Erm…Well, I’m Lottie for those of you who didn’t know and this is actually my 2nd Fan Fic, but your forbidden from reading the first one *nods* Anyway so this one is about Trixie, my SRPG charrie…obviously, who is often called Memory!Charm but we will get to that later… Or not… Err…okay I’m not sure what else to write. What AM I supposed to write here? I’m extremely nervous about this so yeaaaaah… Oh and this isn't written in any chronological order in particular, its just her memoirs as the title suggests.

Now we shall start with an introduction..

My life?? Well it isn’t exactly the most exciting life you could have, but it certainly isn’t the most boring. I think far too many things happen that could never be described as that. But to anyone reading, not that I think anyone WOULD or even should be, I’ll only explain aspects I’ve found exciting. Now get out of my thoughts and let me continue by myself. I’m only kidding…Well sort of.

Only a year ago and I wouldn’t have been able to remember any of this. Thanks to a certain Mr Patrick Dubois the majority of my memory was gone, down the drain. Vamoosh. But I got it back. Eventually. A few old memories, great ones at that, rather like how you would produce a Patronus and they came back. Slowly albeit but they are here. And it feels greater then ever. But back then the first memory I could think of was boarding the train on the way to Hogwarts.

My 5th year brought me memories that replaced the old ones. Ones that kinda made me forget about what I couldn’t remember and focus more on what I could. Anyway that’s enough about the memory loss. I’m sure that anyone stalking this ~~Even though they shouldn’t be~~ wouldn’t want to read about this and quite frankly, neither would I…..

Chapter One- Arriving at Hogwarts

So Hogwarts wasn’t quite what I had expected it to be. True it was pretty… And big. Very big. Even for a fifth year but at first, it just didn’t feel, well right. Number one, the only person I knew was my cousin, Leminerva and she was never around anyway and number two, I didn’t know how I was supposed to react to being sorted into Slytherin. I’d heard rumours, not that I am subject to believe such tales, that Slytherin was supposed to be the evil house and that just made me think people were going to be prejudice. I didn’t want that. I’m not evil. Well not entirely anyway…..

Anyway where was I? I think the first person I met when I came here was Ella, although I initially didn’t know what to make of her. We didn’t make the greatest of starts and sure we are absolutely fine now, but back then insults were being thrown here and there and well, everywhere. Especially once we found out we were actually related. That reminds me of another family member I met before actually arriving in Hogwarts. Little Emma Malfoy. It had been years since we last saw each other so it was pleasant to finally have a little family reunion. And that also meant that I had someone else I knew within the castle walls. Just three people though? Seemed as if my popularity was going to be extremely minimal that term. Didn’t take long until I had muscled my way into some major drama though. It wasn’t my fault. Honestly. Just the guys at Hogwarts are too good looking for their own good.

Before I had even got through the gates of the school, I had already argued with more then one person. It wasn’t MY problem that me and Ella seemed to be related, cousins in fact. I didn’t have it planned all along. Heck I didn’t even know until she mentioned the name. But there was nothing we could do about that anyway so there was no point continuing on that debate. And my suitcase was far too heavy for me to lift. If someone had offered to have taken it from me it wouldn’t have landed on Patrick’s foot would it? Pfft…. Some people just like to over dramatise things. So I entered Hogwarts in not exactly the greatest of moods. Okay I was in tears but I hated being shouted at back then when I knew like no one. And he WAS a 7th year, I was only a 5th. But things progressed quickly, he forgave me, like I would do later that year and I ended up engaged in some conversation about Quidditch with Emma and her first year friends. It was around the time that I met Vanessa as well who I honestly thought was in some kind of relationship with Mr Dramatic himself. But I was surprised to find she was a Gryffindor whilst Pat, Ella, Emma and I had all been placed in the shifty house.

I never thought of myself as a Slytherin. To be honest I didn’t know a lot about the houses, apart from the petty rumours that I’d heard on occasions. But as I’ve gone through my school year, I found out I’m more of a Slytherin then I had initially thought. In fact, I really don’t think it’s right for me to be sorted into another house. I wouldn’t belong there. If I was to ask someone that truly knew me well what traits best described me, then I bet one of the first things they would come out with were either “sarcastic” or “self centred” the latter of which I find hard to believe. So I was more at home in Slytherin then I am anywhere else. And do you know what....?

