Nice update! Keep it up! |
:glomp: Loves Evvie!!!! as always!!! |
I can't wait for the next chappie Eviee! :glomp: ♥Stef♥ |
I'm so sorry for the wait on this! SPOILER!!: Replies http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/x...brokenwing.jpg Created; Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop Chapter Thirteen Part One. The day he had been dreading about arrived sooner than he would have liked. The clock chimed midnight from somewhere in his headmaster's office and Snape looked up from the book he had been reading. He was a little surprised to find he had been reading for far longer than he had wanted but it was one of those books he had begun to love since such a young age. Closing the large bounded book with a snap he rubbed his red aching eyes and looked around him. The entire room was black with darkness and the only light came from the small flickering candle on his desk that he had been using to read. Behind him he could hear the soft snoozes and sighs from the sleeping portraits and he focused on them for a moment, more for something to do than anything else. His thoughts filled him with dread once more. He knew he had to participate in the capture of Potter later on that day, not really to capture him but to more keep him from harm and make sure he made it to his destination than anything else. Something that good-for-nothing father of his could no longer do. He was doing this for his true love Lily Potter. With a yawn he stretched and stood from his chair leaving the book where he left it on the desk. He probably should get some rest before the adventure of the upcoming evening. "Up so late or shall I say so early Severus?" A slow tired voice said from behind him. Snape turned to face the portrait of Albus Dumbledore, he suspected he looked just as bad as his mentor, only more scuffled. Dumbledore just looked perfect, he always did. "I could not sleep so chose to read," he replied dryly making no move towards the portrait, he chose instead to stand half a room apart letting his voice carry. "You dread what is to come," the old headmaster said after a moment pause and Snape suddenly hated the man who had answers for everything. "It must be done, Severus," he finished. "I know!" Snape snapped before calming himself, "I just wish there was another way..." he trailed off as if lost in thought. "It is not difficult, it is a simple task to follow." "But a window to many problems. It could go wrong then where would we be?" Snape asked firmly eyeing the portrait. "You must not draw attention to yourself, you must do as I have said till the end. Do it for Lily Potter, Severus." "Do not speak of her!" Snape snapped again, "I will do as you ask," he seemed to be saying the same things over and over again to the portrait as if he could do nothing else but he knew deep down he was really doing this for Lily Potter and her son. Snape turned on his heels and sulked from the room taking his candle with him leaving the room black behind him. |
It's so sad and... true. :( It is awesome and very well-written though. :D Keep it going, Evie. :glomp: |
I love this chapter Evie. :glomp: He cares. He truly cares. Snape shipper in here. :loved: And also, I love the deep connection between Dumbledore and Snape, just how they talk that way. :) All in all, this was an awesome chapter! :D |
I loved the chapter :D |
I love how you write about Snape, what he says and does! ^_^ Very well done, Eviee! ♥Stef♥ |
Very good job! It would just suck to be Snape at moments like these. Just wondering but what is Snape about to do? I know the next day is the transport of Harry, but what is he so worried about? That or something else? I don't know if I am missing something or something else. :) -Rachel :) |
Awesome! |
SPOILER!!: Your replies MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY READERS! The new chapter will be posted before the New Year guys! :glomp: :loved: thank you so much for reading my FF so far! |
It's really different to show the viewpoints of four different people who might seem to have nothing in common; but when you write this way, it's easy to see why. And it's ok to make the chapters short. Writers are allowed to write however they want to :) Awesome job so far!!! |
Words can not describe how sorry I am that you've have to wait almost two months for an update. Truth it my real life has got ahead of me and I've had no inspiration to write, first I lost my writing book then family tragedy then college, work, extra clubs/lessons, shows, auditions etc etc but now I'm here. Although this is a short chapter and does NOT conclude this chapter it will give you a little taster of what's to come. I hope you enjoy and I look forward to reading your replies. :glomp: thank you all again! :loved: http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/x...brokenwing.jpg Created; Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop Chapter Thirteen Part Two. He was frozen. He watched his breath as it traveled in puffs like smoke but he refused to warm himself up. Why bother he wasn't looking forward to what was coming, why add comfort to the matter? Looking left and right he watched as more Death Eaters moved around uncomfortably in their robes, some where even jumping from one foot to the next. All eye's were focused on one person, Lord Voldemort who acted like the cold didn't bother him and it probably didn't. Who know's what the Dark Lord feels, Snape thought as he watched him. Voldemort was saying nothing and instead staring off into space like he expected everyone to know what he wanted. It was like he was waiting for something, a bell? an alarm? Snape twisted his hand around the handle of his broom again and waited like everyone else, boredom written clearly on his face. After moments of silence the Dark Lord finally moved, climbing onto his broom he said only once sentence clearly, "Come it is time" before pushing from the ground and quickly gaining height. No one spoke as they followed their leader, Snape with them although half heartily. They were lost in the fog in moments, Snape couldn't see more in any direction but he knew people were there. After all they were going through the same thing. Snape also knew it wasn't a real fog just something to cover them up until Potter and his friends took tot he air like they already were. They were walking into a trap, Snape had to smile at that. Potter was never a smart one, nothing like that Hermione Granger who was no doubt with him and the moment at that blood traiter Ron Weasley with them, but not a single one of them. not even Potter's "bodyguard", bother to check the air or even leave someone to guard before leaving the ground. Their fault for those who died here tonight. Snape along with everyone else watched them rise form the ground in two's. each group with a Potter. Of course they'll use polyjuice potion, Snape thought as he broke from the crowd to follow one group. The chase was on. |
