When your shopping experience, or stay has come to an end, please make your way to the front of the shop, where the check out counter is located. Check out of your room, make your purchases, request gift wrapping, or direct general questions to the shopkeeper.
Once you leave the shop, you will find yourself on the South End of the Street. We hope you enjoyed your time in Wiseacres, and that you come again soon!
OOC: Under no circumstances should you RP for the Shopkeeper. Wiseacres is a very large store, and I may be busy with another customer, please wait your turn patiently, everyone will get the proper amount of attention.
Invisibility Cloaks, Flying carpets and timeturners will not be sold to underage children, and must go through Ministry clearance. The shopkeeper reserves the right to deny sale of any item she deems worthy.
Damien looked at Sabel and quirked an eyebrow. HOW did he refuse her and not get SHOUTED at. GAH. Gemini nagged him to death everyday and Merlin forbid he say NO. Sheesh. Why was it all his fault? Heh. He did love her, though, so it was all okay to him.
"Well luckily I AM a fabulous husband. The best." Because he was the best at EVERYTHING. Heh. Just ask him, he would tell you.
Then she asked what they were about for. Without missing a beat he smiled sweetly at her and shook his head. "You have so little faith in we menfolk? I really did just come by to give you muffins and a visit with Sabel, love." Aside from the WORK bit that was. But he could not talk about all of that. Could NOT. He winked at her and blew her a little kissy.

"Hmmm." Gemini glanced at Damien, almost like she didn't believe him. Now that she was thinking on it, she was detecting a weird kind of vibe from the two men.
Weird.. she just wasn't sure what it was, exactly. "You could say that." She replied finally and smirked in Damien's direction. "Work's been slow then?" If they had time to visit her, it must be, right?
A small smile touched Sabel's lips at Gemini's offer. "I'll be sure to let you know if I get peckish in the next few minutes." As for the object, he gave it one final consideration before pulling his hand away. No matter what Gemini said, he couldn't take anything for free from her and there was no actual interest in the object. Just a distraction.
But he was halted from making a comment about the piece with Gemini's next question and Damien's response. His eyes flicked between the two. It wasn't his place to say a peep, or to even have an opinion on the matter. But, as with everything, he had a serious opinion on this. And there was something else. A slow, creeping realization.
Parting from the counter he gave the street one last glance before stepping towards one of the aisles. "Damien, could I speak with you a moment, please?"

"Work has been dreadfully slow actually. I had some free time and Sabel was around so here we are. We might ought to get back sooner rather than later, though," he said as he pulled his pocketwatch out of his waistcoat and glanced at it. Sheesh. She was a Seer... he knew that. If she could SEE this whole thing it would be a good and a bad thing. Good: He wouldn't have to keep anything from her anymore. Bad: She would worry greatly.
That tone... Sabel was walking on thin ice if he thought they would discuss anything in Gemini's presence. Cutting his eyes to the boy Damien pursed his lips and shook his head. "I promise it can wait a few moments, kid. Let's finish up this visit with Gem and then we can head back and you can talk to me all you want," he said with a pointed nod.

"Slow is better sometimes." Gemini said with a nod, though it was obvious in her tone that her thoughts were far away. She blinked at the two and shook her head at Damien. "Oh, you grump. Go talk to the boy. I have to get something from my office anyway. I need you to send it out for me." Gem didn't have an owl in her shop, and she preferred not to leave, if she could help it.
"I'll be back in a few minutes." She stood slowly from her chair and waddled walked back to her office.
Damien nodded in agreement with Gem. Slow WOULD be better. That much was for sure. And then... Damien smiled falsely apologetic to his wife and nodded once more. "Sure thing, babe." He waited until Gemini was out of sight and he dropped his voice as he looked at Sabel. "Not here, not now. You got it? We will talk about this LATER," he said with an even tone.
Sabel blinked at Gemini, watching her go with some hesitation. He didn't need her taking his side, that was sure to put Damien in a might bit of a foul mood.
....And what did one know? The mood was coming. Although, really he couldn't blame that on Gemini. Nope, it was all him and his mouth. With some agitation of his own, Sabel's hands came up in defense of himself. "Alright, I got it. Not a word."
Really, he wondered what would have happened if he had insisted to talk to Damien. If it had been about, oh say, the reason they were on patrol standing outside in the street. A heavy sigh left him and he moved back to his spot where he could fiddle and keep watch at the same time.

