Izabella walked into the shop. Her eyes lit up at the sight of all the books. "First year, first year..." She loved antique things. She loved the smell of the shop. Old books she loved. "Uhm, excuse me! Where are the first year sets? I would like to buy a set," she said, her eyes still wandering around the shop.

Hearing the sound of an inquisitive voice, Daniel poked his head around the shelves and laid eyes on another young girls. Hmmm... it seemed that that the girls were more eager to get their books... or maybe the boys were being snobbish and wanted pristine books.

'Cept that guy who wanted sixth year books. Who was presumably a sixth year.

You could understand his reasoning.

"Riiiiiight on the very left side of the education shelves," he called down to her, giving a friendly smile. "You'll have to pick them all out."

"Thanks!" She walked over hesitantly and skimmed through the books that she needed. They were in great condition. Izabella walked back over to the shopkeeper. "These are in great condition! Not a tear!"

"Ahh, that's lucky," Daniel commented, truly stumped. The books in this shop, every single one of them, had had at least two previous owners, and it was very VERY rare (and lucky, depending on how you saw it) that you'd find a book in great condition. Looked like this girl had truly struck oil. "Was there anything else you were looking for?"

"Yes. But just for fun. I was wondering if you had any Romeo and Juliet books," she asked.

"We sure do," Daniel replied, shoving his sleeves up over his elbows and crossing his arms. "We keep muggle novels and books as well, mostly classic type ones. They'll be over in the other shelves but you might have to search a little."

'Cause Daniel wasn't a big fan of reading plays, so he didn't have a fantastic memory on where that particular play was.

Adam wondered if he could find Hogwarts Potions books in here, or if he would have to return back to Flourish and Blotts. He scanned the shelves but again, being so young and alone, it was harder than he thought.Adam cranned his neck and saw "Standard Education Books( Collection of Books needed For Hogwarts ) that seemed about right. Adam raised his hand high up in the air, hoping to catch anyone's helping attention....

Ellie stepped into the shop and made her way to the section for school books. Her family's farm had a rough growing season, and as a result, she needed to shop for books as cheaply as possible. Luckily, Ellie wasn't ashamed of her family's status; she had always known they weren't wealthy. This just came with the territory.

She held her reading list and started to compare what was offered here with what she needed for the next semester.

Salander opens the door to the bookshop, and holds it long enough to let his companions in. Looking around, it appeared to him like any other used bookshop... and smelled like one too. Fumbling the supplies list from his pocket, he opens it up to check the books they needed "Okaaayy.... "Great Wizards of the 20th Century"" where's that?...."

Mia stepped into the bookshop and looked around with wide eyes. There were so many books. It was like the sweet shop. So many choices.

She walked along the shelves her finger trailing against the spine of each book and she stopped about halfway when she heard Sal speak. "Maybe we should ask the shopkeeper?" Because Mia didn't have a list and she couldn't remember what she was supposed to be getting.

Turning back to the book shelf, she began to read the titles of the books but peeking at Sal from out of the corner of her eye. "May I ask what happened back in the sweet shop?" She hadn't said anything until now because Sal had been his charming self on the walk up here but it kept nagging at her.

"Yeah good idea, it could take us a while hunting each of these down, not to mention getting ones that are still usable." he replied, looking up from his list for the shopkeeper.

Her question caught him offguard "What?" he shrugged "... the dork hit me and he didnt even bother to say sorry. I say he got what was coming to him." he huffed.

Yep her flower had definitely not worked. Mia stared intently at Sal for a few moments, she didn't like to see people all worked up and angry. It gave off very bad energy. And Sal had lots of it.

Walking back over to him, Mia stood right in front of him and looked up into his face. "Did you know the vein in your forehead pulses a little when you get angry?" She brought her finger up and placed it onto his forehead, "Right there. You might want to be careful, it could explode one day." A slight exaggeration but if it made him laugh or even smile then Mia would be happy.

He wanted to say that there are lots of other things on his head that has popped open but he's still alive and kicking, but he thought better and held it back. Here was a girl he met a few minutes before and she has managed to get him to behave like a decent human being where four schools failed miserably at.

He smiled sheepishly and mumbled "Yeah, pretty hard to see "FOOL" scrawled up there until someone says something y'know."

Shaking her head slightly and letting out a small giggle, Mia took Sal by the arm and started walking backwards up the aisle. "Come on Sal, it's a beautiful day outside. Let's hurry up and get our books and then we can go somewhere fun."

She wasn't sure where they were going to go seeing how this was pretty much the second time she had been to Diagon Alley. Mia had no idea where things were and what was a good place to do to. Floreans was pretty awesome though.

Once the other girl he'd been helping had left to go retrieve the book of that play, Daniel looked around the shelves again and decided to stay put. It seemed that there were a few kids, mostly first years who needed help in this section.

And... there was one now.

With... his hand up.

"You're not in school yet," Daniel half-joked, but kept a warm smile on his face so the kid didn't think he was making fun. "Can I help you, sir?" he asked, stepping closer.

