Thalia entered Wiseacres Wizarding Equipment, quickly grabbing a telescope, spellotape, a pack of everlasting candles, and a magical trunk. She added up the total in her head: 8 galleons, 20 sickles, and got ready to pay for her items.

Quinn stepped up to the counter carrying (with some difficulty) a magical trunk (Lori had made sure her old one didn't survive the trip from Marseille to London), a crystal ball, spellotape, and a deck of self-shuffling cards. She had thought about buying a new chess set, but decided against it. She wasn't very good and it seemed a waste of money in the end. She waited patiently while the shopkeeper helped the people ahead of her.

Adrian walked up to the counter a little awkwardly. He didn't have anything to buy, because he just wanted to talk to the person at the counter, so he felt weird. But he made sure his face looked professional as he waited for someone to notice him.

The shop had been VERY quiet ever since the children went back to school, so when Gemini noticed that someone was standing at the counter, she smiled at him and walked over. "May I help you?"

littledhampir 05-19-2011 01:45 AM

Adrian smiled when someone came over to him. "Hello," he said. "I'm Adrian." It never hurt to be polite. ANYWAY..."I was wondering if-uh-you have any specials or something and would like an ad or something like that in the Daily Prophet."

Everett and his mother headed away from the shelves to the counter, he still holding the fanged frisbee in hand. Once they were at the front of the cue, he placed the fanged frisbee on the counter, and looked at the shopkeeper. "Just this please." He said, taking out the 10 sickles needed already.

Walking over to the counter, after having inspected the entirety of the shop, Kaela held a hulking magical trunk, a midnight blue telescope, and a magical camera. She smiled up to the shopkeeper and said, "This will be all for my purchase."

Alyssa was grateful that the shopkeeper over at Slugs and Jiggers Apothecary had told her that they had probably gone for a break because he was right, the store was open. She dashed in and grabbed the telescope she needed. She headed towards the counter before she realized that there was more to this store than just telescopes. There was a staircase that led upstairs. "I guess that's where guests who want to stay for awhile, go. Maybe one day when school's out we could spend a night or two here", she said to her parents.

As she turned and walked further into the store she saw a beautiful shimmering cloak hanging on a rack. But it wasn't just an ordinary cloak. It was an invisible cloak. She had heard that one existed but she had never seen one before. "This may come in handy one day", the mischievous part in her was thinking. But she knew that her parents wouldn't allow her to have it. So she reluctantly laid it aside and moved on to the other shelves checking out the other magical items in the store.

She noticed shelves containing magical items for transportation, storage, and other uses. She picked up some floo powder. "This will come in handy for traveling from one place to another, since I'm not allowed to disapparate yet and I'll definitely need a magical trunk and mokeskin purse, because I'm going to need something to put all these stuff I've just bought and that's not counting the stuff that I have at home from last year. Oh boy!."

But she was not done yet. She grabbed some everlasting candles because she knew that she would be doing some last minute, late night reading in the near future. She also picked up a two-way mirror, so that she could see her family, if she started to feel homesick, like she did the year before. She picked up what she needed and moved towards the counter, looking longingly at the Invisibility Cloak as she walked past it. She decided to ask her parents permission to buy one. "Can I have the Invisibility Cloak, Mom and Dad? I promise I will not misuse it to hurt anyone or to cheat". She waited while her parents talked it over. She saw her mother shaking her head as her father spoke with her, and her hopes kept sinking lower and lower. Finally her parents turned to her. They were both smiling. They told her that she could have one on the condition that she swore that she would never misuse it and use it for the wrong reasons. "I swear, I swear. Thank you so very much", she said and hugged them both. She quickly ran back and grabbed the cloak and added it to the pile she had placed on the counter.

She noticed that the shopkeeper was busy helping others, so she stood there waiting patiently with her parents, happy with the things that she had found in the store. While she waited she calculated how much she would owe the shopkeeper. 21 galleons and 11 sickles. That sounded like a lot of money, but she promised herself that she would make good use of everything she had bought today. "Whenever you ready, Miss", she told the shopkeeper, "I'm ready to check out".

The girl with a telescope cradled in her arms was walking behind her father. The telescope might be a little too long for her. But she wants it to be quick. There's nothing to enjoy by going out with her father or any of her family. Moving in front of Rudolphus, Aiden tip toes to put the telescope on the counter.

A hand slipped into his cloak, Rudolphus withdraws six gold coins out from it. "Six galleons, isn't it?" he asks the shopkeeper to make sure before making a payment.

nogoodforyou 08-14-2011 08:54 AM

Nora walked towards the counter and waited in line to pay for the telescope and the deluminator she was still holding in her arms, careful not to break them. Nope, she wouldn't want that, would she?

Now let's just hope that she won't have to wait for a long time, since she knew how clumsy she could sometimes be.

After gathering all she required, Pippa made her way to the counter to wait her turn to be served. She whipped her tattered school supplies list out of her pocket and began crossing off the things she'd gathered in the store;

One telescope, one magical trunk.. and of course, one packet of exploding snap, just a little something to keep herself entertained on the journey. She'd already read half of her textbooks already, after borrowing them off of her older cousin, so decided to treat herself.

At last, she was at the front of the line, and Pippa placed each item carefully onto the counter and began counting out her coins.

LunaPotter 08-14-2011 11:58 AM

Emily entered the shop, quietly looking for the items she needed.
After gathering them together, she walked to the counter, placed the telescope, the magical trunk, the Anti-Burglary Buzzer and the Mokeskin Pouch on the counter, "how much will these cost, ma'am?"

Tazzie 08-14-2011 12:04 PM

Beezus entered the shop, but accidentally stepped on something ! It blocked her way .
Uh-oh , she fell face down on the floor. :whaa:

"Help ?" she inquired.

marshmallowXpie 08-14-2011 02:29 PM

Clara had already made her way to many of the shops, but still, there were items she was in need of. Walking into Wiseacres, she spotted a blue telescope, just like that man from the apothecary had pointed out. Success! But before heading to the counter, she saw a magical trunk and figured that would probably come in handy as well. Lugging the trunk and telescope over the counter, she asked the shopkeeper, "Um, how much would this be?"

fernando76 08-14-2011 03:03 PM

Rosalie walked up to the counter and placed the heavy telescope on it. "How much is this going to be?"

"Sorry little one, I don't sell invisibility cloaks for the use of children, it's a Ministry restriction." With her wand, she summoned the cloak and placed it back on the display with the others, "19 Galleons and 3 Sickles for the rest of it then." The other items were spinning about in midair, wrapping up themselves and then placing themselves back on the counter top.

Eleven galleons. Alright.

Once the shopkeeper took the items, Nora had her arms free to look around in her small bag for the money. "Is that possib-" She suddenly stopped as she handed the galleons. Or course it was possible. It was magic. Anything was possible.

"I'd be grateful," she said, grinning.

Gem had waited for an answer before attempting to wrap up the telescope. She pulled her wand out and tapped it once, shrinking it down to an easier to carry size. "There you are, it'll wear off when you get home."

Nora watched curiously as the woman did her magic while she was wrapping up the telescope. She'll surely need to learn that, whatever it was. Especially when she had to buy all those books and a cauldron and only Merlin knows what else.

"Thank you!" The girl said cheerfully, as she took the much smaller telescope and the deluminator, which was small enough to stay in her bag. "Goodbye," she added with a smile, then walked out of the shop.

"Hello!" Chris said as he approached the counter with his telescope. " I have 1 telescope right here. And how much would that be?" Chris asked. This was his last thing on his list that he needed to get so he wanted to make it fast so he can get himself a butterbeer.
