Trixie was slightly perplexed by this all. He was just her best friend but Jayce had become slightly flustered by this fact.

The young blonde watched as Jay made some excuse as to where he was supposed to be and hugged her before departing the shop. Err...Oops. Maybe he was just going to see Eirian. Those two were close like Trixie and her best friend. See no excuses here were there?

The 16 year old turned back to Neptune, who coincidently was being the worst eavesdropper in History.

"If your trying to listen in your not doing a very good job at keeping it discreet" she told her with a sigh before leaning against the bookcase carefully. They'd make amends. They always did.

Lexi quirked an eyebrow at the girl and shook her head. "Well if you want some help, let me know. Otherwise I am going to go browse around some," she said to the odd girl. She was a Hufflepuff that explained a lot.... But she still got the feeling the girl was trying to READ her. Too bad for the girl Lexi had had a few years of hiding her emotions and whatnot to have a deadpan stare about herself. Yep. She was a CLOSED book. No pun intended.

Chanel fake smiled. So that's it the girl was just going to leave her standing there. She needed the attention. She wanted the attention. Everyone gave attention and she wasn't going to let it stop. She was and still is the prettiest girl at Hogwarts. "I hope you don't have a problem with Hufflepuff's?" Chanel asked the girl.

Lexi turned back and looked at the girl for a moment with a COMPLETELY blank face. "And if I do?" Lexi asked straight forwardly. So what if she did? What was this far less attractive little girl going to do? HA! Lexi scoffed at her *scoff*. She was barking up the WRONG tree if she wanted an enemy. Lexi did not take kindly to being pushed around. I mean, come on, she was a DENVER... nuff said.

Chanel glaced at the books and then back at the girl. "It was just simple question." she laughed. It's a question it's not that hard to answer. "I wouldn't have a probelm if you did." Chanel said smiply. She pushed a big piece of her beautiful blonde hair away from her face.

Dylan needed books. He would pop into Flourish later. Right now he wanted comic books. They were his life. He spotted his little sister with some other girl. And Lexi didn't look happy. "Something up Lex?" he said, sneaking up behind her, and placing his hands on her shoulders.

Lexi scoffed at the girl again and said, "I hardly think you would have said that if it DIDN'T bother you. That was an odd thing to say." Lexi was NOT going to be friendly much longer. The girl was trying to play little games and she was not a fan of games. Unless, of course they were Twister or Quidditch. Those games she enjoyed.

Lexi started when Dylan spoke and placed his hands on her shoulders. Lexi smirked as her Slytherin brother person showed up. He was dead on time from time to time. He seemed to have a radar for Lexi... maybe he had implanted a tracking device on her while she was asleep. Hmmm. "Not really. I think I have this under control. Whatcha doin in here? Comic books?" she asked Dylan before finally taking her eyes off of the stupid Hufflepuff girl.

Chanel rolled her bright blue eyes. "Why are you avoiding the question?" Chanel asked her. "I write to people that hate Hufllepuff's and we get along great somehow. Some are Gryffindor's, Ravenclaw's and even Slytherin's." Chanel said thinking about the people she writes to all of the time.

Dylan chuckled, "Of course. I think they have the new Iron Man here." Maybe a muggle comic book store would be better. He eyed the Hufflepuff girl. Was Lexi really handling it?

Dylan frowned at the girl, "You have a problem with Slytherins?"

Lexi looked at the girl with a perplexed expression. "Are you seriously trying to like bait me? I am trying not to get into any trouble this term... I would hate to get in trouble while still on holiday," she said rather emotionless. She flicked her right wrist deftly popping her wand into her hand. Her right arm was BEHIND her so the girl saw nothing. Dylan would have a chance to stop her... if he was quick enough. Heh. "You know, I think I don't like Hufflepuff's. Not one little bit. YOu are all jealous of the other houses since you all are forced to use safety scissors and whatnot. You can't be as aweome as the rest of us, can you?" Lexi said while giggling girlishly to herself.

Lexi nodded that she heard Dylan, but said nothing more. She gripped her wand tighter behind her back and smirked at the girl. "Yeah, you have a problem with Slytherin's? My brother here is a Slytherin. Does that bother you?" Lexi asked. She thought about putting her wand away buit kept it out just in case the less attractive little Huffie tried something stoooopid.

Chanel rolled her eyes. This girl was really trying to test her wasn't she? Yes she was? Ugh. "I'm just asking you a question." she told her. "What is your problem with Hufflepuff's?" she asked.



Chanel looked at the boy. "Why would I have a problem with Slytherins?" she asked him.

Kody seriously had NO idea why she was here. SECOND hand books? Ew. Nekoda never bought ANYTHING second hand. Because they were like, touched, and used by other people. But she'd been distracted, and entered. And now she wanted nothing more than to leave.
Well she had been until she heard someone DISSING the awesomenest that were 'puffs. Turning around, she propped her hands on her hips, shaking her head. "Hmph. Really? Safety Scissors? Oh hunny, you should HOPE that's all the wanna give the hufflepuff's, I might just have to snip off that hideous hair if I get anything better." Meh. "And why would hufflepuff be jealous of any other house? Hufflepuff is the best, me thinks your just trying to hide how much you hate YOUR house. Everyone knows hufflepuff is the best."

