Hidden in Plain Sight - Percy Jackson - Sa13+ This story is a crossover of Percy Jackson and Harry Potter. For the record, I own none of the characters - they are sole property of J.K. Rowling and Rick Riordan. Thanks. WARNING - I may give away the endings of the books so SORRY! Hidden in Plan Sight: Chapter 1 I let out a deep breath as the bus chugged on toward school. Which shouldn’t be so nerve-racking…in theory. I’m Percy Jackson and yes going to school seems like Hercules’s 12 labors but who can blame me. I thought about this as Goode High School came into sight. Surprisingly it felt comforting that after a lifetime of trying I didn’t get kicked out of school…am I losing my touch. Kidding. I tried to image Grover’s reaction to my joke. He would probably start laughing but it would turn into a bleat like a goat’s. What else could you expect from a satyr. Yeah you heard me. My best friend is half goat and my other best friend, Annabeth, is…um… I’ll get back to you on that. I would have said that Annabeth is my friend heck best friend (she took a knife for me talk about loyalty). Now however you could say we were dating but I haven’t seen her since we left camp. I sent her letters, emails, postcards, etc. She hasn’t replied after the fist couple. Maybe she is ignoring me or she could be constantly attacked by monsters. The latter is actually more likely. Then suddenly the bus jolted like it was going over a pothole the size of Tyson (my little brother the Cyclops). When the bus continued moving normally smoke had appeared. But the fire… was Greek Fire. I felt a hand grip me by the shirt and yank my out the window. My first instinct was not to scream because the other demigods probably would laugh till I died and my second instinct was to reach into my pocket. In a flash the near glowing blade was out and swinging. “Seaweed Brain!!” rang through the air. Only one person dared call me that. “ANNABETH!!” I shouted. I scanned my surrounding but nothing was there. Only a turned over us with a bunch of screaming teenagers trapped inside. The Greek Fire had ingested everything. “There’s no need to shout,” Annabeth said. She wasn’t there but she did have her Yankees cap which turned the user invisible. I’m guessing she’s around here somewhere. “Come on!! Percy are you an idiot follow me,” Annabeth seemed to always speak sarcastically. “Annabeth,” I said my voice was as calm as I could make it seeing as the bus I was just on is on fire. “I can’t see you.” As soon as I said that a wave of blond hair was right in front of me. Annabeth was once again wearing her orange Camp Half-blood t-shirt and jean shorts. Even though school started it was still warm (perfect for killing monsters…right). “Right…sorry,” Annabeth spat out her words and then ran. I mean dead on sprint. It wasn’t too unusual. Police didn’t make anything better when it came to half-bloods. We kept running for a while until the roads became unfamiliar and I was gasping for air. Annabeth made a sharp turn and we ended up in an alleyway. It was mostly empty except the rusted down black pickup truck. “Um…Annabeth, what is that?” I ask hesitantly. “My car,” she answered simply before taking the wheel. “Well come on we need to get to Camp now.” * * * * Yet another day at the ministry. Gosh, when will people understand that he was only 17 years old. Technically he never graduated Hogwarts. “OH, what now!!” Harry Potter screamed. His assistant, Mary Jane Alistair, once again had piled up stacks of papers with an URGENT sign stamped on. “Really, is the world this bad?” Mary Jane had entered and was looking murderous. “The Minister wants you in his office in five minutes and Harry,” she said as he was walking out the door. “don’t try to insult him. Kingsley is your friend.” But Harry was already nearing sight of Kingsley’s office. Harry had done well since Voldemort died, he became head of Department of Magical Law Enforcement. He was going to go back to Hogwarts to get his N.E.W.T.’s. “Excuse me sir,” he said calmly as he opened the door. “Oh Harry, yeah it’s me,” Ron Weasley yelled even though Harry had entered the same room as him. “Hi Ron, Minister what was so urgent?” Harry said turning toward the Minister of Magic. It was true when to Daily Profit said he was all work. If he could have his way no one would ever think that he only got this fancy job because he was the famous Harry Potter. “Hello Harry, please take a seat,” Kingsley motioned with hand to a vacant seat in the middle of the only other people in this office. Hermione was there, beaming of course, she had become head of the Department of International Cooperation. Ron on the other side of Harry had become head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports. “Well you three now that Mr. Potter has decided to join us I think I should tell you what’s going on . As you well know our London office had the greatest charm placed to detect underage magic. Now even across oceans we can tell when our young friends become a danger,” Kingsley stopped his speech and pushed a tray of biscuits towards us. “Where was I? Oh yes, we people who have such power must take responsibility. And Mr. Weasley laugh all you want but in New York City’s surrounding areas there has been more underage magic then half the world’s combined. We know of no school, orphanage, or family there listed that could have been the cause. Which means that a group of KIDS hundreds of people large are living without the law,” “So?” Harry asked , “ How can there be a danger in a few kids?” Kingsley never goes on so long in a speech and never in something like this. “And besides what does that have to do with Ron and I?” “Harry, sit down. I’ll answer your questions when I’m done. We need a couple of trained individuals to be on hand in case the United States asks for our help,” “What do we do till then?” Hermione asked offended. “These Kids probably need our help. They must be lost and confused. Who says there just not muggle borns who no one helped?” “Just wait,” Kingsley asked calmly and sent them all back to work. |
First Reader!! :) Oh my gosh i love your FF it's so great. I love Percy Jackson and of course Harry Potter. Great job. I can't wait for more. PAMS!!! :) |
Woah. There are a lot of elements from my original PJ HP fan-fic. I need to get that back up again. Anyway. This is good. :) |
Hidden in plain sight: chapter 2 Chapter 2 Good old camp. The big house was the most prominent when I first came to camp but now the number of cabins had grown so much it was practically impossible to not look at them. However now all the campers were at home. Except Clarisse, daughter of Ares, Connor and Travis Stoll, sons or Hermes, Malcolm, son of Athena, and a few newbie’s who I didn’t recognize. ‘MEETING IN THE BIG HOUSE!” Chiron yelled. He had given up his wheelchair for now so I couldn’t help but stare at the lower half of his body, the horse half. We all obeyed and soon we were scrunched up near the ping pong table which doubled as our war cousin meeting place thing. “Rachel,” Annabeth squealed which was weird because monsters squealed when they meet Annabeth. They ran up to each other and it seemed like they were now friends (funny Annabeth hated Rachel Dare BEFORE Rachel took an oath of celibacy, a vow/ promise to live without men). “Hey Rachel,” I called out. It was still awkward. The only people I knew who took that oath was the Huntresses and HATED me. “Percy come here,” Rachel said. “Guess what I got out from that finishing school just by faking a stomach bug,” “Cool, I got out of school because my school bus blew up,” “QUIET,” Dionysus called. He is God of wine but got punished for chasing some off limits chick and now he’s stuck here at camp. Whether he is supposed to train or torture us has escaped our minds. “Right,” Rachel whispered. She seemed kinda down now. That’s never a good sign for someone that can see the future. “I …well Chiron believes that trouble is stirring in the east. And he gathered you so that a quest can be made. But sooner rather than later…” her sentence was cut off by a scream of pain. Faster than you can say dryad we were outside weapons at the ready. The scream seemed to come from outside the camp’s borders. So naturally we ran there. “LEAVE ME ALONE!!!” a young girl screamed. She seemed to be around twelve years old which bugged me because that’s the age I first had to battle monsters. I sprinted toward the unlucky girl and Riptide (my sword) was swinging when I first got down to her. But there was too many of them for just one person to fight. A few people sent down arrows but not many the girl too close to them. Something was up with this demigod for echidnas, empousae, and kampê were working together to try to kill her. As they say the stronger the half-blood the stronger the foes. She was still holding her own though. She had gotten a hand on a sword object but it was moving too fast for me to see. And she must have called animals down here because I was witnessing a deer knock the heads of empousae. Time to fight * * * Soon all the monster had been destroyed. But the girl had many injures. Whether from just now or from a lifetime of battling we don’t know because soon after the fight was over she collapsed. It was weird to see someone else feint. Take her inside the big house and pump her full of nectar (the food of the gods). Once the Stoll brothers started carrying her inside green smoke poured from Rachels mouth. For those who don’t know this is a sign that a prophesy was about to be told. Maidenhood stolen A vow broken Producing a child brought to us not past today Heroes must travel in pairs far along Hyperion’s way Among their allies monsters are hidden recovering from their own war Heroes, monsters, and magical beings must stand together or be sent to hell’s door “What does it mean?” Connor Stoll asked. “It means,” Chiron answered, “ that we have some packing to do. But first we must wait for our friend to wake up,” he gestured to the fallen girl but all eyes went to the symbol above her head. It showed a moon with an arrow. Artemis’s symbol. * * * (this is being told from Annabeth’s point of view) “Come on Percy we need to get packing,” I said. It was weird to talk to Percy considering we kissed and all so ordering him around was the only way I really ever talked to him. I hate that. We , Percy & Grover & I, were all in the Athena cabin. “Let’s go,” I grabbed my back pack and pulled it down from my bunk. I never liked packing partly because it meant grabbing my ‘necessities’ out in front of people. So now I just grabbed my weapons and armor. “I don’t see why we can’t go together,” Grover complained. He hated being left alone. So me and Percy bought him a coffee and tried to pack. “For the last time Grover,” Percy explained, “it says ‘travel in pairs far along Hyperion’s way’ and me and Annabeth make two,” “What if we..,” “NO!” Percy and I screamed together. We all ended up laughing at how upset we were acting. So time for a subject change. “Do you really think Lily is a daughter of Artemis?” I asked to their confused faces. “Lily is the name of the girl. She woke up an hour ago,” Gods these guys are idiots. “Wait, isn’t Artemis like the Goddess of maidenhood?” Percy asked. “Yeah, remember the second line of the prophesy ’Maidenhood stolen A vow broken’ a vow that was broken like the vow of celibacy. Maidenhood stolen as in ARTEMIS’S maidenhood,” I answered even though I knew it would just freak them out. “Come on Percy something’s going on that could possibly led to the destruction of life as you know it and you still aren’t packed.” * * * “Ok Annabeth I’m packed,” Percy called. We both had merely brought enough essentials to fit into a backpack. “Now if you don’t mind I have to let my mother know that I’m about to leave the country,” Even though he was an idiot him making me laugh reminded me why I kissed him in the