Damien looked at Sabel and quirked an eyebrow. HOW did he refuse her and not get SHOUTED at. GAH. Gemini nagged him to death everyday and Merlin forbid he say NO. Sheesh. Why was it all his fault? Heh. He did love her, though, so it was all okay to him. "Well luckily I AM a fabulous husband. The best." Because he was the best at EVERYTHING. Heh. Just ask him, he would tell you. Then she asked what they were about for. Without missing a beat he smiled sweetly at her and shook his head. "You have so little faith in we menfolk? I really did just come by to give you muffins and a visit with Sabel, love." Aside from the WORK bit that was. But he could not talk about all of that. Could NOT. He winked at her and blew her a little kissy. |

A small smile touched Sabel's lips at Gemini's offer. "I'll be sure to let you know if I get peckish in the next few minutes." As for the object, he gave it one final consideration before pulling his hand away. No matter what Gemini said, he couldn't take anything for free from her and there was no actual interest in the object. Just a distraction. But he was halted from making a comment about the piece with Gemini's next question and Damien's response. His eyes flicked between the two. It wasn't his place to say a peep, or to even have an opinion on the matter. But, as with everything, he had a serious opinion on this. And there was something else. A slow, creeping realization. Parting from the counter he gave the street one last glance before stepping towards one of the aisles. "Damien, could I speak with you a moment, please?" |
"Work has been dreadfully slow actually. I had some free time and Sabel was around so here we are. We might ought to get back sooner rather than later, though," he said as he pulled his pocketwatch out of his waistcoat and glanced at it. Sheesh. She was a Seer... he knew that. If she could SEE this whole thing it would be a good and a bad thing. Good: He wouldn't have to keep anything from her anymore. Bad: She would worry greatly. That tone... Sabel was walking on thin ice if he thought they would discuss anything in Gemini's presence. Cutting his eyes to the boy Damien pursed his lips and shook his head. "I promise it can wait a few moments, kid. Let's finish up this visit with Gem and then we can head back and you can talk to me all you want," he said with a pointed nod. |

Sabel blinked at Gemini, watching her go with some hesitation. He didn't need her taking his side, that was sure to put Damien in a might bit of a foul mood. ....And what did one know? The mood was coming. Although, really he couldn't blame that on Gemini. Nope, it was all him and his mouth. With some agitation of his own, Sabel's hands came up in defense of himself. "Alright, I got it. Not a word." Really, he wondered what would have happened if he had insisted to talk to Damien. If it had been about, oh say, the reason they were on patrol standing outside in the street. A heavy sigh left him and he moved back to his spot where he could fiddle and keep watch at the same time. |
Gemini returned. She had peeked out of her office to see if Damien and Sabel were still talking.... but... errr. they weren't. "Here, love." She handed a sealed envelope to Damien, "If you don't mind." Hmmm. She smiled and glanced at Sabel, thought about offering a muffin again, but he looked busy. "I suppose you two are off then?" SAD. She SO liked her visits. She made a little sad face and pouted in Damien's direction. |
A family approached the counter. There was the mother, the father, their teen son, Hades, eleven-year-old Vlimia and Scarlet, the youngest in the family. The mother walked up to the counter along with her family. Hi, she said warmly. How much for this Customizable Clock with all of us on it... she said plonking the heavy clock on the counter ...and the stuff my children want. She said. Vlimia took it upon herself to be next. Hi, how are you? She said politely. I'd like a Remembrall -I'm awfully forgetful- and this self-shuffling deck of cards - whenever I shuffle I manage to get everything on the floor. She smiled, looking over at her brother. Hello, Greeted Hades pleasantly. I'd like this Gobstones set and the Wizards Chess board and peices, please. The family waited as their purchases were tallied up. |

it was the first time Janice went in the shop. Quite nice, she thought. She quickly went to the counter with the things she wanted to buy and bid the shopkeer 'Hi'. "I'd like to buy these, please." she said while putting the things on the counter. A set of wizard's chess, a Lunarscope, and a Crystal Ball. She then looked at the Hogwarts supply list in her hands, and there was an Abascus thing written on it. "And can I ask you something?" she asked. "What's an 'Abascus'? In here it said that I need one." |
Alyssa carried all her items up to the counter and placed them on it. "Excuse me, I would like to pay for these items. 1 Abacus 1 Lunascope 1 Crystal Ball 2 Everlasting Candles 1 roll of Spellotape 1 magical camera "I believe I owe you 14 galleons and 1 sickle. Please correct me if I'm wrong." Alyssa smiled at the shopkeeper as she took the money out of her purse to pay her. |

All there she nodded and smilied her work was done! Almost! Well she thought... |

SPOILER!!: Gemini Vlimia frowned slightly as it seemed the lady didn't care to share how she was doing today, but it was quite busy and the woman must be tired. Vlim put fifteen galleons on the counter. "Keep the change. And my initials are V.M." Vlimia said, closing her dragonskin wallet. She sighed a little, thinking of how people (especially shopkeepers) misjudged her because she had a lot of money and nice things. Well, she wasn't spoilt. And there wasn't anything wrong with having money to spare. Most of her money went towards school stuff and gifts for people. And the rest of the stuff... well, she was getting something for herself. What a terrible crime that really was. Oh well, this shopkeeper didn't seem to categorize her. |
