Sorry, post coming up, I was at emergency doctor people. I have baffled them. :xd:

Everyone laughed, including Lindsey. 'Right, you should go and talk to Dennis...' Nat advised.
'Yeah, I'll go do that now...' Lindsey sighed as she looked at her watch. 7PM. She had an hour. She ran to the Common Room. No Dennis? Well, she knew Dennis well enough to know who his friends were! She walked up to them casually. 'Hey, guys!' Lindsey grinned. 'Have you seen Dennis?'
'No, he ran out without speaking to anyone... what happened?' One called Tom asked.
'He hugged me, I don't like being touched by boys, I ran off, and, according to you, he ran off!' Lindsey sighed.
'You owe me a Galleon Nick!' Tom exploded. 'I bet he liked you, Nick said he didn't...' Tom explained as Nick reluctantly handed over a gold coin. Lindsey rolled her eyes. Boys... always gambling... Lindsey thought for a minute. 'The Courtyard!' she exclaimed as she tore off. She arrived at the Courtyard 10 minutes late (Those stairs are really hard to climb down!) She saw Dennis with his head in his hands. She snuck up behind him. 'Guess who!' she grinned. Dennis's head snapped up.
'Lindsey?' Dennis said, looking behind him. She wasn't there. 'Oh, great, now I'm hearing stu- AH!' he yelled as Lindsey was beside him. 'How many times do I tell you not to scare me like that!' Dennis breathed. 'What do you want?' he growled.
'Alright, Mr. Sulky, I'll leave then, shall I?' Lindsey scowled. She got up, but he pulled her back down.
'I'm sorry, 'kay?' Dennis said sadly, pulling her into a hug. She felt her body burn in an attempt to get him off of her and he jumped back. 'Bloody hell! What is your problem!?' Dennis shrieked as he checked for any burns.
'I was about to tell you, but you pulled me in.' Lindsey said cooly. He glared at her and motioned for her to carry on. 'My brother died when I was 9, he was the only boy who touched me, apart from the occasional hug from my dad, so now I don't like boys touching me. I can touch them, but when they touch me without a without a warning, I get scared.' Lindsey explained, still glaring a little bit. Dennis's eyes widened.
'I'm sorry, I didn't know that.' he said slowly.
'Now you know why I ran off.' she said simply.
'So, I can't touch you without warning. We need to train you out of that then.' he said simply. 'I'm going to hug you now.' Dennis smiled as he reached forward and pulled her into a strangling hug. She controlled herself not to burn him, and didn't. 'So far so good!' Dennis smiled cheekily

Haha I agree with ^^ but I like it :) and I think it's funny that lindseys the one who can burn people...i dunno why. Pams! I'm posting from my phone right now and pams just auto corrected to "Pans" which I think is hilarious and I may use it now. So pans! :)

:xd: Yeah, I had something else, but it was WAY much more cheesier! My brother's been betaing these, and said it was too Mary Sue. So I changed it. Blame Gingerzrule! :xd: Well, as long as the story's OK?

Lindsey didn't mind being hugged at that moment. She needed one. Her life had been turned upside down.
'When a boy touches you, think of the boy, not your brother.' Dennis whispered. Lindsey nodded. She would take his advice. She needed to learn. 'So, you control fire, huh?' Dennis grinned.
'And you're good at stating the obvious, huh?'
'Touché!' Dennis laughed.
'OMGODRIC!' Lindsey gasped as she looked at her watch. 10 to eight... 'I gotta go!' Lindsey frowned.
'Alright, but tell me what happens when you get back!' Dennis smiled, hugging her. He barely winced when she accidentally heated up.
'Alright!' Lindsey grinned, noticing an improvement. 'See ya!' she shouted as she ran off. She arrived outside McGonagall's office. 'Kennilworthy!' she said and walked in. She saw Kate, John and Nivera were already there. 'Hey guys!' she grinned.
'Shh!' the shushed her.
'She's talking to someone!' Nivera hissed. Suddenly McGonagall's door opened.
'Come in!' McGonagall said gently. They walked in and saw four others stood there. Two boys. Two girls. One of the girls had ginger hair with plaits and the other had dark hait down her back. One of the boys had platinum blond hair and the other messy black hair and glasses...
'Kate Anasi, Susan Bones.' McGonagall introduced.
'John River, Cho Chang.'
'Nivera Wollock, Draco Malfoy.'
'Lindsey Jenkins, Harry Potter.' Lindsey was surprised to hear the others gasp and looked around madly to see what they were gasping at. 'Sit with whomever I have just introduced you to' McGonagall instructed. All of them sat next to their people. 'Now, as you know, you have been given special powers. And, although they can't do this themselves, these will be your mentors! Now, I'll be back in 10 minutes. Feel free to get to know each other, you're going to be spending a while together!' McGonagall smiled. The others started to chat so Lindsey turned to Harry.

