
"Not even close." said Lily, "We're now officially enemies." they began to walk down the corridor to Slughorn's and Keely said, "But I still want us to hang out."
"Deal." agreed Sirius. Lily drank the potion and her hair turned red again.

Lily slept uneasily in her bed that night, she was playing with a baby again with a small black patch of hair on it's head and a man with hazel eyes, glasses, and untamed black hair ran into the room and said, "Lily, it's Him! Take Harry and run!" Lily grabbed the baby called Harry, "I'll hold him off!" Lily started to run, still holding a now crying baby until she heard the terrifieing man say, "Avada Kedavra" and heard something hit the ground. She turned and saw that the man who was panicking was lying on the floor, dead.
"JAMES!"
Lily opened her eyes, her face was sweating and she had tears in her eyes, she sat up abruptly, looked around, and saw everyone staring at her.
"Lily, are you okay?" asked Keely.
"I'm not sure, I had a night mare, and it was horrible." Lily answered as she wiped the sweat and tears from her face.
"Keep it down next time you have a dream!" Hillary said as if she didn't care, "We need to get some sleep!"
"What's wrong, Hillary. Run out of make up?" Keely asked.
"Even beautiful grils need their beauty sleep!" snapped Amber.
"Beauty sleep?" repeated Keely, "You'd have to sleep for, like, a month, or maybe even a year or two!"
"Whatever." Hillary said and Keely rolled her eyes, got out of her own bed and sat at the end of Lily's bed.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Keely asked again, "Maybe you should go to the Hospital Wing."
"I'm fine," Lily said firmly, "Like I said, it was just a nightmare."
"I hope you're right." Keely said getting back into her bed, "'Night."
"'Night." Lily closed her eyes again until she heard a flutter of wing and a ruffle of feathers. She looked around and saw an eagle owl next to her window. She opened it and saw that the owl had a note on its leg. Lily took the letter off the owl's leg and it flew off. She looked at the letter to see who it was adressed to and saw that it was for her from James.

Past, Present, and Future Part 2

Lily opened the note and read,

Lily,
I had to tell somebody about this. I can't tell Sirius or Keely because they'll just take the mickey out of it, and I'm not sure what Remus or Peter would say but I know that you wouldn't laugh at anything like this, and it's about you anyway. I just had a nightmare where you were playing with a baby and I was panicking about a man white as a skull with spidery hands and really skinny and he killed me. He was also going to kill the baby you were playing with but you were pleading to have him kill you instead. It was really scary because then he laughed and put the killing curse on you. I even had this nightmare over the summer and I don't know what it means. I just wanted to ask you because you're really smart and you probably read a book on it somewhere. Either write back or tell me in private.

Lily's eyes widen in shock when she read this letter. James has been getting those nightmares too. She took out some parchment, picked up a quil, and wrote,

James,
You're not going to believe this, but I've been having those nightmares too. I honestly don't know what they mean, maybe we should ask McGonnagle tomorrow since she is Deputy Headmistress. Maybe she'd know.

Lily tied the message to the owl and it took off into the night. She climbed back into bed and tried to fall asleep.

Lily felt tired that morning from the lack of sleep the other night, and so did James. They both couldn't get back to sleep because of their nightmare and the fact they wrote to eachother. They stayed behind after Transfiguration to talk to McGonnagle.
"Professor, we wanted to ask you something." said James. McGonnagle looked at him and said, "Very well, Mr. Potter, Ms. Evans. What is it?"
"Well, it's just that we had a nightmare last night and during the summer and we dont understand why." James explained poorly.
"What he means is,"Lily quickly said when McGonnagle opened her mouth, "Is that during summer and last night we both had the same nightmare. We were older-like in our twenties-and I was playing with a baby boy, and James ran in yelling, 'Lily, it's Him! Take Harry and run!' or something like that and this man whose was pure white, had spidery hands, and was really thin came in and he and James fought until he murdered James. The man then advance on me and wanted to kill the baby. I was pleading and said, 'No, please don't take Harry. Please, take me instead.' and the man laughed and killed me. We don't understand what it means, Professor. I mean, is it like our future or something?"
McGonnagle looked at her and said, "I don't know, Ms. Evans. I should take you to Professor Dumbledore and you can take it up with him for he will know. Come along."

Bwahaha! Keeley kissed them!

