I have just read your story so far! And it is absolutly amazing, update soon! |
Chapter 38 Chapter 38: Thats one way to wake me up The next morning Percy and I awoke on the coach and chair in the Gryffindor common room. At about the same time as anyone in ear shot. "Eh?" i turned over onto my side. Percy jumped up out of his seat his eyes still shut. He rubbed his eyes, "Is something going to kill us?" he asked groggily. "No," I answered. "Good," He plopped down again. I could hear the kids upstairs moving around. A beeping continued to sound. "Where is the sound coming from?" I moaned as I pulled myself into an upright position. "Uggg," a kid came down the steps. He was probably around 11 years old. "What's that?" he said in a little voice. "Sorry kid I don't know," Percy walked around the room searching for the noise. "Come on, Percy," I turned to the boy, "Why don't you go back to bed," I suggested. "Ok," The boy trudged back up the stairs. "You guys talk funny," he muttered in an adorable British accent. "Here," Percy held up my laptop. "The evil noise is coming from this," He flicked to top open and typed on the keyboard. "Percy?" I asked as the beeping kept going on. "Yes," "Do you have any idea how to turn that off?" I walked over to where he was and pressed a single button. The sounds stopped mid beep. But an image popped up on my screen. "Percy, Annabeth, HI!" Thanks for reading :) I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, but hopefully I have distracted you from that with a mysteries phone call. Who could it be? *Raises eyebrows evilly* :evillaugh |
Amazing! Oh my goodness! Who could possibly be on the other side??????? Can't wiat for more. :) |
Yay!! You posted again! Great post! -Rachel :) |
Yay!!!!! You posted again!!! I wonder who it was!!! |
Chapter 39 Chapter 39: We have a winner! "Hey man!" Percy greeted. "Whats up?" Grover grinned. "Nothing much, dude. Whats with you? Are you in a castle?" He asked. I could see him trying to peer around us. "We might have found something," I told him. He raised his eyebrows. "Think halloween," "Witches?" "Give the boy a prize!!" Percy said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Sorry this is so short, but I promise to post more soon. I hope everyone is having a great spring break! :) |
Don't worry about it being short. And Grover most certainly deserves a prize! That was a pretty good guess. Can't wait for more! I love Crossovers! |
Awesome!! Great guess on Grover's part! Percy really does not need to be sarcastic. Really, Perce? Great job! -Rachel :) |
Chapter 40 Chapter 40: Are you serious? Our conversation with Grover didn't last too long. The Gryffindors came downstairs and clustered around us. The little kids climbed all over us in order to get a better view. It was really good that Percy and I had worked a lot with the younger kids at camp or else we would have been toast. "What does that button do?" one girl with blonde, corkscrew curls asked. "it turns the computer off," Percy answered. "Wait!!" Grover and I cried, but her precious little fingers had already clamped down on the power button. The screen went blank and thus ended our conversation with Grover. I glared accusing at Percy. "My bad," * * * We all left to the great hall for breakfast. Thalia and Lily were eating down in the kitchens. Thalia was taking, taking care of Lily a tad bit overboard. "I still find no reason that your computer can work here. It clearly states that it is impossible in Hogwarts, A History," Hermione had asked. "The computer is enchanted on its own," I told her. "Do you even know how enchantments work?" a sly girl in blue robes asked. "Yeah, do you?" Percy countered. "That's sort of what we study here," she responded. Percy nodded as he reached into his pocket. He pulled out Riptide, the blue of the pen caught his eyes......you did not read that. "What is this?" He help Riptide above his head. The kids were packing up their bags and getting ready for classes. Percy and I were in fresh jeans and t-shirts, but we were downright mangy compared to their matching uniforms. "a pen," they all chorused. Percy stared right at the sly chick. He uncapped Riptide and the pen became a sword. They all gasped. But a fake cough echoed as we turned towards the portrait entrance. "Timing is just NOT my friend," |
Nice going on Percy's part! (Both with the computer and the pen) Oh, how I would love to see the kids' faces when it turns to a sword! Oh, no. Umbridge by any chance? Great job!! -Rachel :) Oh, P.S.--Remove your first comma after "Grover" :) |