'Well, hey! I'm Lindsey!' Lindsey smiled, holding out her hand.
'Harry, nice to meet you!' Harry beamed, shaking her hand. 'So, you're Firegirl, huh?'
'You're Lightningdude, right? What's up with that anyway?' Lindsey asked pointing to the scar. 'Not being rude or anything...' Lindsey flushed as Harry roared with laughter.
'Right, long story short, Voldemort tried to kill me when I was a baby, failed and left me this souvenier! I killed him last year.' Harry explained.
'Ah, so you're the person everyone's been talking about!' Lindsey grinned as he nodded.
'And, you don't know that story because...?'
'I'm a Muggleborn...' Linsey shrugged
'Ah, one of my best friend is a Muggleborn!' Harry beamed. 'Can I see some of this fire?'
'Sure!' Lindsey said as she looked at her hand. A fireball burst into it and she chucked it from hand to hand like a ball. Harry looked on, awestruck. She showed it to Harry.
'Woah!' he breathed.
'So you already have some control over it?' a voice said behind her. She turned around to see McGonagall staring at her. Lindsey looked at her hands and put the fireball out. 'A tiny bit. I still burn when I'm angry, but I can control a bit when I want to conjure some...' Lindsey said sheepishly.
'Well. Potter here is going to help you with that. Mentoring starts tomorrow at 8PM and will go on for 1 hour. You will be in the Great Hall which will be vacated for you to use. Don't be late.' McGonagall barked.
'See you tomorrow, Lightningdude!' Lindsey grinned.
'See ya, Firegirl!' Harry chuckled. They all left McGonagall's office, and the mentors stayed behind to talk to McGonagall. 'This is amazing!' Lindsey gasped.
'I know!' Kate and John exclaimed. Nivera left soon enough, then Kate.
'Our Common Room's on the same floor!' John grinned.
'Ah! Well, come on! We gotta get back before Filch finds us!' Lindsey laughed, starting to run. Soon enough they got to the Seventh Floor Corridor, where John turned a corner and yelled; 'Bye, Lindsey!'
'Bye, John!' Lindsey yelled back, as she approached the Fat Lady. 'Bubotuber pus!' she said promptly. The Fat Lady smiled and swung open to let her in. She looked around the room, when she felt someone hug her from behind. She tensed up, and let a little bit of heat through. Dennis seemed to not notice, which meant she was getting better. 'Why didn't I feel a heat surge?' Dennis asked cheekily.
'I don't know. I controlled myself.' Lindsey smiled as he ushered her to the others.
'What was it?' Holly asked as soon as Lindsey sat down. Dennis sank next to Nat, who was next to Lindsey. The others looked eager to find out. 'Well, McGonagall's getting us mentored, and so we met out mentors!' Lindsey grinned.

