Here's Abi's post!

Alicia stalked towards Jamie and threw herself into the seat next to him, sweeping her black hair out of her eyes.

“What is with you two now?” Jamie sighed, people turned from watching Emily leave to the two on the couch.

“I was only helping!” Alicia said loudly and Jamie sighed again, looking up at the ceiling.

“Maybe she didn’t need help, Ali,” he said and she turned on him. The people round the walls stared at the two and moved out of their way quickly as Jamie stormed out of the common room.

He walked into the Great Hall and scanned the table quickly for Emily. Draco caught his eye and he nodded slightly before sitting next to the red head.

“Care if I sit here?” he asked quietly.

“As long as your girlfriend comes nowhere near us,” Emily said loudly so people could hear.

“She isn’t my girlfriend anymore,” Jamie said.

Emily turned to look at him. “How come?”

“Well, after you two fought, we got into a fight, and she broke up with me,” Jamie said in a normal voice as eavesdroppers walked by.

“I’m sorry, Jamie,” Emily said quietly. A tear leaked out of Emily’s eye and Jamie caught it with his fingertip.

“Me too,” he said. Emily turned into his side and gave him an awkward hug due to how they were sitting at the table.

“Get your hands off of my girlfriend!” Draco shouted suddenly from the side of the table.

Emily and Jamie broke apart as Draco glowered at them. “It was just a hug, Draco,” Emily said defensively.

“It’s not what it looked like,” he growled.

“Maybe you should get your eyes checked,” Jamie said sarcastically.

Draco started pulling out his wand but Emily caught his hand, stopping him. She stood up from the table with a cold expression on her face.

“What the bloody hell is your problem?” Emily asked angrily.

“Him at the moment,” Draco replied with disdain.

“I’m getting sick of you being so bloody protective! I’m allowed friends, Malfoy! Stop being so clingy!” Emily shouted at him. Professor McGonagall was coming toward them from the teachers’ table.

“If that’s how you want it!” he yelled back.

“Yeah, that’s how I want it! We’re over, you prat!” she yelled.

“Fine then!” Draco shouted.

“Good!”

Draco turned on his heel and made his way back to his table. Everyone’s eyes glanced between him and Emily as Emily sat back beside Jamie.

“What is going on, Miss Black?” McGonagall asked.

“Nothing anymore,” she replied bitterly.

“Next time, I suggest you take your personal business elsewhere instead of showcasing it in the Great Hall for everyone to see,” McGonagall said curtly before she strode back to her seat.

“Looks like we’re both single again…” Jamie said and people turned round to look at him. “Wanna go for a walk in the sunshine?”

“Sure,” Emily grinned widely and followed him out of the room just as Alicia walked through the doors. The room fell silent as the three Gryffindors stopped and glared at each other. Without muttering a word, Alicia continued into the hall, purposely waving and grinning widely at Draco.

“Hi!” she called and he returned the wave enthusiastically. Emily glared at her back.

“Just leave it,” Jamie said, taking her hand and pulling her from the room. As soon as they were outside, Emily started laughing.

“I knew this was a bad idea…” Jamie said quietly as they walked towards the lake, her hand still in his because people were following them.

“No it’s not… it’s fun!” she said, glancing behind her at the small group of people. She winked at Jamie before kissing his cheek. “You know, I don’t understand why you and Draco can’t just play along,” she said as they sat by the bank. Whispers carried over to them on the wind and Emily decided to flirt heavily.

Inside, Draco had crossed the Hall to sit with Alicia at the end of the Gryffindor table.

“Good morning!” she said happily, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek. Draco swept her hair over her shoulder.

“Someone’s in a good mood,” he said and she laughed.

“That’s because I’m talking to you- I broke up with Jamie this morning,” she said, her hair turning scarlet.

“Really? Well, today must be a bad day for love because Emily finished it today too.” He winked at her as Blaise studied their every move. Alicia picked up a slice of toast, buttered it, and passed it to Draco. “Thanks.”

“So… What do we do now?” she said and he shrugged. “Can I tell you something?” she said quietly and the people round them heard the change in her voice.

“If I can tell you something,” he said, and she smiled slightly.

“You first then,” she said and Draco leaned forwards.

“I feel sorry about what I did to you but I don’t regret the fact that I tricked you into meeting me that night,” he said and people at the Hufflepuff table actually turned round in their seats to see Alicia’s reaction.

“Well… I was going to say that I’d been thinking about that night actually.” She laughed and the sound was nervous. Draco took her hand in his and they just stared at each other. From the corner of his eye, Draco saw Blaise stand up.