Oh no! Who just came in? I hope Rachel isn't right. Umbridge would be awful. I'd feel sorry for them is it was her. :) But Good Job! Can't wait until the next chapter! :) |
Chapter 41: Not the KITTY Percy and I were marched down the halls by some creep, Flinch or Filth or something. We held our heads high as we had gathered a crowd. I guess a lot doesn't happen at this school, because two outsiders about to get detention had drawn the beginning of a small parade. I wish I could say that they were following us to give us a sense of support. "Hugh," Percy avoided a face-plant by grabbing onto my shoulders. "Stupid cat," The dirty janitor led us up the stairs and gave Percy the stink eye. "Mind your mouth, and your feet," "I'm just saying this castle is oozing with cats. We could do with a few less," Percy muttered not too quietly. The crowd ooohhh-ed with extreme judgment. I turned my neck to see Hermione following behind us. I mouthed to her, "What did we do wrong?" She pointed ahead to Professor McGonagall who stood on the foot on the stairs along with the Minister and Umbridge. She mouthed some wizard jibber jabber back, "McGonagall is an animagus," Clearly no one here was being understood. Ok, it has been TOO long. My bad :*ops: Although I will tell you that this is the 3rd time I wrote this. Clearly I don't understand technology. |
Noooooo!!! Oh dear, poor them! Can't wait for more! |
chapter 42 Chapter 42: When people predict, trouble comes Percy, Thalia, Lily, and I were inside Umbridge's office along with McGonagall and the Minister. "Lets recap shall we," Umbridge said in her fake little girls voice. "Alright," I said, "There was a prophecy, we found you, they," I motioned to Lily and Thalia, "they found us, and then you got scared," "Got scared?!?!" Umbridge cried. "You threatened students! You could have killed them!!" She was waving her finger like a lunatic at Percy, who do his credit wasn't actually laughing. "Minister I urge you to see reason and send these 'monsters' away'!" Minsister Kingsley was calm and looked around at all of us, " Mr. Jackson, you need to remain calm and understand that others are not so confident around weapons," "Of course sir," Percy nodded his head politely. "What I want to know," McGonagall questioned, "Is why the Minister being called in for such unimportant school matters?" "Well," Umbridge, "I was unsure as how to proceed with these..hee hemm....them," "Geez," Lily was grinning, "You might be a little more thankful when this school is over run by literal monsters," "Why do you think Hogwarts is going to be over run by monsters?" Percy asked while everyone else looked horrified. "Because of all the demigods that are coming," Lily stared directly at Umbridge, "If you can't handle four how do you think you're going to run this school when the rest of us come?" |
Chapter 43 Chapter 43: Its funny cause its true "Exactly how many demigods are coming?" Kingsley asked. Lily was suddenly very focused on the last bit of dirt under her fingernails. "Ummm sir," I cut in. I turned to the other adults, "Professors there are reasons we are here and problems that we have been assigned to manage," McGonagall piercing gaze lessened, "Well, then," she smoothed the front of her robes, "Tell us the problems and surely we can contribute some of our resources. Do you have some written reports that I can distribute to the rest of the faculty?" "Ummm," I began and abruptly stopped. It was an irritating habit. "We would really appreciate your help, but-" Percy stepped forward, "but the thing is we normally don't know the problem until something......happens," the silence hung in the air. "Excuse me," Umbridge held up a claw-like hand, "'Something' like what exactly?" "The usual red flag is when someone tries to kill us," Thalia casually said. In almost perfect syncopation the four of us nodded and mumbled our agreement- "Yeah pretty much," "That's how it goes most of the time," "Sounds about right," The Minister, who had been an attentive listener, face-palmed-although he sneakily hide it by coughing. Which might have been to cover up his chucking.....Whatever it was Umbridge looked like she didn't appreciate it. Although, to be fair, I have a feeling Umbridge could find a way to dislike a free donut. So yeah...........here it is. Its been awhile- you look good......this is awkward......* sigh * |
I'm new here, and I have just read your story. Wow. It's amazing, love the way you write, can't wait for the next chapter! |