'Who's yours?' Nat asked.
'Lightningd- I mean, Harry Potter.' Lindsey chuckled as she just stopped herself from calling him 'Lightningdude'. She stopped laughing as she heard Dennis gasp. 'What's up?' Lindsey asked.
'Colin used to take pictures of Harry Potter, he said that they were friends!' Dennis said plainly.
'Can I tell them?' Lindsey askd, hugging him. He nodded. 'Dennis's brother, Colin, snuck back into the Battle last year and died.' Lindsey said quietly.
'Oh my Quaffle, I'm so sorry, Dennis!' Nat exclaimed as the rest ran to comfort him.
'It's OK, none of you killed him...' Dennis sniffed. The others looked worried, not knowing what to do or what to say. Eventually they decided.
'Well. Even so. We are sorry, Dennis.' Holly said tentatively. OOC- Big word! :D 'Anyway. Um. So, Harry Potter's your mentor?' Holly said, keen to change the subject. 'Yeah. Well, I call him Lightningdude. Hey, he calls me Firegirl!' she defended as the others burst out laughing. 'C'mon, we'd best get to bed...' Lindsey yawned.
'Aw, are all my girlfriends leaving me?' Dennis pouted in mock annoyance.
'I think we can leave you a present!' Kate said, her eyes twinkling.
'Yes. Just close your eyes!' Leyla smiled, catching on. Dennis closed his eyes cautiously.
'Quick, Leyla, write a note!' Kate urged. Leyla nodded and picked up a quill and some parchment and began to scribble. When she had finished she handed it to Kate. Kate grinned and pulled something brown. 'Oh my Godric, guys, a-' Nat was cut off as Leyla put her hand over her mouth. Kate smiled and stuck the note onto the object, pulled a stick out of it, placed it in Dennis's hand and bolted out of the room, motioning for them to follow. They ran after her, Leyla yelling; 'Open your eyes!' Then they ran to the Girls Dorm. Dennis opened his eyes and looked at the note.

'What!?' Dennis gasped, looking at the object. He shook his head, with an amused face. 'Bloody hell, you girls are good...' Dennis chuckled as the dungbomb exploded.

The girls were up in their room screeching with laughter. ‘What did the note say!?’ Lindsey laughed, gasping for air.
‘Take a bath!’ Leyla snickered.
‘Ah…’ the girls sighed, red with laughter.
‘Oh Godric, I can smell it from here!’ Nat sniffed, a look of disgust appearing on her face.
‘Ew!’ Lindsey grimaced.
‘Right, I’m gonna hit the hay!’ Holly yawned.
‘Yeah, we’d better go to sleep…’ Lindsey said, her eyelids closing and fluttering open again. So they all got into their beds, oblivious to Dennis planning revenge downstairs.
Next morning, Lindsey woke up to find the room burned to a char. Nothing had been spared. The other girls were cowering in the corner of the room, looking terrified. Then they all turned into Dennis. ‘I thought you were a good person. Seems I was mistaken…’ and suddenly Lindsey was sat up, screaming. She looked around the room, to see if everyone was alright, to find the room was… fine? ‘Must’ve been a dream…’ Lindsey yawned. She went to lie down, but caught site of her bed. Burned. She looked at her hands. They were on fire! So was… everything!? Lindsey screamed, and got up. She saw the girls getting up and saw them get a flash of her as she ran out of the room. They jumped up and ran down to follow her. ‘Was that…?’ Nat asked
‘Lindsey!?’ Kate and Leyla exclaimed.
‘Come on, let’s get Dennis!’ Holly yelled. They ran to the boy’s dorm and found he sign ‘Fourth Year Boys’. ‘Ah ha!’ Holly exclaimed as she read the sign. They burst in to find all of the boys chattering animatedly. ‘Girls?’ Dennis raised an eyebrow.
‘Can’t get enough of you, can they Dennis?’ Tom sniggered.
‘It’s Lindsey!’ Nat exclaimed. Dennis shot up.
‘What!? Oh, girls, just tell me on the way!’ he said, running out of the room. The girls ran after him, stopping in the Common Room. ‘Where is she?’ he asked angrily.
‘We don’t know, she was-‘Kate began.
‘On fire and she ran out-‘Leyla continued.
‘Screaming!’ they finished.
‘Holy Quaffle, you guys go get McGonagall!’ Dennis instructed. ‘Meet me at the Courtyard!’ Dennis called after them as they ran off. He knew she’d be there; it was all stone, nothing to set on fire! He ran to the Courtyard, and, sure enough, when he got to the Corridor leading to it, he saw an orange glow from outside. He sucked in his breath and ran to the entrance of the Courtyard. He let out his breath and walked out, his eyes closed.

Thankkieess. And oh, what the Holy Quaffle just happened to her ?

Oh my godric! Poor Lindsey! Amazing chapter!! Dennis to the rescue!