first place. I ran over to were Dionysus was passing out plane tickets. People who were traveling were old timers but there that meant only a few would go. Even less because we had to travel in pairs. Thunder and lightning started to crash which meant that Zeus knew about Lily and Artemis. Soon rain came pouring down. Out of the mist immerged a group of teenage girls armed to the teeth. “Thalia!” I called. She was a daughter of Zeus and one of the huntresses. Last time I talked to her she was Artemis’s right hand girl. She ran toward me screaming. “ANNABETH, where is she?” it didn’t take a genius to know she meant Lily. “I didn’t know. Honestly I just let her go,” Thalia was panicking. “Listen, Lily is fine. She is a daughter of Artemis but she isn’t hurt,” I said. I knew I should explain to her the prophecy, but I felt like I should let her calm down. “Hello,” Lily called. She had brown hair and glasses. She came out fully dressed in armor and the Hestiphus cabin didn’t disappoint. Her long legs were decked out in leather and her weapon was a bow. Naturally, although it truly seemed unreal. It looked more like a sword was bent and a string was attached to each point. It looked like a true monster killing machine. “Ladies please come into the mess hall,” Chiron suggested but the rain had already stopped. He proceeded explaining our plan to the huntresses. “…and lastly I have figured that Miss Lily and Miss Thalia should go as well,” Chiron’s speech was greeted by silence. “And where would that be?” Clarisse asked sarcastic as always. “London,” (Harry’s point of view) Harry was once again at home at Grimmauld Place. “What’s going on over there?” Harry asked himself. The house was silent as always and he was aching to go back to Hogwarts. “Let me see,” he muttered as he emerged himself in a pile of text books about other kinds of magic. ‘Chiron’s Guide to Understanding Half-Bloods’ “Odd title,” Harry commented and he continued reading… Thanks for reading. Please comment and i'm sorry for any grammar related errors:*ops: |
Chapter 3 Chapter 3: Annabeth’s point of view Percy was having a panic attack on the plane. It was pretty fun to watch…unless he started puking. I reached my hand out and help his. “I HATE flying,” Percy whined. He looked back over his shoulder where Thalia and Lily were practically crying. ’I’m doing better than them,” he boasted. “Be nice. Zeus might be trying to kill Artemis and Lily and your laughing at them,” I knew he was just kidding but I was anxious to get back on the ground. Zeus might just want to get 2 birds with one stone. He wouldn’t hesitate but his only daughter is on this plane. Thank ALL the gods for that. “Hello passengers, thank you for flying with us. We have now safely landed and we ask that people with small children please exit the plain first. Thank you and a have great stay in London, England,” the flight attendant’s voice stopped with a short click. And normally after that it would be pretty peaceful unless your friends sprint out of the plane as fast as they can. “Come on,” Percy said as he pulled me to my feet. “ We are in London, and even you can’t make this boring.” * * * That was about an hour ago he said that and now he won’t said saying, “This is so boring! Can’t like something attack us!” “Here Percy,” I said as I led us away from the crowds and along a deserted stretch of beach. “Perfect!” I called as I slowly dipped my hand into the water. It wasn’t as cold as I thought it would be. “So what do you think Lily and Thalia are doing now?” I asked. “Probably saving some forest,” Percy replied as he waved his hands to the rhythm of the tide. “Probably,” I agreed. It has been a long day and all I wanted to do was sleep. “What’s that?!” I cried as something chilling brushed up against my face. I opened my eyes and jumped right to my feet. “Relax, it was the water,” Percy was blushing. Of course, the only thing you can trust a son of Poseidon to do is mess with water. Soon we were both blushing. “Excuse me, but can we talk to you both for a second,” a stranger called out. I eyed Percy and he immediately understood. Time for plan numero uno- RUN LIKE HELL!!! Thanks for reading and if you want to read more of my FF look at a character story called A Phoenix Sister:voldie1: |

Chapter 4 Chapter 4 Normally police equals bad, but these people were dressed like they came out of a renaissance fair. Cotton shirts, leather boots (they looked like dragon skin), and one even had a weird lightning bolt scar. Still we walked toward them might as well know what they want. “Hey, we just want to talk to you kids,” the young one with a scar called. “Kids?” Percy asked, “we are the same age,” he pointed out. It was true the boy couldn’t be more than 18. “Besides we haven’t done anything wrong. If we want to leave we can,” Percy gloated. “You know something don’t you?” the older one asked. “Hello, I’m…” he said but the kid cut him off with a hiss. “Well I’ve got nothing to hide,” I bluffed. “My name is Annabeth and this is Percy,” Ok just roll with this innocent act. “Also did we do something wrong?” “No but…” “Do you have a reason to stop us?’ “No but…” “Then how on Earth do you expect people to take you and your profession seriously?” I called and just to let you people know never ever, ever get into an argument with a child of the goddess of wisdom. It’s just a little friendly tip. “Listen kids there has been suspicious activity and we are just trying to keep everyone safe,” the scar kid screamed. “My name is Harry Potter and you need to come with us.” “Fat chance,” Percy growled as he took a step forward. Then Potter whipped something out of his pocket so Percy ripped out his sword. Then a flash of red light surged through the air and struck Percy. He collapsed totally frozen. “Percy!!” I yelled down at him. No not after so long. It shouldn’t have ever happened. Not with the fact that Percy had taken the curse of Achilles. I didn’t even care when the red light struck me into darkness. Thanks for reading :serpent: |
nice its great PAMS |
sorry i haven't posted in a while. i promise to write more soon. blame finals |
Chapter 5 Chapter 5 Now I was no wimp having been fighting since I was six, but waking up not knowing where you are is always scary. “She’s waking up,” a red-head sang out. “She can here you,” I added. It pleased me that he seemed uncomfortable. “Where am I ?” “The Ministry,” Harry Potter answered. If I could kill one mortal with my knife guess who it would be. “The Ministry…of what?” I asked. I pushed myself off the cold stone floor. “And…where’s Percy?” “The Ministry of Magic and your friend is probably being interrogated. He woke up about an hour ago.” I ingested this information and came to a conclusion. “MOVE!” I yelled. I pushed the boy aside and ran down the corridor. Orders were screamed behind me, but I still ran. OH, Percy where are you. * * * WHAT!! I was once again locked in a room. I had tried to escape several times, but I was defeated the second the red blaze of light came. * * * Dang it, I thought maybe I would wake up somewhere else but no. The chamber was still the same. Well… there were a lot more people guarding me. “Hey!!!” I called out, “ do any of you guys have something to eat?” “You would eat food we give you?” Potter asked. “That’s not very smart.” At those words I jumped to my feed, I was still wearing the same clothes so luckily I had chosen NOT to wear my skinny jeans. Thank you Gods. “Listen Potter, I’ve eaten food handed to me by Medusa. You’re not half as scary,” I said. True it was meant as an insult, but it also struck fear into their hearts. Yeah, I was mad and Percy still wasn’t back. “Ok, then Ron go grab her something to eat,” Harry ordered “Finally we are getting somewhere,” I whined. The food wasn’t have bad. “Who’s desk is that?” I asked. “Harry’s,” the red-head Ron answered. “Cool,” I replied as I hopped onto the sleek wooded frame. “Aren’t you kinda young to have this fancy desk? You can’t be more than 17.” “I’m 18, and you can’t sit on there,” Harry pouted. “You realize your holding me hostage and are integrating a minor. Yeah, sitting on this desk is up there with high treason,” now everyone in the room was getting pretty uncomfortable. Yeah, it got even more crazy when Harry and Ron reached into their robes (I’m no kid of Amphitrite, but that can’t be trendy) and pulled out sticks, like little wooden twigs. But when I was grabbed from behind and a bag was stuffed over my head, then I stopped laughing at their chosen weapon. Thanks for reading and please post a comment i really want to hear from you guys. also if you want to read more you can read my other post called A Phoenix Sister. its a character story. :voldie1: |
Chapter 6 Chapter 6 The bag was still over my head. that’s never a good sign. “Mr. Weasley, would you kindly remove our guest’s blindfolds,” a deep, calm voice asked. As the darkness disappeared, I took in every detail; Percy was strapped into a chair next to me, I was surrounded by people that looked all high and mighty in the chair-ish thrones surrounding us, and I was still wearing my camp half-blood neon orange t-shirt. “Now, this trial for underage magic, resisting arrest, and an attack of a certified auror,” the grown man who spoke before went on. He was of dark complexion and was wearing what looked like traditional African robes ( I got an A+ on my report of ancient wardrobe). “What are you people talking about?” Percy asked in his weird voice which goes higher when he asks a question. “We have done nothing, but try to defend ourselves. You try being taken away by someone you don’t know or trust. See if you don’t throw some punches,” His comment raised chuckles from the crowd. I taught him well. “Yeah,” I agreed. “People, people please, don’ t believe them. I have evidence that they were using magic that we have never encountered. Who’s here to say that it’s not dark magic?” the bowler hat guy asked/ persuaded. And according to his name plate he was Mr. Cornelius Fudge. Well… now I’m really hungry. “Well,” I added apprehensively “I’m here to testify.” Now the crowd ,of what seemed to be judges, was laughing out loud. Who knew you robe-wearing weirdoes had a sense of humor. The last sentence I said out loud. I glanced around at the group of people here to see if we were a danger when the real danger was opening up the door…right…now. Thanks for reading and if you want to read more of my fan fics look at A Phoenix Sister (a character story) |
hehe love it PAMS oh and did you mean Aphrodite goddess of love and beauty not Amphitrite????? |
Chapter 7 Chapter 7 A trait we half-bloods share is that we have ADHD, and this comes in handy when we fight monsters. This is not so helpful when a monster is opening the door, and you’re strapped down. The empousae slide the stone door open and slithered in. And I mean slithered. She kept switching from blonde schoolgirl to horrible monster in a way that made my eyes water. “Hello fish,” she hissed. “What are you doing so far from home?” She had everyone on their feet except the ones who could do something. I tried to slam my chair to the ground and break it. All that did was a big fat nothing since it was bolted to the floor! “Hand me my knife,” I whispered to Harry. “If you don’t it will kill us,” I pleaded. “LET ME OUT OF HERE!!” Percy yelled as he struggled with his bindings. His chair was shaking with his effort, but it must have been reinforced with magic. “Awww…. Look who’s so helplessss,” the empousae hissed as she stroked his cheek. I knew that these people weren’t going to do anything to help when I felt a cold object slide right into my tied up hands. “ Thank you,” I whispered to Harry. I slashed open my bindings and leaped to my feet. Sending the bronze knife flying. With my one shoot I managed to pierce the empousae’s head which exploded in a shower of golden sparks. I walked right over to Percy and ripped off his bindings. “It seems we have much to learn about our world,” a man said. As I looked over to where he stood I noticed his name plate. “Thank you minister,” I answered. “Admitting you don’t know is the first step to gaining knowledge. Or at least that’s what my mom says.” Thanks for reading. Sorry about any errors in spelling or grammar. Post a comment PLEASE :) |
