Hey everyone my name is Lauren but my friends call me Lily or Ren, and my family calls me countless other nicknames =) I hope you guys like it, I had another account SarahLestrange but it got hacked so this is now my account =)

Disclaimer: I own nothing, my friend JesseLongbottom asked me to finish and post this for him before he passed away, so here it is. All characters in the Prologue and most of the story belong to the amazing J.K. Rowling, any others to Stephanie Meyer.

It's the year of the war between good and evil for all of the inhuman - witches, wizards, giants, vampires, werewolves, and shape shifters alike - but in order for good to win they need a little extra help.

Prologue: Missions and such... (Hermione's POV)

I looked around the large office that surprisingly still seemed large with so many people in it. There was Harry, Ron, and myself, as well as Ginny, the Weasley Twins, the Patil Twins, Lavender Brown (I think I might have scowled at her because she looked away looking kind of scared - huh – I guess I still hate her). There was also Dean Thomas, Angelina Johnson, Katie Bell, and Alicia Spinnet and just joining us now were Neville, Luna, Cho Chang, Tonks, and Charlie Weasley. “Pardon my French, but what the bloody hell is going on?” And just like that every pair of eyes was on me looking shocked. What did I do? Wait – oh, oops.
“Did I just say that out loud?” I asked hesitantly only to be answered with chuckling coming from none other than the Headmaster himself – Albus Dumbledore. “Oh, umm...hello Professor, I’m terribly sorry for the language.”
“It’s quiet alright Miss. Granger, I understand your confusion, but do try to keep track of when your mind and your tongue coincide, yes?” I just nodded my head and looked at my hands. “Now, I’m sure as Miss. Granger voiced, your all confused as to what is the purpose of me calling you here. Well, it’s simple really. Not the task itself, oh no, but rather the reasoning behind it is simple. You see, I think we all understand that there is indeed a war coming. The Final Battle as some might call, but I believe even that title is false for many battles will come and go, but will never truly end; but no matter, no matter. You see, our side - the Light Side - needs a little extra help and I am asking you all if you are willing to go out there and find more recruits, because I know just the places to look.” He said and then his eyes started sweeping over the room searching to try and find a negative response in the room, yet failed to succeed in that particular quest of his, which of course made him happy.
“Perfect. Now, Mr. Potter you and I will talk later about what you are to do, but please keep in mind that you will not have Miss. Granger and Mr. Weasley with you once you all go your separate ways. I’m afraid I’m going to have to separate your little trio for the time being. I’m sorry, but for the tasks I have for you all, you cannot be together.”
“Now, Ron, Fred, Parvati, Angelina, Alicia, Katie, and Dean; I need the seven of you to work together on something rather special for your task. I will be giving your leaders parchments with instructions on them. Please, do not lose them, tell anyone or show anyone anything that is on them. Not even if they are in this room. I am appointing Fred your group leader and Angelina you are his Second in Command; I expect you to support him and offer advice and guidance as I know you will both be great leaders.” He said and they both nodded at him and then looked at each other with anxiety on their faces.
“Charlie, I’m appointing you head of a group as well. It will consist of Miss. Padma Patil, Miss. Weasley, Mr. Longbottom, and of course, Miss. Lovegood.” He said smiling as they all gathered together. “Charlie, I expect you to take care of them and yourself, but for all of your safety no one can know where you have gone. Do not owl anyone for it will be to easily intercepted, you will not use any magic to get there nor any magic while you are there for it will to easily be discovered, only in times of trouble and when facing certain death may you violate these terms, because I’m afraid these are not requests – these are rules and you must follow them if you wish to live.” He said to them all as he handed Charlie a piece of parchment. “Do not let anyone see this, burn it after you’ve read it, you cannot take any unnecessary risks.”
“My darling Tonks, I fear I must ask you a favour as well. I need you to be the leader of our last group; you are to watch over Miss. Granger, Mr. George Weasley, Miss. Chang, and Miss. Brown. They are young and knowledgeable, but they need guidance. I will say the same to you as I have Charlie, no magic, and no owls, burn this parchment after reading it, and make sure your eyes are the only ones to look upon it. Yes?” She nodded once with a determined look on her face. “Good.”
“Now, if any of you fail to listen to and follow the leaders in your group I will be forced to remove you from the mission; and gentlemen, if you purposely fail your mission I will obliviate your memory so much that you will be believing that you are a 7 year old girl that likes her hair being braided and her nails bright pink for the rest of your lives; and ladies, I will make you believe that you a trailer owning, beer belly, nose picking hill billiy 39 year old man for the rest of your lives understood?”
“You have all bravely accepted your missions and now it is time for you to leave. Your necessities have been packed and are on that table with your name on the package, remember to travel like Muggles and stay under the radar. Go now, I hope you all return safely.” He said to us all and we all nodded our heads with a terrified look on our faces, even Fred and George looked worried. Then that was it, Ron, Ginny, Harry, and I all hugged one last time before we went our own ways, knowing that this could be the last time any of us ever saw each other again.

I love the story so far, Ren! And I can't wait to read more of your and Jesse's work.
