If you are in need of a place to hold a meeting or a conference, look no further than The Leaky Cauldron. This Private Parlour has been used in the past for meetings with the Minister of Magic. Ministry members may book this room for meetings or conferences.
Inside, the room is made of dark wood. Several small tables run down the length of the room and many cozy, rolling chairs line it. If fewer people are attending, the table can be shortened for a more personal meeting. The room is eloquent, with tapestries hanging on the wall and portraits of famous wizards and witches line the wall, willing to give their advice if you want it (or if you don't). In each corner sits a suit of armor, regal and rigid.
Unless you have reserved this room, though, you are not permitted to enter. Please direct all inquiries about the use of this room to Ryoma.

Walking beside Monique into the part place, Leonard seemed to have an air of 'i don't know where i am'. But also his small smile made it obvious that he was happy to be there, spending time with Monique. As Monique greeted her...friends, Leo supposed they were all her friends, the man took a look around taking the note of cute animal shaped fruit arrangements. Wow...now he did not need to look at something else to find his most favourite thing in this room, other than Monique, of course.
The fact that he did not know anyone in the room did not bother him, he was just did not feel like he belonged there as he was not an ex triwizard champion. Though, if they needed a champion, he knew that he was the champion of...many things. Mostly animal related but he had his other skills too. He was going to try one of those, his other skills, today. The idea made him smirk.
When Monique introduced him, he gave everyone he could see a wide smile and nodded. ''Hello...all.''

"Been doing well," Raiden said with a grin at Fletcher. "Looks like you've been doing well for yourself...."
It was then that he heard Aleksandra; a grin spread across his face and he turned to her, engulfing her in a hug after Fletcher had. He hadn't really realised how long it had been since he'd seen... well, everyone.
"You look great," he murmured, looking Aleksandra up and down before more people entering distracted him. Noel, Nik... Monique and Mia and Rhea, too. It was both weird and awesome to see them all again especially the girls.
He waved to each of them in turn, even the guy he didn't know, who had come in with Monique.

Aleksandra had never been one for hugs.
She was one for a lot of things, but never had hugs been one of them. They usually were uncomfortable for her, and always had negative consequences for the person forcing the embrace on her. But this wasn't just any damn body hugging her, it was the Champion.
He got to call her Sandy, AND he got to give her hugs.
"I'm well, Fletcher." She returned the hug as best she could (she wasn't expecting it, okay?), unable to stop her smile from becoming amused at his enthusiasm. It was an Hogwartian trait, all his overt excitement and affection, if she remembered correctly. Sandra missed him too, even if she didn't really show. "How have you been? And what have you been up to?"
She tried to recall the last time they'd spoken and what he'd been doing then, when she was receiving another hug, this time from Raiden. Of course, he got to give her hugs as well, and she was more prepared for this one too. "Not as dashing as yourself." She was so modest, sometimes. "How've you been?" Her fingers brushed at his shoulders as she gave him a once over, turning her gaze elsewhere only when more filtered into the room.
Only a couple of the faces held any interest to her, but she was polite enough - today - to nod at each person and return their respective greetings. Sandra winked at Noel in the mix of her returned greetings, and finally settled her hazel eyes on Nikolai. She didn't believe the apology and her look said as much through her smile. "Better late than never, yes? You look handsome." His wife didn't go unnoticed either, Aleksandra was good to smile her way. "Hello."

You know, it wasn't her fault that she was late. The meeting had extended itself and it wouldn't have helped if she left before it was finished. Then she needed to change before coming, at noon...
...technically, she was perfectly on time.
Danika noticed the French Champions first, probably for spending most of her time with Cedric in France. They got waves and smiles as she took her black coat, it had been a little cold outside but she was safe inside with the little gray dress, one that certainly made her dark gray eyes even grayer, if possible.
Then her eyes landed on THE Champion, "Fletcher!" that was the first thing she said, then, "How have you been? I don't think Cedric will come, but he told me to greet you on his behalf and also to thank you for the invite," there has been an incredible improvement on her English, since most her conversations happen in that language.
And, then there were Sandra and Nikolai. Sandra she hadn't seen since the wedding, actually, but Nikolai...definitely longer. "I apologize for being late," she said, shrugging ever-so-lightly. | |

