Elnesiel smiled back and walked out of the store with what she had bought.

Selina smiled at the lady behind the counter. She felt quite foolish for forgetting that invisibility cloaks were for adults. Surely her mother had mentioned that to her in a previous conversation in preparation for her Diagon Alley outing alone.
"Right, of course you can't sell it to me. Thinking about it, why would you give a child an extremely dangerous magical article? You wouldn't."
With that Silena slid her final purchases into her expansion charmed bag and put her wallet away with the change the lady had returned to her from her previous slip up.
Chest fallen Selina left for the door, then suddenly turned back around.
"When I turn 17 can you have one waiting for me at the counter please? It's kind of a dream of mine to have one."

The twenty one year old laughed. Bad day? Not really! All the customers were so nice. "Yes. Plus those professors need to keep an eye on where you are going." Yeah, invisibility cloaks for young people at school? Not such a good idea. "Thank you!" She said with another small laugh as she scooped up the money.



Aww, it wasn't that dangerous really, it was only an invisibility cloak!"Well personally I think that children should be allowed to experiment with some 'dangerous magical items'." Her eyes twinkled. "However, that isn't exactly the same view that the Ministry and the owner of the shop seem to have." It was a shame that she had to deny the girl the cloak, she seemed heartbroken. "Of course I can!" Even if Roxy wasn't working here by then she would leave a note! Crushing dreams was not something she strived to do. "Enjoy the rest of your day now!"

"Yeah, sure kid." Dakota deposited the money and turned to watch the rest of the crowd. All children. Ew.

She was not impressed.

She WAS, however, impressed with her new hire. Good worker that one. Maybe she'd actually tell her that. Maybe. If she was feeling nice.

Oh great. Another kid who thought that money grows on trees. Did these kids understand how much money they were spending? REALLY?

She wouldn't ever point it out though. More money in her pocket made Dakota Bailey a happy camper.

With a frown, clearly not pleased, Dakota swiped her wand in the air, summoning every last item the lazy child requested, adding to it the most expensive best telescope, as requested. "50 galleons, 1 sickle and 28 knuts."

Osiris walked up to the counter and placed the basic black telescope and the mokeskin pouch on the counter. "Hello, how much is it for these two items?" :)

It seemed like the rush had died down in the store. Which was good. Maybe she could go upstairs and take a quick nap. If of course she was allowed. This job was actually getting tiring!

Oh! Another kid. "Hullo!" She said with a quick smile. "Those two will be 8 galleons." Roxy picked up the items and packed them up in a small bag.

"Great! Here you go" Osiris said as she reached into her bag and handed 8 galleons to the clerk who looked like she needed a nap... "Thank you! Bye!" :)

The assistant loved when the total was one simple price. It required so much less work on her part. Roxy opened up the register and dropped the money inside. "No problem dear! Have a nice day." Giving a wave at the small child she turned her attention onto the next customer.

"Er-Hii."Huh. Had she seen this boy before? It was possible. But Roxy couldn't remember, there had been so many costumers coming in and out. Maybe he even had her confused with Dakota? It was possible. "That will be 5 galleons, 8 sickles, and 28 knuts."

Raven draw some money, give it to Roxy, and give her some confused smile

Nimrodel smiled and picked up her Salvatore Ferragamo Leather Pink Purse and then got out 50 galleons and 1 sickles and 28 knuts and then handed them to the shopkeeper...Nimrodel would give a tip but the shopkeeper did seem annoyed and probablly wouldnt have noticed anyways...

Collecting the money, Roxy smiled back. "No problem! Come back again soon!" He had said he had been in here before.

As another costumer came up to the front desk Roxy smiled widened. Ha! Another big spender. The Assistant waited until the girl was finished covering the desk in all her items. Wow...she hadn't really expected that much.

Right away Roxy's eyes fell upon an item that many kids before hand, had tried to buy. "Sorry, but you have to be at least 17 to buy an Invisibility Cloak." Unfortunately those were the rules. Flicking her wand she levitated it back to it's rightful place on the shelf. "As for the room, how many days will you be planning on staying?" Yeah she needed to know this, then she could just add everything up after. "Oh! And Please sign this." She said pushing the Roster toward the girl.

"Three days?" Technically for the price of a bed here that was a lot. But Roxy wasn't about to say anything. If she wanted to stay three days then she would get what she wanted. "That will be 39 galleons, and 28 knuts in total." With this many sales Roxy should get employee of the month! Or...Assistant of the month? It didn't matter that she was the only Assistant, that was just technicalities.

Picking up the money, Roxy rang it into the cash and dropped them in. Turning to the girl she quickly went over the rules that were important for Brews and Stews. Because, there just had to be rules. "Thanks, and I hope you enjoy your stay." She finished lamely.

Salina smiled at Roxy, she seemed nice. She put her Wizard's Chess set, telescope and a roll of Spellotape. She whipped out her purse and checked that she had enough. Phew, she had 10 galleons after all, she took them out and put them on the counter.

"These should be 9 Galleons 12 Sickles, right?" she smiled at Roxy. Counting some more mentaly, Salina figured out that it would be 5 sickles change. She was always good at Arithmancy.

Hmm. Coffee sounded good about now. A nice large cup of coffee. It was too early in the morning! Why hadn't she gotten her coffee?! Oh! Customer. "Hullo there!" Roxy said as she smiled back toward the young girl.

Looking over the items again, Roxy calculated the total again and-AH. Yup, just like she suspected. The girl had been wrong. Luckily she checked it over. "Not quite. See everything would have been 9 galleons and 17 sickles. But since 17 sickles is 1 galleon your total is 10 galleons." Yup, yup. Picking up the money that the girl had put on the counter Roxy dropped it into the resister and quickly wrapped the chess board and the telescope. "There you go. Have a nice day!" She said as she put the items in a bag and handed them to the girl.

Trent walked up to counter and looked at his list for what must be the 57th time. A telescope was what he needed here. But he couldn't help noticing the massive sign under the counter which informed customers that invisibility cloaks were in stock. He really wanted one of them, he had heard of how his father used to sneak around the Hogwarts grounds with his friends using one.

"Hello. My name is Trent and I'm starting my first term at Hogwarts in a few days. Please can I have a telescope?

The shopkeeper smiled at him

"Actually could I have an invisiblity cloak as well please? It's not on my list but I've always wanted one. Would that be okay?"

Did these children REALLY not know how to shop for themselves? Was it HER job to go around and hold their hand and pick things out for them?

Well. She wasn't about to do it.

"Telescopes are at the far wall back there." She pointed with her wand, "And I don't sell Invisibility Cloaks to kids."

She didn't say she was sorry.

Because she wasn't.
