Hello Ana. Ah, what an enjoyable post. I'm laughing the whole way through it, and feeling sorry for Sirius at the same time. How can anyone be so cute, adorable and look'n for fun at the turn of every corner, and still think he has a handle on growing up?
What's up with Lily? It's obvious she likes James now, but, I'm afraid it's going to hurt him, cause he's starting to grow up for her and she's ignoring him.

When the party was finished, at a very early hour of the morning, I saw Aaron walking back on his way to the ravenclaw common room.
“Aaron!” I called.
He turned around, and came back towards me. “Yeah?”
“Did you ask her?”
Aaron grinned, nodding. I didn’t need to ask to know what her answer was.
I smiled. “See you later, Aaron.”
James and Remus looked at me curiously as I started towards our common room. “Clarisa.” I said simply.
We stepped into the common room, and I was about to go up to our dorm, when I saw Clarisa sitting on the couch.
“I’ll see you guys up there.” I said to Remus and James, walking over to the couch and sitting beside Clarisa. “Hey.”
“Hey.” She smiled. “So, I’m going to the ball with Aaron.” She said.
“So I’ve heard.” I said. “Aaron’s great, you couldn’t have found anyone better.” I paused for a moment. “Well, other than myself, of course.” I smirked.
“Oh, of course.” Clarisa laughed.
“The ball is in two days, when are you going to start getting ready? Tomorrow morning?” I smirked.
She laughed. “All girls aren’t as crazy as you think they are, you know.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Adriana was annoyed at me that I hadn’t asked her to the ball sooner, so she could choose the right dress. Because the dress needed to match me, and if she went with someone else, she’d need a different dress.” I said. “Girls are crazy.”
Clarisa rolled her eyes, smiling. “I don’t think she’s a very good example. Most of us aren’t that crazy, trust me.” She smiled.

It was the day of the ball, and like usual, I was either shaken awake or I fell off of my bed.
Groggily opening to see which it was, I put my hand to my pounding head.
“Sirius, wake up!”
Obviously, it had been both. James had shaken me awake so roughly that I was now on the floor, again, and my head was really sore. The small number of hours I’d slept for probably just made it worse.
“James,” I said, pushing myself up into a sitting position. Then I saw the time. I groaned. “It’s six o’clock. We don’t have any classes today, and you woke me up at six?” That just wasn’t cool.
I need sleep. Lots and lots of sleep.
“I don’t care, get dressed!” I could see the excitement in his eyes, so I stood up and started getting ready. When I was dressed, I looked over at Remus, sitting on his bed.
He shrugged. “He was up before me.” James, like me, was never an early riser.
“C’mon, lets go.” James urged.
“Alright, we’re coming.” I said, following James as he raced down the stairs.
Down in the mostly empty great hall, I sat beside James and Remus, still half asleep. My brain wasn’t programmed to be up this early. “What’s going on with you this morning?” I mumbled.
“Quidditch.” He said, not in the slightest bit feeling tired.
Now it made sense. His first ever quidditch practice after being captain was today. “Oh, good.” I said, very unenthusiastically. I was excited for James, really I was. Just not this early in the morning. “I know you’re excited, but why are we getting up at six?”
“So that we can get to the quidditch pitch early.” James said, like it was just so obvious.
“Couldn’t you have just left me in bed? Sleeping.” I sighed, picking up a piece of bread.
James just rolled his eyes.
“Morning guys,” Clarisa said, sitting down beside me.
I stared at Clarisa. “Why is everybody up so early today?” I said.
“I’m an early riser.” She said. “And I want to explore Hogwarts, it’s fascinating.”
I was slowly becoming more alert. Very slowly. “We’re going to the grounds early for James’ quidditch practice, you can come.”
James smiled. “They probably don’t play as well in Spain as we do here. Not as well as our team, anyway.” He smirked, confident.
“I wouldn’t be so sure about that.” Clarisa smiled. “I’m probably a bit biased, because I was on the team, but we’re amazing.”
“You were pretty good, I’m sure.” James said. “But you couldn’t have beaten us in a match.”
Out on the quidditch pitch I flew around with James, Clarisa was on a broom and even Remus was flying around with us.
By the time we came back to the ground, James was in very high spirits – earlier, however, James had still been completely excited and sure of himself, now it was only doubled. | |

Actually, no. I do wake up at that time and I agree that it's way too early, but I just wanted an excuse to bring out the whip on Sirius again. Mwahaha!
Quidditch and those guys, especially James. -sigh- I wish Potter wasn't so gender biased about it. I hope Clarisa gets a chance to beat his butt someday.

Hello Ana. Very nice posts, both of them. I admire James's entheusiasm for his team, but he is a bit inconciderate, and arrogant. I hope she tries out and makes the tream. Quote:

nice post...you know what i think Sirius likes Clarisa...i dont know why but i just think that.you know even if he told Aron to ask her out it looks as if he does consider and regard whatever Clarisa says unlike with other girls...i dont know i maybe wrong too...but waiting for more...

