Kaela paid the lady and smiled brightly. "Thank you so much, ma'am!" Taking her things, she bid the shopkeeper a farewell.

Arlo was starting to get the hang of wandering around the little magical street by himself. He still needed nearly everything on his list but he didn't really care too much. If all else failed, Silvestro would have to get the things for him when he had already gone to school. It was his fault it wouldn't have been bought already, considering that Arlo barely understood English, let alone how to buy things in English shops, or even what it was he needed for that matter.

Having wandered around yet another shop for quite a long time trying to work out what he needed, he headed to the counter with his arms full of things he thought he might have needed at some point. On his way around the shop, he had picked up a deck of self shuffling playing cards, a pack of exploding snap, a seven-lock trunk, an abacus (mostly because he just liked to play with them, more than because he would need one), a telescope, an hourglass (again, mostly just because he liked them), a magical camera and some spellotape. He had far too many things, really, but he did like to be prepared. He waited for his turn to come to pay, although he really had no idea how much all of this would come to. Sometimes, he liked having a rich parent that paid him to leave him alone. It was very useful when it came to schooling and needing new things.

Chloe walked into the hostel, she walked up to the counter "sorry do you know where I can get a Telescopes and gloves" she asked she didnt know where to get them and a student out side had tod her to come in here

Nataile put the telescope on the counter. "How much will it cost?" she asked, pulling out her money purse.

Gemini waved at all of the children who were leaving the shop at the same time, and then, she turned her attention to the boy who had just arrived.

"Six Galleons, dearie." She replied, gathering up the telescope. What big sellers they were today!

"Well hello there." Gem greeted the boy and gathered up ALL of his purchases, "That'll be 19 Galleons and 12 Sickles."

"Telescopes are in the back to the right, dear." She pointed them out with her wand, "What sort of gloves are you looking for? You might have to get those elsewhere."

"6 Galleons, dear." Gem smiled at the girl and wrapped up the purchase.

Arlo smiled at the shopkeeper, sticking his hand into his pocket and pulling out a handful of galleons, counting out 19. He put the remainder back into his pocket and took a handful of sickles out of another pocket, counting out 12 of those. He had actually expected his purchases to come to more than that but he wasn't bothered. He knew he needed to make his money last but he had a lot more on him than his brother realised. If he had known Arlo had this sort of money stashed away, it probably would all have been spent on drinks or something. "Is that right?" he asked the shopkeeper, wanting to be sure he was handing over the right amount.

She smiled at the woman as she went to the get the telescope. she brought it bact to the counter really quickly "em im not to sure to be honest" she said simply as she reached in her pocket to get her money "their like fire proof or something" she added with a friendly smile

Alexis stood in line at the counter and placed everything on the counter. She stood and waited patiently for the shopkeeper who was busy helping the other students. She counted up how much everything would cost. "16 galleons and 9 sickles. I hope that's right", she said to herself. "Hello, Miss, whenever you have a moment to spare. I'm ready to check out", she said to the shopkeeper.

Chris grabbed 6 galleons out of his pocket and set them on the counter and grabbed his telescope." Here you are, 6 galleons. Sorry I'm in a bit of rush. Thank you!" Chris said was he fast walked out the door. Quite unusual for him to do that but he just wanted to get his shopping done then gulp down a hot butterbeer.

"Spot on!" Gemini smiled and collected the money from the boy, "Would you like me to wrap that up for you, young man?"

"Oh, no, dear. I don't carry anything like that. Do you need them for potions? Your best bet would be trying Slug and Jiggers, I suppose." She collected the telescope and wrapped it up, "In the mean time, that'll be six galleons, miss."

"I'm sorry dear, but I can't sell invisibility cloaks to children." Gemini banished the cloak back to hang with the rest of them. "That'll be 8 Galleons, 5 Sickles and 28 Knuts."

"Not a problem!" Gem waved to the boy as he hurried out, and she dropped the money into the till.