hehe I like it a lot, Kingsley finally he has some sense knocked into him that they are not a threat |
Chapter 8 Chapter 8 After the empousae attack things started calming down; some ministry workers went and fetched our bags, a crazy 17 year old who addressed herself as Ginny Weasley ( And Harry’s girlfriend) led me to a bathroom with SHOWERS, and later we were brought to a large inn known as The Leaky Cauldron. “Nice place,” Percy noticed right as we walked in the door. They obviously felt they owed us after false imprisonment. “Yeah,” I agreed as I flicked on the chandelier lights. “No monsters, talk about class,” I joked. We looked at each other before all our hours of fighting caught up with us. We just started flat out laughing. We stood there in the doorway laughing and crying (Ha Ha Ha Percy cried too!!!). “I’m so tired,” Percy admitted wiping the tears from his eyes (Ha Ha Ha still laughing about that). He didn’t have to tell me twice. * * * The light poured in from the window opposite my bed. It was really annoying. Percy was still asleep but I needed to talk to someone to sort this out. I looked back at our room as I wondered out the door. It was still pretty neat, but who knows how long we were going to stay there. Percy rolled over in his sleep and I questioned leaving without him, because we rarely come back to the same place. I kept walking….right into a sliver-ish blond haired boy. “Hello?” Thanks for reading :) |
Chapter 9 Chapter 9 I turned around and slammed right into someone. That someone had silver-ish blond hair, grey eyes, and the palest completion I have ever seen. “Hello?” I managed to stutter out. He however seemed to be so calm that he helped me up and put his hand on my back insisting we sit down to talk. “Listen I should probably go,” I jumped right up once we sat down. “Why?” he asked. “Oh you’re uncomfortable because you don’t know my name. My name is Draco Malfoy, and I’ll be returning back to Hogwarts soon to finish up my 7th year. We all got interrupted, but I’m sure you know about that,” he flashed a blindingly bright smile and I was thankful I hadn’t eaten because I probably would have puked on him. I wish I had. “No,” I said. “I didn’t know about any of this. Percy and I were just forcibly brought here without warning,” his smile faded. “So you’re a mudblood?” Draco asked. His stood up and flung his chair behind him. “I shouldn’t waste time with such filth!” I reached down to my belt and held my knife with a death grip. “Malfoy!” the crowd shouted. Mudblood must be quiet an insult. “What did you just call her?” Percy yelled. The crowd was now completely silent. “Malfoy you ferret, these people aren’t even wizards,” Harry Potter called from across the pub. “They were brought here TO find out what they are. Also,” he added. “You might not want to insult someone holding a knife. Just saying,” When Harry stopped talking a pulled out my knife and held it just high enough to catch some light. Percy did the same with riptide. “We know who and what we are. Its you people that are clueless, and insist on holding us against our will,” I pointed out. “What are you then?” Draco asked with a smug little smirk on his face (I wish I could just punch it off). “Demigods,” Percy and I chorused. Thanks SO MUCH for reading! All ONE-THOUSAND of you!!! Thanks again :serpent: |
Chapter 10 Chapter 10 The initial reaction to Percy telling everyone we were demigods was pretty expected. “WHAT?” Draco came right up to me and grabbed me shoulder and asked, “What the hell is a demigod?” I took his arm and very gracefully threw him over my shoulder. He flew backwards and landed on a table. It was awesome. “A demigod is a child of a mortal and of a God,” Percy explained calmly. Funny he wasn’t so calm when he was first hearing about this. “What Gods?” Harry asked. They all began to walk up to us; Harry, Draco, a bushy haired girl, and a blonde haired girl with eyes that seemed to be lost in the clouds. “The Greek Gods,” I answered. “You know like Zeus, Aphrodite, Poseidon, and Athena,” I shot a glance at Percy who was pretty close to laughing out loud. “If you know the myths then I should tell you that they are true,” Percy recapped riptide and I put my knife back into it’s pouch. “They’re as crazy as Luna,” Draco insulted. “Hey,” the blonde girl who I assume is Luna cried. “Why are you all so surprised?” she asked. “Magic is just as much in their blood as in ours,” “I…..don‘t understand” the bushy haired girl stuttered, but she regained confidence. She whipped out here wand, “Get McGonagall here. NOW!” Thanks for reading :) leave a comment |
love it McGonagall I wonder what part she will play |
Awesome story! You should press double enter for each paragraph so it is easier to read though BTW. Great story. The plot is pretty original too it seems. Good job! :) |
Chapter 11 Chapter 11 Everyone in the room rushed out the double doors and searched the rooms till they found one with a fireplace. Percy and I were dragged along on this insane ride….we were not dragged nicely. “Come on,” the girl called Hermione yelled and Draco poured green dust into my hand. “Listen I want you to say ‘McGonagall’s Office’ and throw the powder down. Ok?” I immediately nodded and then elbowed Percy until he muttered something. I gripped the dust and walked into the flames. Percy jumped right next to me. “McGonagall’s Office!” we yelled together but just before we left the rest of the group disappeared in a large “CRACK,” After what seemed like seconds we landed in a place furnished with ancient furniture, a grandfather clock, and our group along with a stern looking woman. “Explain yourselves,” she ordered and so we listened. We told them the basic rundown that we would tell a new demigod. However we also told about a prophecy that instructed us to come here and everything that had happened since the plane landed. “See,” Hermione flicked her wrist at us like we did something wrong. She also sounded incredibly annoying. “We can’t send them back to where they came from and we can’t legally hold minors when they haven’t done anything wrong,” “Miss Granger, I am well aware of the situation,” she must be a teacher. “They can come to Hogwarts and we will have an entire staff including myself teaching them,” told you she was a teacher. “All of you will also be attending so you don’t have to take my word for it,” The room nodded. “We should probably tell you that many more demigods will most likely follow us to um….Hogwarts,” Percy warned. “That is no problem. The school had hold thousands of people,” Ron replied. “Well,” Percy and I admitted. “We also attract some….” Percy stopped talking but I figured I should let them know. “We attract monsters,” Harry Potter nodded as if he was attacked every week. Was he? Thank you SO much for reading and for posting encouraging comments. Sorry about any grammar or spelling mistakes. I'll post more soon promise :) |
Chapter 12 Chapter 12 We were on the train heading to Hogwarts and I could not have been more nervous. Staying in one place is a terrible idea for any demigod, but these people could be traitors. Worse than that we still have no choice but to befriend them (remind me to yell at Rachel). The train took an unexpected swerve and Percy slid down the bench in our compartment. Knocking Harry into Hermione, Hermione into Ron, and I just started laughing. Why shouldn’t I? “Listen, we are going to have our heading of houses explain…this…..to everyone. So until then just lie low, and please don’t do anything stupid,” Hermione patronized…again. “Yes,” Percy exclaimed sarcastically, “because we’re really good at that,” he shot me a crooked smile. The door slammed open and a scared little kid peeked through. “Sorry,” he was stuttering, “she…she told me to come find you,” I leaned back and gripped my knife. I was already planning an escape route. “They’re HERE,” the kid called down the hall. I heard the familiar sound on Percy uncapping Riptide as a woman gently pushed the child aside. “Hello dears,” a pink clad woman whispered in a fake soprano. “I’m sorry to barge in, but unfortunately like I told you before naughty children deserve to be punished,” Thanks so much for reading, and i am so sorry i didn't post sooner. :*ops: |
Another 2 fantastic chapters! Well done! |
Chapter 13 Chapter 13 Well, she didn’t grow fangs and attack us which, I have to say, is the plus side. The down side is that she is eviler than all the hellhounds every born combined. She started badgering on about how lucky we were to have been found and taken in. “Now you will, of course, have different classes than the other students but that is because of magical ability. As you know was creatures of near human intelligence you will be held responsible for your actions,” Umbridge smiled and I wanted to slap that sickly sweet smile off her ugly toad face. “As creatures of near human intelligence!!!!!!” I screamed. Percy and I jumped out of our seats. “YOU’RE the idiot! You know SwEaRiNg about us!” my swearing at her began to attract every person on this train. “You don’t know who we are! You don’t know what we’ve been through! You haven’t got a clue about the HORRORS that we have seen!” I began swearing at her in rapid Greek and I knew I was the only one that understood what the hell I was saying. “Listen here miss,” the toad-faced-vomit-inducing-aggravating-excuse-for-a-person said as calm as can be, “We have all had hard times….” I stopped her right there, “You never had to watch your brothers and sisters die right next to you! You never had to declare your friend dead! You never had to have everyone around you tell you to give up on someone whom you owe everything to! You never had to watch someone take their own life for the greater good of humanity. You never had to know that you best friend was destined to be slaughtered and that there was NOTHING you could do about it,” I was on the verge of tears and Percy was a solemn figure next to me emphasizing the misery we had to live through. “Near human intelligence?” I asked to the crowd. “My mother is Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, and the gods are real,” I finished. I took out my knife and threw it onto the ground where it stuck, shimmering. Percy brandished Riptide and he threw his shield face down so that everyone could see the glimmering bronze. “The legends are real?” a child from the crowd asked. Percy and I nodded. “Greek myths rarely have a happy ending,” the girl informed us. “We’ve seen that,” Percy replied. Thanks so much for reading and please post a comment. i love hearing advise. |

I am SO sorry that i haven't been posting. I've been working on school, and this play i'm in, and my other stories and i'm SO sorry that i let this one take a backseat. I've started the next chapter and you can hope to see it soon, but i just keep getting stuck on the sorting hat song. (yes Percy and Annabeth have finally made it to Hogwarts) Thanks for reading :) |