"Yes, I need my potions book for Hogwarts- I'm a first year. I think it's up there, but I can't reach it...Also, is it possible to put the buying on hold, I still need to figure out how to get the money out of the magical bank..." Adam said so quietly , he had to lean in...He really wished he had been more prepared. He first visited all the shops, out of curiosty before actually heading to the bank and being able to buy anything...

Alice had a fairly decent memory, but this was the one store that she knew she needed a list. She reached into her pocket and pulled out the small piece of parchment that her mom had written all the school books she would be needing. Alice's mom had gotten her all the every day clothing Alice would need, except the robes which she now had, and her main school supplies.

Alice looked down and the list and smiled at all the books. After all in a book store Alice always felt at home:

Finding all of these books was going to take a while. Alice looked up at the wall above her and smiled as she spotted Hogwarts: A History. This was a book she couldn't wait to read. Alice reached up and tipped the book, letting it fall neatly on top of her packaged robes, and continued looking. After a good fifteen minutes of looking around she managed to find everything.

Alice was now standing and staring at the one book that there was no way she was going to be able to get by herself. She a man who looked to be a couple of years older than her she walked up to him and waited politely for him to be free. Once he was she tapped him gently on the shoulder.

"Um, excuse me. I was wondering if you could get a book down for me?" Alice had to peak sideways around the books to really get a good look at him, and was pleased to see that he looked friendly enough. "It's the Quidditch Through The Ages by Kennilworthy Whisp." Alice couldn't free her hands to point where it was, so she motioned with her head, of course she probably didn't really need to do that since he probably already knew exactly where the book was that she needed.

"Accio," Daniel cast as he flicked his wand out of his holster and waved it at a higher shelf, focusing on the book. Once he handed the book over, Daniel smiled slightly. "I can put the books aside for you, until you come back with money," he told the kid.

"Hmmm?" Daniel turned as he felt a tap-tap-tapping on his shoulder. "Oh, right... of course," he smiled, and waved his wand at book in question, levitating it down for the girl. "Want me to put it on that pile?"

It looked... rather heavy already.

"That would be great if you could just place it on top. Thanks!" Alice help up the stack slightly so he could place it on top, which he did, and she smiled thoughtfully at him. She liked anyone who appreciate books, and since he worked here she figured he must appreciate them as well.

"I believe I've gotten everything that I need, so I'll just meet you up at the counter whenever you are ready?" Alice still needed a moment to calculate out how much it would cost for each book, since she thought she had seen a sign saying how much they would be.

"Whoa, Thanks." Adam told Daniel, completely flabbergasted at how the books came zooming by in mid air." I'll try to get my money as soon as possible. You're a really cool guy." Adam told him. He rushed out the door, and bounded for the crooked Magical Bank at the end of the street. Magic is the best thing that could have ever happened to him

"Right. Books." Salander said as he reopened the school supplies list.

Craning his neck for some some help, Salander could hear conversation a few aisles over. He turned the corner and saw two little ones and a tall one. He gave a good guess which was the shopkeeper.

He cleared his throat and with the supply list in his hand, waited patiently for his turn. Mia was with him after all.

Doing as he was bade, Daniel set the final book carefully on the already huge pile. "Sure thing," he nodded. "I'll be with you at the counter in just a minute."

With one last smile at the girl, Daniel kind of gestured towards where the counter was, trying not to look dismissive at all.

"You're very welcome," Daniel nodded, focusing on the books and stacking them in midair before binding them up with brown paper and string like he often did at the counter. One he'd Banished the books to the back room, Daniel turned to look at the kid, just catching the compliment and seeing the boy zoom out.

At first he stood there stupidly, but then he did a weird pop-da-collah-but-without-poppin'-a-collah movement and turned to his next customer; a boy who'd cleared his throat for the man's attention, and was waiting patiently.

Must have been karma... when people were patient, the lines seemed to vanish so much quicker.

"Yes, young man?" Daniel called, but not too loudly, before starting forwards. "How may I help you?"

He gave the kid a nice smile, just because he liked the fact that he was patient and civil, from what Daniel had seen.

"We need to pick up these books..." he started as he showed the shopkeeper the 4th year supplies list. "Do you have any of those in stock?"

Alright, book-buying time! Vashti was good at this. Buying books, that is. Trying not to buy all the books in the store...well she wasn't as good at that. But she was trying, and considering she was in a third hand bookstore, obviously she was rather limited on money. So that would certainly prevent her from buying the whole store, now wouldn't it? Heh.

Moving on from that train of thought, she pulled out her school supplies list and began looking through these shelves for what she needed. How she would carry them all, she wasn't sure at this point in time, but she'd figure something out. Eventually.

Jayce walked into the third hand book emporium. He sighed. Jay hated being poor, even if his mother was pretty well off, he considered himself poor still. So, feeling as if he were poor, he'd shop as if he were poor. Logical right? Err.. sorta. Well, it was as logical as Jay would be. At least until school started... Maybe...

Jayce hated books. Well, hate was a very strong word, so, he disliked them. Very much so. He strolled over to the Educational books, since he had to get them for school and all. But he quickly recognized a very familiar back of a certain someones head. Grinning, he walked next to the girl and picked up a book. "Excuse me, miss." he said to her. "But would you by any chance know what this book is for?" Even though it said transfiguration across the cover.
