Up the spiral staircase, the platform leads to a long hallway. On either side of the hall are different colored doors that each led to a guest room. The key to every guest room has a different color ribbon attached that corresponds to the color of the door. This little detail helps Harley remember who is staying where.
Inside each room is a large and comfortable bed that seems to sink in with each guest as they lie down for a snooze. Beside the bed is an old wooden table that has a lamp for candlelight. Each lamp is special to each room. The color of the door is the color that the light illuminates the space. Once the light is lit the colors floats up to the ceiling and illuminates the room in a round ball of gas hovering above the bed.
Every room is cleaned and maintained by the cleaning staff every morning after the guests have breakfast. And because Lucy lives at the Leaky Cauldron she is always available to handle any problems or complaints filed about the room or service.
Each one of the fifteen rooms at the Leaky Cauldron is equip with a fireplace for flooing (but remember that only those with guest keys may do so), a vanity, and a dresser with several wooden hangers, and a view of the streets below, which filter in the noise from both Diagon Alley and Charing Cross Roads.
Because of the limited space at the Leaky Cauldron those who wish to spend the night or any length of time must file with Lucy about staying in a guest room. Once administered a key be mindful to be respectful to your fellow witches and wizards and at all times follow the Rules of the Leaky Cauldron.
OOC: In order to post here, your character must have rented a room from Lucy. If you are posting here without renting, you will be notified by PM that your posts have been deleted. Repeated offenders will result in further action taking place.
Feel free to role play your characters bustling about up here. When your character chooses to check out, though, let Birchwoodmom know, so you can be taken off the list. Names that have been on the list for more than three weeks will be removed automatically.

Worst had to have been from a girl who had a dragon hide purse. Now that had really hurt and he had had the markings from the bag on his face for nearly two weeks.
Marshmallow squeaked again and this time really did tumble off Ryoma's shoulder, but managed to land somewhere on Jen's dress with his tiny paws holding on for dear life.
"Hear that buddy," Ryoma laughed scooping the poor thing up - making sure his claws did not snag her dress of course. "I told you you were going to have to stay. You can guard Jen's room." He then looked at his date. "So, where is this surprise you refused to tell me about?"

Jen could see the desperation in Ryoma's face. She felt bad for planning so poorly. She should have thought ahead, but that was what she got when she asked men out on dates at the spur of the moment. But Jen had a good feeling about this, even if it seemed a little shady at the moment.
"Uhm, alright." Jen said with an unsure smile and a shrug of her shoulders. She watched him wave his wand and did as she was instructed and closed her eyes. Jen really wasn't too sure now about where this date was headed, if would end well or horrible. But she followed after Ryoma. "You better not let me trip and fall. These tights are new." She warned him with a sly grin sneaking across her face.

Toni Hunters emerged from the staircase, her room is 2-4, to the right, with the key, he open the door and go inside, she need rest a bit but before it, she must be unpack her things toward a cabinet. any moment the Leaky princes will deliver some food for dinner.

Ryoma made his way back from the party still feeling a bit dazed and confused about the entire thing. Seeing the sign that his boss had put up, Ryoma took is down.

Mizuki walked into her room. She took Caramel out of her pocket and quickly unpacked her trunk. She walked into the bathroom and started the hot water for a good hot bath. She set out her favorite white linen dress and gold belt combination, with gold stilettos. She hoped Ryoma would like them. After fixing herself a cup of tea, she stepped into the hot bath. About 30 minutes later, she emerged and after a quick hair-drying spell she got dressed and sat at the dressing table, trying to decide which way to do her hair that Ryoma might like best.
A little while later, she emerged from her room, wearing the white linen dress, gold belt and gold heels. She wore her hair in a top-half french braid with the rest of her long thinck hair hanging loose. She wore dangly golden snitch earrings and Caramel was tucked into her golden purse which matched her outfit. She descended the stairs and went into the dining room to wait for Ryoma.
A few moments later Mizuki returned to her room and sat the tray down. She took Caramel out of her purse and laid her down on the bed. The kitten looked up and blinked at her. "Now don't give me that look little missy, they'll be here soon. You heard Ryoma, this is for you from Marshmallow with his love." She took the tuna flakes off the tray and sat them down on the bed for Caramel. Caramel let out a surprised mew at Marshmallow's name and then walked over to the tuna, sniffed it and began to eat, taking little tiny bites.
Mizuki smiled at her kitten then stood and walked over to her bedside table where her Daisy stood in a vase of clear water. She leaned down and smelled the delicate aroma before picking up her copy of Little Women and the special glass of iced tea that Ry had made her. She walked out onto the balcony and took a seat on a comfy chaise, lettting the sun drench her luzuriously as she read and sipped her tea and waited for Ryoma to pick her up for their date.