Chapter 14 Percy and I were waiting outside the great hall and both of us were amazed by the pure size of this place. Although awed or not we still were eavesdropping. Turns out that this place is not easily surprised. I heard McGonagall tell them the basic stories about the gods. I personally think that it worked but I knew that we weren’t exactly gonna be buddy, buddy anytime soon. I could hear someone singing in there. that Voldemort fell, and ended our fright But now more trouble has found its way here Allies have come with so there’s less things to fear So listen all you smart mouths cause we’re going to need them soon They will come with many problems and need our help too So all of you who are new to Hogwarts and to those of you who aren’t There will come a time where we will rise or fall apart So stick together and fight And try not to rip anyone’s throat out. These people might bite At the end of the weird singing there was dead silence and it could either go one of two ways; they could believe us or they could be stubborn and ignorant until a monster comes and proves our point. They murmured agreements and McGonagall opened the door for us. Unfortunately there was the Minotaur with a bunch of other Minotaurs waiting on the other side. Leave it to one of Percy’s enemies to show up when we don’t need them. Thank you so much for reading and I am SOOOOOO sorry that i didn't post sooner. Please leave a comment and again i am so sorry |
Great chapter! |
Chapter 15 “Hey! Watch out!” Percy called out. He raced forward fight past hundreds of kids. He pulled out Ripetide and that only caused the kids to go into a bigger panic. “Get out of the way!” I grabbed my knife and began fighting everything with horns. Once I got into the ‘fighting groove’ Percy and I became a two person army. “Look out!: I yelled to a few teenagers who thought they could face one of the minotaurs. I raced over to the idiots. I leaped over one of the giant tables to get to them before I sliced the minataur and turned to face them. “Be useful, and get those kids out of here,” “Annabeth,” Percy finished slicing off one of the last monsters. “I know,” I raised my arm so that the last monster ran into it. “Is anyone hurt?” I yelled out so that all the students in the hall could hear me. “Me,” someone called. I ducked down and sure enough a young girl was hiding down there clutching her ankle. “Come on,” Percy helped her up and she nearly fell from trying to put weight on her foot. “Can you move it?” he asked her. “Yeah,” “ Well,” I looked down at her foot, “Its probably just a sprain…maybe a small break. Nothing major,” “Who are you?!” a tall girl with blue robes inquired. “You can’t just waltz in here and…” “and… save you? Percy hand me my bag. We should get that ankle in brace or something,” I began to open my bag when a fat, old man ripped it out of my hands. “We can take care of her,” he instructed. “Please, Miss Robin, would you escort her to Madam Pomfrey,” The two girls hobbled off. “Now I assume you are our guests. May I ask your names?” “May we ask…” I held up my hand, silencing Percy. “Percy be nice. Annabeth Chase, and you are…?” “Oh silly me, I am Professor Slughorn. I teach Potions here at Hogwarts. I assume we’ll have time to discuss classes later,” he seems all right, but he reminds me of those collectors when they see something they want. “Sure,” Percy agreed. He nudged a broken golden plate with his foot. “How did they get in here?” “Oh, who knows, but listen here dear boy these things always happen here at Hogwarts . So if you have any questions you can come to me. You know what, just come to me whenever you need to talk,” Slughorn instisted. “You always have murdering, cold-blooded, ancient monsters attacking your students,” Percy and I chorused. “Well….” He flustered. “Yeah, you should clean up this mess before someone else gets hurt,” I instructed. I looked around at the students to see if any of them would listen. That’s when I felt a tug on my arm. I turned around in time to catch Percy who was now unconscious. Why does he always have to feint after fighting? Thanks so much for reading, and i am so sorry for not posting sooner :*ops: |
Chapter 16 Chapter 16 I leaned over Percy as he slept in a hospital bed. I wasn’t the only one; a ton of people came to look at us freaks. “Why did he feint?” another random kid asked. They all looked the same to me; the only one I bothered learned the name of was the girl with the sprained ankle (Alyson Smith), and that’s only because she said thank you. “Because he was tired,” I answered, “If he fights that hard he has to take the time to rest,” as I said it I reached over and shook his shoulder for the umpteenth time. “Then how come you didn’t feint?” Malfoy asked. He leaned over me as I turned to face him. “Because I have been fighting a lot longer than he has, and because my fighting was natural. His was because of magic,” that was really the only way I could explain what happened when he swam in the river Styx. “All of you out!” Madam Pomfrey yelled once again. The crowd moaned and a few even left, but most of the mass stayed. “Miss,” she addressed me, “please allow me to give him the potions he needs,” “He doesn’t need anything you’re going to give him,” I reached back and through the mass to grab my backpack. Inside of it was a silver time of ambrosia, and half a can of nectar. “Come on Sea Weed Brain,’ I tipped the nectar into his mouth. Almost immediately he began coughing, the golden nectar spewing out of his mouth. The students quickly retreated another few feet. “Here,” Madam Pomfrey coaxed. She held a glass bottle to his lips, which I quickly snatched. I broke off a piece of ambrosia, and placed it into his mouth. “How dare you doubt my medical opinion!” she scorned. “He did need any medicine!” I yelled back at her. “He feinted because that’s what he does,” I zipped the godly food back into my bag. “So he’s a coward,” Ferret-face insulted while his goons sneered. I stood up off the bed, “He is the bravest person I know, which is saying something. He willingly puts himself in danger in order to right wrongs, and save innocent lives,” I pushed hard on Percy’s shoulder until his eyes flicked back open, “If he’s a coward, I’d hate to see how the rest of the world looks compared,” “Who are all of you?” Percy asked to the crowd. He pulled himself up, and out of bed. “You shouldn’t be standing!” Madam Pomfrey cried, but Percy just kept putting on his shoes. “I am fine,” he assured her as he walked over to the bed where Alyson lay. “Are you ok?” he asked her much to the students surprise (They all gasped like he had just ordered the sea food special in front of his dad). She was pretty surprised as well, but she maintained her composure by actually looking at him with her violet eyes, “I’m fine,” she squeaked out. She started fumbling with a lock of hair that had fallen out of her golden braid. “Good,” a booming sound came from the giant double doors shutting, and who would walk through those doors but Harry, Ron, and Hermione. “Alright all of you,” Ron yelled, “Get to class,” most of the kids grudgingly marched to their class rooms. All except Ferret and Ferret’s friends. “Bye Percy,” Alyson called as she followed after her fellow classmates. “Bye Annabeth,” We both waved back at her. “Professor McGonagall wants these two to have a tour,” Hermione told Madam Pomfrey. She gave us a bad look, like she hated missing her classes (Who hates skipping class?). “I’ll show them around,” Malfoy took some more steps closer to me. He flashed a bright white smile which was more like a sneer. “I was actually going to show them around,” Harry injected, “I’ve got the rest of the day off,” he took slow steps forward, “and I doubt you do,” “You don’t know everything Scar Face,” Ferret took some steps towards him. “You can both show them around,” Madam Pomfrey said as she herded us to the door. “Don’t cause any trouble,” she warned as she slammed the doors shut. Why would there be trouble? So what do you think? I'm sorry that i didn't post soon! Just wondering but how many of you has read the Heroes of Olympus series? I personally loved it. |
Chapter 17 Chapter 17: WHY?!?! I held onto my backpack with a frightening grip. Here we were...at the top of the astronomy tower, the wind sent my teeth chattering while it barely bothered Harry and Malfoy. "Love this view," Malfoy practically purred. The hormone driven school idiot took another step closer to me. "We should go back down," Percy muttered. When we first got up here he nearly passed out, but I carefully pointed out the Black Lake (Percy always feels better near the ocean and the Black Lake is HUGE). "No, its easier to show you the grounds from up here," Harry leaned over the iron fence that was supposed to keep people from falling off. Percy wasn't convinced of its...security. "Over there is the Forbidden Forest," he pointed over to a group of trees that looked like something Hades would plant. "Don't ever go in there. There are monsters in there that would scare a giant," "I don't want to see that pretty face ruined," Hormone-crazed-ferret-idot reached his hand up to my cheek, but he didn't touch me. I grabbed his hand with my finger nails and with my other hand i drew out my knife. "Don't EVER touch me!!!!" i threatened. I pressed my knife against his pale flesh, but i didn't draw blood. "I have a boyfriend," I said calmly as i lowered my blade and let go of his now bleeding hand. "And her boyfriends got a sword," Percy growled. Ripetide gleamed in the light of the setting sun, and i knew that Percy wouldn't really hurt Ferret. "Don't you dare ever try anything remotely like this again!" "Don't worry about it," Malfoy's velvety voice didn't cover up his obvious lies. He took several steps back with his hands in the air, and his eyes never left mine. "So much for not getting into trouble," Harry grumbled. The light was fading fast, and Percy and I intuitively knew that we both wanted to go back inside. "Are you gonna tell your precious Daddy about this?" Harry pushed himself off the railing. "No," Ferret's face fell, "You know my dad's in Azkaban. Not that I'm on speaking terms with him," I felt my pulse race and i leaned back over the edge of the tower. I think i'm going to be sick! Not being on speaking terms with your dad....well now there's something here i can relate to. "Annabeth," Percy placed his hand on my shoulder, "You ok?" he asked sincerely. "What's wrong?" I wiped the tears out of my eyes and off my cheek. "Nothing," i lied. Yup...ITS A CLIFFY!!!! Muahaha!!! Happy Holidays to everyone and maybe *crosses fingers* i'll be able to post soon. SORRY i just haven't been on a schedule exactly. I'll really try to post soon. Have Merry Christmas/ New Years/ any other holiday you celebrate that are coming up! |
Chapter 18 Chapter 18: Yup...they hate us "This is the common room," Harry led us through a trick portrait and on the other side was a warm, cozy room lined with comfy sofas. WOW! How can this not be a trap? "We...ummm....Professor McGonagall....doesn't quiet know what house to put you in so you can just float where ever you want," "Where are the other common rooms?" Percy asked. I saw his fingers flick to Ripetide as laughter rang out from upstairs. "Technically, I'm not supposed to know that," Harry shifted uncomfortably, like we were gonna have a problem breaking some rules. "Just ask other kids from the different houses. When they trust you, they'll tell you," "And when they don't?" I dropped my backpack onto a fluffy red couch, and Percy trudged over to an overly large armchair. "Well...we have to get along like in the prophecy," Harry seemed rather ignorant about the whole double-meaning-part of prophecies. "Not necessarily," i said as i kicked off my mud encrusted sneakers. "according to the prophecy we would be sent 'through hells door' if we didn't make allies," "Or," Percy added, "We just need to make allies which could be about two people," He flopped down onto his seat. "I think we can find two people that trust us," "Doubt it," Ron came through the portrait hole holding onto Hermione's hand. "Yeah," she echoed, "and besides allies are people you trust as well," she leaned close to Ron and kissed him on the cheek. Then she flounced out to where i guess she had a nice bed waiting for here. "Do you trust anyone here?" "Maybe that Allyson girl," Percy turned towards me as if awaiting my judgment (I've trained him so well). "Yeah, whats her story?" I asked the two boys. Harry let out a huge yawn, and Ron shook his head to keep awake. "Not much," Ron muttered. "She's only 12, but there's always been some teasing about the fact that she doesn't know who her father is," Ron walked off to the left. "Oh yeah, and I heard some 3rd years picking on her because she has ADHD and dyslexia," Merry (late) Christmas!!!! I hope that you liked it, and i finally posted like i said i would :) I hope you all have a happy New Years! |
