The doors of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes first opened in the summer of 1996, sparking the reality of what had been a dream for the Weasley twins. In the years since then, the laughter has continued and the bell above the door rings consistently in the busy times. The bright store has traded hands between a handful of shopkeepers, but the legacy of the Weasley twins continues through the light and laughter in the air at any moment of the day.
Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes sells a range of items, separated into different areas of the store over two floors. You’ll find a myriad of unorganised displays in the aisles enticing shoppers to buy both tricks and treats such as punching telescopes, canary creams and anti-gravity hats. In recent decades, the store has expanded their range of stock and now sells the very objects from your child’s wildest dreams.. toys and forever floating balloons! It’s not easy to miss, but on the right of the second floor is a violently pink area full of WonderWitch products. The display here is full of bright pink flowers and confetti surrounding the stock of love potions and other items. Just a few footsteps away is the Pygmy Puff area where you can select a new friend in all shades of pink and purple with a matching cage!
As you reach the back of the store, you’ll find the queue for the counter where the shopkeeper will get you served as quick as they can. If you were looking for the Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes brand of fireworks, then here’s where to come as they are stored behind the counter on the highest of shelves. Safety first, folks.

No, that didn't mean she knew it was Jaxon right away until she turned to look at him when he spoke to her but she did know that a boy about her age was close to her. She figured he was looking at everything just as she had been.
"Hey! I come in here from time to time when I'm close by," Rylee smiled back warmly. "I'm not really sure. I was considering getting something for my nephew but I can't decide what." The little guy was only two years old so she didn't want to get him anything he would grow out of playing with to fast. "Maybe a teddy bear... he loves Winnie the Pooh so another bear could be good, right?"
"What about you? Are you a prankster?" Was that why he was in this shop?
He was glad she didn't jump when he spoke to her as that would have been a very bad thing of him to do, scare someone he knew and end up creating an unnecessary scene in the middle of a shop thus wanting to curl up into a ball as all the heads would have turned in their direction.
"Oh I see! So you are a regular in here just like me! Sweet! " is glad someone else would understand his love for these contraptions that brought endless hours of fun to people of all ages from kids to teens to adults to oldies! "Your nephew.. eh? Hmm let's see... " starts looking around to see any thing a kid could love and not get hurt by "Me? Yeah I've always been a prankster but I also love anything that I can use to pass the time too" smiles looking back at her
"How old is your nephew? I have a few ideas for him if you don't wanna get him another Teddy Bear" though he knew that if the little guy cherished the bear his aunt gave him he could end up keeping that bear for many many years. He had a bear that his grandpa received when he was a boy, Jax cherished that bear as it reminded him of his grandpa who was no longer around to give him the great advice that had helped Jax.

Rylee would have had to be very absorbed in what she was doing for Jax to have really made her jump. Constant vigilance was still very much a thing even though she wasn't currently at Hogwarts but summer break tended to make her just a tad bit more relaxed. The need to be looking over her shoulder every second of the day wasn't as strong right now.
While she wouldn't consider herself a regular of the shop it might appear to others that she was. She had been in here more than a handful of times. "Mhmm, I tend to go for simple things." Nothing that would really harm anyone. "Nothing wrong with that. Everyone needs something to keep them busy."
"I don't mind getting him a teddy bear since he loves his 'Beee' so much." Bee was what Saros called his Winnie the Pooh plushie. "He's nearly two and half. So not a tiny ickle baby but still young." Rylee looked back towards the shelves loaded with toys. "Maybe he would like a rocking horse. It would keep him in one spot for more than five seconds," she laughed. And little Ryan would be able to use it to whenever he came over to visit.

It didn't bode well when students of schools had to be constantly vigilant due to the goings on of their school. He hated having to keep an eye over his shoulder, school was not the fun place he had heard it had been at some points. He had some fun at the school but not as much he would have liked to.
She definitely seemed like a regular even if she had only made a handful of visits to the store. But it was an amazing store so even a few visits can make it alot of fun! He looked to his left as someone was watching a mini quidditch demo in action, this lit up Jaxon's face as if he was a kid again! Man he missed those days! Looking back at Rylee he smiled "oh I see! Like a ... pygmy puff? Those are pretty simple and quite entertaining too at times" remembered seeing a few I the dorms and common rooms chirping away. Nods in agreement "Yes exactly... and this store could keep me busy for hours just trying everything out! Every year I come here and am amazed by the stock they have!"
Nods as he listens "Well if you don't mind him having another bear there is the Bear Hug Bears which may not keep him entertained for long though unless he loved hugs" there were a few things he could have "oh two and a half? Hmm interesting. Well you could get him some shooting stars provided he doesn't try to catch the stars... Yup! Rocking horse sounds good too.. or a magizoo set or miniature dragons... though they do blow the occasional fire... So maybe not that.. may be a Hogwarts train set... get him ready for the day he will be traveling on the train" realised he hadn't stopped talking for about 5mins as he tried to give her some ideas being kind of like a big kid himself