Gemini returned. She had peeked out of her office to see if Damien and Sabel were still talking.... but... errr. they weren't.
"Here, love." She handed a sealed envelope to Damien, "If you don't mind." Hmmm. She smiled and glanced at Sabel, thought about offering a muffin again, but he looked busy. "I suppose you two are off then?" SAD. She SO liked her visits. She made a little sad face and pouted in Damien's direction.

A family approached the counter. There was the mother, the father, their teen son, Hades, eleven-year-old Vlimia and Scarlet, the youngest in the family.
The mother walked up to the counter along with her family. Hi, she said warmly. How much for this Customizable Clock with all of us on it... she said plonking the heavy clock on the counter ...and the stuff my children want. She said.
Vlimia took it upon herself to be next. Hi, how are you? She said politely. I'd like a Remembrall -I'm awfully forgetful- and this self-shuffling deck of cards - whenever I shuffle I manage to get everything on the floor. She smiled, looking over at her brother.
Hello, Greeted Hades pleasantly. I'd like this Gobstones set and the Wizards Chess board and peices, please.
The family waited as their purchases were tallied up.
Tim walked to the Counter with his Nephew Fred and Said''I would like an Invisibility Cloak and a Remembrall.''He leant Down to His Son And Said''What Do you want,Anything cause it's your Birthday.''He said smiling.Fred stood up on his tippy toes and said''I would like A Gobstones SetAnd Wizards chess Please.''He said smiling like His Uncle.
it was the first time Janice went in the shop. Quite nice, she thought. She quickly went to the counter with the things she wanted to buy and bid the shopkeer 'Hi'.
"I'd like to buy these, please." she said while putting the things on the counter. A set of wizard's chess, a Lunarscope, and a Crystal Ball. She then looked at the Hogwarts supply list in her hands, and there was an Abascus thing written on it.
"And can I ask you something?" she asked. "What's an 'Abascus'? In here it said that I need one."

Alyssa carried all her items up to the counter and placed them on it. "Excuse me, I would like to pay for these items.

"I believe I owe you 14 galleons and 1 sickle. Please correct me if I'm wrong." Alyssa smiled at the shopkeeper as she took the money out of her purse to pay her.

She headed to the counter as planned still staring around the shop staring at all the different magical objects and what not! ''Excuse me ma'am could these please,''she asked poilitly.. enough
She ran through the list as she did for every shop

She looked down at her magic trunk that held her other purchases: one purple telescope, an hourglass with enough blue sand to run for an hour and a mokeskin pouch. "How much for all of this? And I was wondering if I could get my initials put on the telescope and my magic trunk?" Vlim enquired politely.

Vlimia frowned slightly as it seemed the lady didn't care to share how she was doing today, but it was quite busy and the woman must be tired. Vlim put fifteen galleons on the counter. "Keep the change. And my initials are V.M." Vlimia said, closing her dragonskin wallet. She sighed a little, thinking of how people (especially shopkeepers) misjudged her because she had a lot of money and nice things. Well, she wasn't spoilt. And there wasn't anything wrong with having money to spare. Most of her money went towards school stuff and gifts for people. And the rest of the stuff... well, she was getting something for herself. What a terrible crime that really was. Oh well, this shopkeeper didn't seem to categorize her.
"Hello," Taylor smiled as sweet as she could, "May i please buy these items?" She laid a telescope,Foe-glass, Remembrall, Wizard's Chess, Exploding Snap, Two-way mirror, and 2 Everlasting Candles on the counter.