“Come on… Let’s get away from the prying eyes,” he said, pulling her up and leading her outside. Alicia watched as Blaise hurried from the Hall. “Where’s he going?” Draco whispered as they left the cool shadows of the school.

“To send a letter,” Alicia grinned and wrapped an arm round his waist. “Why do you keep thinking this is a bad idea? You and Jamie just don’t get that we need to do this- it’s fun,” she said, and Draco rolled his eyes.

“Er- up ahead,” he said, nodding at something in the distance. Emily and Jamie were lounging at the edge of the lake, laughing and joking while a couple of people watched from under a tree.

hehe I'm loving this great chapter

Well girls, I don't know what to say except that it makes for good reading. You both write like you're the same person. Inother words, you harmonize perfectly. As for the logic of it, I agree with the boys. But, clearly, the girls are having fun with it. It's good the boys are being such good sports. I'll be watching for the next post.

Aww...its just a game... bt seriously, can't you se the chemistry, I think it would be a good wee change. If we don't like it we can always go back to the way it used to be...but you guys are the writers so I'll shut up before get ahead of myself.

“What do you want to do today? It’s Saturday,” Jamie said casually.

Emily thought for a moment before shrugging her shoulders. Emily turned around, glancing to see who was still near. Her eyes froze on the couple walking toward them. A few stragglers glanced between the two couples. “I have a feeling we aren’t going to be sticking around here,” Emily said disgustedly, her eyes still on Alicia and Draco. She narrowed her eyes at Alicia’s arm that was wrapped around Draco’s waist.

Jamie snapped around, following her gaze. “Ugh,” he said loud enough for the others to hear. “Looks like you’re right; I don’t want to stick around with traitors so close,” he said as he grabbed Emily’s hand and started to stand.

Emily looked at him with a surprised expression. Was he actually playing along? He looked at her for a minute and winked. Emily grinned broadly as he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. She hugged his waist tightly, being a bit too dramatic, and led the way.

They passed Draco and Alicia, who were both glaring at them. Emily and Jamie glared in return. As soon as they passed each other, Jamie kissed the top of Emily’s head and she grinned.

“Where’s the best place to showcase this?” Emily whispered for only him to hear.

“Hmmm, how about the courtyard?” he asked quietly.

Emily nodded and started for the courtyard. She gasped loudly as she spotted Alicia and Draco.

“What did they do? Do a double take?” Emily said angrily for the benefit of the nosy onlookers.

“Want to go somewhere else?” Jamie whispered in her ear, pretending to kiss her hair.

“Er, no, I think this could be played nicely… Let’s sit where we’re facing them, Jamie,” Emily whispered as an evil grin crept onto her face. Jamie nodded, the smallest frown upon his face.


“What is she playing at now?” Draco whispered to Alicia.

“I think I know… Keep throwing looks in their direction,” she muttered under her breath.

“Blaise is watching,” Draco whispered. Alicia subtly looked around the courtyard and spotted Blaise lounging against a tree with a small group of Slytherins around him. Alicia smirked before kissing Draco’s cheek. She giggled girlishly as Draco started playing with her hair.

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Emily brushing a few strands of hair out of Jamie’s eyes. He was leaning back against the bench, one of her legs propped against the seat over his lap. He tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as they laughed.

Alicia snuggled up into Draco’s arms as Blaise stared at them intently. “This is weird,” Draco finally whispered.

“It’s fine, as long as the four of us know it means nothing,” Alicia whispered back.

“No offence or anything, but I wish you were Emily right now,” Draco whispered with a sigh.

“I know what you mean,” Alicia muttered as she stared over at Emily and Jamie.


“What do you think they’re talking about?” Emily whispered after a while.

“I don’t know,” Jamie sighed in frustration. Emily could tell that he didn’t like how Draco’s arms were around Alicia.

“You can trust him, you know,” Emily whispered. Jamie met her eyes and sighed.

“I want to, Ems, but…” he started.

“Do you trust me?” she interrupted.

“Yes, but it’s not the same,” he argued.

“If you trust me then you should trust my judgment… He’s trustworthy, Jamie, I promise,” Emily said quietly. Jamie looked into her eyes and knew that she was right.

“Okay, fine, I guess I’ll have to trust you both,” Jamie sighed in defeat. Emily grinned as he chuckled.


Alicia and Jamie walked hand in hand into the Great Hall the next morning, grinning from ear to ear. They acted like yesterday hadn’t even happened. They opened the door, Emily right behind them and headed for the Gryffindor table. Emily’s head snapped around to find Draco. He was already making his way over to her.

“Draco!” she sighed as she started running toward him. She jumped into his waiting arms and he twirled her around in the air.