With an older sister and lots of older friends, Rylee knew all about Hogwarts reputation for not being the least dangerous school around. Something was always happening there and knew a great deal of the incidents that had come to play, first hand. Most of which she had chosen not to speak of anymore but from time to time a conversation about such happenings would occur. Now that she was getting she hoped she was a bit more prepared.
A pygmy puff? "Simple and absolutely adorable! I don't have one though, my older sister does. I have lots of other cute pets." Like her fox, rat and kitten. Rylee laughed nodding in agreement. "Every time I come in here there's more to do and more to look at. Do you have a favorite item?" She was always curious as to what other people liked when it came to pranks.
Rylee grinned brightly up at Jaxon. He had definitely given her a long list of ideas! "I think I'll go with the Bear. He does enjoy giving and receiving hugs." That way whenever her nephew missed her he could hug his teddy bear. "The train set sounds like fun though and so does the magizoo." Those might be something worth looking at for next Christmas and Saros' third birthday. The shooting stars would be really cool for Reese! He was older sure but her brother really enjoyed the sky and all things involved with it.

Unfortunately it had come as a bit of a surprise for Jaxon as to what happened at the school and how often these happened. It often made him wonder if the teachers were doing anything about it and trying to keep their students free from harm, imagine the outrage from parents if something did happen to student. As much as he lived his family he really enjoyed going to school to see friends he might not otherwise see.
Nods, yes quite adorable those little puffs were! "Yes exactly! Though I'm not sure how safe they are on a two year old if I'm honest" oh her sister has one? Then they know more than he does about them for sure! "Oh! Well then you know how safe they are. You have more pets apart from that cute little kitten you have?" oh gosh yes how right she was! Nods "Yes exactly! Hence why I have to keep coming here to keep up with the trends of what is new and stuff!" gosh!! His favorite?? That was so hard to answer! Practically the whole shop! But if he had to choose one thing? "Goodness you are asking a very tough question there!! But if I had to choose one? It would be either the trick wands or ...the punching telescope! But I like most of what's in this shop! " leans into whisper "Even tried to grow a manly moustache to see if I could look old enough for..... er... well... let's just say it didn't work as well as I had hoped" probably didn't follow the instructions properly though he was sure he had. Gosh almost let slip what he gets up to prank wise. "love fireworks too! Expensive but they are good!"
Smiles as she grins at him "That's a good choice! You can always get him the rest when he is older, no age limit on when to gift them if he like me loves everything from here" no matter how old Jax got he would come here for the rest of his life! "Oh they are indeed great fun! Think I've had replace a few things over the years, especially some of magizoo animals" mom didn't appreciate finding them running around the house "Oh a tip! The shooting stars are great in a dark room or outside your window if your room is too small" last thing you need is a smouldering star on your carpet flooring leaving marks all over them. He was surprised his mom hadn't banned him from this shop yet!

Since the summer, Galilea had been working on finalising a new line of products she'd wanted in the store since she'd been here. However, something had always came up and disrupted her plans. But here she was, in HER store with HER plans in hand.
She tucked them under the counter out of view and busied herself with making sure the on-shelf items were in the right places.
Why did her child insist upon moving things around when she wasn't listening? She definitely needed to get Fitz a hobby for the weekends that he wasn't in school.

Once Levi came into the store to cover for him, Atticus took a sampling of his products and headed out into the alley. His first stop would be Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes and he paused as he entered, looking around for the shopkeeper. Ah, there she was.
Of course he'd stop at the stores with the most attractive shopkeepers first. Putting on to be what he deemed to be his most charming smile, Atticus made his way over to her. "Good afternoon. How's business today?"

The quieter days in store were those that she often had the radio playing in the background much like today. Otherwise she felt herself going crazy over the silence, so she used any means to stay away from that. She looked up when she heard the bell above the front door, smile widening to greet a customer.
It wasn't explicitly a customer, though, but she smiled still. "Afternoon, Atticus. A quiet day today, middle of the month and people haven't been paid yet, I suppose. What can I help you with today?"