Short, but awesome! I can't wait for more! And the wait is perfectly fine... I understand everything (and I'm sure everyone else does too). -Rachel :) |
Nice chapter bug! |
Short chappies can always be really good, Eviee! ^_^ Keep up the good work. I completely understand. Your such a great FF writer. :D Take all the time you want. |
Alright, I'm caught up and I'm sooo sorry for not being on and reading it earlier! I love your writing, as always, and everything is just amazing. |
Hey Eviee, sorry I haven't been on to read for several days. I enjoyed your new posts very much. You have a way of writing your ff that makes me want to keep on reading. I especially like Snape's thoughts of how he is being able to watch over Harry instead of his father. I think it's so like him though to cast blame when it's his fault Voldemort found out about the Prophecy in the first place. I think you wrote Snape perfect here; Quote:

Oooooooo! Even though it was short it was awesome :x3: |
Reactivated per user's request. |
HI!!!!! You know how I said I would catch up??? Well, it took me a while, but I just read all of your posts since the last time I commented, which was farther back than I care to admit :( BUT I really like this! and I find myself anxious to find out what's going to happen next, even though I already sort of know! heehee you should post more! I'll be waiting :D |
Seriously long overdue, really sorry guys :/ and it's seriously crappy just trying to keep the story going. http://i768.photobucket.com/albums/x...brokenwing.jpg Created; Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop Chapter Thirteen Part Three. The air around them all seemed to cloud up as they chased back and forth. The thick dirty clouds shielded their targets until they too fought their way through them. Snape wasn't sure who his companion was, or even who he was chasing besides "Potter". His mind - and eyes - were set on other things such as his targets. He wasn't going to actually cause much damage however, after all he was on the "good" side in all this. Snape could hear cries and shouts all around him as he flew, so many that he wasn't sure who was shouting what. The further away they flew the less noisy it sounded around him, which he was glad about. He could finally think again. Snape flew through one more cloud, his black dirty locks now filled with droplets of rain, and the air was suddenly clear. No clouds, no shouts. The only peple to occupy the air was himself, his companion and their two targets. As he flew, Snape couldn't help but think back to Dumbledore's words. He still wondered why Dumbledore wanted the Death Eaters to actually capture Harry. Didn't he know what would happened!? no surely he did, Harry would be killed and then all this. All their hard work would be for nothing, Lily, HIS LILY would have died for nothing. It was unfair, all this was unfair. Shaking his head he threw the thoughts away, no Dumbledore wouldn't want that, wouldn't want his own life to go to waste. No he had some master plan and he, Severus Snape, was going to find that out, at least before he died but first focus on where hw was at the moment. Suddenly his companion, who he really needed to identify - stupid masks -raised his wand to cast a spell. At first he wasn't alarmed, hadn't they been casting spells at their targets for a while, they were certainly getting some sent back at them but no this seemed different from the other, felt different. Call it a gut feeling. His fears were confirmed when the first words left the other guys mouth, quickly raising his own wand he non-verbally shouted a curse to save those he secretly set out to save. Only moving targets were more tricky to curse. He wasn't quiet sure what happened at first, he didn't even watch the bright light leave the end of his wand only watched the direction on which it was headed. Only it didn't reach it's intended target. Snape's companion chose that moment to move his broom to the left and out of his former trail and his spell zoomed past and made contact with the "Potter's" ear. He didn't react to the fatal wound, the cry of pain or the blood that now gashed from the wound. He only felt a prang of regret for what he had done. He kept his broom level and carried on as if it didn't effect him. They carried on like this for many more league's before it just stopped, like the two before them had gone beyond their reach like a force field had popped up before them and they could go no further. They didn't bounce back nor did they get an electric shock, to him it felt like they could no longer move. They were brought up short and watched them ride away, nothing else he could do but he felt glad it was over because of course it was over this time. Nevertheless it was over, Snape lowered his wand and brought his broom up short, his partner did the same. They didn't wait a moment longer before they each turned their brooms to leave. At least now he could get some sleep, Snape like that idea a lot. |
I really liked it! I loved the last line about sleep :) Glad you're back! Can't wait for more! -Rachel :) |
Hey Eviee an intense ride that's for sure. My favorite part; Quote:
