I hope you enjoy my crossover story.

Disclaimer: none of the characters are mine, they are the soul property of the amazing JK Rowling, and Sapphire and Steel was written by PJ Hammond.

If you don’t know, Sapphire and Steel was a TV show on ITV from 1979 to 1982, and it was very successful. My mum got the box set for me the other day, and I love it!



Chapter One

Harry's POV

It was the holidays and I was going to the Burrow to stay with Ron. Mr. Weasley came to pick me up as usual and might have given Dudley another pig’s tail!

When we arrived, Ginny came running over to me. I gave her a little tiny kiss and she smiled. Ron and Hermione walked over, too. “Hey guys, what’s up?” I asked looking at their faces,

“Mrs Weasley has disappeared! But we don’t know where too. She was washing up, with magic of course when, all of a sudden she screamed and she was gone!” said Hermione bursting into tears. “Mr Weasley doesn’t know yet,” she told me. I didn’t know what to say, my best friend's mum disappearing!

“Well maybe, she disapperated, it’s possible,” I said trying to think of reasons of her disappearing, but they all shook their heads.

“No, we know that much” said Ron. “Anyway, the same thing happened to Fred, George and Percy!” he whispered. I gasped and looked at Hermione, then I realised why we were whispering, she didn’t know it yet!

Then all of a sudden we heard a terrible scream. We ran as fast as we could and found that Mr. Weasley had vanished!

As we were outside, we ran inside and started to wonder why he had gone. Suddenly there was a knocking at the door. We didn’t want to answer it, so we sat in silence. The knocking continued and when I finally looked out of the window, there was a man in a suit with a stern look on his face and a woman, who looked very beautiful, and she was in a blue dress with high heels on.

Ron and the others looked, too. They nodded as if to say, let them in, and I went to the door and opened it. The man pushed past me and walked up the stairs. The woman walked in and introduced herself. “Hello, my name is Sapphire and this is Steel” she said pointing to the man on the stairs.

“Why are you here? You're not a witch are you?” I asked curiously.

“Why of course not…..” she stopped, staring into space. I looked at the other man, Steel, and he was doing the same. She stopped and walked upstairs.

“Well, is it here?” Steel asked.

“Yes, but not here on these stairs, but it was here.” Sapphire replied.

“How long ago?” he asked her with a sharp look.

“About ten minutes ago, though I can't be sure,” she told him, and he looked at her with a shocked expression.

“What, you can't be sure? We'll do a spot analysis because we need to know,” he replied.



Sapphire’s POV

"It was here 11 minuets and 16 seconds ago. Why did they boy ask me if I was a witch?" I asked Steel.

"I think he must be a wizard. What was the trigger? It can't be a nursery rhyme, they are all too old, but maybe it was..." he replied and paused.

"What, magic? That’s what I thought. Oh I need to tell the boy why we are here even if it’s not all right," I told him.

“Right. Harry, we are here because…” I stopped because he looked puzzled at why I called him Harry when he had not even introduced himself.

“How did you know I'm called Harry?” he asked.

“That doesn’t matter. Now listen - we are here because, how do I put this, there is a corridor and the corridor is time. It surrounds all things and passes through all things,” I told him. Steel gave a slight smile. “Now can you show us into the main room please?” I asked.