Chapter 19 Chapter 19: Te he he I woke up in the morning at pretty much 7 o'clock, but that was because I was freaked out at a bunch of little kids staring at us like a funny zoo exhibit. Maybe Percy was on the same thought, but I knew...or....just thought that messing with people would be fun. He he he! "Come on mate," a rough english accent woke us up, "just take....her hat!" the booming laughter rang out through the room. I kept my eyes shut just to see where this was going. I take it that Percy was keeping his eyes shut too because no one was shutting up. They kept going on and on about how we were weirdos and that they didn't think we were up to any good. "Fine," a boy agreed, "I'll just take the hat and put it back. I don't want her mad (smart boy)," i felt a hand reach across the couch. There was a feint smell of bacon so i guess he had just gotten back from breakfast. Just when he passed the point of no control i grabbed his arm and yanked my knife out of its pocket. "Good morning to you too," i let go of his arm and gently pushed his back to his friends. "Don't worry," i put the bronze knife away, "I'm not going to hurt you guys," I stood up. "Is there breakfast?" i asked, as i slung my bag over my shoulder. "Yeah, they're also handing out schedules...are you really this calm?" a girl asked. There was a group of about a dozen kids clustered around the room. "Of course," i responded. "Is he still asleep?" i asked. Percy was snoring in the armchair, and two kids were taking turns poking his with their wands. "Percy!" the kids backed off. "Woah," he jumped up. "....hi?" "Hi!" the girls in the group giggled. Ha ha ha i would SO tear them apart. "Do you want to come down to the Great Hall?" "Sure," "Yeah, maybe you can help us mess with Umbridge!!!" the hat-stealer-boy exclaimed. "Who's Umbridge?" Percy asked. The Hogwarts kids led us out the common room. "Is she the.....?" "toad," they all echoed. "What's wrong with her?" I asked. I absolutely hated that toad-faced-vomit-inducing-aggravating-excuse-for-a-person! "She used to work her a couple years ago, and she totally took over. She had favorites, Slytherins, and her enemies, Harry Potter and his followers. Hopefully we can get her out soon," The girl finished her story and the next boy was ready to jump in. "I've been talking to the rest of our year, all houses, and no one wants her. Not even Malfoy's goons want her," "I'v dealt with some bad teachers, how bad can she be?" Percy asked as we came to the great doors of the Great Hall. "How bad can who be, sweetie?" So what do you think? I'll try to post soon, but i'm not sure (finals). Post a comment PLEASE! :voldie1: |
Chapter 20 Chapter 20: Why there's nothing to see here Well done Percy, our powers of being at the wrong place at the wrong time have certainly improved. "ummm....no one Professor," very good Percy, deny deny deny. "Well, Mr.?" "Jackson," Percy answered as the Gryffendors all cleared out. "Well, Mr. Johnson I hope you have come to enjoy Hogwarts," her sugary fake voice spelled out, but her wording! W O W ! Now if her mustache was another inch longer I might have to start calling her Mr. D. "Yeah, just like home," Yes, full of backstabbing lunatics. Percy returned her completely forced smile. Sunlight streamed out of the near windows and i could hear kids laughing out on the grounds. "Why Professor," the idot-scumbag-formily-known-as-Ferret strutted right over and into our conversation. "Unfortunately I have to borrow these two now," he lied, and like any slippery demon she took her leave. "Oh, not a problem I was just chatting with our 'guests'. Here are your schedules," she handed us our own timetable, "Now you might be behind of others your age, but thats only because they've spent years studying before you even got here. Also you will only be taking courses where magic isn't really necessary such as history of magic and ancient runes. To WITCHES and WIZARDS these are very basic studies so we'll see how YOU do," "Yes, i can't wait to study ancient runes because as children to the Gods we just have talent for their language," i shoved that in here face, cutting her off the mindless babble. "As for magic, we all have more individual powers so I'm glad you were so kind as to make sure we don't have to focus on 'generic' tricks," i flashed her a smile before she trotted away. "Annabeth, what the heck?" Percy sounded annoyed. "I'm sorry, she was baiting me," it was true her comments sounded more like challenges,"i shouldn't have. It was stupid, and speaking of stupid can i help you with anything?" i asked the Ferret. "Actually i came to ask you something," he tossed his blonde hair out of his face before bringing a sleek broomstick from behind his back. "Quittage is a huge tradition here and our only sport. I was hoping to introduce you to it," "So it wasn't just the wicked witch of the west," i commented, but this cleaning utensil looked, well, hardcore. "Here," Ferret-face shoved the thing into Percy's arms, "You can go first, i'm sure its one of your 'talents'," he taunted. "Actually i think i'll pass. I'm more of a ground kinda guy," Percy laced his fingers through mine, and smiled even though he had just been metaphorically slapped. "Okay," he ripped the flying machine out of his grip and tossed it gently to me. "Lets see what you can do," And since i had just taken the bait to a challenge moments before i once again fell for it, "Sure," We all walked out onto the grounds and Percy (cause he was still holding my hand) inched us towards the Black Lake. The long grass was ripply in the gentle breeze, and i was moments away from actually flying by myself. A crowd was beginning to cluster around us, and i got the weirdest sense of deja vu. It was just like one of the countless times a kid had gotten a freakish idea and everyone gathered around to watch him/her break at least all the bones in their body. Yep just like that. I hope you liked it, and i'm sorry but i know i won't be able to post soon. |
Chapter 21 Chapter 21: The rise and FALL of idiots I gripped the handle of the broomstick until my knuckles turned white, and i hadn't even taken off yet! "OK, Annabeth, i KNOW this isn't a good idea," Percy pleaded. He was a couple feet away from me on the inner ring of the crowd that had formed to watch "the freak" me, try to fly. "Its okay, you'd catch me right?" i teased and only mildly covered up my fear. The kids around me started getting antsy, murmuring and fidgeting, the waves kept crashing onto the shore. By crashing i do mean an earsplitting roar that was certainly not being calmed down a Mister Percy Can't-Stand-Anything-About-Flying. I could hear my heart racing as it send blood to pound into my ears. I am not a doctor (not technically) but if i had to diagnose a panic-attack it would be this. A thought raced through my head "i didn't have to do this" I could just swing my leg off of this broomstick and walk away. The oxygen started coming to me easier, a sense of calm starting fighting the adrenaline in my system.........but the adrenaline won...... My legs kicked off the ground hard, but it was my sub-conscience that forced me to launch myself into the air. It was the wind that whipped away my startled scream away, but it was me who enjoyed it. I didn't actually look down but i knew that the ground was fading fast. However i only looked up. I saw nothing but the sky. Its pure blueness had only ever been something that was used in metaphors i had read while being comfortably shaded from the rays that had been deemed harsh, but were the same rays that warmed me now. The word "sky" was a term for something out of reach, and often sinister. I thought of Zeus. How could he not have rejoiced when having learned that this place was his own. I thought of the well-dressed man with anger issues i had once thought him of. Somehow, this place i am SOARING through now exempts him from doing wrong. But the tiny voice of reason peaked its head out. What about Ms. di Angelo, Nico's mom, he killed her. What about Artemis and her little daughter Lily. Ever shred of common sense told me that....that he would kill them for breaking an oath, and for merely being the outcome of that. I did NOT forgive him for that, and i wouldn't ever!!! My brain leaped out of that adrenaline induced zone, and back into reality. The sky was beautiful though, and riding a magic broomstick was unworldly. I looked closer at the varnished wood, and the gentle strum of its magic underneath. Thats when it shuddered and hung still. For a moment i wasn't moving, but a second later gravity was making me f a l l thanks for reading. i know in the middle i was starting to get a little bit to much there, but i like it. Please tell me what you think |
That chapter was amazing! When is the next chapter coming out? I love the story! |
Chapter 22 Chapter 22: two against a lot Percy's POV Annabeth was up in the air, a lone speck in the blue sky. "Wow! I didn't think she'd actually go," the blonde jerk announced to the crowd. The goons around him laughed. "Most people wouldn't pass up a chance to fly," i shot back. The crowd took that well, the separate cliques broke away and immediately started to talk. I guess me standing up was...unusual. "Oh, and i guess it had nothing to do with this," he held up an empty test tube. His 'friends' tossed the clear bootle around till someone chucked it towards me. I dug into my back pocket and pulled out riptide. I twirled the pen between my fingers. "What did you do?!?!" i threatened with steel in my voice. "Its just a potion, a calming drought" a tall boy in the back admitted. "But she didn't eat or drink anything," i reasoned. It surprised me how much Annabeth had rubbed off on me. "The handle on the broomstick," Malfoy said. "I figure if she did have the guts to go up in the air, she should be a little scared. Nothing freaks out a girl like that than being out of control," "You DRUGGED her!!!!" i yelled! I chucked the glass vial at his face. "She's thousands of feet up in the air and you want her to be out of CONTROL!!!!! You are so stupid, evil, thick headed,..." "AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" a scream pierced through the air. "HEEELLLLPPPPP!!!!!! a dark shadow fell out of the clouds. A whisper escaped my lips,"Annabeth," I pushed past the students and ran. I raised my hands above my head and called to the water. The waves grew in size and i could feel the drain that it was taking but i kept on. The crowd rushed and ran, but i couldn't bring myself to focus on anything else but saving Annabeth. The water was nearing stories high, and the screaming were getting louder and louder. I had a sudden thought, hitting the water from that high up would be like hitting concrete. Water, catcher her i commanded, and then Annabeth fell into the wall of water. Her yelling stopped when a thin fountain came and plucked her up. It coiled around her waist like a rope and slowly lowered her to the ground. "ANNABETH!!!" i sprinted towards her. All the occupants of Hogwarts came and ran behind me. I crouched down next to her,"Are you ok," i asked her. "Zues wasn't happy," she responded handing me the broomstick whose levitational spell had spontaneously given up. For once the Lord of the Sky and i had something in common, neither of us were thrilled. Sorry for not posting sooner. This is my second time typing this so its kinda not that great, but yeah what do you think? |