Past, Present, and Future Part 3

McGonnagle led James and Lily down the corridor until they stopped in front of a statue of a griffin.
"Chocolate Frogs." she said and the griffin jumped aside to reveal a door for the office.
"You will speak with Professor Dumbledore in a moment, he's gone to the staff room but will be back before long. I'd wait with you but I have another class to teach." she left them and they walked into the office. There were tons of silver instruments and several portraits of past Headmasters and Headmistresses. There room would've been completly empty if there wasn't a handsome phoenix sitting on Dumbledore's desk. James and Lily looked at the facinating objects until James found a wooden bowl filled with crystal clear water.
"Hey Evans. Check this thing out." Lily walked over to the desk and looked at the bowl, "What do you think it is?"
Lily didn't answer, she just took out her wand and swirld it around in the water. The water continued to swirl until it showed a moving blurred image.
"Bend down over it." Lily instructed. James gave her a puzzled look and bended down until his nose was almost touching the water. Then he felt his feet leave the ground and he fell through the wooden bowl. He left Dumbledore's office completly and landed somewhere else in the castle. Lily finally came and stood next to him.
"What was that thing?" asked James.
"That was the water of time, I read about it in Moste Potions." aswered Lily. She looked around and asked, "Potter, do you by any chance know a red head boy?"
"No, why?"
"Because I can see you standing over there with a boy with red hair and freckles." James looked around and saw the boy too, but he couldn't understand why he was standing with the boy until he saw that his double had green eyes instead of hazel and the boy had a scar on his forehead too.
"That can't be me, he has green eyes, I have hazel. Plus, he has a scar on his forehead"
"There's something familiar about his eyes." said Lily. James looked closely at the boy's eyes and saw that they looked exactly like Lily's.
"Evans, those are your eyes!"
"That's impossible, unless..." she trailed off, James looked at her and saw that she was looking at him horrified.
"What?"
"Potter, I think that's supposed to be our son!"
"No way, he can't be."
"Let's get closer to make sure." Lily started to walk over to the boys until James grabbed her arm to hold her back.
"I doubt they'll be okay with us going right up to them asking, 'Hello, are you going to be our future son?'"
"Potter, in the water of time, no one from the water will see or hear you." Lily jerked her arm away from James and walked towards the two boys.
"I don't know why you give her a hard time, Ron." said the boy with the scar
"Don't tell me that you can't stand her either, Harry." said the boy named Ron, "Hermione is such a know-it-all. And she's always gotta show it off."
The boy named Harry shrugged and said, "I just kinda think we should be a bit nicer to her. I mean, after all she is trying to help."
"Yeah, in the most annoying way possible. Anyway, we better get going to Transfiguration otherwise McGonnagle will take points off Gryffindor." The boys ran past Lily and James, clearly not noticing that they were listening to everything they were saying."
"They kinda remind me of you and Black." said Lily.
"And that Hermione girl kinda sounds a lot like you." said James.
"I believe you were waiting for me?"
James and Lily whirled around and saw Professer Dumbledore standing behind them, his eyes twinkling

oh me goshie- dumbledore- the professonial mr. scary man much! totally awesome, if i were with james or lily, i wouldve screamed in fright. water? i thought it was called a pensieve... hmm i dont care much bout that, get back into story!!! james n lily fall in lovie had a babie called him harry and he had ickle ronnie standin' beside him all the while wee gonna have some fun maybe you can catch some

the water of time is actually a little invention of mine for the story, the pensieve only shows you memories(I think that's what it does, I'll have to read GOF to make sure)

cool invention then.. water... makes me thirsty :x water=good but only EXTREMELY COLD WATER :drool:

Past, Present, and Future Part 4

Dumbledore held onto both Lily and James's arms and they somehow appeared into his office again.
"Please, sit down." Dumbledore said as he gestured the two seats in front of his desk. James and Lily did what they were told and sat down.
"I see you have met young Harry Potter and his friend, Ronald Weasley."
"Professor, we're sorry that we entered into the water without permission." said James. Dumbledore waved the appology aside and said, "No harm done. Curiosity isn't a sin, but you must be careful of it. For as you know, curiosity killed the cat."
"Sir, while we were in the water, James and I were wondering," said Lily, "That boy who looked like James, is he his son?"
"Yes, he is." Dumbledore said nodding, "And he is also your's too."
"Beg parden?"
"Harry Potter is both your's and James's son. You might be able to see the resemblance seeing as how young Harry has your eyes."
Lily and James looked at eachother for a moment and James said, "Sir, Lily and I had a nightmare during summer, it was like a vision."
"Go on."
"The nightmare was that Lily was older and she was playing with a baby boy named Harry but then I came into the room and sarted to say, 'Lily, it's Him. Take Harry and run!' and other stuff like that. And another man came into the room, but he didn't exactly look human. He was white as a skull, had spidery hands, and he was thin as a skeleton. I told Lily I'd hold him off and we dueled."
"James was killed," said Lily, "And the other man wanted to kill the baby and I was pleading him to kill me instead, and he did. We had this nightmare again last night, what does it mean?" Dumbledore stayed silent for a moment and said, "I'm afraid, that you, indeed, had a vision. That event will soon happen when you are in your twenties." Lily gasped and James looked horror-strucked.
"But, who takes care of Harry?" asked James
"You're second born's whereabouts, I don't know, but your first and third born children will stay with your sister, Mia."
"Why haven't we seen the first or third born in these visions, sir?" asked Lily
"They have been staying over at Mia's home during the event. That is all I know. Don't ask me anything else." James looked at the water of time and asked, "Where can we find the water of time?"
"You won't need to find it anywhere, for you see, I left it out for you two to keep." Lily and James looked at eachother again, "To keep, sir?"
"It will only be temporarily. I think it's wise for you to learn more about the future, but afterwards, if you can't bare to keep all these thoughts in your ead, I will have to erase them. But if you can, I will let you keep your memories. How long would you like to keep this?" James and Lily caught eachother's eye, as if they could read eachother's minds, Lily said, "Until graduation." Dumbledore nodded and allowed them to leave with the water of time. James took it into the Boys Dormitory and they hurried into the Great Hall for lunch