Chapter 2- History of Magic

You know what? I would never in my life, had expected History of Magic to be so fun. Spatula’s? Clothes pegs? Complete and utter madness? I really hadn’t had so much fun like, ever. Which is why I was so reluctant to put on the “armour” or what it really was, pots and pans, at first. And also explains why I was so critical of the weirdness of the lesson and initially, the teacher. But that didn’t last long. Although I think I had more fun then I did learning anything. But who cares really when the enjoyment you got out of it was so much more then education. Or at least it was for the first lesson, I had to learn something somewhere. You know, I’m not a swot or anything *whistles*. You’ll find I do this a lot. Ramble. My thoughts end up everywhere so get used to it. Some people may call me an airhead, but I’m really not, I just have no common sense and get easily distracted, like I am right now. Did I just basically describe an Airhead then? Anyway back to what actually happened in the lesson…..

So once Professor Lainey ~~The absolute genius~~ had lead the class outside, me staying with Aiden and Prefect Nancy, them shoving a saucepan on my head, my mind was still not totally sure that I was going to enjoy this lesson one bit. Wasn’t school for like, learning and not for stupid activities? How wrong I was. A battle. That was what we were told we were doing. Just a battle. Everyone were our enemies, no matter your house or year. All for themselves basically. Sounded good to me. We were practically left to our own vices. Use whatever weapons you had and protect yourselves with whatever means you can. So who better to be my first ~~victim~~ enemy then a certain Slytherin Captain? That’s right Oliver Greenwood. You were going down.

I charged, quite literally, towards someone whom I hardly knew. Oh come on, it was all in good fun wasn’t it? And my weapon of choice? A pillow. That’s right, a duck feather filled pillow. Well Lainey did say that no one was meant to get hurt. The next minute I knew, he had ended on the floor. Pfft….Wuss. Little did I know that some Gryffindor was on his way to rescue him. Hmph. Not fair. And then Oliver destroyed the bloomin pillow *pouts* I was pretty much left defenceless and laughing my head off in the middle of the Hogwarts grounds. Not that it was too hard to have him distracted, there were tons of people after the captain, I only had Aiden to watch out for. Well I did for a little while, then some crazy Ravenclaws were on my case and for only first years, they were more vicious then the older students.

But HE ~~That’s Oliver to you~~ took the opportunity to get revenge whilst I was far too distracted with my Ravvie friend. I was on the ground within seconds. A pillow to the back and SPLAT. The grass was certainly my friend for the entirety of that lesson. and apparently, clothes pegs were my enemy. Mhmm…I had to blink a few times to work out what they were too. I certainly loved that pillow for the hours we were out in the grounds even if the feathers were seeping out everywhere and most of them had ended in my hair.

3 enemies later and a few more worn out pillows, I had someone new to face…..Cue Spatulaclaw. Or as she is better known by everyone else, Vashti Greenwell. Quite frankly scary with a spatula even if she was only a second year. She even faked the most dramatic death I had ever seen just so that I would surrender and she could attack me with that evil kitchen Utensil, renamed the “Spatula of Doom.” Oh yeah we were that cool.

But you can never have fun for too long before its brought to an end. Sadly school entitles other lessons that aren’t just History of Magic and the lesson was drawn to a close, though I really could have spent the rest of the school year there. There’s always next time right?

Chapter 3 - Muggle Studies

I was flicking back through old diary entries the other day, forgot I even wrote in a diary, guess it was something to do with my memory loss, fear of loosing anything else, writing it down seemed like a good option, which of course it was. So much has happened in 2 years, I forgot to write anything else in here, which is why I’m going back. If anything comes to me, doesn’t matter in which order, it will go straight in here, sort of like a jumbled up version of my Hogwarts life. I’m sorry if you don’t like things that aren’t in chronological order, but here’s how I roll. And anyway, what exactly are you doing in here in the first place? Get outta my thoughts nosey.

