"Alright, I have one abacus, one lunarscope, one crystal ball, and one telescope. How much will that cost?" Adelyn smiled, tucking a loose auburn curl behind her ear as she checked the four items off her list, and began pulling out her small change purse, hearing the coins clink together.

Melina brought up a huge basket of cool purchases. As this was her first year at Hogwart's, she hoped that all of her stuff was going to fit inside her trunk. Well, she supposed she could always have her dad cast an undetectable extension charm.

She set her things down and smiled at the pretty shopkeeper. "You have a really cool store!" she said. "I think I've got everything I need: a remembrall, a set of gobstones, self-shuffling playing cards, exploding snap game, a lunarscope, a magical camera, 6 everlasting candles, and 10 enchanted candles."

"Oh, and could you please tell me more about the range of shapes that the telescopes and hourglasses come in? I know that I want the telescope to be dark blue and kind of have a celestial pattern to it. Like sparkly stars and constellations and the like? I adore astronomy! And I'd love for the colors of my hourglass to be aqua and amethyst, but I have no idea what shape. Can you help me please?"

"Twenty galleons and three sickles, kid." Gemini flicked her wand and summoned over the items the child had requested.

"Twelve galleons and twelve sickles." Gemini packed up everything while she waited for the child to hand over the coins.

"That'll be Fifteen galleons and twelve sickles." Gemini replied after a short pause.

"Thank you." With a laugh, she listened to the very excited child talk, and paused for a moment, "Well, how about you leave this stuff over here, and go look for yourself? It's easier that way, so you can be sure that you get what you want." Gem tucked the other items off in a sheltered part of the counter, "I'll hold these here for you, so you don't have to carry them around. Sound good?"

"That would be brilliant!" replied Melina, looking over at the displays and doing a tiny happy dance. She hadn't noticed how far back the shelves went- she'd only paid attention to the telescopes and hourglasses in the front. "Thanks for holding my things for me!" she called as she hurried over to the displays.

A few moments later she shouted "Merlin's polka-dot underwear!!" She returned with a telescope, an hourglass, and a huge smile. "Check this out! You had exactly the telescope I wanted!" Sure enough, the telescope was a wide cylinder and dark blue. On it was an exact replica of the night sky for whatever date and location one happened to be in. "Isn't it brilliant?" she breathed.

Then she placed the hourglass on the table. She'd found one with colors close enough to match her idea. This hourglass was shaped like a fountain, the dark purple sand flowing over the three levels of petaled platforms before falling to the bottom. The fountain itself was made of blown glass (charmed to make it unbreakable, thank Merlin), the colors a swirling mixture of aqua and purple. She couldn't stop staring at it- it was one of the most beautiful things she'd ever seen.

"They're both so perfect," she smiled, gazing dreamily at the two instruments. Thank you so much for holding my things- I'm definitely ready now. How much will it be, please?"

"Fifteen galleons...and twelve sickles..." Adelyn counted out each coin accordingly, and then handed them to the shopkeeper. Before taking her purchases, she smiled at the woman, and said, "Thank you!" Then left the shop.

Picking up the package, Ella pushed the coins towards the lady.
'Thankyou!' Ella turned and walked out of the shop.

When the child returned, Gem smiled again, glad that she seemed to be enjoying herself in her shop. Most people who came in were stuffy adults, this was a nice change of pace. "I'm glad you found what you like."

"Twenty-six galleons, sixteen sickles, and twenty-five knuts."


Gem waved to the two children as they left the shop.

Natalia worked her way towards the counter, a single telescope in hand. She had picked a lovely scarlet color. While waiting, she eyed a wizard chess set, and Natalia knew she had to buy one for herself. Calculating in her head, she started pulling out 8 galleons and 6 sickles from her purse.

Melina searched through her purse. She'd spent sooooooo much money today! But the overwhelming majority of her purchases were all the necessaries for her first year at school. Ok, so she didn't need the dress robes, or the makeup, or the parakeet, or the two pygmy puffs (but they were SO cute!). But she really really wanted the beautiful things she'd found in this shop. At least we really are made of money, she thought to herself. Not that she ever abused that privilage; her father had taught her better than that. But today was such a special day, and she'd been given a practically limitless budget for this ONE day.

She rummaged through her purse and pulled out twenty-seven galleons. Smiling grandly at the shopowner, she said, "When I'm old enough, I'd really love to work here." She handed her money over to the sweet lady behind the counter.

Virgo went inside the store for some quick shopping. After all she only needed to buy one thing from this store. Which is quite important for her. After taking the item from an aisle she marched immediately towards the counter.

"2 galleons right?" she asked the shopkeeper referring to the Mokeskin pouch she's raising for the shopkeeper to see.

Arianna still feeling a bit down, placed her findings on the counter. The shop keeper took them in hand and tallied them up. Arianna was double checking that she had everything over and over and over. The price had come to: 9galleons 6 sickles. She only needed a telescope but thought she'd treat her self by buying wizards chess that she had been taught to play by her father.