That was amazing, what happens next? youve got me hooked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Chapter 23 Chapter 23: I get a call from my friend the physic Annabeth's POV The hospital wing's ceilings needed a new coat of paint. How did i know that? I knew from staring at it for hours. How did i accomplish this, well my bones ached, i was in shock, and i think i may be high (off ferret-no-brains potion. i would never purposely kill brain cells). After i had nearly fallen to my death, i had been 'escorted' to this...place. Percy's water magic thingy had saved my life but they had left a massive belt of bruises around my waist. He had then proceeded to force feed me so much nectar and ambrosia that smoke had started rolling out from my ears. Percy was now chillin' in a chair next to my bed. Our bags were slung across my feet, and my cellphone in my hand. It pale blue light showed me that at 12:42 Percy was still insisting that he wasn't tired. Personally i think it was because he didn't feel safe with us split up. Neither did i. * chirp chirp * My phone vibrated slightly and let off the only ringtone i liked. The grasshopper; perfect for camouflage. Percy's eyes shot open and he nearly tumbled out of his chair. "Who...who is it?" he asked, now kneeling at my head. "Hello...?" i asked tentatively. "OH THE GODS!!!!!!!!! I just had the most terrible vision. I saw you, Annabeth...Wait are you Annabeth?" rapid English seemed to be pouring out of my phone. "Yes, its me, Annabeth. Who are you?" i asked but then realized what a stupid question it was. What other physics did i know, "Rachel, what did you see?" "You...falling out of the sky at, like, a bazillion miles per hour," Rachel now sounded close to tears. "Relax, that happened but i'm fine," i tried to sit up more but my ribs screamed in protest. "Ok, thats good, but listen I'm supposed to pass on a message from....." the line went dead and my phone clicked off. Its light faded even though i had it on for barely a second and it was fully charged. "Rachel," i whispered despite it being useless. "Percy, what do you think happened?" A grim shadow pulled the door open, "You'll find magic and technology don't work alongside here," Thanks for reading, i hoped you liked it :) |
That chapter was great, post another one very soon! |
Chapter 24 Chapter 24: One ally is better than none A pretty brunette slid in through the massive double doors, it was the friend of Harry's, "You know you never learned my name," she strolled up my bed, "Hermione Granger," she held out her hand. Percy and I shook hands with her. "Percy Jackson," "Annabeth Chase," Hermione pulled up a nearby chair. "Can I ask what you're doing up so late?" "I know what its like," she informed us as the September air hung warm around us. Percy sat up straight in his chair," I don't follow...." "I'm a muggle-born. I was brought into this world suddenly too, and I guess I want you to trust me," her words made alarm bells start blasting in my head, but her eyes told us she meant every word. "I can't count the number of times I would have died if my friends weren't there with me. I don't know much about your world, but i would assume the same," "I would love if we could trust everyone like the prophecy says, but I don't even know if i can get people to talk to us," Percy stumbled over the word prophecy, but with his track record i wasn't surprised he didn't like obeying the word of the prophecy. "Sometimes you need a bridge," Hermione stated, "If there's one person on both sides then that would definitely help create only one side," "Are you sure you're not a daughter of Athena," i teased, but then i thought about someone who could be on both sides, "If there was witch who turned out to be a demigod, would that work?" "Of course but how soon can we find one" "A right answer away," and with that a single plan was forged between two bright girls...Percy was there too. I hope you liked it, and i am once again apologizing for not posting sooner. Sorry, but what can you do? What do you think of the story so far? :) |
That was amazing, I cant wait for the next one now! |
Chapter 25: Oh its you again The next morning Hermione, Percy, and I forged ahead to the Great Hall together. I have to tell you it was odd having Hermione with us, but at-least with her here people looked away when you caught them staring at you. "What house is she in?" she asked as we scanned the students enjoying breakfast. "What?....Oh, right, I think Griffen...." you can't deny, Percy puts in effort. "Gryffindor," Hermione and I corrected. Percy blushed a cute crimson. The three of us veered to the far right table, and I looked for a young blonde (and yes i know how strange that sounds). "Allyson!" Percy yelled out as a group of first years turned to look at us. "Could we have a word?" Someone cleared their throat behind us, "Yes i think that is an excellent idea. You four come," the evil Umbridge just never goes away! Thanks for reading and hopefully I'll post more regularly now that school is over but i have said that before ;) |
I love it! |
Chapter 26 Chapter 26: Well, no one asked you 'Professor Umbridge practically dragged Hermione, Percy, Allyson, and I out the Great Hall doors. Outside i was warmly presented with the auroma of freshly mowwed grass, budding flowers, and the sickly, sickly sweet of Umbridge's perfume. "Well, students what do you have to say for yourselves?" she asked with a falsetto that would crack a mirror. "What do you mean? We've done nothing wrong!" Percy insisted as students began to loiter near us. "You were about to cause a spectacle just now. You're lucky i intervened," Umbridge turned to stare down Allyson, "You might want to think of to whom to place your trust," the evil woman looked up at Hermione, "I gave up on you, and you never had a chance," she pointed her chubby finger at Percy and I. My hatred of toads was steadily increasing. "I'll take a chance," Allyson sneered as she slid her way behind Percy's tall stature. "Well, maybe when the Ministry comes to remove these two. They can pick you us as well," she pulled her robes tighter around herself as the wind barely picked up. "Maybe you should come with us," i said. I reached my hand out and pulled her closer to me. "We," I look us at Percy, "believe that you are a demigod, like us," Allyson gasped but stayed otherwise silent. "That's not possible," Our lousy-excuss-for-a-teacher roared, "No such filth is allowed at MY school," "It's not your school!!!" Harry shoved people out of his way as he his way toward our little group. "Silence Potter or I'll have our fair and just Ministry take you away too," she threatened. Harry whipped his wand out, and at that moment I did NOT want to be in his way. "You know 'our' Ministry remembers what it is like to have everyone suddenly against you," his words rang out into the newly formed crowd, and many of the older kids became restless like they remembered being separated and persecuted. Thanks so much for reading and hey look i wasn't too late posting this. I hope you liked it :) |
I absolutally loved it!!! |
Chapter 27 Chapter 27: SHUT UP!!! he he he The foul toad Umbridge was starting to see that she was monstrously outnumbered. She puffed her chest out and we all stood tense. The awkward silence bearing down on us. "Do you really think I'm a demigod?" Allyson asked us. Her bright purple eyes beaming. "Well---" "Impossible," Umbridge interrupted. The kids around us began staring down at their toes in order to give us some measure of privacy, but they were all too curious to actually leave. Percy tried to explain it again," We believ---" "Not possible," She interjected again. Allyson whipped her head back. Her blonde hair narrowly missing us. "Shut UP!!!" She yelled insanely. "You are totally Mr. D's daughter," Percy chuckled. We both saw it from the start; her wine colored eyes, she had no father, and then the slightly unstable nature inherited from the God of Wine. Sorry its a short one, but I plan to post again soon. Tell me, did you guys see who Allyson's father was or were you surprised? Thanks for reading :) |
Wow! I was not expecting that! |
Chapter 28 Chapter 28: Wouldn't that be awesome if Fudge had opened a candy shop? We all stood there awkwardly for a moment until Professor Slughorn came. The somewhat porky teacher was escorting the Minister of Magic, Fudge, and several other thugs. Allyson grabbed onto my arm and then whispered to me, "Those guys are Aurors. We haven't done anything wrong, right?" she sounded scared. "Potter," One of the Aurors called out. He was heavily muscled, but he greeted Harry like an old friend. "Harold," Harry approached the man, and shook his hand. All while straining his neck to look up at the impressive figure. "What are you doing here?" Harry's smile became forced looking. "We have some business to discuss with those two," "Three," Umbridge corrected as she pushed Allyson out in front of Percy and I. "Oh," Harold let out sigh. I guess he was perfectly happy 'talking' to a couple of strange teenagers, but not a young Hogwarts student. "We can 'discuss' everything here," Percy suggested. Fudge scoffed at the idea. "No, I'm sure your parents don't want you out in the cold," he teased. An owl somewhere screeched. Everyone paid no attention to it, but I kinda believe in signs. "They're normally ok with most things," Percy said. The Minister, Kingsley, suddenly became very absorbed with a loose thread from his cloak. "Why is there such a problem with us?" Percy asked. The men then began to advance. "Fudge," Kingsley warned. Many of the students shuffled closer to us. "Minister," Fudge had a brief image of pain across his face, but he quickly regained composure, "The board has already decided," he turned to face the three of us again, "Its best if you came quietly," The Ministry thugs advanced on us faster. i had no idea if celestial bronze worked on wizards, but I really didn't want to find out. "Kingsley," Hermione yelled, "Stop this!" but all he did was wear an expression of complete hopelessness. Percy and I backed away, but Allyson was frozen in fear, "Allyson come on--" Every single person there stop, and stood as still as statues. Above her head was a translucent image of a wine goblet. Dionysus's symbol was floating a foot off of her. The picture was broken up as an arrow shot through it and pierced itself into the stone wall an inch away from Fudge's bowlder hat. Sorry I didn't post as soon as I thought I would, but I'm currently trying to reread ALL of the Harry Potter books by the 15th. So I'm a little busy. Thanks for reading. And also LOOK THREE PAGES!!!!!! |
That dosent matter, ALL of the books! How far have you got so far then? I love the way oyu write. |
Chapter 29: Way to make an entrance A moment after the arrow hit the wall someone screamed, "Portago!" Harry yelled. He pointed his wand at the forest as a blue-green wall formed a barrier. The aurors started yelling for the students to be moved into the castle. "Stop," I called out. The students and teachers hesitated for a moment, "Look at this arrow," I pulled it out of the stone. "It is from those centaurs," Fudge complained. He turned towards the evil toad. "I always complained about them, but no one took my complaints seriously," she jabbed her chubby finger at the forest. "No way," Ron said, "They have always been peaceful," everyone seemed to forget the plan of getting everyone back inside. "It wasn't any centaurs," I held the arrow out to Percy, "look," i instructed. He bent over the small aerodynamic installment. "Its small, silver, moons on it...." Percy look up. "The centaurs are fascinated with the sky," Hermione reported, "Their arrows would be decorated with moons." "No," Percy said, "Harry take down the shield," he suggested. We walked out to the edge of where the spell met the grass. "I can't-" "Trust us," i told him. Harry waved his wand at the forcefield-like thing disappeared. "Thalia," I called out to the trees. "Yes," a tall girl dressed in camouflage and leather walked towards us with a smile on her face. "Hello there," a younger girl flipped out of one of the ancient trees. She was dressed in brown leather armor jeans. Her and Thalia were both clutching their bows with the odd shafts. "Lily?" Thanks so much for reading and I am really sorry for waiting to post. |