“Mmmm, want some breakfast?” Draco chuckled as he kissed her hair, towing her to her table to sit with Alicia and Jamie. They ignored everyone that was staring at them as Draco brought her hand up to his lips and kissed her palm.

Blaise watched from a distance, narrowing his eyes at the couple. He looked utterly confused as the four of them laughed and joked as if nothing ever happened. Emily turned her head a fraction and Draco caught her lips with his. They kissed for a long time, ignoring everyone’s looks of disgust and confusion. Blaise stood slowly and left the Hall.

“Looks like he took the bait,” Alicia sniggered quietly as she watched Blaise leave.

“Good,” Emily laughed as she broke apart from Draco.

Emily grabbed a buttered bagel and tore off a small piece to eat. They all ate quietly for a few minutes before Draco broke the silence.

“How long are we keeping this up?” he whispered so only they could hear it. Emily locked eyes with Alicia.

“A week or so,” Emily whispered. Draco nodded, automatically taking Emily’s hand. She took a glimpse at him; he was staring at his breakfast in concentration. She could tell he really didn’t like this situation.

“Come on,” Emily said quietly, tugging on his hand. She pulled him from the table and led him down a few corridors.

“What are we doing here?” he asked as she opened the door to their dungeon. They walked across the room and sat in their familiar cushions, snuggling up with the blankets.

“Muffliato,” Emily said quietly, pointing her wand at the door.

“Did you just want to hang out in here? I thought that since everyone knew about us, you wouldn’t want to come here anymore,” Draco said slowly.

“I wanted to talk,” she whispered as she got comfortable.

“About what?” he asked casually.

“Why can’t you ease up? It’s harmless fun, Draco. It means absolutely nothing,” Emily whispered.

“I’m playing along, aren’t I?” he said defensively. Emily sighed as she twisted in his arms.

“Yes, but I don’t want you to be miserable,” she whispered as her fingers traced the outline of his lips.

“I’m not miserable…now,” he whispered. “I’ll be fine, Ems, don’t worry. The sooner this whole thing is over, the better,” he added. He tucked a curl behind her ear.

“You know I love you, right?” she whispered.

“I know,” he said softly as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

“Forever and Always, Draco,” she whispered.

“Forever and Always,” he promised with a smile.

Rock is a sweet but it's a stick. You get all sorts of colours and kinds. For example - Edinburgh Rock is patel coloured and soft. Isle of Wight rock is any colour but hard on the outside but soft in the middle (my favourite). When you come to Britain and visit tourist towns you will be surrounded by the stuff.

And, no my congratulations couldn't have been bigger. It was size seven

“I hear that you’re starting to trust Draco now?” Alicia said quietly as she and Jamie wandered outside. Jamie frowned at her. “Mind reader, remember?” she added and he shrugged.

“I trust Emily’s judgment, so- sort of, yeah,” he said, kissing her hair. It turned scarlet under his lips.

“You know, a week feels like a long time now,” she said, sighing as they sat under an oak tree.

“I know exactly what you mean… As much as I love Emily, I just don’t feel right doing this,” he whispered as Alicia rested her head on his shoulder.

“What you mean is ‘as much as I love Emily, I want to kill Draco for touching you like that’?” She laughed as he shrugged. “Jamie, this is only for a week and then we can get back to normal- apart from you hating Draco, which has to stop,” she ordered, sitting forwards to look at him.

“Ali… Can we just leave the conversation there? We only have today together before we change again.” He sighed and she could hear the defeat in his voice.

“Jamie Starlight- I want you to listen to me,” she said, grabbing his face with both of her hands. “I love you- no one else. Nothing can ever come between us now, okay? And we have forever together- Now and Forever together,” she said, staring into his sapphire eyes.

“I know that… Who am I going to Hogsmeade with next week?” he asked sarcastically, looking across the grounds at the lake.

“Me- You owe me a present,” she said and he frowned at her.

“From when? I got you two presents at Christmas and three on your birthday!” he said and she grinned.

“From now- It’s going to be a ‘Sorry I hated your idea and I’ll do whatever you want without moaning’ present… Don’t worry, I’ll get you something too… Can we go and see Harry?” she said, glancing at the windows of the Hospital Wing.

“Yeah… Come on then,” Jamie said, standing up and taking her hand.

“Let’s get the others- Harry heard about yesterday, we’ll have to explain it to him,” Alicia said and Jamie nodded.

Not entirely sure that they were in there and feeling rather awkward if they were, Jamie knocked on the dungeon door. At first there was nothing but then the door opened.
“Jamie? Is everything okay?” Draco asked as he let him inside.