Fletcher would have surely carried on a half-decent conversation with Raiden, he really would have, had there not been a half-dozen pretty ladies to schmooze instead. So, naturally he had to finish his conversation with Sandra before doing anything else.
"I have been great," he grinned and then chuckled. "What've I been up to? Why, didn't you get the wedding announcement?" Had Rae REALLY been checking the guest list THAT closely???! "I got married last year and had a baby and bought a tattoo parlor--- which is highly successful, might I add, and which all of you are invited to check out once this shindig is over ---and Merlin, I've just been doing a myriad of things!"
He continued grinning as he stepped back and Raiden went in for hugs. "Tell me what you've been up to...." Oh, but someone else was shouting his name now. It was so hard being popular. "...after I talk to Danika real fast." He shot Aleksandra a wink and weaved through the crowd to reach another one of his former competitors.
"Daaaanika!" he went ahead and gave her a big hug too, cuz you know, he was THE Champion and he told himself he could, then took a step back to give her the once over. "You look well! Nice dress!" Aww, what a shame, lil Ced couldn't be here. "That's all right," he shrugged, "you can pretend to be my date. I had to leave the wife and kid at home." They both had really gross colds or something, anyway.
So, now that pretty much everyone was here... "Let's eat, folks! Everybody grab a plate!" Fletcher was going for back to collect his, anyway.

Nikolai did not fail to notice his wife's excitement and it made him groan inwardly. That meant she was actually going to make him stay the entire time and.. when was it supposed to be over anyway? Did that invitation have an end time? This could go on forever. He did look over at the food table when she mentioned him not going hungry, though, but seeing who was over there, Fletcher, the boy who ate off the floors, he decided to pass on that. But he was going to play nice. "Hey." he gave the Champion a manly nod of his head before glancing at Mia. "Do you want something to eat?"
If not, he could get her something afterwards. Somewhere else.
The sound of more people making their way inside had his attention on the door and he couldn't help but grin when he saw Monique enter. And since he was playing nice, he didn't say anything to her date, he only eyed him up alot little.
He even gave Raiden a manly nod of his head. Mia talked about him quite a few times. And he was there when he almost DIED, so yeah, hello to him.
Sandra, however, got more than just a nod and he flashed her another grin. "I guess I wasn't that late then, was I?" Seeing as there were still a few people missing. "You look stunning, as usual. How have you been? And you're here alone." He noticed that, he did. Then belatedly remembering she didn't know Mia, he tugged her closer. "This is Mia." His wife. But he left that unsaid.
And he would have had no problems standing there talking to Sandra, but the sound of a very familiar voice, one that he hadn't heard in a looooong time, too long in fact, caught his ears and Nikolai actually waved. To Danika. "Danika." Get away from Fletcher, he wanted to say. "Where have you been?" Was there a congratulations he needed to give?
Oh, time to eat? He was still passing.

Her excitement levels were still running high as she looked around the room and saw that more people were entering. She didn’t know who they were but she smiled in their direction anyway. When Nikolai asked her if she wanted anything to eat, she shook her head. "Maybe later." She was still too excited.
But as she watched a very beautiful woman make her way over to them, those excitement levels began to dim a little. Mia knew who Aleksandra was and even though she was married to Nikolai, it didn’t stop her from feeling intimidated by his ex?
“Hello.” Was all she managed to say before Nikolai began speaking to the other woman and Mia couldn’t help but raise her eyebrows slightly. Stunning? Okay yes, Aleksandra did look good but was that something you said to another woman?
Mia did her best to keep smiling while silently berating herself for carrying on like a jealous twit. But as Nikolai continued to speak and merely introduced her as just ‘Mia’ well that smile began to become a little forced.
“Nice to meet you.”
Maybe.

"I got the announcement. I meant more recently. Did you get my gift though?" She smirked, amused. Did he read the card on the bottle of fine wine and customized firebowl, or did he just ignore her instructions on it and open the bottle too many anniversarys ahead of time? And what was with seemingly everyone she knew getting married and having kids? She smiled anyway, and nodded her head. "You've been busy."
The tattoo parlor held more interest to her than anything else and had another welcomed face not walked in, she would have continued speaking with him, but she too had people to catch up with a bit. "I'll tell you later." She agreed, turning her attention to Nikolai. "No not late at all." Her smile brightened. "I've been well. Busy as ever with work, though that's not my reason for showing alone. I like to mix it up occasionally." Sandra shrugged, smile turning to a knowing smirk.
"Nice to meet you as well." Aleksandra knew of Mia only through past conversations, and had never really cared to meet her - she never cared to meet anyone her male friends were with - though now she supposed she had reason to. "And how have you been?" It was directed towards Nik, but if Mia wanted to speak, Sandra wasn't gonna stop her.
Of course when the best friend entered, her attention turned there. She smiled in return to her friend and let everyone else greet her as she eyed the food. It wasn't like she could chat up Danika any other time. With a flick of her wand, she the instruments to play something nice instead of going for food.
Maybe, she would eat later.