I love it! |
Chapter 30 Chapter 30: Well, you can call that awkward I ran up to Thalia and embraced her, "I can't believe you found us!" I squealed. Everyone was inching back inside to resume lessons and spread the word that more of 'them' were here. "It wasn't that hard," Lily explained as she gave me short side hug, "With all the magic in the air we would have had to sprint past it with our fingers in our ears going 'la la la la la'," she looked at Percy with suspicion. "Relax," Thalia gave Percy a giant bear hug, and it seemed to calm Lily down, "How ya doin Percy?" she asked. "Fine," he still seemed a little taken back from her gesture. "Its ok, guys don't, like, burn my eyes out or anything," she punched him on the shoulder, "Cool castle," "Home sweet home," Allyson shrugged, eyeing the bows. "Oh sorry," i apologized, " Thalia, Lily, this is Allyson," I pointed at her even though she was the only person near us, "Daughter of Dionysus, and witch," "Nice to meet you," Thalia said while looking her over. "Thalia," Percy waved his hand in front of her face, "Drop it," she took a step back. "Hey, the offer is always on the table," she gave Allyson a warm smile before taking Lily's hand. "Where can someone get some grub around here?" the pair began to walk back towards the castle. "Think its time for lunch yet?" i asked Allyson. She nodded as she watched Lily skip next to a seemingly serious Thalia, "Ok, lets get something to eat then," The three of us follow the path back to the Great Hall, where Allyson gave a shy smile to some Hufflepuff boy, "What 'offer' was she talking about?" "None that you would be interested in," Percy told her as he took my hand. Thanks for reading and OH MY!!! Its been 30 chapters!!!!! :party6::happy::party6::bubbly: |
Wow, I love it! Congratulations on 30 chapters!!! |
Chapter 31 Chapter 31: Well then The five of us stood in the doorway of the Great Hall. The only reason we weren't scarfing up all the food we could eat right now was because of Thalia and Lily's hesitation. "I don't get it," Allyson whispered to me, "They seem alright with Percy," "Percy is a rare exception," Thalia whispered to her. Allyson jumped. I guess she thought she was quieter than she actually was, "They only reason I'm ok with him is because I knew him before I took the oath," "And I'm ok with him because he seems nice," Lily answered with tone that made me think of that strange Loony girl, "And because Thalia trusts him," she admitted in a more stable manner. "Can't we just pick a spot. I'm STARVING!" Percy complained. "Yeah, yeah," Thalia gripped Lily by the shoulder and steered her to the Gryffindor table. Lily plopped herself down on the very end seat and Thalia sat next to her as a sort of guard. "Percy, sit across from us, and Annabeth, Allyson sit next to me," She really shouldn't have bothered. The students of Hogwarts were giving us a wide berth already. That was until a certain trio sat themselves next to Percy. "Ello," Ron said, his face already stuffed with kipper. Hermione offered us a weak smile as she continued writing on some roll of paper. "Busy morning?" he asked sarcastically. He reached an arm over to basket of roll in front of Lily. Even though he hand was gone in seconds Thalia still glared at him with 'you are deadmeat' eyes. "What did I do?" Harry whined as he stopped himself from reaching across to the butter which was too close to Thalia as her 'murder' eyes. "She doesn't like you," Percy told him as the glasses began to refill themselves. "Oh come on Thalia. He's not going to do anything," I told her as I helped myself to some fresh Pumpkin Juice. "Lily is my charge," she said matter-of-factly. In response Lily rolled her eyes. "I know we're supposed to take care of one another when we're on quests, but seriously Dionysus is not going to care if some boy sits near Lily. He won't care one bit, no offense Allyson, and Chiron probably won't either," I told her annoyed. "Yeah but they didn't entrust Lily into my care. Artemis did," We all stopped thinking about food right then. Thanks for reading, and can you believe it? I posting in a normal time span.:voldie1::eek::voldie1: You must be so proud of me. Just kidding but I hope you liked the post. |
I loved it! Well done!!!!!!!!!! |
Chapter 32 Chapter 32: Speechless Harry (POV) Percy then began to choke on his food. I slapped him hard on the back. "You are in contact with Artemis?" "Artemis who?" Ron asked, his food dribbling down his chin. "No," Annabeth explained, "THE Artemis," she took a sip of her pumpkin juice, "The Goddess of the Hunt," She looked at Ron and I, "Please tell me you know what I'm talking about," "Ummm, no," "She and her immortal huntresses," Thalia, "Ring a bell," I shook my head, "What about her oath to remain a maiden forever?" Lily asked. Everyone stared at her, "Yes I understand that I'm not supposed be alive," she whispered in a mocking tone, "My mother had broken one oath she wasn't going to break another," she started picking at her food. "What other oath?" Percy asked. "The one you made the Gods swear. When you were giving your wish," Thanks for reading. Yes, I know I haven't posted in a while, and I'm sorry that it was short. |
Oh my Gosh! You just crossed Harry Potter nad Percy Jackson! The two best book series' ever! SWEET! |
It dosen't matter how short it is, it was great!!! |
Chapter 33 Chapter 33: Zeus, that would be your que "Your wish?" Ron asked. His expression puzzled. "yeah," I answered, "Sometimes when you do a great service to the Gods they repay you with a wish," as I answered this I continued to stare at Thalia and Lily. How did they have contact with Artemis? "Like a genie?" Harry scoffed. In response I tilted my head back and stared up into the ceiling/sky. "What are you doing?" "Waiting for the lightning," Hermione nearly choked on her juice, and Harry and Ron shared horrified looks. "I'm kidding...slightly," "Relaaxx," Thalia drawled out the syllable, "My dad's just a big ol' kitty tat," "I tink I saw a kitty tat. I did I did see a kitty tat," Percy mimicked leaving Thalia, Harry, Hermione, and my sides aching with laughter. "I don't get it," Lily complained to Thalia. "Come on...Tweetie Bird," Percy insisted, " What did you live in a cave?" "What did you mean by 'my dad'?" Ron asked. His piercing gaze directed towards Thalia. "Zeus, who else?" "What about Zeus?" "My dad," "I'm confused?" "Of course you are? Boys," Thalia shrugged, her eyes rolling. The Great Hall was beginning to empty itself out, but our schedules lay forgotten in our bags. "hey?!?" Percy replied, offended. "oh, right," Thalia straightened up, "You're the exception that makes the rule," "I'm still confused?" Ron's face was scrunched up like a mad five-year-old's. "Why am I not surprised, Weasleby," Thanks for reading :) and yes i know that 'weasleby' is probably spelled wrong but this was a quick post (which has nothing to do with me being lazy :sup: ) I'll try to post more soon :hpbroom: |
It was great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Chapter 34: The Return of the Amazing Bouncing Ferret "Thalia," I called out. My eyes still glaring at the Draco Ferret, "You know how you said if any boy ever gave me trouble you would 'take care' of them?" I asked her. "yes, I know," The air around us was so silent that even the rusty old knife we once found falling apart in the woods could have cut through the tension. "Well, Ferret meet Thalia, and Thalia meet Ferret," "Wow, your name is Ferret. You must really hate your parents," awkward laughter seemed to echo through the nearly empty hall. "You have no idea," Malfoy answered. His calm expression never faltering. He turned to me, "Really, you would have some girl try to kill me?" Lily gasped sharply, "What?" she asked, and I could totally see the Goddess Artemis in her extremely upset eyes. "Bad move," Percy sang, "Thats---" "I know who she is," Draco interrupted. "Professor Umbridge came around to all of us, and told everyone about how unstable your lot can be," "I'd bet all the money in Gringots that everything she told you was a lie," Ron spat out at him. Draco opened his mouth to give some nasty retort but instead turned on his heel and waltzed away. Sorry its a short one, but I hope you liked it. |
It was great! |
Chapter 35 Chapter 35: BE MORE specific We all watched Malfoy walk to the doorway before he turned to face us, "You guys might want to follow me," he instructed. The eight of us hesitantly followed as the ferret boy led us up stairs to a closed door. "Alright Malfoy," Harry charged up next to him, "Whats your angle for this?" Harry demanded. "Nothing new," Blondie retorted calmly as he reached past Harry for the door handle. He opened the door and I heard the room inside grow quiet. Malfoy held the door open for us as we trudged into the stuffed classroom. "Mr. Malfoy," the toad woman reprimanded, "What part of discreet did you not understand in my memo?" "Oh," Malfoy flung himself down into his seat, "These were the 'certain people of unknown loyalty'? You need to be more specific, Professor," the sarcasm was dripping from his voice. Hushed laughed spread throughout the classroom. "Of course, you are right. I'll try to be more 'specific' next time," Umbridge plastered on a fake smile. "We'll just finish up early. Miss Parkinson, could you please erase the board," she instructed. "Gladly," a snotty, Slytherin rushed up an ancient chalk board which read... Dangerous Individuals - violent past - disregard for authority - pathological liars - has evaded the Ministry control DO NOT TRUST The prophecy may have a problem with this last statement. Sorry I have not posted in FOREVER but I've been super busy and I actually ended up typing this chapter 3 times so I mayyyy have been a tad frustrated. Anyways I hope you liked it. |
I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I love it, please post the next chapter soon! It's been too long! |
Chapter 36: 'Shut up' is a very useful phrase I strode up to the front of the classroom. Parkinson stopped erasing the board and watched as I approached her. "Please sit back down,' I told her. She stomped back to her seat. I looked at the board. "Harry," i called out. "yeah?" "Please get rid of all the lies on this board," I instructed. Harry waved his wand and the chalkboard was blank. "Thank you," I pulled up a stool. "What do you know about us?" Harry opened his mouth to answer. "Not you Harry," Malfoy raised his hand, "You're children of the gods," he said with a flourish. The rest of the classroom looked around hesitantly. "You've been trained to kill people," a voice in the backed muttered. "Thats a lie!" Percy yelled. "Calm down Percy," Thalia walked through the isles, Her dagger out. "This is one of our weapons, but this isn't made of any normal materials. Its made of celestial bronze," "What?" the boy in the back asked. "It won't harm mortals," Percy answered. "Only monsters," "You say we've been trained to kill," I pulled out my knife. "Its somewhat true, we've been trained to survive and that includes killing monsters," A collected gasp spread throughout the crowd. "Oh shut up and let her finish," Thalia threatened. "Thanks" I set down my knife on the table and continued to teach them about us. Thanks for reading. I keep having trying to put up chapters but somehow i have created an enemy of my computer so i've been having some troubles. But I'll try to post more soon :) |