Galilea was among those most excited for the Quidditch World Cup. Her family were big sport fans and those that resided in Italy had already made plans to come and stay at her home or around the city for the summer. Quidditch had been part of her life since she was a little girl and it was something that her son had been brought up to love, also. His Uncle Tristan played for the Wigtown Wanderers and Fitz would hang off his every word when he spoke about flying.
The family already had plans for parties with each round that came and she'd been working around the clock to perfect the fireworks for those parties. They just needed the addition of team colours as matches were announced. Which meant that Galilea was able to start selling them in the shop for others.
She put up a large sign in the window, and also flyers around Diagon Alley for anyone interested.
Need fireworks for your Quidditch World Cup parties? We have your back here at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes! Enquire within.
She was ready with her order forms at the counter and could pretty much fulfill any firework needs outside of those listed in her inventory list. People wanted what they wanted and she was ready to deliver.

Summer was going to be busy for Ella Summers. Quidditch World Cup excitement had already taken over her household, her family being the enthusiasts they were, her husband being a quidditch player himself. Also there was the small fact that her baby girl was turning ten years old this summer and was expecting the birthday to end all birthdays. The blonde had no idea how it had happened, Cecelia growing up so quickly and with a confidence that both delighted and scared the living daylights out of her mom. She could swear the kid had been three just yesterday and running around the house after the dogs, giggling in girlish delight, and now she was talking about Hogwarts and being on her own and just no. What did you even get a ten year old for her birthday? What had she wanted back when she was ten? Something told her gummy worms and an elephant stuffy weren't going to cut it for her kid.
...Ella needed help.
Heading into Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, lured by the huge sign and the promise of assistance where gifts were concerned, the former Hufflepuff marched straight over to the counter and offered the woman behind it a tired smile. "Please tell me you know something about gifts for ten year old girls." Please.

Busying herself with the things she had been putting off for a while, Galilea was at the counter putting order forms into envelopes and stamps onto packages that she needed to take to the post office later. The individual orders for fireworks had been a hit already and as the competition advanced, they were becoming more and more frequent. She was happy with the progress of it and glad that the idea had worked well. Looking up when the bell over the door went, she was ready for the customer but surprised when she came straight for the counter.
Yikes.
This looked like a woman on a mission. She tucked the envelopes and address forms underneath the counter and out of sight and even hid the betting form under it all. She was an adult. She could put some money on a score if she wanted to. "I sure can try! What does she like?" The truth was, she knew more about gifts for boys.

"Well, she's obsessed with all things quidditch, but we've got so much of that at the house already. I was hoping to go in a different direction." Besides, Alec was probably already looking into a custom broom knowing him. "She's really into creatures, particularly unicorns, too. Oh and she loves exploring. She's a bit too adventurous, if you ask me." She had this HUGE personality that Ella didn't always understand, let alone know where it came from, but she wanted to foster Cecelia's sense of wonder. She wanted her to enjoy being a kid. "Merlin, I don't even know if any of that is helpful, I'm sorry." She looked a bit sheepish, gaze shifting to the displays in the immediate area. "Got any ideas?"

"I'm sure she'll have fun with the upcoming summer, then. Are you taking her to any of the games?" Although Fitz loved Quidditch, he wasn't what they would call obsessed. If only she had an obsessed kid.. Galilea spared a glance towards the shop ahead of her and nodded. "Ok, let's start with a balloon. It'll never deflate. Unicorn?" To keep up with the ideas she was going to reel off, Galilea began to write them down on a piece of parchment.
"Perhaps a pygmy puff? Have you considered that for her? Preparing her for a pet at school should she get one?" That reminded her to do something like that for Fitz before he went off to school. Except he would be attending Durmstrang and not Hogwarts. "What about our miniature dragons toy? If you combine it wiiiith... hm... yes, if you combine it with the Hogwarts Express train set.. she'll have a right old adventure!"
"Or a trick or two? Headless hats go down a treat with the younger kids."
This was, in Józef Kowalski's very high opinion, the greatest, most coolest, only shop worth visiting, shop in Diagon Alley. And so it was the first place he went to, as soon as he managed to distract his sister and disappear into the crowd.
He needed to stock up before he went back to school, and... Well, maybe he'd pick up some Quidditch stuff, too! So, yeah, Poland hadn't even made it close to the final this year, but one day, with him at the helm, they would. And then HIS face would be plastered across merchandise.
For now, though, he wanted a moustache, some stink pellets and.... OOOH, did he have enough money for an anti-gravity hat?!