‘Lindsey?’ Dennis called. He opened his eyes and gasped. In front of him was a flaming horse with a rider on top. The rider had long flaming hair, waving wildly in the wind, never going out, like a normal fire would. It seemed to get stronger! It’s body was encased in flaming armour, protecting it from danger, as if the Heliopath wasn’t enough. It’s face wasn’t on fire though. It’s eyes, though. You could see the flames bursting inside them, licking the sides, trying to escape to no prevail. This rider was Lindsey. She rode forward, brandishing a flaming sword she had pulled out of midair. She jumped off and walked towards Dennis. He opened his arms to hug her, and in a single movement she had jumped behind him and pulled the sword in front of him. ‘Lindsey, what’re you-‘ Dennis spluttered, only to be cut off by Lindsey’s head shooting to the side. She turned the rest of her body to face the interruption. Dennis gasped as he saw McGonagall, followed by the girls marching towards them. And although they wouldn’t come near her, they had a go of calming her down anyway! ‘Lindsey Jenkins! Take that sword away from him immediately!’ McGonagall shouted at her.
‘Hilee! Come!’ a hoarse voice called. The Heliopath galloped to his master and Lindsey lifted Dennis on, as if he was feather light, and climbed on as well. ‘LINDSEY!’ the girls shouted, running towards her. Lindsey pushed her hand forward to emit a wall of fire which surrounded her and Dennis. The girls screamed, and Lindsey turned and Hilee started to gallop at the fire, both ignoring Dennis’s yells, but the fire wall parted at the last minute, leaving a big enough gap for them to pass through. The girls and Professor McGonagall heard Dennis’s shouts as he was taken. ‘Professor McGonagall?’ Holly said shakily.
‘Bed.’ McGonagall breathed. The girls ran off, sobbing, knowing it best not to argue with McGonagall. ‘Expecto Patronum!’ McGonagall whispered. A cat burst out and ran around her, it’s tail swaying. ‘Tell all of the Professors to meet me in the Courtyard NOW!’ McGonagall instructed. The cat leapt off, a silvery trail following it. A big man approached, yawning, and stumbling dangerously. ‘Profess’ McGonagall? Whas ‘appened?’ Hagrid yawned. All the teachers followed in their night wear behind him. ‘Lindsey Jenkins, blessed with fire, has taken a student under the name of Dennis Creevey. I think she has taken him to the cave in which Hagrid’s half-brother Grawp used to live in. We have to go and get them!’ McGonagall told them firmly, ignoring the gasps coming from the teachers. They all nodded after getting over the initial shock and McGonagall lead them on to the cave, her wand lit.

BTW, Italics is her hoarse voice. Just remember that. If it's like this, it's her normal voice, if it's like this it's horrible one.

Oooohhh. Intriguing. What did happen to her ?I'm still confused.

*gets a mini roll* Fine, I shall explain. Lindsey knows whenever something bad is nearby. You won't know what 'It' is until later in the story. :D