Mizuki nodded. She grabbed her purse and scooped Caramel into it. then placing the strap on her shoulder she turned and placed her hand in his. After regaining the ability to speak coherently, she asked, "Where to my handsome one?"

Mizuki nodded. She grabbed her purse and scooped Caramel into it. then placing the strap on her shoulder she turned and placed her hand in his. After regaining the ability to speak coherently, she asked, "Where to my handsome one?"
Still grinning like a fool, Ryoma took her arm and entwined it with his. "I thought we would go for a walk, enjoy the sunshine, and then have a picnic," he explained trying to sound all dapper and suave. He may be somewhat of a fool, but Ryoma was rather handy with Charms...in every sense of the word. Making sure that the small bag he carried in his right had didn't shake too much and totally ruin the surprise, he began to lead the way.

Virgo went up to the Guest Room at the Leaky Cauldron. It wasn't like her house but it is cozy. She walked around to look for her room
"1-5" she kept repeating as she looked at each of the door. Then finally she found it. She inserted the key into the keyhole and opened the door. She had her luggage ready on the side. It was her first time to sleep away from her home. She took a seat in the bed and looked around.
She's observing the place from top to bottom.
"Well, my things are not going to fix themselves" she took her wand from her boots. Her hands twirled and her luggages opened. The clothes went to the closet, her make up and brushes swiftly positioned themselves into the wooden dresser next to the closet. And her books and parchments and quills all dashed to the wooden desk.
She finished unpacking in about 15 seconds. She's a witch after all.

Ramona dragged her bags up the stairs, Jumbo following behind her, she lugged the final bag up the last step and kicked it to the door. Fumbling in her bag for her keys she pulled out the slip of paper that had been handed to her by the bartender. Room 2-1 she murmered, pushing her bags to the right door with her foot before she shoved the key into the door, and pushed Jumbo's nose away from the loc. Turning the key once she pushed open the door
Huuppffhhh she sighed throwing her bags onto the bed. Jumbo walked around a few times before clambering on the bed, Jumbo! She disciplined, off the bed, she said slowly. Jumbo lifted his head lazily and glared at her. She glared back and went and shoved him off the bed with a lot of effort. Rolling her eyes and shaking her head she walked into the bathroom and turned it on, jumping into the shower
When she was finished exfoliating she changed into her dress and pulled on a pair of wedge sandals. She walked back into the main part of the room, rolling her eyes at the dog who was sitting, staring at the wall, and began to apply her makeup.
Smacking her lips she pushed back her curled hair and finished putting on the mascara before lighting the fireplace and slinging on her bag and a jacket. Twirling once more Ramona sent a quick tense before heading out to on her date.
Date. A word she hadn't used in a long time...

Charlotte walked up to room 1-10 with her owl cage and her suitcase, her little ball of sunshine was walking behind her. When she opened the door Sunny ran in to the room and jumped on the bed. Charlotte smiled fondly; Sunny seemed to love beds. She set down her stuff and closed the door. Then she collapsed on her bed. She was so tired that she fell asleep instantly.
Virgo went up to her room still holding the CD on her right hand. She opened her door and went straight to her bed. She stared at the CD for a moment and thought "What is this anyway?". But that's not what's really bothering her. She's still thinking of Ryoma and his "scary" face earlier. "Is he going to be okay?" she said.
Then she looked at her door and it was still opened. She took out her wand and twirled it a bit, the door closed and locked by itself. The room is now completely silent. Nothing was moving, not even a creak on the floor.
She stared blankly at the ceiling.

August Unpack her and the boys clothes and put them into the dresser.she set up the travel crib.she took out a small Battery TV to watch her soaps.she put the boys down for a nap and watch the small TV.
Shelby made her way to room 1-4. Her back ached from packing all her stuff up from her apartment. She was exhausted too. Maybe she could find Ryoma and ask if he hade anything for back pain. She reached her room and opened the door.
Shelby froze at the door, this was almost like her apartment. The bedding was soft clean linen and the pillows were perfect. She pulled out her wand and suitcase. She enlarged her suitcase and put all of her clothes away. Shelby took out her violin and started practicing. Oh, she missed playing in an orchestra.

Noticing that she has a new neighbor by all of the bags on her door. Virgo decided to help this one out. "Hi would you like me to help you?" more like insisting. She needs to work out to break a sweat. The coldness is killing her. It's not very normal.

The only reason Virgo rented a room at Leaky was so that she could go to work easily. And of course, her father bothers her a lot at home so this place is really an advantage.
Down the hall? Virgo took out her wand and cast a spell "accio Miss Westerfield's bags" did she say her name right? Even so, the bags went straight up to where they are and placed themselves on the floor like so. "You're a witch" Virgo smiled at her "It's easier to unpack when you used magic" well that's what she did when she unpacked her clothes.
Having magic has it's advantages. Unless you're a squib.