Gemini shook her head, "Not a problem at all, dearie." She collected the money, and waved to the girl as she headed out.

"Thank you so much, for telling me that", Alexis said, "Like the other girl in front of me, I definitely don't want to break the law too". She was about to pay the shopkeeper when she realized the amount the shopkeeper had told her she owed. She looked at the items in her package and counted them out again. "I'm sorry, Miss. I don't mean to sound rude or anything, and I definitely don't want to waste your time, but I'm sure that my items cost more than 8 Galleons, 5 Sickles and 28 Knuts. Would you mind tallying up the amount again? I'm sure that I owe you more than that." she told the shopkeeper shyly.

Aiden looks at her father briefly before turning her attention to the shopkeeper. "Uhh... Sure. Thank you," she says calmly.

Without further due, Rudolphus puts six gold galleons on the counter. "Here you go."

"Thank you." she said as Gemini helped her get up. "And sorry, I didn't meant to, but I slipped." she smiled shyly.

Emily counted 12 galleons then the 6 sickles and afterwards handed them to the shopkeeper, she grabbed her things as she bid, "good day ma'am", to the shopkeeper.

Natalie placed 6 Galleons on the counter.

Alexis told the shopkeeper, "I'm sorry for all the confusion. This is what I would like to buy: one telescope, a Magical Trunk, a Mokeskin pouch, some everlasting candles, a pound of floo powder, a two-way mirror, and one last thing, a wizard chess set. If you could tell me what my total cost is, I'll pay and get out of your hair. Thank you so much for being so patient with me."

Arlo hesitated at the question, thinking that if it was wrapped up then he would just end up unwrapping it. On the other hand, it would look neater than a pile of objects. "Uh.. Yes please, Miss," he decided.

Lily made her way to the counter. "Just the invisibility cloak for me," she said with a smile, handing the shopkeeper 8 galleons.

"Hello? Can someone help me. I've got what I needed and I'm ready to make a purchase."Raven was very firm with her voice.
Raven's father's hand guided her to the counter and he checked his pocket.
"Yes, I think I have enough money for this." he said, very proud of his precocious daughter.

Gemini collected the money and wrapped up the purchase, "Have a lovely day, you two."

"Not a problem at all." She replied, patting the girl's shoulder, before she hurried back to the counter.

Gemini gathered up the money and waved to the girl, "To you too, dearie."

"There we are." Gemini placed the wrapped merchandise on the counter for the girl to take, and collected the money, "Have a lovely day."

"That comes to 16 Galleons, 14 Sickles and 28 Knuts, dear." Gemini replied with a nod.

With a swift nod, the woman tapped her wand and instantly wrapped up the purchase, then she slid it over to the boy, "Have a lovely day."

With a flick of her wand, Gemini banished the invisibility cloak back to where it belonged, "Sorry dearie, I can't sell cloaks to children, Ministry regulation."

Well, what a rude little thing. "6 Galleons, there."

At the counter Laurie stacked up her new equipment for the shop keeper to add up. She had decided on a telescope, a sneakoscope, wizard's chess (which she chose over gobstones), a magical trunk, and as a last minute decision she added on a lunarscope, and omnioculars.
"i think that will be all" she said to the shop keeper. She pulled out her little yellow coin purse, "how much will it be?" she asked, with twinkles in her eyes.

Alexis paid the shopkeeper the money that she really owed her. She could have walked out paying less, but she didn't want the shopkeeper to get into trouble when the till was counted at the end of the day. "Thank you again for your patience, Miss. I hope that the rest of your day will continue to be a good one". With a smile, Alexis picked up her packages and left the store.

"Here's the money!" Raven said, excited to get her new supplies. Her father put the money on the counter. Raven grabbed the items and looked around then walked into the street, wondering where to go next.

"Thank you miss," he said and with that, he picked up his purchases and headed for the door.