“In a way…” he said, raising his eyebrows. Draco understood what he meant.

“Jamie, spit in out,” Emily said as she looked over at them. “And stop hating this thing we’re doing!”

“Harry heard about yesterday and Ali’s trying to convince him that it’s just a plan- she wants your help,” he said and Emily laughed.

“I was just thinking about going to see him actually… The last time we were up there was when Ce- was the day of the third task,” Emily said, changing her sentence mid- flow.

“Ron and Hermione say that he’s fine but he just doesn’t want to leave… I can’t blame him for what people have been saying,” Jamie said and Draco nodded.

“Someone in the common room is spreading round that he killed Diggory just to get to the cup and he’s made up the whole story to cover his back,” he said and Jamie frowned. “What?”

“I heard about that one… Dumbledore said that as long as we believe him, then others will start to as well,” he said as they opened the double doors and walked towards the end bed where they could hear shouting from behind the curtain.

“Listen to me!” Alicia shouted again as the three walked round the curtain. Harry glared at Emily.

“I don’t want you here,” he said harshly and Emily raised an eyebrow at him.

“Excuse me?” she said, glaring back. “If you opened your eyes and unblocked your ears- you’d find that Alicia’s telling the truth!” she said angrily.

“Why would you do that though? It’s sick,” he said and the boys swapped looks that said ‘I agree’.

“First- you two stop that now!” Alicia said, pointing at them. “Second- Draco’s dad was spying on him and Emily so I decided to play a little mind game!” Alicia’s hair fell over her shoulders as it turned black. “And for another thing- ” She stopped and stared at the wall, her eyes turning pink.

“As she was saying… For another thing, it shouldn’t mean that much to you anyway! Fred and George are perfectly fine with it!” Emily said as Jamie steered Alicia into a chair.

“You know, I’m not going to get used to that,” Draco muttered as he watched Alicia. Jamie laughed.

“I know that it took me a while to get used to it- I’m still trying to get used to the mind- reading…” he said as Harry apologized to Emily.

“Oh- great, just great! I wanted to go and see Winston! That takes the biscuit!” Alicia said, making them jump.

“What?” Jamie said, sweeping her black curls out of her eyes.

“Draco, you need to write to your dad and see if you can get him to change his mind about coming up to Hogsmeade next week,” she said, staring off into the future again.

“Right…” he said as Emily pulled a quill and parchment out of her bag.
“Do it now- then we can find out if it will work,” she said quickly, pushing it into his lap.

“It will work- but there’s something else that’s going to waste time… I can’t figure out what it is though!” she said angrily, hitting the arm of the chair.

Throughout that week, Alicia spent most of her time scanning the future to find out what was going to happen. Both Jamie and Draco found this annoying as they swapped each day.

“I’m running out of arguments,” Emily said as the four of them sat just inside the tree line of the forest. Blaise had taken up stalking the dungeon.

“Just start shouting about anything then,” Alicia mumbled as her eyes went in and out of focus.

“Will you stop searching already?” Jamie said, grabbing her hands. She looked at him before her eyes turned pink. Jamie didn’t notice. “The trip into the village is tomorrow! And today is the last day of this swapping thing- let’s just relax!”

“She can’t hear you,” Emily said through quiet giggles. “But I agree- let’s just relax for a bit.”

“WHAT!” Alicia shouted and a bird rose out of a nearby tree while Jamie let go of her hands as if he’d been electrocuted.

“Ouch!” he muttered, rubbing his palm and frowning. “What is it?”

“Blaise,” Alicia growled and Draco stared at her. “He’s going to confront us in the village!” she said and the three fell silent.

Great post!!! I absolutely loved it. The swapping stuff was hilarious while it lasted but it does have to end at some point

that .... ipod again, sorry. i've missed two posts with all the travelling but i'm here now. the game stuff is just hilarious! i love it. i'm glad it will be going back to the way its supposed to be. Jamie and Alicia were cute under the oak tree bit. i loed that!

Hello Girls! I need to comment to the both of you. Alright, first Emily I loved your post! This is so fun for the girls, but, the guys aren't having the same fun. I think it's great they are so sweet for it being hard for them to get in the game mind set. It's like they keep trying, but they don't like seeing another guys arm around their girl. And Emily....... as much as I hate to admit it. I do like Draco... a little bit.

You have been missed, but I must say you left your posts in capable hands with Emily. She did a great job for you. Now! Onto your post. It's great of course, and I must say, I wouldn't be able to get used to Alisha's eye's turning pink either, so I can't fault Draco for that. I hate it when people say things they know nothing about! But, what could he possibly think he could do? Unless Lucius is with him.