Why? Duh. Because they had her, Snelly and Lori.

Lexi looked from one UGLY girl to the next and doubled over laughing. "Oh.My.Merlin. You all crack me up. Cutting off hair and rolling eyes. Awww there there, maybe you will learn how to use your wands one of these days. Maybe. But you still won't be as pretty or as talented as I am. That is just a fact. And Gryffindor fricking OWNS so, yeah... not jealous in the slightest. I would rather not have a rodent represent MY house," Lexi said as tears of laughter flowed down her face.

Placing a hand on her brother's arm she smiled and nodded at him to apparate them out before she messed around and injured yet ANOTHER Hufflepuff out of rage. Luckily they had made her laugh.... so they were okay for now. *Snort*

"Now, you pitiful little girls be sure to have a nice day, although by the looks of your clothes and the fact that you are both in here shopping for third hand books... My day will probably be better than yours. Come on Dylan I think I am done SLUMMING for the day," she said and tightened her grip on his arm waiting for him to take her by sidealong apparation.

Now why the hell would she be the prettiest girl at Hogwarts? "Hello! Can't you see that Hufflepuff has the prettiest people. What about that Cedric Diggory. I saw a picture of him and he was pretty damn hot." Chanel growled rudley. It was so true that Hufflepuff has a prettier people duh! WE are also very loyal to our friends. "I would rather have a rodent than a cowardly lion." Chanel pointed out to Lexi.

It was better to be a Hufflepuff than a Gryffindor. We have a lot more friends than anyother house in Hogwarts. Us having hideous hair. That took it to far. Her hair looked so freakin' bad. She didn't even want to be in here but she had to because she was wait for her mother to pick her up because she got her broom taken away. So what a muggle saw it but it was a cloudy day and the stupid muggle could've saw anything.

Dylan's eyes widened. This was not good. But he had to stand by his sister. He felt her grip his arm. That could only mean one thing. "Right girls. Calm down. Wouldn't want you to be in trouble on the first day of school." He held onto Lexi's arm ready to apparate home. "Oh yeah. The name is Denver. I am Dylan. And this is Lexi." With that he popped out of the store.

Lexi snorted a giggle at the girl and started to bring her wand arm out in front of her. No no... no hexing poor stupid little Huffies. No. She had hexed enough of the Hufflepuffs two terms ago. Besides, she had yet to get detention and she wasn't starting now. She just continued to laugh at the unfortunate girls as she gripped Dylan's arm... not only for the apparating, but for support from the laughter racking her body.

Lexi smirked as her brother spoke and gripped her arm. "Peace. Yeah, you might want to read up on the family. We ARE famous after all," she snarled right before Dylan took them off into the darkness.

Neptune's hands flew up, one to her heart and the other to her mouth. "Are you accusing me of eavesdropping??" HOW RIDICULOUS!! How rude! "How positively wrong you are! I should call the Ministry Police and have them cut out your tongue for such slanderous lies!"


It was harrrrrrrrrrrdly Neptune's fault that they weren't being discrete. How anyone with hair like Jayce's could EVER be discrete was beyond Neptune Bott.

Trixie simply rolled her eyes. Like seriously, she wasn't in the mood right now.

That just made her giggle. But she wasn't a player goodness no. What would make her think that. *sniff* Her ex broke up with her because he thought she was cheating and she wasn't. Honestly. *Halo* And sure the girl had absolutely no common sense whatsoever but brains she did have. Hello. 12 OWL's.

"Jayce. His name is Jayce" she frowned slightly. What was it about Jayce Neptune didn't like? Ooooh the hair? What was wrong with the hair. It was cute. "Yes he is my boyfriend..." she stated. "My ONLY boyfriend" just to clear that little point up. "Why?"

Neptune rolled her eyes. "Jaaaaaaaaaaaaayce, then." GOSH. Trixie still should have known WHICH boy. The ONLY boy they'd ever come into contact with before? HELLOOOOOO DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh.


But Neptune just smiled. Smilesmilesmileysmile.


"Hmm. Well. He's very unique in appearances," Neptune offered politely. It was sort of a compliment? It was conversation fodder, actually. "Does he treat you pleasantly?"

"Thank you" the blonde smiled fakely and battered her eyelashes. Totally innocent she was. Because number one Trixie didn't like making enemies and number two, she never got in trouble. Like NEVER. So getting in an argument now wasn't a very good situation for her.

Why were they still in a bookshop where neither of them wanted to actually buy a book right now. Kinda awkward and ever so slightly stupid really. But at least it was in a quieter area and they weren't causing commotion.

Unique? Was that all she could say. Well actually that might have been a good thing seeing as the 16 year old didn't want anyone going after her boyfriend at all.

"Well yeah, he's lovely" she creased her eyebrows slightly. Why was she asking all of these question all of a sudden? Jayce had never said a bad word about her. But he was certainly close to his best friend who Trixie was sure, absolutely despised her. Made her think someone was jealous really.

Neptune had visions of herself banging her head off the shelves. Trixie was giving her NOTHING. NO details! NOTHING! And how rude was it to not ask if Neptune had a boyfriend too? Wasn't this girl CURIOUS at all?


One frustrated sigh later, Neptune began to curl the hem of her skirt up her knees.