Don't worry, It was worth it! |
Hey, i reall ylike your story! I thoght we might have to band together, you know? Last authors in the Cross-over section! Please write more! PAMS!!!!! :) |
Chapter 37 Chapter 37: Do not hold my own words against me even though they're true I was leaning back in my chair. Everyone in the room sprawled out lazily. Every flat surface playing host to a student. "I'm still confused," a disgruntled Hogwarts student complained. "Confused about what even I'M getting this," Percy lifted his head off the floor to make that true comment. "If the Gods are so powerful why do they send you to do their bidding?" "Because they Gods have taken oaths to keep from interfering," Thalia banged her head against the wall to accent her point. "oh," The awkward silence still hung about the room. We had been in this classroom for hours, but students kept pouring in asking the same questions. The only person in her not completely drained was Lily who just seemed to be watching everyone with curiosity just like a kid watching an exhibit at the zoo. "Can be please go now?" Ron said, I think, his face was cupped in his hands so one couldn't be positive. "I thought you were going to stay here until everyone understands," Professor- I'm too tired to make up a funny retort- face retorted. As much as I wanted to and believe me I wanted to, we did actually say we were going to stay here as long as it takes to make sure everyone understands that way we can move forward on trust and friendship. It had seemed like a good idea at the time, but most of us hadn't eaten in a while so we were a little iffy on the whole stand by your word thing. "Does everyone understand?" I asked. I peered over the crowd and was slightly pleased to see that even though they were shooting angry looks they were glaring down Umbridge not any one of us. Muffled agreement came back from the class. "Fan-freaking-tastic" Hello there. Thanks for reading and I know i haven't posted in a while. However....well....i've been busy. I hope you guys have had a freaking fantastic holiday and I hope your New Years is extra fantabulous. Don't ask me why I'm talking like this, for I have no idea :) |
LOL! A happy New Year's to you too! I love the chapter! I think everybody just needs a good nap and some ambrosia before they continue anymore! :) Can't wait for more. PAMS! |
Hey! New reader here! This is a wonderful story. True, I am a bit confused at parts... but that's only because I haven't read the full Percy Jackson series. I've only read the first book. ;) And it's been awhile since I've read it. But, othere than my brain trying to catch up, this is really good! You are a very good writer. -Rachel :) |
Yay you updated!!! Amazing as always! Happy New Year! |
I have just read your story so far! And it is absolutly amazing, update soon! |
Chapter 38 Chapter 38: Thats one way to wake me up The next morning Percy and I awoke on the coach and chair in the Gryffindor common room. At about the same time as anyone in ear shot. "Eh?" i turned over onto my side. Percy jumped up out of his seat his eyes still shut. He rubbed his eyes, "Is something going to kill us?" he asked groggily. "No," I answered. "Good," He plopped down again. I could hear the kids upstairs moving around. A beeping continued to sound. "Where is the sound coming from?" I moaned as I pulled myself into an upright position. "Uggg," a kid came down the steps. He was probably around 11 years old. "What's that?" he said in a little voice. "Sorry kid I don't know," Percy walked around the room searching for the noise. "Come on, Percy," I turned to the boy, "Why don't you go back to bed," I suggested. "Ok," The boy trudged back up the stairs. "You guys talk funny," he muttered in an adorable British accent. "Here," Percy held up my laptop. "The evil noise is coming from this," He flicked to top open and typed on the keyboard. "Percy?" I asked as the beeping kept going on. "Yes," "Do you have any idea how to turn that off?" I walked over to where he was and pressed a single button. The sounds stopped mid beep. But an image popped up on my screen. "Percy, Annabeth, HI!" Thanks for reading :) I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, but hopefully I have distracted you from that with a mysteries phone call. Who could it be? *Raises eyebrows evilly* :evillaugh |
Amazing! Oh my goodness! Who could possibly be on the other side??????? Can't wiat for more. :) |
Yay!! You posted again! Great post! -Rachel :) |
Yay!!!!! You posted again!!! I wonder who it was!!! |
Chapter 39 Chapter 39: We have a winner! "Hey man!" Percy greeted. "Whats up?" Grover grinned. "Nothing much, dude. Whats with you? Are you in a castle?" He asked. I could see him trying to peer around us. "We might have found something," I told him. He raised his eyebrows. "Think halloween," "Witches?" "Give the boy a prize!!" Percy said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Sorry this is so short, but I promise to post more soon. I hope everyone is having a great spring break! :) |
Don't worry about it being short. And Grover most certainly deserves a prize! That was a pretty good guess. Can't wait for more! I love Crossovers! |
Awesome!! Great guess on Grover's part! Percy really does not need to be sarcastic. Really, Perce? Great job! -Rachel :) |
Chapter 40 Chapter 40: Are you serious? Our conversation with Grover didn't last too long. The Gryffindors came downstairs and clustered around us. The little kids climbed all over us in order to get a better view. It was really good that Percy and I had worked a lot with the younger kids at camp or else we would have been toast. "What does that button do?" one girl with blonde, corkscrew curls asked. "it turns the computer off," Percy answered. "Wait!!" Grover and I cried, but her precious little fingers had already clamped down on the power button. The screen went blank and thus ended our conversation with Grover. I glared accusing at Percy. "My bad," * * * We all left to the great hall for breakfast. Thalia and Lily were eating down in the kitchens. Thalia was taking, taking care of Lily a tad bit overboard. "I still find no reason that your computer can work here. It clearly states that it is impossible in Hogwarts, A History," Hermione had asked. "The computer is enchanted on its own," I told her. "Do you even know how enchantments work?" a sly girl in blue robes asked. "Yeah, do you?" Percy countered. "That's sort of what we study here," she responded. Percy nodded as he reached into his pocket. He pulled out Riptide, the blue of the pen caught his eyes......you did not read that. "What is this?" He help Riptide above his head. The kids were packing up their bags and getting ready for classes. Percy and I were in fresh jeans and t-shirts, but we were downright mangy compared to their matching uniforms. "a pen," they all chorused. Percy stared right at the sly chick. He uncapped Riptide and the pen became a sword. They all gasped. But a fake cough echoed as we turned towards the portrait entrance. "Timing is just NOT my friend," |
Nice going on Percy's part! (Both with the computer and the pen) Oh, how I would love to see the kids' faces when it turns to a sword! Oh, no. Umbridge by any chance? Great job!! -Rachel :) Oh, P.S.--Remove your first comma after "Grover" :) |
Oh no! Who just came in? I hope Rachel isn't right. Umbridge would be awful. I'd feel sorry for them is it was her. :) But Good Job! Can't wait until the next chapter! :) |
Chapter 41: Not the KITTY Percy and I were marched down the halls by some creep, Flinch or Filth or something. We held our heads high as we had gathered a crowd. I guess a lot doesn't happen at this school, because two outsiders about to get detention had drawn the beginning of a small parade. I wish I could say that they were following us to give us a sense of support. "Hugh," Percy avoided a face-plant by grabbing onto my shoulders. "Stupid cat," The dirty janitor led us up the stairs and gave Percy the stink eye. "Mind your mouth, and your feet," "I'm just saying this castle is oozing with cats. We could do with a few less," Percy muttered not too quietly. The crowd ooohhh-ed with extreme judgment. I turned my neck to see Hermione following behind us. I mouthed to her, "What did we do wrong?" She pointed ahead to Professor McGonagall who stood on the foot on the stairs along with the Minister and Umbridge. She mouthed some wizard jibber jabber back, "McGonagall is an animagus," Clearly no one here was being understood. Ok, it has been TOO long. My bad :*ops: Although I will tell you that this is the 3rd time I wrote this. Clearly I don't understand technology. |
Noooooo!!! Oh dear, poor them! Can't wait for more! |
chapter 42 Chapter 42: When people predict, trouble comes Percy, Thalia, Lily, and I were inside Umbridge's office along with McGonagall and the Minister. "Lets recap shall we," Umbridge said in her fake little girls voice. "Alright," I said, "There was a prophecy, we found you, they," I motioned to Lily and Thalia, "they found us, and then you got scared," "Got scared?!?!" Umbridge cried. "You threatened students! You could have killed them!!" She was waving her finger like a lunatic at Percy, who do his credit wasn't actually laughing. "Minister I urge you to see reason and send these 'monsters' away'!" Minsister Kingsley was calm and looked around at all of us, " Mr. Jackson, you need to remain calm and understand that others are not so confident around weapons," "Of course sir," Percy nodded his head politely. "What I want to know," McGonagall questioned, "Is why the Minister being called in for such unimportant school matters?" "Well," Umbridge, "I was unsure as how to proceed with these..hee hemm....them," "Geez," Lily was grinning, "You might be a little more thankful when this school is over run by literal monsters," "Why do you think Hogwarts is going to be over run by monsters?" Percy asked while everyone else looked horrified. "Because of all the demigods that are coming," Lily stared directly at Umbridge, "If you can't handle four how do you think you're going to run this school when the rest of us come?" |
Chapter 43 Chapter 43: Its funny cause its true "Exactly how many demigods are coming?" Kingsley asked. Lily was suddenly very focused on the last bit of dirt under her fingernails. "Ummm sir," I cut in. I turned to the other adults, "Professors there are reasons we are here and problems that we have been assigned to manage," McGonagall piercing gaze lessened, "Well, then," she smoothed the front of her robes, "Tell us the problems and surely we can contribute some of our resources. Do you have some written reports that I can distribute to the rest of the faculty?" "Ummm," I began and abruptly stopped. It was an irritating habit. "We would really appreciate your help, but-" Percy stepped forward, "but the thing is we normally don't know the problem until something......happens," the silence hung in the air. "Excuse me," Umbridge held up a claw-like hand, "'Something' like what exactly?" "The usual red flag is when someone tries to kill us," Thalia casually said. In almost perfect syncopation the four of us nodded and mumbled our agreement- "Yeah pretty much," "That's how it goes most of the time," "Sounds about right," The Minister, who had been an attentive listener, face-palmed-although he sneakily hide it by coughing. Which might have been to cover up his chucking.....Whatever it was Umbridge looked like she didn't appreciate it. Although, to be fair, I have a feeling Umbridge could find a way to dislike a free donut. So yeah...........here it is. Its been awhile- you look good......this is awkward......* sigh * |
I'm new here, and I have just read your story. Wow. It's amazing, love the way you write, can't wait for the next chapter! |
