"There you go," she said cheerfully. "And by any chance do you know where I can get a Rune set for my Ancient Runes class?"

Riley took the money and dropped it in the till. He closed the drawer with his hip and pondered that question, "I can't say for sure, but perhaps you should inquire at the Apothecary, love."

"Hello Miss." Riley smiled at the girl, "Will this be all for you on this lovely day?" It WAS a lovely day, actually. Perhaps he'd lengthen his lunch break today. "10 Galleons and 3 Sickles."

"Hello, yes this well be it for today." Zoey told the man behind the counter as she open an old well used mokeskin pouch and looked through some of her money. She was sure she had some sickles but, she could not find them. So she gave him 11 Galleons.

After collecting all the supplies, Azureia walked towards the counter. Upon reaching it, she began pulling out her wallet saying "Abacus, lunarscope, crystal ball. If my math is right, that 9 galleons, 12 sickles right?"

PhoenixWizard 08-13-2012 03:10 AM

Angelina was so close to being done with shopping for this term. All she needed was things from Wiseacres and one more store. With getting one telescope, one abacus, a lunarscope and a crystal ball she was ready to pay. Walking up to the counter she placed her things down and waited for assistance.

thelittlestoneever 08-13-2012 02:09 PM

Juliette stood and waited in the line, waiting for her turn at the counter. This was her last shop for term, unless she decided that she wanted an owl and came back for one tomorrow. Which was good, because even though shopping was easy, she wanted to go home, sit in a chair and eat something,no matter how bad it was for her.

EvanescoEllee 08-13-2012 04:18 PM

Bae's stomach was rumbling unbelievably loudly. He hadn't eaten yet that day, having told himself he had to get his shopping done first, and this was one of the last shops he needed to go to.

He walked around the shop, picking up everything he needed, and then he went to join the line waiting to be served. He had collected several items on his way around the store; a remembrall, a set of self shuffling playing cards, a wizarding chess set, exploding snap, a fanged frisbee, a magic trunk, a telescope and an abacus (he was hopeless at even the simplest of math). He seemed to have bought far too much in every shop but he didn't particularly care. He had a feeling he had forgotten something but at least his father couldn't say he hadn't bought anything!!

GlassXRose 08-13-2012 09:34 PM

Sweet. Kanna loved this shop, even though she had only been in a few times with her mother. They had such odd things... Odd and wonderful. This year, she was allowed to get a seven-lock trunk. Her parents had been complaining of her lack of organization, so they both pitched in money to buy a seven-lock trunk for her. As long as she didn't lock the keys inside, she would be fine.

Kana was carrying in one hand the grey-blue canvas bag her mom had lent her to carry her purchases in. It had an extension charm in the bottom of it, so she could fit just about EVERYTHING inside. Just about. The girl had chin-length koolaid-red hair and was wearing a longsleeved grey shirt.

She found a beautiful silver telescope that she knew she HAD to have. Her aunt was passing down her crystal ball, so Kana wouldn't have to buy one... With some of her own extra money, she picked up a pack of self-shuffling playing cards. Finally, she picked out a seven-lock trunk and brought everything over to the counter.

She placed the telescope carefully on the counter, as well as the cards. It was probably impractical to place the trunk up there as well, so she left it by her feet. As she reached for her money in a back pocket she smiled across as the shopkeeper. "Good morning... Just these, and this," she said, nodding down at the trunk to make sure the shopkeeper saw it. Her father had expressed concers that they might not sell her one. It wouldn't be a problem-- She would be meeting him outside anyway to take the more delicate items home. If she couldn't purchase it herself, he would come in to do it.

Ah, his first customer of the summer rush. Riley leaned on the counter and took a quick inventory of the girl's purchases, 15 galleons and 12 sickles worth, to be exact.

"That'll be 15 galleons, love." Heck, he'd knock off the sickles for his first customer, even if she didn't know it.

He turned his eyes to the next customer, also a girl, and gave a charming smile. "What can I do for you today?" He waited to see what exactly she had to pay for.

"Well my boy, seems you've got quite the agenda for the school year, eh?" Riley eyed up all the cards and the wizard's chess set and laughed. This was the kind of purchase he would have made at that age.

"That'll be..." He paused for a second to add it all up, "13 galleons, 9 sickles and 24 knuts."

Bae nodded, grinning at the guy, "Yes, Sir!" He had every intention of having fun at school, but he would work hard too. Normally, his parents didn't let him play with magical things so he was going to make the most of it at school, that was for sure. "Thanks, Sir. Do you sell Protective Gloves here, as well?" he asked. He hadn't been able to find them there, but someone had told him to try there.

Angelina narrowed her eyes a little when he said it was just 15 galleons. At first she thought she added the prices up wrong. With the money she was ready to pay with in one hand, she handed the 15 galleons to the man. "What about the 12 sickles," she asked.