Lindsey arrived at the cave and dismounted. Dennis tried not to shake so much, prove he was brave, as she lifted him off. Apparently, she was strong as well! 'Lindsey, please! Let me go!' Dennis pleaded.
'No, I have to protect you!' Lindsey replied.
'Protect me? What from?' Dennis asked, sitting down on the ripped up cushion he had found. Apparently Grawp didn't know how to hold pillows!
'Hilee! Be gone!' Lindsey commanded. The Heliopath reared on it's back legs and burst, leaving a blank space where it had been.
'What from, Lindsey?' Dennis asked again.
'I don't know. Something.' she replied. It was easy to know she was lying. Dennis got up and walked slowly towards her. He stopped a meter away from her.
'Lindsey, please, calm down!'
'I am calm!' Lindsey said, returning to her normal voice. Dennis noticed this.
'Lindsey, please, you can protect me and everyone else, when the time comes! Just don't worry yet!' he said softly. Lindsey closed her eyes, thinking of Dennis's words. She told herself he was right, and let the energy pulsing through her, painfully, calm down. She heard a gasp from Dennis and saw that her body was no longer on fire. She pulled at her hair, noticing it was still on fire, and she could actually SEE the flames in her eyes. Just a faint flam, but it was there! She realised it probably looked worse from someone else's point of view. Dennis walked closer, knowing he had to be careful, or get hurt. She'd be unhappy if she hurt anyone. 'I'm going to hug you now...' Dennis said hesitantly. He didn't want to be burnt. No way.
'No, I don't want to hurt you!' Lindsey sobbed. This was really getting to her. She'd gone loco.
'Then calm down!' Dennis pleased. Lindsey looked at his blue eyes, and he held her stare for a minute, before she noticed her hair go back ginger. Dennis walked forward. Why weren't her eyes going brown!? He stepped over and pulled her into his chest, with no warning. Nothing. Not even a tingle. 'You're alright, Lindsey, you're alright... Lindsey? Lindsey!?' Dennis yelled, as she collapsed against him. He had to hold her up, she had gone. Unconscious. She'd done a Quirrell. 'Mr Creevey! Are you alright?' Dennis turned at the voice to see McGonagall leading lots of teachers in. 'Step away from her, Dennis.' Professor Spinnet advised.
'NO!' Dennis shouted. The teachers jumped back at the outburst. Dennis wouldn't usually talk back to a teacher, let alone shout at them! 'She was trying to protect us. She said something is happening, something bad! I need to stay with her!' he snarled.
'Dennis, come on, lets get you back-' McGonagall started.
'NO! I'm sorry, Professors, I will hex you if I have to.' he growled, moving infront of her in a protective stance. The teachers eyes widened. He had just threatened them. Dennis Creevey had just threatened them. 'I need to get her to the Hospital Wing.' Dennis said firmly, pleased with the reaction he had caused.

BTW A Quirrell is a faint when something bad has happened. Remember he fainted when the Troll came in? :lol: I just thought it was funny! ;)

Woah this part is really good!! And I didn't need your definition to figure out what a quirrel is haha that's funny. Cant wait to read what's going to happen next!

Wow. Dennis. I kinda remember Hermione in him. You know not following the teachers for a time.

Yes, I think there's a little bit of Hermione in everyone, except Slytherins. She's brave, for Lions, loyal, for Puffs and smart for Ravens! :yes:

'Why, what is wrong with her?' McGonagall asked.
'I don't know! She collapsed when I fixed her!' Dennis frowned.
'Pick her up Hagrid.' McGonagall said grimly. Hagrid walked forward, but Dennis drew his wand and pointed it at him.
'I have expressed my views on this matter...' Dennis said, with a hint of warning in his voice. Hagrid paled and stepped back. McGonagall sighed. 'Dennis, look, let Hagrid take her!' Professor Spinnet begged.
'No.' Dennis said firmly, picking Lindsey up. She was heavier than she looked! He sagged with her weight and Professor Spinnet noticed this.
'Then let me put a Feather Light Charm on her!' she sighed. Dennis nodded and she waved her wand. Lindsey was suddenly lighter, and Dennis sighed with relief. He smiled gratefully at Professor Spinnet, and she smiled back, as she watched him walk out. 'He really does care for her.' she said longingly. McGonagall sighed, looking on with amusement.
'Alicia. I need you to get permission for Dennis, as his Head of House, to leave his lesson at 8PM.' McGonagall said.
'Why, Professor, I mean, Minerva?' Alicia still hadn't gotten used to calling her old Professor by her first name... McGonagall smiled an all-knowing smile.
'He will be at Lindsey's mentoring. He seems to be good at calming her down.' McGonagall smiled wryly. Alicia sent her Patronus out to meet Dennis at the Hospital Wing, and the teachers walked back.

Dennis walked into the Hospital Wing clutching Lindsey close to his chest. Madame Pomfrey rushed out, took one look at Lindsey and motioned for her to be put on the bed. Dennis smiled, and placed her on the bed, carefully. He sat down in the chair beside her, and Madame Pomfrey frowned. 'No, no, off to bed!' she said firmly.
'No, I'm staying here.'
'I'll give you a detention!'
'Go ahead, I'm not leaving.' Madame Pomfrey's expression softened at that. He really didn't care! He'd stay even if the school was coming down! 'Alright, just this once, you can stay.' she sighed. 'What's wrong with her?' she asked.
'She fainted, can you fix her?' Dennis asked.
'Easily... Rennervate!' she said, pointing her wand at Lindsey. Lindsey stirred and her eyes fluttered open.
'Dennis?' she said quietly.