Alexander wanted to go into ALL the shops. Okay, maybe not all of them because that would take a long time and some of them were very boring. But he did want to go into most of them. Not that he was going to buy things in most of them, but it was always good to see all of his options before making a decision.
Alexander had all the money he needed for his school books and other school supplies, plus some extra for something fun. And if he wanted fun this was certainly a good place to go. He could pick up something for himself, or he could get something for his sister. He walked through the shelves, wondering if Willow would be interested in any of the items. And THEN when he came around another corner he saw somebody from school that he recognized. They may not have been friends really but he recognized him and that was exciting. Alexander smiled and waved and moved closer. "Hello!" He greeted brightly.

Céline didn't really care about shopping. Or going to Diagon Alley. Yet here she was, shopping. In Diagon Alley. Not a football pitch IN SIGHT. After a mandatory trip to get new robes Céline had ditched her mam and rushed off to Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, if she couldn't play football her mam had told her to leave her football home this was the next best place.
She didn't have any money on her, but if she saw something really really really nice she'd beg her mam for a bit of change. A solid tactic. For now just having a look would have to do. Céline glanced around hoping to maybe, just maybe, run into one of her pals, but nope. Just Max. "Hiya!"
Or... She squinted at Max. Or the other one. That looked like the Max but wasn't the Hufflepuff boy. It was the other one. The not so shy one. WELL.

Was there a mirror in here?
There really should be a mirror in here.
Józef Kowalski needed there to be a mirror in here. Because right then he was holding up little packages with magic moustaches in them and trying to see which one would suit him best. The only problem was that although he was holding the pictures up against his face, he couldn't see what they looked like because there was no mirror in here.
It was as he was scanning the room wildly for a reflective surface that the first voice reached him. Swinging around, handlebar-moustache box held against his upper lip, Jó eyed the boy who'd greeted him - he recognised him, presumably from school, but didn't know him. That didn't stop him from barking his question, though. "Got a mirror?!" It was urgent.
The arrival of another voice was a pleasant surprise to Józef when he realised it was a girl. Had he known that said girl thought he was Max, he would definitely have reacted differently, but Jó was happy assuming she was saying hi because she mad fancied him. He grinned back, though it wasn't completely visible, and then quickly swapped boxes to display a 'middle-age beard'. "Which one looks better?"

To keep up with the ideas she was going to reel off, Galilea began to write them down on a piece of parchment.
"Yeah, that's the plan. Her dad scored some tickets, so she's over the moon." But Cecelia was over the moon about a great many things. The girl was excited about life and it was a great thing to witness. "Are you going to any?" Since they were on the topic and because the woman was being incredibly helpful, which was absolutely appreciated.
"You might be a genius, do you know that?" Ella offered a relieved smile and stood up straighter, suddenly more excited than worried about getting gifts for her mini-me. "I love the idea of the balloon and actually, a pygmy puff would be perfect. It'd teach her responsibility. She's grown up with pets, but none that she was solely responsible for. I think that could be great." And she liked the idea of Cecelia taking on that role. If she wanted to feel grownup, that was a great way to start. "Have you got the charmed dragons that behave like the real thing? I think she'd love that. I work with dragons myself."

Or... She squinted at Max. Or the other one. That looked like the Max but wasn't the Hufflepuff boy. It was the other one. The not so shy one. WELL.

Alexander turned when he heard another voice. It was a girl, an older girl. He didn't know what her name was but he did recognize her from school. And she was saying hi, but not to him. He assumed that meant her and the boy knew each other. Did that mean he felt left out? No, in fact it did not. What it did mean was that there were more people for him to talk to, which was exciting. "Hello." He gave her the same cheerful smile.
His attention was turned back to the boy. Józef. His name was Józef, he remembered that. And he was trying on fake mustaches. The question about which one looked better may have been more directed to the girl than to him, but Alexander had never been shy about stepping in to conversations. So he felt it was fine to offer his own opinion on the matter. "I like the mustache." It was better than the beard, in his opinion, though it did sort of depend on the look he was going for.