Gavin took his plain brown magic trunk with wheels, and his black and silver telescope, and waited patiently in line to pay for his items.

Getting his trunk now was really a great idea. After getting his clothes, books, and wands, his hands were now pretty full. At least, with the trunk, he could put everything inside and roll it around during the remainer of his shopping. He wished he had tought about that earlier and got the trunk first. Oh well, it was not too late to make good use of it.

Delilah had only come in to buy a telescope, but once she had seen the invisibility cloak, she knew she had to have it. It wasn't a bad price at all and she had some money left over from buying her supplies. She walked to the back of line, waiting for her chance to get to the counter and pay. She hummed a song softly to herself as she waited. She just couldn't wait to slip on the invisibility cloak. It looked like so much fun.

After getting the telescope she wanted and after she got some game of Wizard's Chess (since her parents did say she could buy anything she wanted in that store and Danielle found it good to use in free time with her soon-to-be-friends), Danielle Griffiths made her way to the counter.

She smiled at the shopkeeper, "Good day, miss," as she put the telescope and Wizard's Chess on the counter.

Rose walked into Wiseacres and stared around in wonder.."Wow", she thought, "this shop is amazing".
Walking around the shop and scanning the shelves, Rose saw a few things that she needed and definitely more things that she wanted.

Deciding to get the things needed first, she went and selected

Making her way to the counter with her purchases, joined the queue and waited patiently to be served..

"Eight galleons and six sickles, dear." Gemini said as she packed up the girl's purchases.

"Well, when that day comes, come back, and I'll see what I can do." Gemini giggled and took the money, placed it in the till and nudged the packages over to the child, "Be careful with those now, dear, and have a lovely day."

"Two galleons would be correct dear." Gemini replied with a nod, "Would you like it?"

Awww. This poor child looked a tad upset. Gemini offered a smile, "Eight galleons and six sickles dear."

"Just these then?" Gemini asked as she took up the trunk and the telescope to wrap them for easier carrying, "Eight galleons and three sickles."

"I don't sell Invisibility Cloaks to children, sorry." Gemini swiped her wand and the cloak flew out of the girl's hand and back behind the counter where all the others had been put.

"Six galleons for the telescope."

"To you as well." She took up the two items and began to wrap them, "Eight galleons and six sickles."

Well, well. This child had quite the wide load of items. Gemini used her wand to wrap them all, and added everything in her head, "Twenty-three galleons and eight sickles."

Delilah couldn't deny her disappoint and she sighed slightly. But it was probably for the better. She didn't need people encouraging her mischievous habits. She got six galleons from her little pouch and slid it to the shopkeeper. "Thank you," she smiled politely at the shopkeeper and left.

Gavin took his pouch from his pocket and took 8 galleons and 3 sickles out of it. He gave them to the attendant with a smile, took his purchases, and, with a small wave, left the store.

"Thank you kindly." Natalia said, handing the shopkeeper the correct amount of wizard coins. She then took the packaged supplies from the women, nodded her goodbye and left the store.

Danielle began to fish in her pockets eight galleons and six sickles to pay the shopkeeper. But as she took out the money from her pocket, she found out that she had ten galleons in hand. 'Ugh, no sickles. Oh well, guess I'll have to pay not the exact amount.'

Danielle took nine galleons from it and returned the remaining galleon in her pocket. She handed the nine galleons to the shopkeeper and said, "Here you go, miss," with a wide smile on her face.

Danielle couldn't hide her excitement. She was so happy to finally be buying her supplies for school and could hardly wait to attend her first year at Hogwarts.

Rose looked up in the kind lady's face and smiled, replying "Here you go, thank you"
Picking up her package off the counter, smiled again and turned to leave the store - excited now because she was finally going to go to Ollivanders for her wand

Penny had been sorted into Hufflepuff, while her friend Rose had been sorted into Gryffindor, they were both disappointed - Rose decided to get the two-way mirrors so they could still keep in touch while in their common rooms or dormitories.. Penny decided to get some too - just in case the mirrors Rose bought broke !!

Doing some quick maths in her head, Penny guessed that this lot would set her back about 24 galleons....
She joined the queue, and waited to be served...

Elle walked into the shop, looking only to buy a telescope, but saw much more. She looked around quickly, hoping secure a good spot in line, and grabbed a chrome-looking telescope. She then grabbed a magical trunk, and two rolls of Spellotape. You never know when you might need it. She then hopped in line, and waited to find out how much her items would cost.

With her supplies in hand, Oceana made her way to the front counter. Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment was her last stop. "Hello! I have a sneakoscope, spellotape, a pack of everlasting candles, a magical trunk, a telescope, and a pair of omnioculars."

Virgo gave her the exact amount of money for the ouch and nodded. "yes please."