Back in the castle, James animatedly discussed quidditch and tactics over lunch. There were only two other instances where his whole face would light up in this way.
The first, was when we planned a prank, or any kind of devious plot, and the second, whenever he got to see Lily.
“Amelia is fast and slim, the Slytherin seeker is like a troll.” I commented, smirking at the thought.
“Even if he finds the snitch before Amelia, he’ll probably just flail and fall off of his broom.” James laughed. The first game of the year was Gryffindor vs. Slytherin, and it was one that was always anticipated.
I especially looked forward to it, with Slytherins on the team that I really hated most, like Lucius Malfoy, and my dear, dear brother, Regulus.
“So, how are you feeling, Captain?” Melissa walked up to them, smiling at James.
He grinned, in response. “Excellent. Ready to start quidditch for the year?”
“Oh, I am so ready. The other houses have no chance.” Melissa said, a small smirk on her lips. “I’ll see you at practice.” She said to James. “And I’ll talk to you later.” Mel said to Remus, waving.
“Mel is right, they have no chance.”
“Winning has made you cocky, James. You wouldn’t want to let your guard down.” Clarisa said with a smirk.
“Oh, I wouldn’t do that. I’m aware of our competition, like Sirius’ brother. He’s a good player, so we need to be careful of him, like we do with Malfoy.”
“What about me then?” She asked. “Since obviously, I’m not good enough to play you.”
“I didn’t say that.” James said. “I said that your team couldn’t beat mine, because I think that my team is brilliant, really. But seeing you play, even for a short time, you look good. I wouldn’t mind having you on my team, and playing against you might be a nice challenge.”
“But you still feel like you’d win,” Clarisa said, smiling at his compliment. Because from all that she’d seen and heard of James, he was a brilliant quidditch player.
“Obviously.”
“I have a little surprise for you, then.” Clarisa said, but before she could say anything, two girls had come over.
Clarisa grinned. “Hey girls.” She looked back to James, Sirius and Remus. “This is my best friend Sasha, who is from Spain like me,” she said, motioning to one of the girls.
Sasha had tanned skin and her hair was a very light shade of brown. Her eyes were a soft brown and she grinned at us. “It’s so nice to finally meet you all.”
“This, everyone, is Rianne,” Clarisa motioned to the other girl. She had blonde hair that cascaded down her back, and very dark brown eyes. “I just meet her recently, she’s from Italy.”
“Hello,” she said, her eyes falling over James, Remus and me, before they returned to Clarisa. “I have a friend who was also wondering about it.”
“Tomorrow, around one.” Clarisa said.
The two girls left, and I turned to look at Clarisa, as did James and Remus. “Well, what’s going on?” I asked, curious.

I especially looked forward to it, with Slytherins on the team that I really hated most, like Lucius Malfoy, and my dear, dear brother, Regulus.

“Dumbledore has decided, so as to include everybody, that this year there is going to be an international quidditch team and he has appointed me captain.” Clarisa said, grinning with excitement. She hadn’t even been captain at her school back home.
“Oh really?” James smiled. “Then, I wish you good luck.” He said, extending a hand. “I’m sure you’ll make an excellent captain, and I look forward to playing with you.” James said, sincerely.
Clarisa and James began to talk animatedly about quidditch, I was kind of listening, but my attention was fading.
“Sirius Black. I would almost think that you were avoiding me, if I didn’t know how much you loved me.” A grin spread across her face, Andromeda walked up behind me.
“Dro!” I jumped up and pulled her into a hug. “How could I ever want to avoid you?” I smirked. “You’ve probably just been too distracted with your boyfriend.” I teased.
“Yeah.” She sighed. “I don’t know about that anymore.” She said. Her eyes flickered over to Narcissa and Bellatrix.
“You wouldn’t let our lovely family stop you from going to the ball with who you want, would you?” I asked.
“No, of course not.” She said, looking back at me.
“Then what’s the problem?” I asked. “I mean, Ted has asked you, hasn’t he?”
Andromeda shook her head. “No. He hasn’t, and I don’t know why. I didn’t do anything wrong. Do you think he’s going with somebody else? I mean, we’re not dating yet. But I thought he was going to ask me, and I’m not going with anyone.”
She was like my sister, and she told me everything. I knew that she wasn’t usually like this with guys, but Ted was different. I also knew that this seemed like strange behavior for him. “Strange. I’ll talk to him, if you like. And if it all turns out badly, any other guy would go with you in a second.”
Andromeda laughed. “Thanks Sirius. What would I do without you?”
“Your life would be rather miserable.” I said.
“You’re not very modest, are you?”
I was walking around outside, as it started to rain lightly. Everyone else seemed to be doing something, but James would be finishing his quidditch practice soon.
With my head down, I ran for cover from the rain in the entrance hall and hit into another figure. I looked up, about to apologize when I saw who was standing there. “Oh, it’s you.” I said, flicking my tousled damp hair out of my grey eyes.
“Well that’s just ruined my day.” Kyla said coldly.
“Aw, how come? You mean it doesn’t just brighten your day to see me, Kylie?” I smirked.
“No, not really. Because on the contrary to what your egotistical head thinks, not every single girl is obsessed with you.”
“Maybe not. But most of them are, including you.”
“I could be doing so many more important things, than wasting my time talking to you, so I hope I don’t see you around, Black.” Kyla said, walking away without looking back.
Now I needed to find Ted so that I could talk to him, and then find James and get ready.