She was bored today. The shop had been quieter today than usual, but she expected it was nothing to worry about. Busy elsewhere. Most of the kids had already stocked up on everything they needed and she had a bunch of orders ready to send to Hogwarts when school began. In fact, she had orders ready to send to other schools as the tourism of the alley this summer had given her a whole new customer base. Something which Galilea was more than happy with.
She was lurking in the aisles, between two shelving units very close together - a favourite of her spy spots in the store. Galilea found her footing on a small shelf she had installed and dropped a headless hat onto the girl in the group and an anti-gravity hat onto one of the boys before dropping back into her hiding place.

Any? Hm.. Galilea smiled. "All. My ex in-laws have an in." And so did her own family, so between the two.. she had it more than covered.
She moved from behind the counter, leading the way into the busy and unorganised aisles of her shop. "We do. I actually have a wider selection of dragons out back if you have any specific ones you'd like? We haven't debuted them yet. But I'm happy to let you have first dibs." It was, of course, for a very important birthday. And Galilea loved birthdays.
She collected a unicorn balloon, using magic to send it over to the counter to wait for them before heading for their pygmy puff corner. "Any specific colour choice?"

Céline waved, noticing the other boy. She knew she knew him but that was where it ended. He could've been named Wilbur for all SHE KNEW. But he probably wasn't. Celine thought briefly and felt like she would've remembered it, had he been named Wilbur. "Hiya, yeah. I'm Céline." Unless he knew that. He probably did and if he didn't he should.
She gave Max a good long look. Or not Max. She wasn't sure yet. She would figure it out at some point. Or accidentally call him Max. It seemed Not Max didn't like that, so that would be a telltale sign. Hmmm. "Hold the mustache up again, yeah." Tough decisions. "I reckon a beard is more wise looking, like. But a moustache like that is proper. Like you could go get a loan from a bank with that moustache. Yeah." Her granda had a beard but not a big one, just a short one that looked proper-granda, you knew the sorts. She nodded seriously, blissfully unaware of the hat just installed on top of her head, beards were a serious matter.

Ella smiled, too. It seemed everyone had a friend or family member, distant or otherwise, with an in and that was lucky given how in demand tickets could be. "It's going to be fun, I'm sure."
"I was hoping for an Antipodean Opaleye, if you have one. Those are her favorite kind." Cecelia liked how beautiful they were, how majestic looking. Ella had to agree. "I really do appreciate this." If that wasn't obvious. She honestly felt so much better now that she had ideas in mind.
"Any coming close to lavender would be perfect." The blonde followed the shop keeper, taking in the merchandise. She was reminded of how excited she'd been coming into this shop for the first time when she was small. The nostalgia was real.

Still writing things down, Galilea was keeping track of anything they mentioned in case they needed to come back to something or change an idea. "Oh, hon, it's my job to help. I know this place inside and out and I think we have the best gift options in the entire Alley." Perhaps a little egotistical, or perhaps she was confident in her shop. Confident enough to sill be here after so long.
"Lavender? Love it." She opened up the gate into the corner and smiled. "Have a look. See if any make a good fit for you."
Cole had left Carsyn outside QQS happy to not have her tagging along by his side everywhere, and was now wandering around the shops in the south part of the alley. He liked his cousin it wasn’t that, he just wanted this shopping day to be in a certain way and that didn’t involve more of Carsyn time. With his luck today though he almost expected that he’d run into Carys too. Since he still had time and some money to spend before he had to meet his dad and sister at the leaky for lunch, he continued up the south street.
After a while he came to a stop in front of Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes and on the spur of the moment headed inside at the jingle of the door bell. Maybe he could find some fun prank or trick to bring to school as well as a pygmy puff for his kid sister that his father wouldn’t say no too. Roaming around the shelves Cole eventually found the pygmy puff area after being mesmerized by the e-ditch-able section. Ton tongue toffees looked interesting. Anyway, gazing down at the small furry pygmy puffs he wondered what colour his sister would like. He was sure though that it wouldn’t be that ugly orange at least.

Are you serious right now?!
There was a joke shop in Diagon Alley? This had to be one of the coolest things ever! EVERRRRR. Charlie wasn't what you could call a prankster, but he was a typical eleven year old boy. The thought of watching items like belch powder, dung bombs, or stink pellets go off on some unsuspecting person seemed like too good of an opportunity to pass up! He was already thinking about what his parents or siblings would say if he brought these home. HILARIOUS.
Charlie laughed to himself then roamed around the shop some more. That was when he came up on some guy looking at these poof balls of fur. "What are those?!" he asked, not being able to help himself. He'd probably seem like an idiot for not knowing, but whatever. "They look like real, living and breathing cotton balls!" Should he pick one up? Did they bite or something?