Quite a big thing for a little girl to be carrying, Riley noted, but he made no comments seeing as the girl didn't seem to mind in the slightest. "Alright then, that'll be 9 galleons, 8 sickles and 28 knuts."

He, he certainly wasn't going to stop her if she wanted to, but also, he was trying to be nice and do something SPECIAL. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.

"Oh," he nodded. That was where he had just come from, but obviously he had gone to the wrong apothecary or something. He wasn't sure. But he would find them in the end. "Alright," he nodded. "Thanks anyway, Sir," he smiled at him again, taking the money out and counting out his change, handing it to him.

"Thank you, sir," she nodded as she picked out nine galleons from her hand and tucking the rest away. In her front pocket, she was carrying the silver sickles, which she also fished out nine of, and handed the collection of coins over.

She dropped the playing cards into the bag as she set it down. Kanna then very, very, VERY carefully tipped the telescope on it's end and slid it down into the bag as well. As she secured the strap over her shoulder, she ruffled her red hair out of her face, sizing up the trunk. It wasn't too bad. Just awkward. She was really glad she had arranged for her dad to meet her to take the delicate/heavy stuff away.

With both hands, one on each handle, she lifted the trunk up to her waist. Wasn't so bad. But it probably looked wierd-- The skinny Ravenclaw hoisting such a bulky object.

She looked over to the younger student and spoke up about the gloves. "You can find the protective gloves at Madam Malkin's," she informed him with a smile. "It's just down there aways," she nodded her head in the direction she knew Madam Malkins to be.

CJP 08-16-2012 10:27 PM

Last on her list were rune stones, and what better place to get them then wisacres. It seemed like this would be the most likely place, because rune stones were hard to find in diagon ally.

Olivia searched the shop but still, they were really hard to find. She would have to go look in Knocturn Ally next. Which of course she wouldn't mind, of course; her father worked down there, perhaps she would pay him a visit.

Alas! There they were, behind the counter. "A set of those rune stones from behind the counter please" At least they looked like rune stones from a distance, could be something else.

If he wanted to take off the extra price, then Angelina was alright with that. She never really let others do that. Who knew how any times the shopkeepers have done something like that, so she didn't want them to get in trouble. With being the first customer, she couldn't give any little chaos. Smiling Angelina nodded, "Okay, if you insist." That was very nice of him as well.

"Ah, there you go, kid." Riley nodded to the boy who had just recieved the answer to his question, though he thought it was odd that they would sell protective gloves at Madame Malkins and not the Apothecary.

"Thank you miss." He collected money and gave change where due and smiled at the both of them. "You two have a nice day now."

Brooklyn's load was surprisingly light this time around considering she was only buying a few items this time around. Well, at least that meant that she wouldn't feel like she had broken her back or something by the time she got out of the store.

Although, that was probably her own fault. If she didn't insist upon leaving her mother outside instead of taking her in maybe she wouldn't have to carry her own stuff.

... Oh, who was she kidding? She could survive carrying things. Jeez.

SPOILER!!: Items

1 Customizable Clock
1 Telescope
1 Self-Shuffling Paying Card Deck

Feli approached the counter, observant eyes following certain movements before looking back to the cashier, coming to a halt and placing a pensieve on the counter. After making sure it had come to a safe rest on the flat top, she added a mokeskin pouch and spello-tape. She'd have liked to have picked up some enchanted coins, a two-way mirror, or wizard's chess, but she had forgotten to get her school supplies beforehand, so she needed to watch her budget. Wouldn't want to come without an essential on the first day of class.

Brooklyn, with only a small amount of difficulty, set the cauldron of STUFF on the counter and found the right amount of money. "Thank you... Um, this should be right." ...I think.

She had begun to lose track of her money a few stores back but she trusted her mother's math skills. Mostly.

"Good morning to you." Riley greeted his next customer with a smile and picked the items out of the pensive and wrapped them all up. Once he was finished, he pushed her packages towards her and leaned on the counter, "That'll be 8 galleons and 3 sickles, miss."

"Morning!" Felicia slid the money across the counter. Sure, it was expensive, but it wasn't as if it was a surprise. "Thank you." Taking the packages and leveling them under one arm, she glanced up at him. "You're pretty, by the way," she said with a smile. With that, the first-year pushed open the door and left.

Chloe made iy to the counter with her awesome wizadring camera. There she saw something rather odd. The was a sign about renting hostels. They have hostels here, thats so cool. Say, I may be able to use on next week. My apartment is being fumigated and I was thinking of going to Leaky Couldron, but this place seemed way more awesome. I will definately ask the cashier about a room. With all that in mind Chloe waited in line to get her turn with a cashier.