You know, there are times when you fall in love with the wrong person and I have probably done that. I’m not afraid to admit it, I’m in love with my best friend, heck loads of people probably know already anyway, even his girlfriend does, she found out end of fifth year, which reminds me of a whole other load of events. Like.. Oh Muggle Studies.

It must have been the first lesson of term. I’d spoken to Jeremy, or rather Professor Zookara as he is now known, over the holidays, not that I could exactly remember him. Complete and utter embarrassment, it took a lot of talking and retelling of events in my life to finally convince me that I did know him. Talking to dad helped to, turns out they played Professional Quidditch together in America, the name of the team slips my mind, I’d have to check Olivers broom to find that out, or ask either of them two of course. Oh. Yeah that’s my bestie, Oliver Greenwood, former captain, then turned Head Boy. Impressive right? Well I was proud of him anyway. He’s amazing and I wouldn’t change him for the World, and I REALLY should stop basking him in compliments before his head grows any larger, but he shouldn’t be able to read this anyway, and if he does, well he should expect another ball hit at him. Oh my gosh, off subject but that shall be my next entry. Good times eh? It wasn’t totally my fault though. And now back to the Muggle Studies lesson.

~~Professor~~ Jeremy had planned for the first lesson to be all about Baseball, practical included. I knew very little of it, other than what I had read out of a textbook, just the basic stuff. A practical game of the Muggle Sport didn’t sound like the most appealing of things to be spending my lesson doing, but I’m willing to give anything a try. ~~Even if it was just to impress Jeremy, so not going to happen~~ I’d chosen my partners, Sarah of course, the then Head Girl would look out for me right? And she had been joined by the Hufflepuff Tri Wizard Champion, which eventually turned out to be the overall champ, Fletcher. It was going fine, just general chat about the game, until Cam - that’s Olivers girlfriend - volunteered herself to bat first. I wasn’t really paying attention, Sarah was FAR more interesting then some Ketchup hitting a ball that was thrown towards her. It wasn’t hard to miss though when that, very hard might I add, ball came off contact with her bat and straight towards my precious head.

As you can imagine, I was livid!

Cam and I weren’t exactly what you would call friends, not since what I accidentally told her, practically the last week of term. Its not MY fault it happened, I can’t control what it is I feel, it just happens. Honestly? If I could turn back time I would. I don’t understand what it was she was so angry about, whether it was over protection or jealousy or spitefulness or even fear, I wouldn’t do anything. I have enough brains to recognise that if I did, I’d probably end up loosing my closest friend, and I value our friendship more than anything, I found that out right at the end of term.

But the ball to my head was enough and I lost it completely! I’m not even ashamed to say it. Still to this day I swear she did it on purpose, revenge or something. It didn’t make a lot of difference at first, it just HURT! A lot of the students were either staring or not paying attention at all, I was glaring at her like I could kill her. It only took 2 minutes before I was on the floor out cold though. It was probably the quietest I’d ever been in my life, over than the time I was stupefied of course, the grass wasn’t exactly the most comfortable of places to be however. All I remember hearing was a rather frantic Cam, a pretty calm Jeremy and Oliver. He was the first person I saw when I woke as well. I was still angry, furious in fact, despite Oli’s attempts at calming me down, I headed straight for the bat. Jer was trying to help too and by this time quite a crowd had gathered, including Sarah. With the bat firmly in my hands I knew immediately who I would go for, her bloomin’ red hair wasn’t hard to miss. Even though Jeremy was threatening to tell my dad, it wasn’t him I instantly dropped the bat for, it was the threat from Oliver, and not the house point taking one, more of the thought that he would disown me if I took it any further.
Of course we both were called into the Professors office right after, my head was pounding, a lovely shining bruise on the back with a huge lump, Oliver and I had ventured up to the Hospital Wing, despite Oli’s protests against it and it wasn’t long before I found myself in Professor Zookara’s office.

I still don’t regret my actions today. I honestly thought it was purposeful. You can’t blame me for being such a Slytherin.
